@pandapolio It's completely optional, dude. I started Conata off as a kid because it suited her story but it was a lot of work. You do what you think is most appropriate for your character.

@Antarctic Termite I just read this: roleplayerguild.com/posts/4362046 and was wondering if you could elaborate on what Jvan just did in the Gap. As I understand, that 'Void' she created inside a part the Gap reverted it to her original pre-Vowzrid Other, so that there was an empty bit of original Other within the Gap. Is that still there, or was it a temporary thing for Osveril's creation? The Summary says something about her destroying it, but I'm unsure.

She found a specific gap and emptied it of Other life completely, then processed it into something entirely new, a vacuous pocket dimension completely separate from the total Gap. In the process of Osveril's birth, she destroyed it again.

Yep! This should explain everything.

It does remind me that I never really explained how the blast furnace developed out of the bloomery in my post, though it is mentioned that Tauga considers the monsoon furnace a form of bloomery anyway, so they probably didn't have the technology at all until the metal bender introduced it. They're very similar constructions, but I'll add a Heartworm freepoint to smooth things over anyway and keep y'all happy.

What would happen if someone took the kernel and chucked it into the Gap?


The Gap would figure out how to build tesseract prisons in space-time and put that ability to excellent use.

Mechanically, the question is akin to 'what would happen if you put a bag of holding in another bag of holding?', the answer to which is something like this.



Which probably happens twice a day before breakfast in the Gap anyway.

Joke's on you, it's a hard 'ch', a la 'echo'. For this to work, you'd have to pronounce it, 'The Kiral Cuckers'.

The irony is that the Divinus character whose name actually was derived from 'echo', Achozaal, used a soft 'ch'.
