When Celes followed Spruce down the trap door and Spruce got attacked, she growl a bit at this, looking at the eyes.
"Why you little... " she said before quickly moving forwards. When she saw what attacked, she gave a menacing smile.
"A dragon and a dark type... oh god you will wish to NOT have done that at all..." she says before then going and using moonblast on the Hydreigon. Knowing his typing... either he would end up seriously hurt... knocked out... or flying away with his tail under his legs. One thing for sure, he probably will NOT like what will happen here. That... and with what she heard some fairy type did to Hydreigon's and their evolution line, it would be enough for some of them to have nightmares about fairies, like how it would be for dragons and flying type against ice types sometimes. She just hoped that this one won't be in the way for too long.

Eralion looked at the high jump kick that was coming his way.. god that was going to hurt... but he knew full well that was going to happen here...
"Wrong move... bastard..." he said before getting hit hard as he was knocked back a bit. It was then that counter activated. With that, Eralion quickly moved and with a very powerful punch with the energy of counter, blasted the medicham right into a wall, dealing serious damage to the pokemon, even knocking him out in one hit. Eralion just stood there, breathing deeply as he regains some energy.
"God that hurt... geez... Lucky I trained my defense as much as I could..." he then said, shaking his hand a bit.
"Good old teacher's teaching... finally paid off here." he says as he relax.
"Didn't expect counter I am guessing." he adds as he look at the medicham... who left a clear impression of his body into the wall. That... must have hurt like heck for him.

[Josh]
Josh tried to ignore the Arcanine's ramblings. He wasn't sure if 'Barry' was real or just someone the Arcanine made up, but it was clear that he was insane. Without warning, the Arcanine dashed towards him, completely catching Josh off guard. Fortunately for him, though, Anthony managed to get in the way, successfully countering the attack and sending the Arcanine flying into a nearby wall. Though the insane ramblings lasted a few more seconds, they were quickly silenced when Kamina pinned the Arcanine to the wall.

With the Arcanine under control, Josh turned towards the only enemy that remained - the Graveler. It began rolling, picking up momentum until it finally headed toward Kamina, who seemed to be too busy with the Arcanine to notice. Thinking quickly, Josh hit the Graveller head-on with a Hydro Pump. He was hoping to stop the Rollout in its tracks, or at the very least slow it down.

[Dexter]
The trapdoor slammed shut behind them, plunging the room into total darkness. They began to move forward, and as soon as they entered the next room, attacks started flying back and forth. Dexter couldn't tell exactly how many enemies were in there, but it was at least three. Spruce requested that someone light up the room, and Dexter felt Nina nudge him, whispering "That's your cue."

"I know, Nina. I'm not a fucking idiot." Dexter growled under his breath. Facing towards the three pairs of glowing eyes, he took a deep breath and blew a continuous stream of flame towards them. He didn't really care whether or not he hit them. His main goal was just to reveal them, and let his teammates could take care of the rest. After stopping for a moment to take another breath, he did it again. He knew he couldn't keep doing this the entire time, though. He was already starting to feel a little light-headed. "There's gotta be a better way of doing this. I want to kick some asses too, you know."

"Ah crap, crap, crap..." For what felt like ages, the light beams scattered off the ceiling and blinded a couple of remaining Pokemon. It would've been an impressive display had my team struggled and I actually helped, instead of cursing myself repeatedly behind a series of ice walls. A lot of my time was spent watching the fighting through glassy ice, cutting corners to the nearest curvature, and accounting for various coefficients being changed through the zero temperatures of the place (Celsius anyway, not Fahrenheit). Of course ultimately you can't use your analytical ability to try to beat your limit of spatial dimensions and time between things, so I ended up drifting towards a curb-stomp battle. The dungeon Pokemon were as viciously beaten as I had been with a certain Zubat, which seemed to have a touch of irony. Not as thrashed as me right now, but at least I wasn't that Arcanine or Goodra on that day. One was still putting up a fight between rocking Pokemon and hard walls, the other became Newton's First and Second laws.

Rebecca jumped at the sight of the enemy finally making an appearance. She calmed down and readied for battle, preparing to use Dazzling Gleam… And…

It failed.

She stopped. How could it go wrong? She knew the attack, right? She remembered to use the TM earlier, right? She, uhhh…

She totally forgot to use the TM earlier. Right...

The Ralts cursed, took an attack that sent the small psychic sailing backwards, got up, cursed again, and dug around for a bit before she withdrew the disc from her bag and tried to figure out what she was looking at in the sparse, sporadic lighting. Was she supposed to put it in some sort of player? Was she supposed to read it in a really dramatic voice? Was she supposed to press it up against her forehead and just sort of psychically download it? Was she supposed to eat it? She quickly gave up and shoved the disc back in her bag. She used Disarming Voice, the magical soundwaves striking out even at what she couldn’t see herself. Dexter mentioned that there had to be some better way of lighting the place up. She completely agreed, distracting herself from her own failure by trying to think of a solution.

“Right!” Rebecca said, coming up with a plan before looking over to the Snivy. “Hey, Spruce, Right? Can you make vines or leaves or sticks or anything else combustible? We need a torch or some extra fires or something!”

The arcanine ended up pinned to the wall by Kamina, and the graveler stopped its attack when Josh started using hydro pump on it, but before it could try a different attack, the water surrounding the graveler just froze, making it impossible for the rock-type to move, let alone attack. That shouldn't have happened... the water's moving really fast, right? It shouldn't be that easy to freeze... I thought as I looked at the battlefield. Things were certainly in our favor, their team had a missing goodra, a frozen graveler, and a pinned arcanine, while we haven't even been touched, yet. The arcanine, being the only one who can even remotely think about attacking, decided to try to bite Kamina, asking "Hey, Kyle... why do you taste like fish? Aw, I don't care, I LOVE fish! ALL THE MORE REASON TO EAT YOU!" He then laughed, and continued biting the gyrados who he saw as... one of his old friends, I'm assuming. I then made my way over to the arcanine, but I ended up slipping, and worse, I noticed the place grow colder for some reason... even through that, I managed to use muddy water on the arcanine, hitting a weakness, and hopefully freezing him... I couldn't tell, though, because I was too concerned with myself, given the temperature change.

[Spruce]

The place lit up for a bit, revealing that at least one of our attackers was a hydreigon. That revelation made Celes smile really wide before unleashing moonblast in that dragon's general direction. At first, I was uncertain that it hit, but then I heard something whining and something flying away from us, so, perhaps that was why. Shortly after that, Rebecca asked if I could create some twigs or vines to provide some light, and I responded with "Happily, Rebecca," and did just that, creating vines using my vine whip move, but never actually using them to attack. After that, I took an attack from the shadows that I just couldn't quite place, and Nina seemed to use that flash tackle move, again, revealing an umbreon for just a brief moment, but missing said umbreon... somehow. How did she miss? She's the only one who can see our enemies, right? I thought as I backed away from the edge of the shadows, not wanting to take any more hits from unknown enemies. The candle kept burning, and continued providing our only light in this odd place... it almost looked like somewhere where pokemon would work, but who could, or would work in these conditions? I looked over to the strange bronzor who never gave me his name, and noticed that he was using iron defense for some reason... maybe he didn't have too many attacking options at the moment, given his typing, it wouldn't surprise me.

[Bonnie]

Tini seemed more than ready to hug me, and then he seemed to turn his attention towards Eralion just as he took the high jump kick in the face, and basically threw the offending pokemon into a wall with a counter attack. My jaw almost hit the floor with that, and I managed to say "W-wow... that was... I mean, I know counter can be powerful, but THAT powerful?" once Tini finally got off of me, I led the team further onward, to a part of the cave that seemed to lead outside. Apparently, we were higher up than I thought we were, since I could see quite a ways ahead from the ledge. I decided not to stay there for very long, and instead of getting some light and fresh air, I headed right back into the darkness of the cave... only for it to somehow close tight RIGHT behind me, cutting me off from the rest of my own team. I panicked, without them around, I was useless, and hopeless against whatever the dungeon decided to throw my way next, and to make things worse, I heard some sort of earthquake from outside. No... th-they can't be... they didn't fall off, right? RIGHT!? I thought as I tried my best to move the door, just so I could see, but... it was hopeless. I couldn't move it, and I couldn't break it, not even with a well-aimed jump kick. It took me a while before I actually got back up, and kept heading forward... hoping that I might see my friends, again if I do so.

[Nina]

"Er... right, sorry about that, Dex," I quickly said in response to Dexter pointing out that he has a brain, too. I then overheard Rebecca asking if Spruce could do something about the lighting in the area... and heard something whine as it flew away from the battlefield. I didn't catch what made it do that, but clearly they were afraid of someone on our team. Good, one less enemy to deal with. I thought as I noticed something reach out from the shadows and attack Spruce. "Oh, no you don't," I muttered as I used another flash tackle, rushing right through the shadows, and aiming right for an umbreon... though... I ended up hitting some sort of shield, instead, unfortunately. The shield knocked me back into the light, and I grumbled as I got back to my feet. "Stupid... protect... hate that move..." I commented through the grumbling. I then noticed a couple sets of eyes get closer to the light, probably just so they could keep attacking us, and I noticed Spruce fall back, a bit in response to that. What to do, what to do...? I thought as I looked around for anything that might help us. Sure, the vines that somehow appeared might be nice, but I wasn't sure if there was anything in the room that we might use against our enemies. Spruce then looked up for some reason, and I realized that I had no idea where our client was, and looked up, as well, just to see him using iron defense just so he could... maybe... take an attack or two. Must be hard being a psychic type in a place like this... I noted about that situation.

Kamina

Being bit sucked. Kamina came to that realatasation as the strange Arcanie sunk it's teeth into him. However before he could smack him off, he let go and started babbling again before biting into him again. Kamina was just about to attack him, when the other Fire Type was sprayed with strange looking water and become frozen solid. With him no longer applying pressure, Kamina was able to pull himself loose. Looking over at the source of the strange water, he saw a shivering Anthony. Without bothering to think about it, he coiled his body around him "just hang on, I'll get you warmed up"

---
Tini

As Tini and his friends made their way into the cave, walls fell from the sky, separating them. Tini was behind Eralion, so he wasn't sure if Bonnie and Eralion were together or not. Before he could call out to them, the ground gave way beneath him and he fell. When he hit the ground, everything went dark...

Tini awoke in a strange room. The walls, floor, and roof all seem to be giant blue cushions. It was completely empty, except for a strange creature sitting at a table in the middle. "Welcome, to the Velvet Room. My, such a curious guest this time, I don't think I've seen a creature like you before."

"Um...where am I" Tini asked

"As I said before; this is the Velvet Room. It is a place between dream and reality, mind and matter"

"...I don't get it"

The strange being chuckled "you will, in time. Oh, where are my manners? My name is Igor, and I will serve as a guide of sorts on your journey back to your friends.

Celes moved forwards as the hydreigon whined and ran away right now.
"That it... run you scaredy cat!" she then said, before moving forwards, listening, seeing how dark this place was. This was bad... for the others, cause they could not actually see what they would attack. That is until the ralt asked Spruce for some twigs. It was then that the umbreon attacked Spruce and that nidoran used some kind of weird... kind of tackle? She didn't notice it before... but that move seemed oddly... familiar. She looked at her before looking at the umbreon, thinking.
"Know what.... I guess I should just use this..." she then said, before going and chains of light, but keeping them there, waiting for the protect to wear off before going to strike hard.
"Attacking people like that... your a shameful example of the eeveelution line." she then says right to the Umbreon, annoyed right now.

Eralion moved to go outside, looking up at the sky after this, retaking his energy. He looked for a bit and breath deeply.
"Fresh air... ahhh.." he says.. before seeing Bonnie go and head back in the cave and the cave closing behind her.
"BONNIE!" He yelled, before goign and trying to go and open the cave with no success... and the ground then giving in. He quickly tried to hold on, grabbing to a ledge, but then starting to slide.
"No no no no.." he says before he slipped and then went into a ball shape and rolled quickly down the mountain. This was going to hurt. When he got doing, he was groaning deeply in pain right now.
"Uuuuuughhhhh..." he said, very weak right now, trying to stay awake, his vision very blurry right now.

Something strange was definitely going on. Josh didn't notice the temperature drop at first, but once their water attacks began freezing their opponents to the ground, it became obvious that something wasn't right. It wasn't long before he began shivering. Maybe it was just in his head, but it seemed like it was getting colder and colder. "O-okay. This isn't n-normal" He was struggling to get the words out of his mouth. "Th-this is K-kyurem's doing, i-isn't it?" He turned to Reshiram. If anyone knew what was causing this, it would be him.

[Dexter]
Lighting up Spruce's vines gave them a fair bit more light. They could see two of their opponents, but Dexter could hear one of them trying to get away. It may have just been a coward, but for all he knew it could be going to get backup. He gave chase, spewing a few flames towards where he thought it went, but it was long gone by then. "Fuck, he's gonna come back with more of 'em now."

There was nothing he could do about the one who escaped now. Besides, the other two were still in the fight. There wasn't much he could do to the Hydreigon, so he rushed over to the Umbreon. He began to blow flames at it, completely unaware that it had just used Protect. Of course, because of that, it did absolutely nothing. Dexter growled, and began circling around his target. Any minute now, he'd have a chance to strike.

Rebecca watched as the battle raged on, occasionally throwing in the odd use of Disarming Voice here and there. It was a bit inconvenient; she couldn’t keep up the Lucky Chant while she was using her voice to attack the enemy. At least everyone could see now, though it wasn’t too different to the Ralts with her hair always blocking her vision anyways...

She watched as Celes drove away a Hydreigon, and Dexter noted that he was falling back to get help. She could teleport after him… Probably a bad idea, though. She didn't feel quite tanky enough to go waddling behind enemy lines. Though they apparently had the foresight to tank some hits using Protect. She looked back at that Bronzor as he kept using Iron Defense, maybe he could help while the fur hadn’t quite hit the fan yet.

“Hey,” Rebecca said over her shoulder. “So that TM you gave me, right? Would you mind giving me a quick refresher on how I use it?” She focused back on the path ahead, hoping not to catch any stray hits while she was distracted.

*Okay, okay, I'm through...* Somehow I was catching breath in my mind, having cut many corners to get the fight (somewhat literally, given the chipping on my magnets). As I floated towards the ruckus that seemed so very close to ending, Anthony narrowly slid past like some misplaced dancer on ice. I would've 'smirked' if it weren't for the increasingly cold current running through the cave, getting a bit annoyed as Anthony was just out of reach of my magnet. Not even a muttering Kyreum seemed able to break the cold spell, a seething glare which seemed stab right through the frozen Graveler (obviously not literally). I could probably do with sub-zero temperatures but the same couldn't be said to my other party members, and there was suddenly a renewed urgency which seemed to fade a bit since the village/town.

With that said, by the time I thought of an attack, we had two wild Pokemon left to lie belly first by each other's feet/floating bodies/whatever, much to my chargin. "Alright, I know I'm late, but admittedly that was a rather anti-climactic fight." I wasn't really talking or moaning to anyone in particular but I was still bemused at how easy the fight was, given I wasn't even needed for most of it. Considering only a small chunk of fish meat was missing and Anthony became a hockey puck, things were in fact pretty good. Well, aside from the light coating of frost, which distinctively stood out from the cave's natural ice slopes like some sort of moss. "Are we... close, Kyreum? Surely that wasn't the elite guard." A hint of trepidation stood out in my voice, having spotted Josh suffering from early-onset hypothermia.

The moment Kamina coiled around me, I warmed up. "Th-thanks... I don't know what I would have done without you on this mission," I replied to the fire-type fish pokemon. After that, a thought occurred Wait... what if Spruce never wanted to help me... we wouldn't have Kamina, and I would have been burned in the bronze tower, and frozen here... and worse, I'd have to fight a legendary while burned, with half of the team that I fought him with here. I was lost in my thoughts as Josh made his way towards me, and I was reminded of Matt for a moment, thinking it odd that he just seemed to disappear, but maybe he just felt like he didn't need to be around since Josh learned to use his psychic powers to move around on land. Josh asked Reshiram if this was Kyurem's doing, and he nodded, adding "It shouldn't be too much farther, now, but... Miles is right, that wasn't his elite guard... far from it, they were just random pokemon lost in the maze," Once I felt warm enough, I asked Kamina "Kamina... do you think you could help out Josh? He seems to be in pretty bad shape, too," I then heard Miles say something about this being an anti-climatic fight, and I nodded before finally moving forwards, again, and as I continued making my way through the maze, I saw another path that led upwards, though, thankfully, this one's entrance was big enough for Reshiram to fit through without him getting poisoned, and I thought about how much that may be hurting him, by now, and I recalled the fact that I couldn't help him, at all, given that I had no items at the moment. "Hang in there, Reshiram," I said to him in an encouraging tone, hoping that might help, somehow.

[Spruce]

The fire obviously lit up the entire room, revealing a sneasel, and an umbreon, though at this point, only one of those two were actually hidden, and much to my annoyance, I noticed the umbreon using wish on, I assume, all of his allies. The sneasel, on the other hand, seemed to try its best to get around the ring of flames that surrounded our party at the moment, but couldn't... they then tried to use some sort of ice move, but the fire evaporated the ice before it could do anything to us, or it. "Thanks, Dex!" I heard Nina respond before she just jumped over the flames to attack the sneasel with a double kick, dealing serious damage to the ice type, but not enough to knock it out. I then thought for a moment... and ended up using void whip, but, instead of making it appear from me, I made it appear next to the sneasel, and just finish it off, leaving just the umbreon. "I don't think he's actually going to attack us... something tells me his moveset is geared towards just sitting there, and absorbing damage, let's just go," I pointed out as I overheard the bronzor state "Oh... you don't know how to use them? I assumed everyone did, hold on..." he then put the TM on Rebecca's head, and pressed some sort of button on it with his psychic powers... a bright light surrounded her for a moment, and for some reason, that same light surrounded Nina...? Wait, what? "Huh... usually, it doesn't shine quite so brightly..." the bronzor commented, only further adding to my confusion.

[Bonnie]

It's... it's going to be okay... you'll find your friends before you even get into a fight. There's no need to worry, it's going to be okay... I kept having to tell myself as I walked through the cold, damp, dark caves that smelled of sweat due to the sheer number of fighting types in the area. The only move I really had that would do anything was Jump Kick, and I can't keep relying on that, since it has a nasty habit of damaging me when I miss, or, rather, WHEN I miss, since it was only a matter of time, at this point. The path forked after a bit, and I couldn't figure out which one might be the correct path, but, after a bit of thinking, I chose the left path. I was wrong, and was immediately greeted by some pokemon throwing a geodude at me. Thinking quickly, I decided to use Jump Kick on the geodude to try to send it flying back, and to my surprise, somehow, I actually hit it, and sent it flying backwards into a nearby throh, who was clearly the one who threw it at me in the first place. If he wasn't mad at me before, he sure was, now. The throh ran to me, rage in his eyes, and he tried to use one of his grappling techniques on me, but I jumped out of the way just in time, and started to run further down the path, hoping to find something to help me out.

[Nina]

The flames lit up the entire room, and revealed two pokemon, a sneasel, and an umbreon, and I just remembered that I had double kick... sure, it was a weak move, but it was going to be REALLY effective against that ice type, who seemed to be desperately trying to attack us with some move or another, with the flames getting in the way, thankfully. After thanking Dex for the light, and the protective fire wall, I decided to show off a bit, and I jumped over the flames to use double kick on the surprised sneasel, who took a ton of damage from what seemed to me like rather simple kicks to the chest and face... but, unfortunately, it was still conscious. Spruce aimed to fix that by making a weird, grey vine appear from the ground and attack the sneasel, dealing at least enough damage to knock it out after being weakened. I watched as the umbreon used wish on... well, just itself, now, and decided to just jump back to our side of the flames, just to make it harder for the thing to attack me when it finally felt like attacking. Spruce then just said for us to move on, that the umbreon won't attack us, and I was going to point out that he could call for reinforcements, or something if we leave him alone, but a bright light surrounded me, and I found myself unable to speak as my body changed... even if only slightly. Once that was over, I took a look at myself, and seemed pretty confused as it wasn't the body I was used to seeing, at all.

Celes looked as the sneasel was beat up by Nina and Spruce and the umbreon was left right there, alone, using wish on himself. She looked at him as Spruce said that he could not do anything to the group. Well... it was truth that he couldn't do much to her considering all this. She just move forwards, before seeing Nina evolve. She smiled softly at her.
"Hey.. congratulation on evolving." she says to her, before turning to the umbreon, thinking. He could end up trying to get help... so there is one thing she had in mind. She moved forwards towards him, a decided step as she look at him right in the eyes.
"Listen here buddy... you call for help or anything... and I will make sure to have your fur burned up, your tail cut into tiny pieces.... your ears ripped away from your head... and leave you bleeding to death... got that?!" she says in a very menacing voice to him, looking at him right in the eyes as the umbreon gulp before suddenly using toxic.. That... was when Celes snapped and used her moonblast, full force and blasting him right at the wall, actually leaving an indentation of a umbreon onto the wall. She then took a pecha berry out of her bag and ate it and rejoined the group.
"Freaken creep... lucky I don't want to get messy..." she said.

Eralion groaned in pain before slowly getting up, having taken some time to get his energy back after that god forsaken fall that just happened. Why god did that even happen there. He had no idea where everyone was right now. And he was alone... alone... like when he used to be when he traveled to get to the guild. Alone like his times where he meditated and perfected his counter move... He just moved forwards right now, advancing steadily forwards, listening to his environment. The wind breezing near him with the fresh mountain air and the cold nip of this. He kept moving forwards before stopping, having heard some quick footsteps coming his way. He stood there before using counter rapidly and turning around, only to be hit hard by a sawk... who did not see the counter coming. Eralion gave the thing a creepy smile before punching him full force, actually launching him far backwards as Eralion breath deeply, taking a bit of time as the sawk seemed already beat up a bit from this. Both of them looked at each other, in battle position, but none of thme moved right now, having a standoff to see who would move first.. Both of them actually ready to counter the other right now. The sawk then moved rapidly and tried to use a karate chop on Eralion when the counter was off. Eralion took the hit, but then hit back with a large meteor mash it, making the sawk tumble down backwards before both of them rushed at each other, hitting each other with moves constantly before the sawk fell down and was KO with a well placed counter. Eralion then just stood there and breath deeply before sitting down and resting just a bit and then getting up. God that guy was tough.. and if there were more of them, this might be an issue.

Kamina

With Anthony taken care of, Kamina moved on to Josh (just as Anthony suggested). It only took a single glance to tell Kamina that the smaller Water Type was cold. Not just a little chilly, but really cold. It was a feeling that he had never really felt before, as before becoming part Fire Type, Kamina had lived in a very warm area. And after his rebirth...well...he was Water and Fire. That wasn't a combination that got cold very easily. And as far as he could tell, his new Flying Type didn't make the cold any more of a problem (although he never really went to any cold places before he evolved...so maybe it did make a difference). "Just hang in there" he told Josh, as he lightly coiled around him "you're going to be just fine"

"Come on guys lets move, lest we freeze in here. We almost can't catch our breath anymore." With a brief respite with Kamina giving a group hug for Anthony and the others - who were unfortunately weak to the bitter coldness and ice - eventually we'd have to move towards the darkening depths of the ice cave, out of the maze thankfully. As the ice lessened and the cave's features took prominence, ambient light which bounced internally and provided a decently bright glow seemed to dim in corners and pits of ice. The path seemed to take an subtly upwards turn, where stone protruded and disrupted the careful flow of ice, which look as if cascaded and frozen mid-air. Perhaps ominously the further ahead we saw, the more purple glow seemed to vein and tint the ice, almost as if we were stepping into an alien arctic. It didn't help there were several branching paths ahead of us and around the other exits of the maze, visible through the clear chiseled walls. None of them seemed very friendly to head into, most of them harshly dim and devoid of light, aside from the purple glow on the walls.

Wait, flow... there's a pattern of flow in the ice, like a river. Why would would Kyreum go out of his way to make ice 'flow'? Wouldn't it look like simple blots? It only just occurred to me that this cave might've had a freshwater system, and we just crossed through the former underground lake. A maddened legendary Pokemon wouldn't be patient enough to form walls of ice if he could just dig it out of a lake... In fact, it's likely Kyreum would've tried to freeze the largest deposit of water around here. An upwards path here must lead to wherever he's hiding, but all the branches seemed identical with their flash-frozen rivers. "Hey, Josh, anyone?" I shouted out for the rest of the party, Reshiram somewhat interested as he raised an eyebrow at me. "This is silly, but can anyone... feel the largest amount of ice and the path we'd have to take? This entire cave might be an underground water system, and up ahead is a bunch of frozen rivers that might come from where Reshiram is residing. Well, assuming these rivers come from the largest lake..." I was kinda going out on a limb though, tilting my head and resigning slightly. I was luckily unaffected by the ice but the same couldn't be said for say Reshiram and Josh, and so we'd have to try something at least.

Rebecca’s eyes widened as the Bronzor activated the disc. It was like… it was like all the world’s knowledge of fab was being downloaded into her brain! Like a certain part of herself had found a new sense of clarity and direction. The Ralts spun a full 360 degrees and struck a pose.

“DAZZLING GLEAM!” She cried, pointing forwards. Sparkles turned into a full-on flash of light that illuminated the area for a split second before fading again. Then Rebecca lost her balance, falling on her side. Maybe she still had to get the hang of this…

“Oh!” Rebecca said as she got up off the cold floor. “Nina! You evolved?! How’s it feel? I always wanted to do that!” wait... shouldn't Nina look taller now? Rebecca took a good look at herself... yeah, she was a Kirlia now. Which would probably be a lot cooler if she also didn't feel like an idiot.

"Wait," Rebecca said, red in the face. "Nevermind..." she let out a little laugh, already starting to get over it.

Riddles Cold as Ice

The nearly-frozen Dragalge felt a rush of warmth as Kamina coiled around him. It was a good thing he did, too. The cold temperatures were really starting to take their toll on him. "Thanks, Kamina." He said. He'd stopped shivering at this point, and he could talk without stuttering again. He had a feeling that it would only get colder as they got closer to Kyurem's lair, though. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to handle it, even with Kamina there to warm him up.

Miles asked if anyone could sense the largest amount of ice in the cave. Josh hadn't noticed until now, but after Miles pointed it out, he could see patterns that suggested an underground river was there before the cave was frozen. "That could help us find Kyurem faster." He said. "I'm afraid I don't have that ability, but if your theory is correct, we should be able to find him by simply heading upstream."

[Dexter]
The moment Rebecca used the TM, both her and Nina were enveloped in light. When it faded, they'd been completely transformed. Through some strange coincidence, both of them evolved at the exact time Rebecca used that TM. "Well, look at you two. You aren't tiny anymore." Dexter teased. "I gotta get my paws on a Fire Stone sometime soon. I'm not used to you two being the same size as me."

The only one left was the Umbreon, who most likely wouldn't attack them. Spruce pointed out that staying there to fight him would be pointless. What he said didn't stop Celes, though. She described to the Umbreon in graphic detail what she'd do to him if he went for help, before blasting him into the wall hard enough to leave a crater. "Okay, I don't think he's gonna fuck with us after that." Dexter said. "Besides, we've already got one guy running for help. They probably know we're here by now."

Miles brought up a pretty good point while Kamina uncoiled himself, and coiled himself around Josh, who desperately needed the warmth, given that he just gave up his water typing to evolve. "Miles... do you think you could lead us for a while? I mean, I don't have any idea where this might be, even though I'm looking right at this river, but you apparently know," I asked him, as I slid, quite literally, behind him, almost losing whatever balance I had in the process of just moving. I then looked around this place, Reshiram seemed to be busy eating something, hopefully, it was a pecha berry, and Kamina, who was helping someone warm up, still had a chunk of flesh just missing from where that insane arcanine bit him... I would have pointed that out, but I didn't feel like it would be a good idea to just tell him. I then looked down at the frozen water, and noticed the weird... purple veins in them. How didn't I notice that before? They were clearly visible, right? I shivered again, as another chill ran down my body, and I was reminded how my water moves literally turned to ice here... they've never done that before, have they? While I was looking around, I noticed a few apples just lying around on the ground, probably frozen, as well. I am hungry, but... should I really do this? Just... eat an apple off of a dungeon floor? Maybe we're close enough to the end of this, and it won't matter... or... maybe we'll just starve before we get there... I thought to myself, weighing my options involving the red fruit.

[Bonnie]

I kept running down the path, but the only thing I found was another throh... wait, no, it was the same one. I muttered a swear under my breath and tried to find some way out of this... I then remembered something, these fighting types were usually male, right? The throh took a few steps towards me, and assumed some sort of fighting stance, probably expecting me to do the same, but I just used attract, instead, distracting him, and giving me just enough time to get away from him. Whew... that was close, and, at least this time, if I get a letter from some random throh, I'll know why. I thought as I made my way onward, only to find a chasm, with a path that continued on the other side... and with walls that had hearts etched into them for some reason. I stopped to try to figure out what they might want me to do... and then I heard someone approach. The lovestruck throh was still chasing after me for some reason, and before I could say anything, he picked me up, and just threw me across the chasm. I screamed the entire way there, and my mind raced with thoughts like Wait, what? WHY!? and Why did he do that? until I made it to the other side... only to hit my head on the opposite wall. I groaned as I got up, and I started limping along the only path available, right now.

[Nina]

I was completely taken by surprise with this... just... evolution, from nowhere. Of course, Rebecca pointed it out, and she seemed to evolve, too. I would have said something about that, but she seems to have gotten it. Dexter then teased us about no longer being smaller than him, and I chuckled at that as we moved ahead. "Huh... this place looks like one of those 'lab' things I heard about... apparently, humans used to them to understand the world, or something," Spruce chimed in as we moved along the narrow hallway that was in front of us, and our client responded with "Yes, yes... our group was simply fascinated with the humans... apparently, they found a way to never become wild, if that makes sense. We actually built this place based off of a lab we saw in some jungle, somewhere," I was going to point out that nobody's ever seen a human, before, but I didn't want to burst anyone's bubble, so I just grumbled to myself about it. I then looked at the door... made of that same kind of white metal that was everywhere, and I tried to open it the same way I would any door, but it just didn't budge. I then looked towards the client, who knew this place, and he still seemed to be chatting to Spruce about labs, and humans. I had to clear my throat just to get his attention, and once I did, he asked "Hm?" I then looked at the door, and he said "Ah, I see..." He then took a weird-looking card, and fed it to a complex-looking machine, which gave his card back, and opened the door. "The... humans loved doors like this, I promise," he said when he noted my annoyance with the door... his promise didn't change anything, so I just went through the door, annoyed.

[Spruce]

Things were going great in this weird, dark lab. We defeated a huge group of enemy pokemon, and two of our teammates evolved. "Congrats, you two!" I said to them, but... I wasn't sure if either of them actually heard me. I then took a close look, and remembered what Vine used to tell me about human buildings... that odd device on the wall to my left looked like how he described a 'computer', except for the fact that it was giant, and there seemed to be graphs and numbers on the wall opposite to it... of course, the graphs and numbers were almost completely burned thanks to our strategy. Once we moved on, it only started to look more and more like how Vine told me a lab looked. "Huh... this place looks like one of those 'lab' things I heard about... apparently, humans used to them to understand the world, or something," I pointed out to the group, with the bronzor responding with "Yes, yes... our group was simply fascinated with the humans... apparently, they found a way to never become wild, if that makes sense. We actually built this place based off of a lab we saw in some jungle, somewhere," that second part, about humans never becoming wild, caught my attention, and I asked "Why do you think that is?" the bronzor did his best imitation of a shrug, and said "We were about to find out, but well... you know... I quit, and found out what they were REALLY up to, here," I simply had to ask what he meant by that, but we were interrupted by Nina clearing her throat... apparently, she couldn't get through the door, which prompted the bronzor to use what Vine told me was a 'card key' to open it. We then found ourselves in another dark room, except, this time, there seemed to be a table with chemicals on it... not something I want fire anywhere NEAR, all things considered.

Celes moved forwards right now, looking around the place before hearing about what Spruce and the Bronzon we talking about. Humans that used to be in places like these... labs. It was then that she heard the last part of what the bronzon said, about them not going wild at all. She just stood there a second thinking.
"Maybe their minds were different then ours and they had something protecting them from being wild?" she said, throwing a theory up right there as she moved forwards before the bronzon opened the door that was blocking their path with a strange card. She looked at it as the door opened.
"I heard they loved technology a lot, but this..." she says as she moves forwards, seeing also the vials of chemical, with all the metal all around. She just could not stop but give a shiver here. Those chemicals would probably be poisonous, and with all the metal around, she didn't feel that comfortable in this place, for good reasons.
"I hope we can keep going." she then said, moving forwards carefully.

Eralion kept moving forwards, looking around the mountain, thinking a bit. How will he be able to find the others, that was one question that went in his mind. The problem he had right now was that he had no idea where exactly he was and where the others were. He moved forwards, before arriving at a large dead end, the road being broken where he was. He sighed, looking around a bit before looking back, not seeing any pokemons right now. Thank god for that. He then though a bit. Maybe he should deal with this in another way. He looked at the sharp slope to his right, thinking before having an idea and then using karate chop to make some slots for him as he goes and start climbing up. He kept doing that before climbing unto a ledge where he arrived face to face with a medicham...
"Aww crap..." he said before the pokemon suddenly used high jump kick... before Eralion grabbed the kick and moved it to the side... with the medicham just falling down the mountain right there. He stares at it fall as it then grabs onto a ledge further down.
"You got to be kidding me." Eralion then said before moving rapidly, going to escape and runnning. Unfortunately the medicham was quick and climbed fast. It then got to him... only for him to use counter right there and literally throwing the medicham back down the mountain, which it grabbed a ledge again. This was bad. Eralion couldn't keep going with counter.... so how would he be able to deal with that guy. Then he got an idea. As the medicham started to climb rapidly, Eralion used meteor mash onto the ground, making rocks start to fall onto the unfortunate medicham, who took a couple of rocks in the face before just giving up its chase before it ended up knocked out. Eralion just breath deeply afterwards, getting back his energy. If he ended up with another god dang pokemon in his face that tries to hit him hard, he might just grab the pokemon and literally throw it down the mountain with great strength.

Kamina

'Frozen rivers?'

What Miles said caught Kamina's attention fast "Miles, are you suggesting that Kyreum is using the rivers to spread this ice so far?" Now that he thought about it, the idea actually made sense "I'm not an expert on the Ice Type by any means...but it would explain a few things. Keeping this much solid mass frozen doesn't sound like it would be easy. I had just assumed that it was possible due to the powers of a Legendary...but if the rivers are the key, then that makes a lot more sense. I'd imagine that fresh water is a lot easier to freeze and keep frozen then, say, a rock. So freezing all the water and using it as a base to extend the cold from makes sense." Kamina then preformed a limbless shrug "or, I could be completely wrong about how Ice works. Again; not an expert on the subject"

[Josh]
While the discussion of underground rivers continued, Josh noticed Anthony eyeing up the apples and berries scattered across the ground. Any food they found down there had probably been lying on the ground for a while, and would be frozen solid by this point. It had been a while since they'd had a full meal, but Anthony wasn't seriously about to eat one of them, right? "We're getting close, Anthony. Just hold out for a little while longer, okay?" He said.

It was pretty odd, though. Why was there so much food this deep in the cave in the first place? At this point, Josh began to remember one of the rooms in Reshiram's tower. "Hold on... Do you guys remember that stash of food we found yesterday, in that tower?" He asked, looking around. He couldn't see anything of interest right now, but there could very well be a similar food storage further ahead. "I think think this might've come from a similar room. The Pokemon living this deep have to get food from somewhere, right?"

[Dexter]
The Pokemon in this place were weirdly obsessed with humans, including their still-unnamed client. He was so caught up in his conversation with Spruce that he didn't notice the locked door blocking their path. After Nina cleared her throat to get his attention, he used a card and some kind of strange machine to unlock the door and allow them to continue. According to him, doors like that were used by humans all the time. "I don't get it. Didn't they have keys and shit?" Dexter said. He was struggling to understand why they would use something this complicated when a key and lock would work just fine.
