Here as well, still trying to come up with something, the day took an unexpected turn as instead of doing something productive I played a game for 12 hours straight.
Alright, my baking brother. You can rush that, motherfucking, spectrum of space into the character bar. I'm cooler with its concept than a fridge containing einsteins brain.
The character bar has just been stocked with a fresh supply of CS schnapps, kindred. Let me know what I should add to the perks section when you can.
Silecatus is a nimble figure with the body of a female human. Her frame is fragile as she is not one of physical strength. She stands tall however, just over seven feet while her smooth grey skin is akin to porcelain in texture, and shows no imperfections. Her nature is reflected upon her face, impassive and without features, while her horns are symbol of her will- Strong and absolute. Silecatus speaks and sees from her mind. Her voice is a soft breeze full of sweet nothings or a mighty tempest full of rage. On the rare occasion that she would be dressed, her choice would be that of a long, draping white gown etched with a myriad of patterns.
Any mortal creature with a weak mind who happened to chance upon her, would find themselves drawn to her. Her whispers soft and inviting and slowly, like a spider, she would ensnare them with her honeyed words till they became food for her children. Such is the way of a monster.
Personality -
Silacetus is a creature of nature, twisted by beauty of her own desires. Such beauty is seldom known to others, for not every creature can be a mother. The aches and pains of such entitlement are only known to such a precious few. Little ones are the ultimate pinnacle of a union between partners, to be treated with love and care till the end of days. A mother only asks for affection from her offspring in return, what would be better than that?
If such affection can not be received then only pain awaits, endlessly without abandon. Silacetus only craves children who will listen, who only care about what can serve her to fulfillment. She can be kind and caring, or destructive and cruel in a moments notice. She desires more for herself and to a lesser extent, her children. She has little qualms about what is right and wrong in the world, she simply exists to fulfill her own goals and desires, no matter what the cost is.
Powers List
Silectus is a mother to her core, but not to man that ploughs the fields, or the beasts who walk the land, nor to the creatures of the water. She is a mother to monsters. Her children are the ones who prey in the darkness of the night, of long forgotten places and in the nightmares of man. She can create any type of creature, whether small or large, with tusks or fangs, claws or hooves and imbue them with precious life. They are hers by right, she brought them into the world, and she can surely take them out. Her limitations are time, the smaller a creature is the quicker she can create it but the larger one is, the longer it will take. Such creatures can also turn on her albeit rarely, or follow a different god entirely if influenced. She also requires a dark place to work, away from the prying eyes of the sun.
Hopefully, you don't mind my character and that they are a lesser who's going to have a lot of interaction with the 5 nations.
Name Merlí
DOMAIN N/A
Appearence A pale figure that is often wrapped in a fine woven robe giving him a modest look despite the exquisite fabric used. The hood on his robes are usually pulled up that hides his face, with it maybe being the reason for his light skin or perhaps for protecting his fair complexion, he only takes it off only when needed. It is not surprising that a person like him would have a lithe physique that accompanies his long hair, gleaming in an array of different colorful shades and tints like a rainbow when in contact with just the right amount of light. He gives off the presence of awe that comes from his playful and euphoric attitude that is seemingly ephemeral in the way like the passing of the seasons.
Personality A curious figure to appear at court who rather seems ill-fit for the duties that would be assigned to someone part of the pantheon. Yet despite this, he at least is suited to be considered at the very least for the various positions that value the talents displayed by him. Perhaps he came to the court for simply the fun of it, which wouldn't be too far-fetched for what people normally expect of him.
His personality isn't what you would consider 'distasteful' compared to the demeanors that other gods may have and how they carry themselves among their peers. Mostly, he stands around bubbly and aloof that often has others thinking less of him, or at minimum a scatterbrain and forgetful. It mostly holds true whenever he is lost in thought, having his attention elsewhere until something interests him. Compared to the dull aspects that are Gods, he prefers the interaction of humans who are much more interesting with what they are capable of doing for themselves. Like those humans, Merlí is a puzzle to figure out as well, seemingly catching things even if he was lost in his thoughts once again. Along with surprising clarity that comes from time to time when he simply feels like it is something needed.
One could call it a mask he wears, dancing between the dichotomy that many overlook for the reputation that he has. Only those who have spent some significant time knowing Merlí would know the changes in his demeanor, but perhaps it would be best left alone.
Powers List
The Eyes that Wanders Beyond (✦): Perhaps the reason to why the God is always lost in his own thoughts, concerned of matters pertaining to the finer things that these eyes can see. They allow him to see beyond what normal eyes can do even from the perception of other gods, focused on the present rather than the past or future which is usually expected of such an ability. Allowing him to project his sight over immense distances where he doesn't even need to be there or seeing through magical glamour meant to hide something. They can even see the work of conceptual and essential forces doing their task throughout the world as many take them for granted. These while a gift can be also considered a curse that ironically blinds Merlí from the present situation when he has his attention or interest elsewhere.
While the sensitivity of his eyes are not limited to what is currently happening but is perhaps too volatile to see the future or past. Rather than receiving hints, he instead sees everything that could happen or could've been, peering into different timelines and realities that do not pertain to the likelihood of what is possible in his current situation. The ability to see the future is there but instead provides too much information to sort out even with his divine nature accounted for. In the end, consider the ability to see either the future or past with these eyes impossible.
Knowledge of the Chronicler (✦): Lacking the ability to peer into the past, Merlí has taken the steps to be involved in the history of mortals to know what has been, it is perhaps another reason to his constant distance he has between others. There is no doubt though that he is a reliable source of knowledge when it comes to what humans do or have done, recording events that have shaken up their history and society. This knowledge is akin to a teacher of history that knows what has been going on in the 5 nations, ranging from major topics to even minor ones that may bloom into something savory. People who are influential in these events are considered to part of his general knowledge that is aware of and watching as they make their moves.
Art of the Magi (✦✦): Often thought to be contradictory to the nature of Merlí, his studies in the forces that drive magic in this world is sometimes surprising even to his close divine companions. He rarely makes such obvious use of it or flaunting it for others to see his accomplishments, instead preferring to simply watch and understand it. There are many aspects to magic that are perceived by people which he agrees with.
Some call it 'the Art' for its reputation perceived by many as an elite discipline requiring artistry and talent to which he agrees with. For it births the possibility to create wonders of awe and beauty that without it would make the world certainly be much more miserable.Other times it has been called the incarnate of chaos, being a primal and dangerous force that is merciless and destructive in its path when wielded without caution. The final thought is that it can be considered science, knowledge which can only be learned through extensive study, discipline, and hard work that the person goes through. It can be considered akin to progress that drives advancement.
However, in the end, magic is all of those. Depending on who calls upon it shapes it purpose and desires. It can be a beautiful art that enlightens those around, a maelstrom of chaos that destroys, or a discovery that moves the world forward. That is its true nature, a force neutral until given shape and flows throughout the world like a stream of life. It is the ability that represents Merlí's ability to not only control the force that is magic and shape it to his desires but understand its properties. His knowledge at this point is beyond what humanity understands at this point and time by leaps and bounds simply due to his nature that allows him to understand things differently than them. Having this knowledge, he is able to control magic with refined finesse and twist it in ways that only masters could safely pull off along with an immense repertoire of spells to use as well. The more time that is placed into channeling the mystic force allows greater effects to be realized, scaling with his power stat, even simple and quick spells may be effective in combat as bolts of fire or streaks of lightning.
The effects of his magic can replicate many abilities that would fall under the domain of other Gods and effectively be ultimately subordinate to them if they are of greater power than him. To essentials who are representations of what they are would automatically take over the authority of his magic's intended effect should he replicate the element that makes them who they are, however, this is usually due to their immense power over their domain.

Mortal Affairs: 0 ( - ), There are two types of people: Those who see opportunity and take advantage, and those who forge the opprotunities themselves. For someone like Merlí, it is perhaps surprising he has the initiative to do such a thing but he is capable of acquiring the favor of mortals when needed. There has been a passing of time since his last major interaction with the world, very very few of those who once met him still live, but to remember who he is would be different in their states.
Influence: -2 (✧✧), Rather unknown to his divine peers as a God who has abandoned trying to keep his rapport with them and the tedious games they play. His appearance to the court is perhaps unexpected for a Stranger who has been ostracized in the politics taking place within the heavens. Even among his group of outcasts, few even know what domain he has claim over or what even his abilities are that makes them his divinity questionable.
What I mean, brother is that, while the character is good. So much would change in bringing him over from that RP to this one due to the lore, system, highest court, and ectr. I think he's cooler than an snowman divorce court I can't give a proper feedback on how well it would mesh here.
I suggest you just fill out a sheet and I'll give what advice I can when you got a working CS for this.
I'm not allowing shared sight or future sight. Primarily because it would be OP in the style of this RP mechanics are. This would be changed to Clairvoyant power: which is in the "word on abilities" section.
Second:
Magic is very large umbrella of abilities. So it can easily game the ability buyer. Since, you basically have a package of them in arcana. It's a bit hard to balance this.
I'm ok with this but it will more or less translate into a mimic power ability: You can only mimic a power you've seen been used: you can't copy clairvoyance, teleporting/portals, PSI, learned skills-like kung fu- or knowledge skills(like math)) nor invisible abilities you can't see being used(like empathy).
Any abilities you mimic you suffer a -3 to power when using them. This is the only way right now I can think to make something as broad as magic work.
Third:
Knowledge of the Cheonicler will translate in having a Knowledge: history. So you are a master of history. Just making it really clear.
Here's a rough power scale so you guys can get a better idea of its in game effects on spells.
Below or equal to 0: This only counts as you still having bough the ability for a point but for some reason your power reach this scale. You are performing whatever it is at a normal mortal capacity: youre fire balls are hand sized orbs.
1: You are on equal with a master in the feild. You'll fling fire balls the size of boulders without effort and start doing things like flamethrower/ or change it shape. It size stays roughly full humanoid. Give or take a few feet.
2 no visible change yet
3: no visible change yet
4: You are now reaching mother nature levels. That fire ball you produced at 1 is something you can conjure as rain in a small radius with little effort. You could easily decimate a village in one smite with your raw hit alone-not including the fallout of the fire spreading- making flame elementals the size of small towers now is possible.
5: No visible change yet.
6: No Visible Change yet.
7: At This point you could easily create a giant tidal wave of flame to crawl across a landscape for hours at a brisk pace. Destroying cities and villages in one tantrum is within your capacity. Nations fear your anger and tremble at your miracles.
8: You can effectivelly cause an assured controlled apocalyse in the area you are focusing on when you perform a miracle. At this point you shouldn't be surprised if you're literally creating small manifestations from your domain in your sleep-like little flame imps- and could easily tear volcanos from the ground.
9: No visible Change
10: You are a true god of your power. You are pretty much an incarnation of it, anything you can think of doing you can do. Make larva form and cool into giant fortresses within hours. Make the earth Vomit larva around half the country. If you struck a miracle now you can be assured that nations civilization is simply not going to recover for hundreds of years...if at all.
your power is 4. So you could create large monsters if you wanted to. Think about 15-20 foot tall. Although it would take you hours to do so, especially the more complex they are. Unless you're making weak, limp, featureless blobs most of your creatures are going to take you at least half an hour.
@ScreenAcne Excellent news, my mind is abound with ideas. I think I might make a creatures page on my character sheet so I can keep track of what's been done.
You are all going to get more power as the RP goes on. But it's still early in the age of the world and Essentials are finally getting some help managing the other domains with the first pantheon rising.
@ScreenAcne Yup yup, everything makes sense to me.
The clairvoyance power that my character has is intended to be terrible at reading the future and the past, hence their knowledge of history and at best would be what you had in that ability section in terms of accuracy. But for clarification, I will add a tidbit at the end that will wrap it to the constraints that you have in place for clairvoyance.
Limitations that are in place for Magic are also agreeable when used to mimic other abilities which is a lot of versatility. I was wondering if there would be any bonuses to power if preparation is taken as a factor for more complicated spells since it can be likened t would be in a manner similar to Silectus creating her children.
As for the knowledge skill, yup that was what its for!
So let me get on those changes and I'll post the new version
@ScreenAcne Just finished this guy - anything need to be changed?
Name: Kozo
Essential - N
Standing at only 3 feet tall and weighing 20 pounds, Kozo is the furthest thing possible from an imposing figure. His voice, high pitched like a child, in combination with his fuzzy appearance is exactly like his personality - soft and lovable. He is very cute looking, and keeps himself as clean as possible. His fur is softer than down pillows, and he has two antennae that serve little purpose other than aesthetics. His tail is prehensile, his wings are capable of carrying twice his body weight and carry him at a speed of 30 MPH.
Nothing about Kozo is dangerous - even his teeth, a far cry from the mighty teeth of a lion that they are based on. They are unable to pierce human skin, and can only tear strips of food and chew.
Personality: Kozo can be extremely lovable and kind to some people, and the most annoying creature to ever exist to others - it depends on who you ask. He always treats people with love and respect, even if they are clearly undeserving. Kozo loves nearly everything that exists - in fact, he answers statements and questions with comments like "Kozo Loves _____". Other than this, his hobbies include lounging about, playing with others, cuddling, and healing anyone he comes across. Kozo talks in the third person.
Despite his kind nature and disposition, he is essentially a child mentally. He isn't necessarily dumb, but he is innocent to most things, and is generally poor at handling uncomfortable situations - For example, if someone lost a relative, Kozo would offer them candy and play time, rather than allowing them to grieve and have alone time. Additionally, Kozo refuses to harm another living creature - he'll eat food that from an animal that was already killed, but if it is within his power, he'll do his best to stop people from fighting. This extends not only to animals and mortals, but from plants all the way to other gods.
The only time that Kozo ever gets angry is when gods hurt mortals - he thinks it is horrible that beings with so much power would pick on nice people. He is easy to scare, especially by monsters, the dark, and violence. Surprisingly, he is not scared of bugs or massive predators.
Love! - Kozo is capable of healing other beings. Anything from plants to gods, Kozo can heal them with the power of Love! Obviously, it cannot heal nonliving things, so broken objects are unable to be repaired with this power. (3 Points)
Kozo Love Nature! - Kozo possesses an intense bond with animals of the world, particularly cats and insects. With this bond, he is able to speak and control animals. This power, however, only effects non-sentient animals, and as such, most mortals are immune to it, as are all gods. (1 Point)

Kingsmaker/Merlí: He's like the Mortals! Yay! Kozo loves Mortals! Merlí even give them magics - He very nice!
Zhystkrexas: ...Kozo no like very much.
Edit: Whoops, sorry about that. Fixed the problems rush pointed out
Just finished this guy - anything need to be changed?
Since you aren't an essential you aren't the god of something right off the bat. When the RP starts, we have to go through some meeting to get that sorted out. Also, since Kozo doesn't have the power to see that which does not exist, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have opinions on the Lesser God Who Does Not Exist since he probably doesn't know there even is a Lesser God Who Does Not Exist. What with Kozo not being able to perceive the Lesser God Who Does Not Exist and all. Also, the Lesser God Who Does Not Exist does not exist and therefore has no gender.

Alright so for the clairvoyance thing, I added a bit that renders the last bit as 'fluff' and made it within the confines of the ability section. It simply is remote viewing and enhanced magic vision at this point now.
With the Magic and History parts being both fine, hopefully this is all good now!
This is nearly perfect. I'm really, motherfucking, digging this creativity like an oil hunter who gone into fever in the desert. However.
You can't move around stats.
The stats a pantheon, lesser, or essential have more are a matter of their origin and place in divine society at the start. They are not neccesarily reflections of character. The 4 stats points you spend are your characters personal contributions.
A way to think about it is: A character having a low value job wouldn't help his influence. A ghetto living janitor may have great personal attributes but he's not going to find it easy influencing laws and other gods. Pantheon is sort of like middle/upper class, even if you don't neccesarily have attributes that make you have that influence just starting off as being in that class gives some footing that reflect other society members view of you a bit more positively.
Hmmm, I'll allow the first power. The only caveat is that if someone dosen't want to be seen, or doing something he dosen't want to be seen he can't see it. This is mostly so he can't logically immediately uncover Hidden Events.
But shit, this looks, motherfucking, good to me, my cable comrade.
Shit, how about this. Every day you spend charging up a spell. I'll give you +1 power to its effect with the max being your power stat itself. In this case, 3. That way it's still balanced without rendering you near powerless in most scenarios.
