Rainer grunts as he slowly brings himself to shift into a sitting position, now sitting next to the older man as he watched the other fights unfold. "Man, today's been pretty eye opening for me." Rainer said out of nowhere as he stretched his arms, causing the old man to look at him with a raised eye brow. "I mean, for a long time I thought I was the strangest thing in the ocean, turns out there're giants who can divide themselves into smaller people, girls who can cut down men twice their size, a person who can explode, hell I think I saw this one guy walk on air for awhile. It's all just making me rethink the whole, 'lone sailor' thing y'know." He finishes as he watches Janet blow one of their enemies away with a small explosion, the old man giving a small nod in response.

The bartender gave a short nod at the man with the sword. "It's been a pretty interesting day for us too." He paused and gave the stubble on his chin a quick scratch. "I always thought there was something not quiet right about those Legion pirates, what with the way they all seemed so similar and anxious to throw their lives away, and now I know why that was. All of them, every single one, was just the same person, only a whole lot smaller."

Smiling the man put his hand on the swordsman's shoulder, and squeezed it amiably. "Nobody should be alone out in a world where there people like these guys floating around." He gave a short laugh, before turning around and putting his hands around his mouth to give a short holler. "Okay guys! The coast is clear! The Legion pirates are gone and these people, despite a lack of concern for collateral damage, don't seem hostile, at least unless you throw the first stone."

@Noodles
Abbygail's first instinct was to move as she noted the small woman was unleashing another explosion, but she forced herself to relax as she noted that there wasn't enough power for the force to reach her. It was just precisely enough to cause the man who was shooting towards her like a soft, round cannon ball to gain some height over her, and keep on sailing right into the sunset. There wasn't a lot of time between the man's change of direction and the loud, distant splash as his body slammed into the water, and sank until it either hit something hard, or became dinner for something bigger.

The woman with purple hair stuck her hands in her pockets, standing next to Janet, and gave out a short whistle. "I'm not sure if you're getting better, or if the fight back there on the Legion's ship got you excited, but its nice to see that I'm not flying too." With a short smile on her face, the woman turned her attention to the crowd that was gathering around the other three pirates who assisted in the battle against the Legion pirates.

"Not sure if they're going to thank us, or just to lynch us for the damage we've done to their little town, but whatever's going to happen I think it would be a good idea if we all faced it together." Without another word the woman started moving towards the gathering crowd.

@Shiyonichi@grandia20@Crimson Lion@Noodles
What was left of the village, at least those who weren't fortunate enough to get on a boat before the boats were done away with, wasn't much, but it was enough to start over again. Maybe a few dozen men, women, and children were left alive. Despite the differences in natural appearances, they were all covered in dirt and soot, with cuts and abrasions decorating their bodies like red sprinkles on chocolate cakes. More than that, they all wore the same expression on their faces, ones of exhaustion, hope and relief that the hell they were experiencing wasn't going to continue for very long.

For a few minutes after gathering, the crowd simply stood, looking at one another for some kind of answer to their confusion, but nobody knew what to say. Eventually, one person started to talk, and then another. Before long everyone was in a full uproar over the day's events. They weren't mad, or excited, just agitated with all the energy they found had been stored up inside of them. This went on for a few minutes before the man who owned the bar raised a hand.

"Ladies and gentlemen." He said with authority. "Please." The crowd went silent as if they were watching a pin falling towards the Earth and wanted to know if it made a sound against sand. "Let me talk." He took a deep breath. "Here." He said, motioning towards the group which had taken care of the Legion pirates at the cost of their town. "We have heroes and destroyers. These are the individuals who, through arguably no fault of their own, gained the ire of Legion pirates which prompted an attack on not only themselves, but our homes. The struggle between the two forces ended with this place."

He paused to made a motion towards the ruins around them. The crowd mumble, angrily like a wasps of honey bees that were almost as mad as heck and weren't going to take it any more, but the man resumed before they had a chance to turn into an angry mob. "But in the end, this would happen someday, sooner or later. I say, we should show some thanks, if not to these people then to those in heaven, that they were strong enough to chase the bastard away with his tale between his legs." Another pause, this time, there were no angry murmurs. The only sign the crowd was still alive was the occasional nod of their head.

"Fine then." The man said, clapping his hands together, to settle the point. "It's decide." He made a movement, with a flourish. "So, bring what you can; food, drink, plates, or what have you. Tonight, we'll celebrate and tomorrow we'll begin rebuilding our home."

With that, the crowd gave a quick cheer before scattering like a hill of ants that suddenly found heaps of honey suddenly flowing over their hill.

"Well this is a pleasant surprise." Abbygail said, with a grin. "For a second there I was sure they'd lynch us." Still smiling, she held out her hand. "The name is Abbygail, by the way."

Rainer almost bolted from the scene when the angry murmuring began only to be twice as surprised when the people cheered before dispersing. "For a second there I was sure they'd lynch us." He heared the purple haired girl say. Rainer rubbed his neck at that, before a chill went down his back. That was a scary thought.

"Ah the names Fell Rainer, just call me Rainer. I'm sort of a travelling handyman. Y'know, odd jobs and such."

Musashi walked over to group drinking from a bottle of expensive looking wine she found with her bag slung over her shoulder.

"Ok Reintroducing myself, I guess. Musashi, swordsman and known criminal nice to meet you."

The criminal said causally as if she was stating her job description.

Janet gulped upon facing the villagers, after all she was the one who blew up most of the buildings of the village. She was glad that the blame was shifted to the pesky pirates.

"I'm Janet," She stated, laying against the walls of the harbor

Despite the slow beginning, it did not take long before a party was in full swing. Drinks and food flowed through the gathering bodies of people, who though currently without much physical objects to their names, were just too happy to be alive to care. The villagers mostly talked among themselves, but occasionally one would break off from the swimming crowds to thank one of their saviors, give the almost heroes of the day a pat on the back, or just get closer for a better look. Somehow, several of the town's residents had managed to slip plates and drinks into each of the strangers' hands.

@grandia20
"Kyy" Abbygail said with a nod. For a moment her eyes narrowed at the man's not too subtle attention to her body. A quick retort came into her mind, but she forced herself to relax. She'd let it go this once, so long as he didn't try touching her, at which case she'd have no choice but to break every joint in both his arms. "It's nice to meet you Kyy." She said with a forced smile and small bow of her head.

@Crimson Lion
Her attention turned to the swordsman whom she helped beneath the waves, and who in turn did the same for her. "Travelling handyman, huh?" Abbygail said before taking a quick drink of the ale which had magically appeared in her hands. "You wouldn't by chance happen to know anything about shipwrighting, would you, because I could use a hand on my ship, if I ever manage to actually get my hands on a ship. Which'll happen, someday soon, hopefully." The last couple of words she muttered underneath her breath while holding her mug close to her face to add to the difficulty in the words travelling very far.

@Noodles
"Janet," Abbygail said with a nod. "Glad to see you're more conscious than earlier. Are you going to be okay? Do you need some help walking?"

@Shiyonichi
"Ah!" Abbygail had to make a mental to keep from dropping her food to take the attractive swordsman's Musashi's hand in hers and press her lips to the back. "Musashi, even if you are a criminal I couldn't hold it against you." She took a quick slide closer to the woman. "You wouldn't by chance want some company from now on, till eternity does us a part, would you?" Her eyebrows raised and lowered as about seductively as a toad inflating its air sack.

@Noodles@Shiyonichi@Crimson Lion@grandia20
"Mmm." A strange voice said from a few feet away. "Excuse me." The bar owner, along with two men was standing together. "Hi!" The bar owner said, with a wave and smile. "There's this fellow here" he pointed at the large, muscular man with the thickest mustache Abbygail had ever seen "has something he wishes to talk to you fellows about." With a bow the bartender stepped aside and the mountain of a man stepped forwards, followed by his slightly smaller assistant.

"My name is Philip Phelp, and this is my first mate Mack Mondo. We've just arrived on this island, not a few minutes ago, looking for help. Everyone around here has told us about how this crew single handily bested one of the most notorious pirate crews in these waters. We were wondering if you four would be so kind as to come with us. There's a group of people who could really use your help."

"No worries, I'm well awake after an afternoon nap." Janet snickered, until she saw someone who called themselves Phillip and Mack. Getting up from the boom of the harbour, the girl of the red scarf eyed at them cynically. Pirates who arrived like this in the middle of the battlefield, whether they are brave or stupid, I have no idea... "We don't work for free like this, not especially to strangers we don't trust. We might consider if you tell us your bounties at least, I'm Janet, three million." Janet's reply to the pirates were brief and straightforward, her remaining nine hundred thousand as rounded down, as she felt that her own bounty was too low to be important.

"I'll think about it."

The flirting seemed to have gone over her head. She was rather dense about love. Really dense about love and romance to possibly being asexual. Musashi looked at Phillip, giving a look of If this is a trap you'll get shived faster than you can say 'It's a trap!'.

"I agree with the red girl."

Musashi said as she took a swig of her booze.

Kyy seemed to notice their notice of checking them out. "Just so you know, I'll look but I won't touch unless I'm given the okay. I'm a perv and admit it but I'm no sexual deviant. So please don't judge." He smiles genuinely. "Musa, Where did you find that, it looks good right about now." He smiles to show his nickname for her was in a friendly way but if she didn't like it, he'd show respect for that and avoid it if she'd prefer. He was a perv but he seemed like a decent gentleman besides checking the girls out.

Rainer was almost to busy drooling over his plate of fish that he almost didn't hear Abbygails question. “Huh? Oh! Um, yeah I'm actually pretty good at working with ships. I even built my own small ship and have been traveling in it for awhile before it was … stolen.” He said now feeling alittle crestfallen. What DID happn to his boat?

Before he could ponder more, two newcomers appear asking for help. Before Rainer could respond he hears Janet's comment about payment. “Wait, we don't? Also ‘we’? We're a group?!” Rainer asked mostly to himself. He had nothing against them, don't get him wrong, but he had assumed this was a one time thing before leaving.

… Bah whatever. Might as well stay with them until he could get his hands on a new boat. What could go wrong?

Abbygail rolled her eyes at the man with the red hair's comments and turned her attention to the swordsman. "Might as well be. It's not like any of us, and this is more of an assumptions based on the way the giant went about destroying every sea worthy vessel in sight, have a ship to sail off in or a desire to stay on this island, right?"

@Noodles@Shiyonichi
Philip, the larger of the two men paused, and tilted his head in confusion. He had been expecting a lot of things upon greeting the pirates, but asking about bounties wasn't one of them. It took him a moment, two, before he was able to fully understand exactly what was going on. "Uhm." He said, blinking for a few seconds. "We do not have bounties. The people who need help aren't fighters or criminals in any sense of the word. They're merely innocent individuals who are in danger!"

He paused for a bit, not too sure of what he should do next before taking his hat off and bowing his head. "If bounties interest you, I'm sure the people who're causing problems are worth enough to make helping worth your wild." He turned his attention towards the dock, towards the only ship that didn't look like it was currently taking on water. "It's not even far, and my ship is fast. Judging by this group's strength you could all be there and done within a week's time!" Another pause as the man looked around for something to say.

"There's boats" the young man standing behind hip squeaked. "I mean, what's you guys are done I'm sure you could get a reasonably well made ship there for a good price, if not completely free."

The mention of innocent people grabbed Rainers attention. "Well ... After we're done here we don't really have anything to do right guys? I'm all for helping a few people, plus if we get a boat out of it then it'll solve our transport problem." He said as he took a couple bites of his meal. Plus I'd rather not stay on this island too long, I feel like I'll dry up if we stay here too long.

"Sure I could use a good fight, the theater wannabes wasn't that much."

Musashi cracked her knuckles as she gave out a bloodthirsty grin. Besides she needed to get off the island somehow.

Janet

"We're not bounty hunters, but I get what you're implying, you all will pay us later, personally I'm not into this job but majority wins I guess..." Janet looked at the crewmates reluctantly, letting out a sigh, as she approached the two pirates, "Another thing, since its a request from you all, both of you sleep on the decks, and do note that we'll plank you to the sharks if we feel like it."

"If you don't like how things goes, we're pirates, not saints..." Janet let out a smile, having a loose grasp on her undrawn javelin.

The purple haired former marine smirked at the red eyed swordsman, and said something vague about being free if she needed a work out.

@Crimson Lion
Abbygail turned her attention to the swordsman and nodded. I've got no plans and any plans I might have are rendered mute without a ship to get me anywhere.

@grandia20
The short woman took a moment to take in what the red haired man said before sighing. "Just don't drink too much. You don't want to forget yourself, touch something you shouldn't, and then we all have to bear the burden of listening to you complain about how hard it is to get things done with all your joints facing the wrong direction."

@Noodles
The two men began to thank the crew for their willingness to help, but paused at Janet, unsure of how to continue. "Pirates?" Each of the members pointed towards themselves. "We're fishermen."

Anyways." Abbygail cut in before the men could say more. "It looks like we're in so you don't have to worry about any more impressing onto to us the dire severity of the situation." She put her hands on her tiny hips. "So, when do you need us to go?"

Again, the men paused. "We can leave as soon as the rest of you are ready to go, but I'm afraid we really couldn't wait any longer than the morning."

At that the purple haired woman gave a nod. "I'm about done for the night anyways. You guys wouldn't happen to mind if I got an early night's rest on your boat?"

The men shook their heads. "No. Of course." The captain started moving. "We have plenty of space for all of you to sleep comfortably. Come" He said to Abbygail and anyone else who wanted to turn in. "I'll show you to your quarters and we'll leave as soon as everyone's on board." He paused to turn back to the ones who were still standing where they were. "But again, we can't wait till past the morning. On or not we'll leave without you."

He pointed towards, again, the only ship in the harbor. "Again, we're right over there whenever you guys are ready to turn in. Just call and either me or my first mate here we'll come to let you in."

Musashi sat down a piece of rubble taking a a few more sips of the bottle. She spoke up saying. "I'll be here training before I turn in, if anyone tries to freaking stop me, they'll get cut." Musashi threatened to anyone who would try and stop her reckless behavior of drinking while slashing.

Rainer finished his food and stood up before going up to one of the sailors, "Hey, I'm going to find a different place on the boat to sleep. That should be fine right?" He asked with the sailor just giving a nod. Rainer left the group, going to the ship and made a B line directly to the lowest floor. The room was dark and damp, with spare equipment just lying around. "This seems .. secluded enough." He said as he began to strip off some of his clothes, letting his dorsal fin stretch. "God damn it's been a long day." He said with a chuckle. He immediately made a make shift bed and fell to sleep, exhausted from the days events.
