@DeadbeatWalkingok so, you're not in stab range of the goliath, but you are in stab range of a tentacle. You'll also have to move first before shooting so you're out of melee range of the tentacle (though maybe if you stabbed it it might die, up to you)
>Stab tentacle >Use Determination reroll to retreat max number of spaces >Lob Dynamite >If Dynamite might hurt fellow party members, pop a cap in Goliath's ass.
@DeadBeatWalkingHawkeye Harold strikes at the Green Tentacle, hitting once. But he is unable to penetrate the creature's thick hide. The Goliath chomps it's jaws nearby, the putrid stench of previous meals still on his breath, and Hawkeye Harold takes 1 Sanity Damage as he thinks about what poor miner ended up meeting his fate down in these depths.
Hawkeye Harold throws the Dynamite and misses. The Dynamite bounces next to the Blue Tentacle, and then to G8. It blows up, dealing 3 Damage! The demon roars in frustration and pain, clearly approaching death's door. Hawkeye Harold receives 5 XP!
Hawkeye Harold has 6 movement this turn. The furthest distance he can run away to while still being in pistol range of the Goliath:
- F16, F10, F5, F21
The furthest distance he can run away while still being in pistol range of the Green Tentacle:
- F17, F22, F11, E17
If he runs for the hills:
E21, E16
4 / 10 HP || 11 / 12 Sanity || 0 / 2 Determination || 305 / 500 XP || 425 Gold || Level 1 Determination: This can be spent to reroll any dice at anytime, and can be spent to use abilities.
Quickdraw:
Anytime a new group of enemies appear, and you have one hand free, you may immediately make a free attack against them.
The Quick and the Dead:
Start with 6 Dead eye shot bullets. At any point you can choose to load one of these bullets into your gun.

Hawkeye Harold moves to F11. He used his ranged attack to throw dynamite this turn.
If he can't use his pistol, why tell him he can? Myst.exe is confused by this statement.
@CollectorOfMyst fair enough! I hadn't thought of it that way, to be honest xD
There were just a couple places on the map he could of moved to out of range/line of sight of some of the monsters, which might of been a pain if he rolled one movement next turn and got less options. I don't think it'd mattered much because with the placement of other players on the map, he couldn't get too far away anyway, but I thought more information is better then less.
I've been toying with the idea of adding visually to the map for movement/gun range but I'm too lazy atm :P
@Mae Well it's basically just a square, but yeah, I get that it could be time-consuming.
EDIT: By which I mean, whilst gun range is standard, movement changes every turn, and also, it would have to account for others in the way, and the structure of walls and the like.
@CollectorOfMyst When you're factoring in both line of sight and movement it can get a little finicky and not be a square so much ^^
Like for example, from one position HH's pistol range might be this:
but if he decided to move three squares to see if he could hit the other tentacle:
the blue square shows that the void counts as 2 range.
And this is before introducing things like cover which will come into play later at some point, and has different effects depending on whether you're right next to it or far away.
so it gets a bit complicated, particularly if I was doing it for every character with different weapon ranges, and quite time consuming so I'd rather work on key bits for the moment.
