@Oak7ree Very good CS! His willingness to accept the existence of life other than humans in the universe makes him a prime candidate for a Leader. However, could you elaborate on what kind of horror literature he liked? The time period has a lot of specific examples to choose from.
@Oak7ree You should expand on this in your CS, especially on specific themes in these kinds of horror literature - perhaps H.G Wells' War on the Worlds fueled Arthur's curiosity about extraterrestrial life? (etc, etc.)
What if a new graduate of flight school, but was previously in the Raf as ground crew. Had good scores but wrong class. War comes. Air crew needed so they get trained. Had the scores to fly before but was not the right class or background for thr officer core, war time changed that and they just needed men.
The trainees are sifted and was pulled for enlistment to new unit and assigned based on there test scored rather than class or background.
There abit older. Say 30,s and had a few years in Raf as a ground mechanic or some other role?
@PrinceAlexus What do you mean, wrong class? If he could fly a plane, he could fly a bloody plane - it wouldn't matter what social class he came from. The British had already learnt their lessons about officer competence from World War I. However, someone with a college degree or middle-class background at the very least had a bit of an advantage over the average British farmer or factory worker in terms of being eligible for aircrew service.
I mean, ground crew being pulled for air duties isn't entirely unrealistic, but he would be assigned to an ordinary squadron. Turin Squadron has the liberty of recruiting from less desperate sources.
Also important announcement: if your character is going to be Gold or Green Leader, their rank will have to be Flying Lieutenant. My Ghost Leader will be Squadron Leader.
Also working on a character sheet, should be complete some time soon.

"Test, 1-2-3. Test, 1-2-3.
Subject Number 3-9-5-1-5-8-8-8, synoptic report.
Observations of the subject's conscious state reveal no signs of advanced forms of stress or mania. Unlike the survivors of Dynamo, the subject appears to have maintained a firm grasp of all their faculties excluding clearness of speech; though it has yet to be concluded whether this is due to poor English skills or the events that were sustained by them during their escape from France. A Czech interpreter will be required to gauge the fluidity of speech in the subject's mother tongue. Despite this however, it seems that the trauma suffered as a result of what the subject witnessed flying over France has manifested in the form of acute insomnia, and insufficient sleep punctuated by frequent night terrors. Due to the subject's flight experience and relative mental fortitude, I must refer them to the Ministry of The Interior for further psychological evaluation. Enclosed in this report are details of prescriptions that myself and my colleges heavily advise the administration of."
"The subject was raised in a Catholic home by whom they described as very devout parents. At first when confronted about their beliefs the subject was very hesitant to answer, claiming, and I quote, 'it is a matter that should remain between a person and themselves.' Though upon further pressuring they did profess a belief in God but a dissatisfaction with the church, and prefers to worship in their own way. That being said, the subject also expressed firm belief in Slavic, pre-Christian mythology, stating that 'there are far older forces at play than God.' To which they seemed distressed to be made to admit openly. Pertaining to the question about extraterrestrial beings, the subject states 'If there are things that lurk the forests that we do not yet know anything of, it is probably safe to say the same about the rest of the universe.'"

Can you be more specific regarding his beliefs? "He is open to change" is a bit vague. Try saying things like "he is fascinated with the existence of aliens" or "believes that all religions point to one god" or something like that. His interest in Eastern beliefs could play a big part in this. Also inject personality into it - is he cynical? Patriotic? Foul-tempered? CSes are supposed to be descriptive, after all.
Also go into more detail with his background. I could certainly see how a life in an orphanage could make or break you, but elaborate a little. Did he get into lots of fights with his peers? Was he rebellious or actively questioned authority? It is also worth mentioning that orphanages back then (and even now) were potential hotbeds of abuse, whether it be physical, verbal, sexual, etc.
Lastly, I'd encourage you to fix up your English syntax a little - there are many misspelled words in your CS ('apecept' twice in a row?). I'm not that strict with posting requirements, but at the very least make your writing easy to read.

In No. 9 ACS, subject expressed a quality described by himself and others as ‘grit’, a perceived phenomenon manifesting by courage and diligence despite failures and setbacks. Noted as a potentially useful trait in the Turin project.
Structured evaluation results are as follows:
1.1 Subject expressed belonging to the Methodist denomination of the Protestant division of Christianity. When questioned about existence of extraterrestrials, subject answered, quote, “Would be boring if there was nothing out there.” When questioned about the vastness of space, subject shrugged and gave no verbal answer. Lastly, the question on the significance of the Human race was met with a question of whether the question could be answered without other extraterrestrials or a sense of scale to compare to.

Overall, the subject expressed the inherent qualities essential for recommendation for the Turin project. The presence of ‘grit’, this inherent courage, aligns with the qualities required for the project, and demonstrates acceptable mental fortitude. The structured evaluation results showed a slightly above average academic understanding, and a healthy ability to reason and be open to the presence of things outside the sphere of comfort.

How many here have seen the Dunkirk by Christopher Nolan? I must say it's audio and sound effects really was really well done, and especially when I saw it in the cinema, the Stukas really creeped me out.
