@Eventua This is really awesome and unique! I have to mention, though, that in previous OOC responses I've already denied another player a request to have known the captain/crew ahead of time. The CS is exactly the character's application submitted to a captain they've never met for consideration as a part of his crew. I'm gonna have to insist on that, sorry!

We can, however, say that they've been in communication before. Say, Krita had sent out a distress signal and received a response from Golby via HOBO, saying he's rather unable to help at the moment but he's accepting applications for future crewmates. You could assume a bit of conversation back and forth, but physically they haven't met.

As for the swarm! How about a combination of your suggestions: your original community, once onboard, would be confined to the ship. Any excursions , Krita would go out alone -- this is basically because I can't imagine keeping track of what's happening if there's a swarm of little gobbos running around, haha. I'll let you know if there are any communities in the area -- if I forget to mention it, feel free to ask.

Edit: on second thought, and given developments IC right now, limiting your access to the community would put your character at a severe disadvantage so I'll take it back. Go forth and swarm to your heart's content! xD (I still really want to RP out a first meeting between all the characters and Golby, though! We can be creative with how the community is gonna transport over to the Dozing ruins -- maybe some kind of weird land-scudder animal-machine-thing that they've hitchhiked on?)

@Scrub Mage Man really diggin' the interactions between your stoic bug-person and my manic cat-person wow! :] So I think we have a bit of a problem but a really neat one though; Day uses telepathy to communicate, but Lucky has a resistance to it. But she can sense his strongest emotions while she is in a good mood and purrs. Interesting eh...?

Ahhh, my bad. I didn't realize, but I think that's okay, because The Witnessed Day is exhausted from walk-thoughts just as I'm exhausted from Real-thoughts. Though, he doesn't really listen to other minds ("Too much junk."), so he's probably not aware of the resistance. He's also really Self-absorbed, and tends not to imagine an "inferior being" as being able to resist his whispers.

This accident on my end, I think, does make it a pretty neat problem. He'll keep on imagining that his thoughts are heard until the point it's expressed that he's not said one word to Lucky, in which case he'd probably be offended (as a reaction of insecurity) that a lower being would resist his thoughts.

@Eventua I've changed my mind on previously posted decisions, which seem obviously wrong now -- Krita, especially, shouldn't be limited in his use of the community, in order to even remotely compete with everyone else! I've edited the above. x3 He's also totally approved! Please do copy him over to the characters tab! I'd really like everyone to be meeting Golby right now for the first time though, if that's ok with you! :D

And everyone else -- it's looking like you guys don't even need me, the dynamic among you all is potentially explosive on its own, haha.

@Mokley Thanks, I've posted Krita's character sheet on the character page with some notable edits and additions to match the things you suggested, if there's anything you're unsure of/unhappy with then please let me know and I will edit it immediately.

That said, I'm curious how good everyone else's sense of smell is? Bobblings 'special speech' is very difficult for 'biggs' to learn because it's not vocal and therefore does not make a good basis for abstract communication with non-Bobblings. That said, someone could easily 'get the feel' of what it means or implies with enough exposure.

@Mokley@Eventua Um, I also think there is little you can do to prevent Stone from eating anything... but! it proves to give some benefits... We'll see how it goes once the Bobblings and Stone meet, whether she'd eat one dozen or not. Whether she gets to eat them will decided whether a tidbit about her will be revealed... or not.

Stone's supposed to be in the meeting place now. So, interactions/GM post is what she and I are waiting for now.
