Human history is a history of revolutions. Revolutions against authority, against tradition, against faith, and against their own deficiencies and inabilities. No matter how strong, how entrenched, how powerful an empire, its time has always come for it to fall. No matter how formidable an obstacle, human ingenuity has found a way around it or at least a way to weaken it. This is how nations such as Rome and the Third Reich fell. This is how a man was able to set foot on the moon.

This is not the story of human history. But the lessons human history teaches us are no less relevant in this new world.

~City of Sylvnor, Planet of Cindorya~
December 2056

“Down with the Emperor! Up with Cindorya! Down with the Emperor! Up with Cindorya!”

The crowd made its way forward, brandishing signs and makeshift weapons alike. The sky was orange with both the sunset and the occasional fire. A Molotov cocktail was thrown, adding another orange blossom to the world. Against all this cacophony, a deeper and more menacing sound could be heard. It was the sound of marching.

A wall of men advanced down the street. Riot police, bearing the sigil of the Cindorayi Empire on their shields and guns in their hands. A spotlight pierced through the orangey gloom and illuminated the center of the crowd, as the police commander shouted.

“Imperial citizens, you are hereby ordered to disperse! By Imperial Edict 347, this is an illegal gathering. Put down all weapons and disperse at once or we will fire!”

This warning seemed to only embolden the crowd. Several more blossoms of fire erupted against the police’s shields and behind them, and they surged forward. The police looked at one another anxiously, and then prepared to fire.

In the precise moment when the commander’s mouth began to open, a jet streaked by and a bomb fell right down into the center of the police lines. The police line wavered, then shattered without leadership. Some were beaten, some were pushed aside, but the crowd kept advancing, as a landslide does heedless of obstacles in its way.

Nearby, a reporter, trying to retain some decency as the cold wind gusted past and billowed up her dress, was shouting into the microphone to be heard.

“These are by far the largest protests ever seen in Sylvnor, or indeed on all of the Cindoryan Imperial Colony!” The reporter pointed to the advancing crowds. “Unrest has been rapidly increasing over the Imperial taxation policies and draconian restrictions over the last week, but only now have we seen such a massive public outcry! Protesters are demanding the Viceroy be replaced with a democratic, autonomous govern…” The reporter trailed off as she listened to her earphone. “We have breaking news that the Colonial Army has sided with the protestors and is currently attempting a coup. I repeat, a coup is in progress.”

~Imperial Palace, City of Lunysvet, Planet of Nova Mondial~

The viewscreen powered down and there was nothing but silence.

“As you can see, Your Imperial Highness, the situation is… escalating quickly. The Viceroy reports he’s virtually lost control of the situation. We may have to grant the Imperial Col-“ A nervous Cindorayi civil servant twitched his tail nervously.

“May I ask if you are going to seriously present such a ludicrous proposal to my face? Shall I have you executed for treason right here and now?” A man clothed in luxurious robes leaned forward slightly, his pointed face half-illuminated by the light.

“No, Your Imperial Highness, I was merely-“

“Then enough of this foolishness. The Imperial Colony will be reclaimed, and our empire will continue to expand. This was merely… an unfortunate setback.” The Emperor chuckled and leaned back once more.

Greetings, and welcome. This is likely my third attempt at GMing a RP, as I don’t usually come up with concepts that occur so evocative to me as to warrant it. I can only hope that this is the most successful one yet. If you had the patience to read through the above, I welcome you to Novira. The basic premise of this RP is as follows:

Setting: This is a roleplay which primarily takes place on a habitable world much like our own, called Nova Mondial. The primary difference is this: multiple sentient species have developed on the world, and exist in competition with each other. Most species exist as independent, unified nation-states. The RP takes place at a technological level in the near future, with these nations beginning the process of interplanetary colonization.

Style: This RP is ideally very open-ended in terms of how you choose to carry it out. Some people prefer to narrate large-scale events, others to look at everything within their nation from an individual character perspective. You’re perfectly free to do either or both.

Backstory: The world of Nova Mondial emerged after the year 2036 in the Cindorayi calendar from a major war, known as the Void War (2034-36) as it involved the first use of space-based weaponry systems. In this time, the world was split into two major alliances, one spearheaded by the Cindorayi Empire and the other by the Aldabetan Republic. The Cindorayi soundly and completely defeated the Aldabetan Republic, ending with the dropping of nuclear weapons on several Aldabetan cities and the wholesale annexation of their territory.

In the twenty years since, the Cindorayi Empire and their allies, known collectively as the Nova Dominion, consolidated their control over outer space. Having uncontested superiority after the Void War, rival developing nations had no choice but to seek Cindorayi permission to launch spacecraft or colonize, or risk being blown out of the sky on the way up. While the Empire and its allies collaboratively settled Nova Mondial’s habitable moon, Lunoi, the Empire reserved for itself the closest habitable planet, which they named Cindorya. In the last decade, they initiated a massive colonization drive to move a million people over to the new planet via a space elevator, the first of its kind. In order to enforce order and ensure maximum expansion, the Cindoryan Imperial Colony enforced heavy rules and regulations on the populace, as well as taxes to fund its efforts back on Nova Mondial. This, understandably, provoked heavy backlash and in December 2056, the Celestial Republic of Cindorya declared independence from the Empire. The resulting war resulted in the destruction of the majority of the Cindorayi Empire’s space infrastructure. The RP begins on the first day of 2057. The way is now open for rival nations to begin to take on - and potentially surpass them - in the great race for colonization of the rest of the Novira System.

Nation Sign-Up Sheet:

Name of Nation:
Nation Characteristics: (Government, culture, anything you see fit to explain about how your nation operates)
Nation Location: (Feel free to indicate a general place in text and I can add you to the map, or add yourself.)
Nation Initial Population:
Species Name:
Species Characteristics: (Basic physical features, anatomy, etc. Nothing too outlandish or overpowered, please, and preferably no humans)
Side Chosen in Void War: (Cindorayi, Aldabetan, or neutral)
Technological Level: (The baseline for this is like standard modern technology. The Cindorayi Empire is the most advanced at present, with several advanced technologies such as a space elevator, laser and railgun weapons, and nuclear fusion power. Allies would have been given some of these technologies, but not all. Also include what level of space presence your empire has, if any. Most nations should at least have communications satellites and a space station, however Cindorayi allies would have been allowed to arm their stations/satellites and also to have a moon colony.)
Special Resource: (It’s an alien planet, and so correspondingly I’ll allow each applying person to say there’s a unique resource not found on earth that they have large deposits of, provided again it’s not too overpowered. Example: The Cindorayi have Cindor crystals, which are capable of storing much larger quantities of energy than conventional batteries.)

I intend to balance the technological/space advantage given to the Cindorayi allies by being more permissive with the other categories (population, land area, species and special resources) to those who chose the Aldabetan side.

Physical:

Celestial Bodies (in order from the star, Novira):

Irkalla: A desolate, Mercury-like volcanic planet, which is completely uninhabitable on the surface and possesses no atmosphere. An underground colony would be theoretically plausible, but difficult. Roughly the size of Earth’s moon.

Europia: Lying on the inner edge of Novira’s habitable zone, this is a hot desert/savannah like planet which has no oceans, only small seas and lakes. Roughly 1/2 the size of Earth.
---Nachbar: The sole moon of Europia, uninhabitable, no atmosphere and hot, 1/6 the size of Earth’s moon.

Nova Mondial: The home planet, of a similar size to Earth.
---Lunoi: A habitable, temperate moon with a single large sea. Suffers severe tidal effects due to Nova Mondial. Colonized by the Cindorayi Empire and a few other major Nova Dominion powers. Of a similar size to Earth's Moon.
---Edhya: An uninhabitable, cratered moon much like our own, but with ice caps at the poles that could be utilized for water. Approximately a fourth the size of Earth’s moon.

Cindorya: Lying on the outer edge of Novira’s habitable zone, this is a cold, mostly tundra-arctic world with a thin temperate band around the equator. The ice caps consist of nearly a third of the surface, though there are oceans that separate the continents along the temperate band. Approximately 2/3 the size of Earth.
---Duiria: A rocky, uninhabitable moon with a thin atmosphere made almost entirely of carbon dioxide, of similar climate to Mars. Most hospitable of the uninhabitable bodies and potentially able to be terraformed with enough time and effort.

Asteroid Belt: The asteroid belt here is very similar to that of the Sol System’s, essentially the fragmented remains of what could have been a planet, endless rocks drifting in the void.

Sapia: This final habitable planet lies well outside the habitable zone, but possesses an extremely thick atmosphere with a high concentration of carbon dioxide, creating a greenhouse effect that keeps the surface relatively temperate and the oceans liquid. This planet is approximately twice the size of Earth.
---Felinis: Similar to Cindorya in climate, but no oceans, and due to the vertical rotation around Sapia, only one side of the moon is habitable at a given time. As the rotation slowly changes, the habitable side moves circularly around the equator, making one rotation every four years. Approximately the size of Earth's moon.

Kharok: A gas giant at the outer edge of the solar system of similar size to Jupiter. The gas giant has seven small, uninhabitable rocky moons, some of which are closer to asteroids.

Note: I’m considering allowing civilization(s) native to Sapia to apply, in some kind of industrial-era level technology, since it would be very interesting as the RP progresses to see that sort of interaction, as well as to make taking Sapia more difficult as it it is by far the most valuable of the planets.

Please tell me what you think and feel free to give recommendations!

You could, yeah, some sort of refugee colony on a different continent, but I had some ideas about the Aldabetans as it went into my own storyline, so we would have to reconcile those.
But the second idea sounds pretty interesting and you're welcome to it.

Alright so what about this:
A Aldabetan squad of soldiers and a couple dozen of armed civilians was moving towards the enemy territory during The Void War when the nuclear weapons was launched. They evacuated using stolen technology then fled to a remote island.

Then yeah resources start dropping they are forced to go out once more and stuff.

Works for me. Feel free to fill out a nation sheet. I'll probably move the RP over to the proper section soon, as I've got a few people interested.

You can also describe the Aldabetans, and I'll work with that description.

Name of Nation:
New Auslassia

Nation Characteristics:
Nominally a Republic, but the most authority is held along the coast. The vast desert interior of the nation is a vast savanna or desert. Here, only herders and mining towns live, sprinkled thinly out across the great red clay and orange sands.

The disproportion of power and authority though is not at disharmony with the government, is it may seem for one part of the country to be at anarchy to another.

The coasts though is where the wealth lives. Abundantly proud of their water, the inhabitants of Auslassia flock to the shores. The coast, particularly the southern shores are renowned for their vast gold sand beaches and amiable surfing conditions, inviting surfers from all over.

Nation Location:
That big island in the upper-left.

Species Name:
Sapiens and Alt-Sapiens

Species Characteristics:
Sapiens are nominally like humans, and legends say they were born of pirates that came to interfere in the world. One of the results of their interference has been the creation of what they call the Alternate Sapien, or the Second Class in certain quarters. A product of genetic experimentation, the alternate sapiens are more a hybridization of man with animal to create a fully expressive, sapient animal.

Side Chosen in Void War:
Nominally neutral, though independent groups served as volunteers among the Republic.

Technological Level:
While not as militarily advanced as the Cindorayi, Auslassia has comparatively equal commercial and consumer level technology, whether in the pursuit of mining resources or managing animal herds, or even for the entertainment and amusement of its tourist visitors. Launching from its space port it also allows for the use of foreign private freighters or its own private company freight fleets through the system.

Special Resource:
Vegamine Coal – Seemingly abundant in the national interior, in the beds of ancient swamp beds “vegamine coal” is a super dense source of fuel and carbon that's been found useful in nanotechnology and in relatively low-cost energy, as opposed to straight coal it burns slower and hotter; releasing relatively more potential power for low-tech energy production.

Similarly, a radioactive metal is mined in regions, under the name of Waltzdium, a blue-green metalic mineral safe to handle without protection, but when used in energy generation produced a strong and steady stream of radiation.

GRAND PROTECTORATE OF LITHLA

Nation History (1919-2036): Established in 1919 following the assassination of Empress Lilith V and her two sons, the Grand Protectorate of Lithla was established first as a regency, to facilitate the selection of a new monarch from among the Noble Lithlan Houses. Competing rivalries and an ever shifting bloc of Regency Councillors bought out by the noble houses brought about a deadlock in the Regency Council and no progress of any sort being made in regards to the election of the Monarchy. As a result, the Protectorate was plagued with unrest that culminated in the election of a Grand Regent, ruling as a stand-in monarch until the Regency Council could come to a decision.

In 1982, tensions broke out between the Aldabetans and the Lithlans, with the annexation of the neutral state of Ryuvia on the southern shore of Lake Tannyl. A brief war was fought along the Tannyl River that ended with a ceasefire and the creation of a Ryuvian Republic under joint Aldabetan and Lithlan control.
In 2026, Aldabetan influence in Ryuvia reached its peak with the election of the pro-Aldabetan Alosrin Yinmyar. Under Yinmyar’s presidency, Ryuvia drifted ever closer to the Aldabetan camp, culminating in a petition for annexation in 2032.

Following the outbreak of the Void War, Lithla quickly threw its lot in with the Cindorayi, dispatching over 100 000 soldiers supported by 2000 tanks, 10 000 cavalrymen and 80 flights of bombers to overwhelm the Aldabetan lines across the Tannyl River. What was expected to be a quick push across the river soon turned into a stalemate, as both sides entrenched themselves in hastily built bunkers and trench lines on the west bank and turned the front into a slow meatgrinder. The tide turned in July of 2036, with the launch of a Lithlan laser-satellite into the lower atmosphere of Nova Mondial, carving a hole into the trench lines of the Aldabetans and allowing Lithlan armored divisions to punch through and establish a new front line 20 kilometres from the Aldabetan capital of Lakeside.

The shedding of Lithlan blood over the Tannyl River proved to be in vain however, as the Cindorayi broke their promises to the Protectorate, ceding them only the eastern bank of the Tannyl River, and thus only half of the territory of the former Ryuvian Republic that was offered in exchange for Lithlan participation. The broken promises of the Cindorayi led to a downward spiral in relations, one that continues to cloud the political atmosphere of Lithla.

Nation Characteristics: Nominally an absolute monarchy, the Grand Protectorate can best be described as a constitutional dictatorship. A Grand Regent is elected by the will of the Regency Council to preside over the governance of the state for life, with power over the military, appointment of ministers, foreign affairs and economic matters. As of the year 2056, the Protectorate has been in regency for over a century, leading to some foreign commentators to dub it as ‘The Eternal Regency’.

Owing to the nation’s extensive time as a feudal empire before transitioning into an absolute monarchy in comparison with its neighbours, Lithla maintains loyalty, honour and fidelity as its most important tenets. In Lithlan culture, the lowest of non-noble society are those who fail to atleast make an attempt to honour their agreements. Serfdom too remains a common practice in Lithla, though it is massively different from what it was in the past. Legally, Lithlans can still sign a contract of indentured servitude, or be placed in serfdom for an outstanding debt, but aristocratic families no longer desire to chain their own people to the fields and the mines when automation and machinery perform much better. In addition to that, Lithlan indentured servants or serfs are still allowed considerable freedom of movement and are only obligated to serve their lords for 10 months per year, with the serfs being freed for a period of two months before returning to serfdom the following year.

Lithla’s economy is primarily focused on high quality heavy industry, employing 41% of the workforce and making up around 55% of the country’s GDP, whereas agriculture, retail, tourism and space exploration make up 4%, 19%, 10% and 12% of the economy respectively.

Initial Population: 45 million; Concentrated on the coast of Lake Tannyl, the east bank of the River Tannyl and the vast plains in between the lake and the Kaina Mountains that make up the Protectorate’s eastern borders.

Species: Lithlans
Characteristics: Humanoid and slender, often reaching up to 6 feet tall. Lithlans have uniquely pointed ears and slanted eyes. A unique feature of the Lithlans is their unnaturally long lifespans, with the average lifespan of a Lithlan edging 800 years. However, their long lifespans come with an unusually short fertility period in comparison. A Lithlan is only fertile for a period of 150 years, from the age of 75 to 225, which when coupled with a slow gestation period of 6 years, leads to a slower rate of growth than most other races. Lithlans also possess heightened reflexes and instincts, often able to sense danger and manuever faster than most other species.

Side chosen in the Void War: Cindorayi
Technological Level: Near-Cindorayi.

Owing to the small but elite full-time military that rarely numbers more than 400 000 active personnel, the Protectorate has always maintained a focus on superior technology to make up for its deficiency in numbers. As a result of their alliance with the Cindorayi, (despite a slight debacle over Western Ryuvia) the Protectorate fields a state-of-the-art Atmospheric Laser Bombardment Satellite, an improvement over the one that devastated Aldabetan lines in the Void War. Whilst Lithla lacks some of the Cindorayi’s advancements in technology such as a space-elevator or railguns, the Protectorate makes up for it in other ways, being the pioneers of bullet-resistant polymer body suits that have become near-standard issue to its military forces. One peculiarity of Lithlan technology however, is the near absence of armored tank divisions in the years following the Void War. Instead, Lithla began fielding elite cavalry in the age of the automatic rifle. Utilizing the same bullet-resistant polymer as the ones used in infantry equipment, Lithla has practically brought about a revival of the cavalry charge as their famed Ouroboric Knights ride once more, unabated by machine gun fire.

Space Presence: Small.

Whilst Lithla maintains a small colony on Lunoi with a population of around ten thousand, the majority of Lithlan Space Exploration efforts have been focused on Europia, and even then, only a small research outpost of some two hundred permanent residents has been established.

Special Resources: Osmolian Gems

While Lithla has benefitted little from their presence on Lunoi and Europia, the Kaina Mountains on Lithla’s eastern border are rich in Osmolian Gems, capable of amplifying the intensity of light passing through it by up to 100 times, which has seen massive application in Lithla's atmospheric laser-bombardment satellite as well as in the laser technology developed by the Cindorayi.

Nice idea for the roleplay.

Here's my tentative nation(s) sheet. Let me know if it seems reasonable. Although I'm putting one down, it is near the breaking point into civil war.

Nation Sign-Up Sheet:

(clickable)

Name of Nation: Famsidian Union
Nation Characteristics: The Famsidian Union was founded in 1744 as a confederation of loosely connected Famsidian smaller countries. It was intended to be a way to provide common protections and resources while still providing each individual country's autonomy. A limited power republic based government was put in place to oversee things to mixed results. Since then, centralized power has grown under tense operations. The culture of the countries are very diverse which both adds to their ability to adapt, and growing disagreements. In the years since the forming of the confederation, it has gradually became a federation with increasing power. The autonomy of the smaller countries is not as great proportionally anymore which is just one of the many contentious issues circulating throughout the increasingly divided nation. In 1994, the country nearly went to civil war, but it was averted from peaceful negotiations and reworking of the law system to allow more Famsidian voices, and increasing the size of the Union Congress at the central government for more representation. This has worked... for now.

Nation Location: Nova Mondial, southwest continent, southwest block.
Nation Initial Population: 76.2 million
Species Name: Famsidian
Species Characteristics: Famsidians (as shown) have four arms, which has made them more coordinated for tool use and multitasking. However, they are not very good at defense without it, and are slow to move due to having to move a larger body.
Side Chosen in Void War: Most are neutral (65%), second most agree with the Cindorayi (23%), few with Aldabetan (12%) although those that agree with the Aldabetan tend to be more extreme. The disagreements have so far made the nation stay neutral.
Technological Level: In addition to the base technologies, there is a lot of general research, primarily into consumer products for commerce, and manufacturing. 3D printers are as standard as desks, and knowledge how to use them is like literacy (over 99.9%). This also includes a well tracked recycling program and resource management system. Computers are common, including networks, though not very advanced beyond Earth 2000 level. More nationally, the biggest industries are mining, agriculture, and architecture. More locally, it is very diverse but spread thin as well. For example, there is a monopoly on telephones and there hasn't been much innovation or developments beyond a national phone service. Space travel involves satellites and a fast growing space program. Interplanetary probes have been sent, but no crew-based missions have been attempted beyond orbit as of yet. Although plans to begin space colonization are on the way.
Special Resource: Famsdamen - not really valuable materials on their own, but a highly efficient fuel when processed correctly. It can be used for long-range travel at the cost of power. While it can allow travel for otherwise unheard of lengths without using much at all, it isn't going to make the journey fast. Analagously, if a barrel of oil would be two days, this would take a teaspoon and a week. Burning more also doesn't add much to speed either. On the plus side, it can allow a lot more room for larger spaceships or vehicles because the conventional fuel equation isn't as prohibiting. Of course, those also take a lot more build time and other resources.

Hmm... I have no clue what the other nations are like. I may go with the following app I made or decide to set up on Sapia instead where I would make something much, much more alien than these loose relatives. I am assuming that the Void War caused some outflow of refugees to other countries in other parts of the world.

-----
Name of Nation: The Greater Gestalt of the Four Vital Streams (Or simply The Gestalt)

Nation Characteristics: Theocratic Republic with with a deeply, deeply ancient system which is notorious for its alarming persistence even in the face of modernity. They have incredibly ancient ties to the land and have basically existed forever if you go with their mythology. They had been highly successful in their modernization camapigns due to their highly centralized, authoritarian system of government codified through ancient texts where reality and myth have no boundry. Despite their insular foreign policy, they are very welcoming of absorbing outside species to the Gestalt. The Greater Gestalt has managed to make very incremental progress towards being a modern society, but they are still a society based around manufacturing than anything else. Internally, they have problems with a range of radical resistence groups, but for now they have managed to keep some semblance of valuable stability.

Their society is primarily represented by the Great Mind, who is a male Sopor picked by a council of Sopor to act as the conciousness of the Gestalt and these male Supor are regionally elected from the different parts of their ecumene by local landlords. The underclass, who are effectively serfs, do not get to participate in elections and tend to be given bread and circus. This arrangement has caused numerous internal conflicts which the upper classes have had to crush multiple times, often with incredibly totalitarian methods.

Nation Location: The heavily forested region w/ multiple rivers, lakes and presumed swamps in the lower left part of the map. Their civilization holds its legitimacy on the control of these four huge river systems and their capital is situated around the lake.

Nation Initial Population: 112 Million due to the Violet Salt, river beds and such.

Species Name: The Sopor

Species Characteristics:
The Sopor are the main species of the Gestalt, even if they have come to include other species as part of their empire due to their special uses to the Greater Gestalt. They are humanoids of varying shape and size with the universal characteristic of being very pale skinned. They also have large arm flaps used for gliding, as many Sopor are arboreal by nature and this shows in their climbing oriented infrastructure. The Sopor have extreme gender dimorphism as well.

Male Sopor are usually very big, tetrapodal creatures who while more mobile when young, develop to become semi-sessile beings as they age and breed extremely frequently. These males make up the upper echeleons of society and tend to have other males killed in order to keep their positions. Spacecraft tend to be piloted by a specialized caste of male Sopor, as they were during the age of sea ships. It's all the same to them.

Female Sopor meanwhile, take on many, many more roles be it argiculture, construction, basically everything the male Supor don't do and stay mobile forever. Male Sopor that don't age tend to end up looking very much like female Sopor, indeed when young the gender isn't actually determined. It is only when they get older that the male Sopor become their adult form.

Side Chosen in Void War: Neutral
The Gestalt was never one to care for such alliances with outsiders.

Technological Level: The Gestalt is an industrial society despite their more naturalistic roots, mainly because in their mind, their pollution and ravaging of their own forests is just another aspect of nature and view their whole society as just some huge animal anyways. It is a polarizing issue within the courts, but publicly most simply don't care especially as outsiders bring it up. The Gestalt has built a strong industrial base with spacecraft and is in the middle of building an orbital city. Their strong industrial complex brought forth from their utilization of a huge population boom and heavy investment into spacecraft does mask how in many other areas, they are profoundly backwards such as in medicine or infrastructure. Int erms of weaponization they haven't gotten much further than using ballistics. Their space prescence is rather sordid an affair, with the Sopor in space usually acting almost independant of their society on the ground due to a poor communications system. There has been efforts to throw a colony ship at another planet as a "means to propogate the Gestalt", but no such projects have come to full fruition yet.

Special Resource: Violet Salt - Violet salt is a notable material whose agricultural applications have been used regularly by the Gestalt's Council for ages as a means of keeping the people fed with these fertility enhancing minerals which have also found use in trying to make a space city. Violet Salt is what is responsible for the surging populations within the Gestalt, for they have become increasingly effecient at mining it from the mountainous regions where it is found.

Everyone who has posted thus far is accepted, I like all these ideas.

Also, I added a population section to the nation sheet. I'd like everyone to list that.

Arawak, I also have another person who was interested in playing on Sapia, he's in the process of making a map I believe. Let me know your decision. I'll be allowing a maximum of three nations on Sapia just to keep the action on the main planet primarily.

The primary difference is that its size is twice as large and the atmospheric composition is different. You'll be at a lower technological level, say WW1, but I'll permit relatively massive nations to compensate. Also, while it may be habitable temperature-wise, Nova Mondial-native races would have to wear gas masks or some kind of apparatus to be able to breathe outside lest their respiratory systems suffer.

But realistically, you'll have to know that you'll be a subject of colonization. While you may be able to field much larger forces than the colonizers, it's uncertain how powerful things like machine guns and conventional artillery could be against laser satellites and and railgun tanks, among other things, as well as sort out whatever internal conflicts you may have had with your neighbors as the colonizers arrive. That being said, there will be fewer nations present, so you'll likely have less of those. It's an interesting situation with a lot of story potential, if you're prepared for it.

@Arawak
Do you have a colour preference for the map?

@Mihndar
I'll probably wait and see what the map looks like for Sapia.

@Mihndar Dark violet is preferred due to the violet salt.

Why it works I don't know, it's just meant to be super phosphorus.

How does this look?

I'd really like future applications to start to fill up the main continent, though.

Okie-dokie. I'm waiting on a couple more nation sheets (including my own, it's in progress) then I'll put the RP on the main forum.
