Let's define "everyone that's posted in this thread" as a group. Who among us is the leader?

How are individual differences a prerequisite for leadership? If so, what if someone is so different from others that they don't submit to proposed hierarchies, or refuse to be elevated within them?

I wouldn't say they're a prerequisite, they just lead to it. If one person ends up being a leader while others did not, clearly that person had some trait or another which led to that outcome (and/or the other people were lacking in some certain personality trait). And sure you could have weird individuals who try to opt out or whatever. It doesn't even have to be leadership in a formal institution, just think about doing group work for a school project. This is work among peers and often times one person, or a couple of people, will end up taking a more assertive role in delegating tasks, just do to having more pro-active personalities.

@catchamber I mean yeah it would be an interesting show but for some reason I think you're equating Olympic Medals of a sports star to someone holding physical strength, food resources, water, living spaces...if one were to have the power over these, you can imagine the power they can have over lives. That's a bit more higher up on the scale than medals so I don't quite get the comparison. Then again, I really lost you on this from the first post so here I am still not getting any of it.

It's nothing to do with actual ability, though that might be a factor sometimes. It's entirely possible to have someone who is less competent but more extroverted leading people who might be more competent if they stepped up, but are too anxious to do so.

So a leader has to have the power of life and death now?

Apparently we do not need that sort of structure and organization to have any form of functional conversation or expectation, here or greater things, so your post is now moot. Or if I am even remotely understanding any of the still as of yet ongoing discussion. However, there are other interesting things abounding, namely the real reason Hawaii had an Emergency Alert System warning of an incoming missile.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity the fact that you responded to my satirical leadership claim and not the other two's is telling of my original assertions about you, but please carry on.

Yes, because you know just how much I enjoy going round and round with pointless, groundless, absurdist conversation contrary to all understandings of regularly measurable facts, @Dynamo Frokane. You know those are my favorite. Do continue to hold your irrational grudge though, I am sure that will see you far.

Here I try to think of a good topic to discuss but most of what goes on in the news nowadays is stuff that any sane person can say is right or wrong.

Kinda problematic.

Now then, to be perfectly reasonable. There's plenty of benefits to blind prejudice, especially those to act respectfully, not questioning your thoughts and behavior, while keeping yourself in a bubble.

To save the overly long statement I was currently writing. Could you clarify exactly what you mean by that?

Trump stuff, people dying of disease, snow storms. Nothing really controversial or debatable, even if all three are sad.

So simply stating that it's a predictable newsweek then? Not sure what's problematic about that. (Or how it exactly relates to right or wrong. But, we can discuss those things tomorrow, when I'm awake. :P)

You know what they say. No news is good news. ;3
