Bio:
When Seth first started his journey at 11, he wanted to befriend and be a Pokémon master. That all changed when he was hit with the realization that this world is nothing but pain and agony. He did what every normal Pokémon trainer would do. He traveled through the region battling and catching Pokémon. He even won all eight badges to fight the Elite Four. However, this is where he hit the wall. No matter how hard he trained, how long he strategized. He could never come close to even winning the first stage. All hope seemed lost and his dream seemed to be slipping through his fingers. He was about to head back home when he ran into the man that would change his world completely: Alexander Cross. He had watched his battles and seen him training to defeat the Elite Four only to fail. Alexander told him of a secret place where he could train and excel his Pokémon training to the next level. Seth saw his offer as a last ditch effort and knew if this didn’t work, he’d be on the next bus home.
Seth Followed Alexander to Violet City. Seth thought Alexander would take him to the Gym leader here since he had several Fighting-type Pokémon. However, Alexander showed him into one of the more, run down stores. He followed Alexander into the store and towards the back wall where a large man sat in a folding chair that barely held his mass. The man looked up from his magazine, saw Alexander, and nodded before he knocked twice on the wall. It split open to reveal an elevator. The two got on and it descended into the subbasement of the store. When the elevator stopped and opened. Seth’s world would be changed forever.
The Door opened to reveal a massive arena and in the middle was a domed steel cage. The crowd cheered loudly as a large spark of electricity emanated from within the cage. Alexander led Seth towards seats near the front of the crowd and Seth saw what was inside the cage. Within the confines of the domed prison were two trainers and their Pokémon. One was a Nidoking that was riddled with scars. One of them was fresh as blood oozed from the large fissure in its arm and onto the stained concrete floor. Its horn was severed from its head and left a jagged sharp edge at its tip that dripped with fresh blood. Its opponent was an equally battle-scarred Hitmonchan. Its right arm hung limply against its body and its left eye was closed with a large gash over it. The two trainers inside the cage didn’t seem to care that their Pokémon were on the verge of fainting. They yelled their attacks and their Pokémon obliged. The Hitmonchan charged first and tried to hit the Nidoking with a Mega Punch. However, the Nidoking ducked the attack and was able to grab the Hitmonchans limp arm and hip tossed it into the cage. As soon as the Hitmonchan hit the steel a large bolt of electricity shot into the Hitmonchan. It fell to the floor and didn’t get up. a bell rang and the crowd cheered as the Nidokings arm was raised in victory.
Alexander explained that this type of battling was frowned upon by the gym leaders and Elite Four. This is why they took place in this underground facility. Alexander called this place the Battle Dome. This was where aspiring trainers who had exhausted all other methods to get stronger came. He said the trainers here were like Seth: they trained and strategized trying to beat the Elite Four, but all failed like him. Alexander explained that if he trained in the Battle Dome. He would be able to win against the Elite Four. Seth was scared, to say the least. He had seen how the last fight went and didn’t want his Pokémon to look like they were on the brink of death. Alexander seemed to know what he was thinking because he placed a hand on Seth’s shoulder and said he’d help him through the Domes training. Seth was still scared and didn’t know if he could trust Alexander. However, he knew that if he refused his offer. He’d be going home a failure. In the end, he agreed and the dark path of his future was set in stone.
The first several battles where losses since his newly evolved charmeleon were hesitant to fight Pokémon looking like they were about to die. His other Pokémon didn’t seem too eager as well and seemed much weaker than the other trainers Pokémon. Alexander told Seth that to win battles in the Dome, he would have to put Seth and his Pokémon through the same training program he went through. Seth agreed and for the next three years. Alexander mercilessly and ruthlessly trained Seth and his Pokémon. During that time, Seth released all his Pokémon but his charmeleon because Alexander said all but charmeleon was strong enough to fight in the Battle Dome. Seth caught all-new Pokémon and continued training. He continued to release and capture Pokémon until Alexander was sure his team would win. Once the training was complete, Seth returned to the Dome.
His first match was a victory, but only by the skin of his teeth. He continued to fight in the Battle Dome and Continued to win matches as his Pokémon started to resemble the other trainers Pokémon: his
Charmeleon that had now evolved into a Charizard was riddled with battle scars and had a large X-scar over its right eye, his Onix’s stone body was filled with large fissures and cracks with its large stone horn atop its head was broken off and left nothing but a jagged point, his Scizor had three large scars on its chest and both claws were cracked and bruised, his Beedrill’s two steel drills were cracked and coated in darkened dried blood. Its large stinger had a massive crack down the middle and was unusable, and his Sandslash was the worst. Many of its back spines were missing or chipped in half, its right arm sported a large scar that went from its chipped and cracked claws to its shoulder and both its eyes were unusable with burn marks fusing its eyelids shut. However, even with it now blind, it used the earth to see oncoming attacks.
Seth’s Pokémon weren’t the only things to change in the Battle Dome. His personality changed too: He was now cold and filled with a bloodlust to win no matter the cost. He pushed his Pokémon to their breaking points and then demanded they continue no matter how tired or hurt they were. After several wins in the Dome, Seth went back to challenge the Elite Four. He was battling the third member Bruno when the other Elite Four members stopped the match. They told him he would no longer be able to face the Elite Four or advance because of how he treated his Pokémon. The champion at the time Lance told Seth how disgusted he was with how he treated his Pokémon. He said that Seth’s Pokémon was filled with hatred, rage, and a bloodlust that could not be quenched. Seth was kicked out of the Indigo Plateau and not allowed to ever return. Seth felt robbed, he was going to win and they knew it. They didn’t want to lose and so they kicked him out. At least that’s how Seth saw it. He returned to the Battle Dome and there he stayed as he continued to take out his frustration out on any challenger who dared to step in the ring.
That all changed when an organization scouting for hired trainers saw his match one evening. Once Seth had finished the battle and collected his pay. He turned to see the Organization representative ushering him over. Seth wasn’t too keen on meeting business types, but since the representative was standing near the exit. He had no choice. He figured he’d hear him out and if he got bored, he’d simply get up and leave. The representative said he worked for a secret organization. Seth just sighed and asked the man to get to the point. The man nodded and told Seth his bosses wanted someone to travel and “acquire” Pokémon by any means necessary. Seth thought about this and then asked how much the job would pay. After losing his dream, the only thing Seth found solace in was money. The representative told him of his Pay. Seth liked the number and all the zeros that came with it. Seth asked what his Organization was doing. The Representative simply said: we are looking for Elite Pokémon to help in the creation of a powerful Pokémon that would rival any and all Pokémon. Seth wasn’t too turned by this and asked when he needed to start. The Representative gave him a wicked smile and uttered. "Immediately"
