Seth looked around the cockpit of the aircraft, viewing the crew Iron Man had assembled. There were some really strong members, like Red Hulk, She Hulk and himself, some weak members, like Black Widow who had no powers and Nighthawk, who was only useful at night. There were also some...talkative members of the team. Specifically, that Deadpool fellow who Seth had grown into a friendship with as a fellow mercenary and agent of chaos. Deadpool turned to Seth and began running his lip off.

"So apparently my lovely X-Friends are preparing to summon the Phoenix again, you'd think they'd had enough of that thing the first time, huh?" Deadpool said to Seth.

"Whoever controls the Phoenix will have absolute power and control over the universe. I can't allow something that could challenge father exist, like the One-Above-All." Seth said to Deadpool

"Seth loves his Daddy!" Deadpool said to Seth teasingly.

"Yes, maybe if this visit to the X-Men's base goes wrong, we'll see him in Hell" Seth said.

"Oh, sorry for your loss-" just then, Deadpool was cut off by an abrupt landing in the Mutant City of Utopia. Iron Man's Pro-Registration Avengers filed out into the Island, were a group of X-Men led by Cyclops were waiting. Iron Man stepped out of the aircraft and walked up to Cyclops.

"We know about what you're planning to do with the Phoenix. We're taking Hope Summers, don't put up a resistance." Iron Man said to Cyclops.

"Yeah, well, we'll see about that." Cyclops said. "X-Men, go!" Cyclops gestured his X-Men to attack, and Cyclops activated his visor and blasted into the Avengers. Iron Man put up a reflector shield and the concussive blast bounced off, but not without knocking him back quite a bit.

"Avengers, Assemble!" Iron Man said. A gigantic battle brewed up on the beach on Utopia, the winner yet to be seen.

Wolverine while not enthusiastic about the Phoenix coming back but it could mean the return of Jean. Even if Jean coming back wasn't a possibility he sure as hell wasn't going to let Tony Fucking Stark steal a child from her family. That is why he pledged the support of the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning to Utopia
Wolverine made everyone at the school aware of the situation and anyone who wanted to volunteer was welcome.

Tony was flying in the air above the battlefield like a coward. Wolverine grabbed Nightcrawler and they went to Colossus. Wolverine climbed into Colossus' hand and Nightcrawler jumped on Wolverine's back. "Kurt drop me above Iron Man when I say." Colossus threw the pair straight at Iron Man. Wolverine waited for Iron Man to turn and fire at them and gave Kurt the order. Before Iron Man could react to them disappearing Wolverine claws were tearing into the back of his armor. The damaged Iron Man fell to the ground on top of Red Hulk. Wolverine landed behind Deadpool.

Talon was under orders to monitor Avengers vs X-Men, she was put in charge of a squad of Mandroids and a Boeing C-17 Globemaster III nicknamed The Bus. Talon strapped on her S.H.I.E.L.D. Flight Pack just in case. "Do not interfere unless they attempt expand their fight past Utopia's borders. If the fight expands, do not fire directly at them unless they attack."

Tigra was on a mission for the Avengers West Coast with US Agent, John Walker. John was all for the proposed Superhuman Registration Act. She was against it but she wasn't one to advertise her political leanings, especially on a mission. John spent the entire ride in the Quinjet talking about it. She wanted nothing more than to sleep on the ride but he just wouldn't shut up.

It was a beautiful night in New York, with most of the criminals in the area taking the night off for one reason or another. Some didn't get the memo, however, but they had been quickly dealt with by the mighty fists of Danny Rand and Luke Cage. At least that's how it would have been on an ideal night.

"I can't believe that guy broke my bloody nose!" Danny yelled as he walked into the Heroes for Hire HQ, aka their shitty apartment, with his nose clogged with tissues and his head held high. "I didn't even use a power punch and that guy still got through my shield! What's up with that!?"

Luke chuckled at his friend's misfortune, patting him lightly on the pack; the force of the pat was equivalent to an average man shoving a person. "Must be something up with it. You're the tech guy, you'll know how to fix it if there is a problem." The large man hopped onto his old recliner, which creaked in protest.

"Still, I got the bastard good for you."

"Yeah, thanks for that. It was cathartic seeing the guy clobbered into the cement." Danny replied as he laid out on the couch. Danny began to idly look at the belt and gauntlets for anything obvious. I wasn't like his belt to just short out, but then again he wasn't working with top of the line parts anymore.

"We got any more pizza in the fridge, Luke? This bloody nose is giving me a hankering for some tomato sauce and cheese." Danny asked, taking the front panel off of the belt piece.

"You ate the last slice, remember?" Luke replied, quirking an eyebrow at Danny. "It was last night. I got pissed at you. What, you get a concussion when he caved your nose in?"

Danny let out a loud, guttural sigh as he recalled eating the last of the pizza. "Now I know how those ninja turtles felt." Iron Fist said as he empathized with the cartoon characters.

Simply shaking his head, Luke got up and headed into the kitchen. "... Still got some cheese and tortillas left. How 'bout a quesadilla?"

"Si señor," Danny said half heartedly as he put his belt back down and began looking over his guantlets.

Luke opened up the fridge, pulling out a package of tortillas and a bag of Mexican style cheese, tossing them onto the counter before preparing a quesadilla for Danny, following suit shortly after with his own. He entered the living room a few minutes later, handing Danny his quesadilla and sitting down in his recliner with his own.

"Gotta say, it could've been worse."

"What? The night or this quesadilla?" Danny joked as he tossed his tissues and began to dig in the delicious Mexican cuisine. "Must be the night because this thing is good."

"The night, dumbshit," the larger man said, rolling his eyes. "Guy coulda had a gun, and you'd be dead as disco instead of having a broken nose."

"Good point." Danny replied "So what's on the itinerary for tommorow? Any jobs lined up?"

"You know that Registration Act that was passed? Got the Avengers split up over it?" Luke asked rhetorically, leaning back in his recliner and taking a bite of his quesadilla. "We've been hired by Tony Stark, y'know, Iron Man. He needs extra muscle it seems. Spidey's with him too, so that's part of why I said yes."

"Sweet. Rich guys overpay for everything, I should know." Danny chuckled, taking another bite of his quesadilla. "I think I'm gonna turn in for the night. Gonna reset this nose of mine, take a few Advils and pass out." Danny said as he got up and headed for his room. "See ya in the morning, Power Man." Danny said, suggesting another hero alter ego for the behemoth.

"You do that, Danny. I'll just watch..." Luke flipped on the TV, currently set to a rerun of Full House. "... Full House." Right before Danny left, he suggested yet another alias for Luke to use. The man didn't exactly like the idea of going by some superhero name, dressing up in tight spandex and all that, but this one...

"Power Man..." Luke repeated absentmindedly, "sweet Christmas, that's badass."

Seth watched as Iron Man was taken down by Wolverine and landed on top of Red Hulk. Seth was having enough of this, and activated his demon powers. A horde of demons came raining out of a Portal above the conflict, and they set their sights on the X-Men. The X-Men were preoccupied by the demons, allowing Deadpool to pick up Iron Man and retreat back into the aircraft.

There was one X-Man who made easy work of the Demons, Colossus, the new Juggernaut. Colossus smashed through the horde and She-Hulk and Red Hulk attempted to stop him, but even their strength was not enough to resist him. The Hulks were flung around like paper and Colossus rampaged closer to Iron Man's Avengers. Seth knew he had to stop him.

"I am the Son of Satan, and I command you to BURN!" Seth summoned the SoulFire and began to burn Colossus. No amount of physical resistance could stop this kind of magic burning your soul.

"Well badee badee badee that's all folks! Let's get Tony out of here!" Deadpool said.

"No...we came here to do a job, and I'm finishing it." Seth said. The Son of Satan activated his Demon Form and rushed through the crowd towards Hope. Nightcrawler BAMFed in front of Hope, but Seth's Demon Form's enhanced physical powers let Seth throw Nightcrawler aside. He grabbed Hope Summers by the arm, and threw her onto the aircraft before she could react. Seth then sprinted back into the aircraft at Supersonic speed. The army of demons Seth summoned was keeping the X-Men busy as Iron Man's Avengers began their escape.

Talon turned to her Mandroids. "That Quinjet does not leave, destroy it if you have to." Talon jumped from the Bus and turned on her jetpack. She was followed by the Mandroids. The Mandroids began firing on the Quinjet's engines. Talon dove through the cockpit window. She destroyed the controls with her claws. "Tony you and the Avengers are to stand down by order of Director Fury. Kidnapping will not be tolerated no matter what. If you do not stand down every Avenger on every Avenger team will be classified as an accomplice." The entire time she talked the ship was being bombarded by the Mandroids. Talon contacted Director Fury. "Director Fury is giving you one chance to avoid jail time with the criminals you helped put away."

Storm using her powers threw Wolverine at the Quinjet. He cut his way in. Wolverine tore his way through the jet. With Wolverine & Talon nearby this allowed Hope to duplicate their powers she gained three bone claws in her hands and a single bone claw in each foot. Once Wolverine reached Hope he found her fighting back, Wolverine joined her.

Elisabeth walked out of the hair salon, admiring herself in its window for a moment. The absolute BEST part about this job was that she was finally able to do something with her hair, now that her identity was more or less just out there - at least out to the people she would have had to worry about before now. She still couldn't believe how much they had been willing to overlook when that SHIELD agent tracked her down and gave her the offer.

She could understand though. She was basically a god. She smiled... she could still see the fear in their eyes - subtle but there. There was no way to restrain her on a regular basis. Sure, they could try chaining her up. It wouldn't go so well for them. Electric shock collars? heh. Couldn't inject anything in her either. Still, she had no plans to turn on them. They paid well, both in fight quality, and in cold, hard cash. The list of people still to be registered included some real fun ones - Wolverine was on there somewhere: apparently the entire X-men team were a problem, there was a team going off to annoy them today. She had different, and much more local quarry to deal with today, however.

A Few Hours later...

Daredevil. The Devil of Hell's Kitchen. Some crazy blind dude beating people up in the slums. Call him what you want, he was one hell of an annoyance. Broke up a drug stint she was hired to protect once. Managed to get spider-man involved. Now that guy was an actual challenge. didn't fight fair with that goddamned webbing tripping her up. He seemed unaware of her powers and let her ramp up before they faced off, and it's the only reason she won - she knew he wouldn't be so dumb next time. Fortunately, he was on the side of Iron Man, so she knew he was really Peter Parker - and had potential outs that way if he switched sides. she shook her head as she headed off into a back alley, climbing up the fire escape of a building now that she was getting towards the slums. When she reached the top of the building, she took off her backpack, taking out her costume.

Her costume supplier really knew what he was doing with the jacket. she had no idea how he got it as durable as it was, and she wasn't gonna question that, for sure. She took off her sweater, and stuffed it into her backpack. Zipping up the jacket of the suit, she took off her jeans to reveal the tights underneath. Pulling her mask over her face, and then fixing her hair in a small mirror, she put on her sleeves and was ready. She'd heard through the grapevine that Bonehead was trying to pull off a stunt at a local bank, and that Daredevil had caught wind of it. It should just be ...three blocks away? And in about 10 minutes.

Force judged the distance between this building and the next. She could probably make it with a running start...

THUNK

Never mind she thought, landing in the alley between the two. She inhaled deeply, the impact from the landing turning her arms aglow. "Ahhhh...." These next few minutes were gonna be a BITCH to wait through now. On the bright side... she dug her hand into the brick siding of the building ...don't need the fire escape to get back up. She made the jump over the next few buildings until she was across from the bank in question, and waited.

A large explosion cued her that something was up, and the flash of a red clad man on another building showed her that her intel was right. Daredevil entered the building through the second floor, and she could see the flash of gunfire a few moments later, quickly stopping as, she guessed, he took the gunmen down. Showtime... she thought, jumping off of that building as well. She landed on someone's car - oops, she thought sarcastically - and walked in through the bank's front door.

The two goons of Bonehead's left in the lobby immediately opened fire on her, the bullets simply hitting her, losing all momentum, and dropping to the floor as she walked towards them. "I'm not your problem," she said, noticing Daredevil coming up from behind them. They turned but a moment too late, his billy club connecting with the head of the first, as he neatly rolled to the second, kneecapping him, knocking the gun out of the man's hand with his knee. He looked nervously towards Force. "My job, could manage it on my own."

"That's not why I'm here," She replied, really wishing he could see her new hair.

"Why then?"

She smiled devilishly. "As an unregistered crimefighter, you are acting in violation of the Fifty States Initiative. as an official operative of the SHIELD organization, I am therefore obligated to arrest you. Lay down your arms and come quietly.

But please don't, actually. I came here for a good fight."

"Thought they'd track me down eventually" he sighed, as he shot his grapnel towards Force. She caught it, and began pulling it towards her. He attempted to whip it out of her hand, but she was too powerful at this point, thanks to the gunfire from the goons. "Should have gotten down here quicker" she smiled as he was forced to let go. She threw away the batons, and he tried to make a break for it. she pointed her hand at him and shot off a quick beam of energy before chasing after him. It hit him in the side with quite a lot of force, and he stumbled for a moment - enough for her to catch up and tackle him.

"you really weren't a challenge," she sighed, as she bashed his face into the floor of the bank lobby. Pulling a pair of handcuffs out of a fanny pack like-pocket on the left side of her costume, she quickly restrained the unconscious man. Walking back across the room, carrying him in one hand, she grabbed his baton, and wrapped it around his legs. Pressing the communicator on her ear, she spoke to SHIELD headquarters. "Daredevil acquired, should be to the meeting point in 15 minutes," she said, beginning the walk towards a nearby warehouse, where a shield prison van should be waiting.

The Mandroids' firing became less and less accurate as they tried hitting the delicate parts of the Quinjet - until eventually, they stopped all-together and soon resumed fire on those whom were trying to stop Ironman and his group from escaping.

The audio-speakers soon were activated on the Mandroids. "Woohoo! Alrighty! Lets play Government Says! Government Says - stopping trying to act like you fucking own the world and think your above the rest of us. One vote per person! No more or less!" they spoke - in a tone, that sounded like a Asian-American gamer at that.

Farther away in the Stark Tower Complex - Ghost was having her first test-run in long-distance support. She wouldn't have been much use on the field, dealing with heroes whom could punch through concrete like paper. But farther away, Ghost could most definitely cause some damage. As she soon directed the Mandroids to hinder the Mutants and anybody else in the way of the Pro-Registration Avengers.

Namely one Talon, whom had destroyed the Quinjet' control system. "KNOCK! KNOCK!" she chirped, through a Mandroid, before clocking Talon over the head and hopefully out for good - that was one Captain' lackey ready for a cell. As she had another Mandroid get at Hope Summers - she couldn't copy something, if it was a machine. As it happened, Ghost also soon by-passed the security system onboard the Quinjet.

"12.78 seconds, this time Boss. Your updating is getting better," she teased - namely Tony Stark still thought he could create a firewall strong enough to keep her out of the Quinjet. So far - this was the longest he had managed to achieve. As soon enough, she had control of the Quinjet and remote access over the ship.

"Alrighty. Everybody strap-in, kick out the other stragglers and brace for take-off. I already have one engine unresponsive, so I'd prefer fighting kept to a minimum here!" she spoke, over the speakers inside the Quinjet. "So fight faster."

Things escalated very quickly that day.

It seemed to Blink that Iron Man’s team was targetting Hope Summers. How did they know the X-Men were calling upon the Phoenix? Is it possible that there was a traitor within them? Just thinking about it made her blood boil but for now she has to focus on the ongoing battle before her.

Cyclops attacked Iron Man with both leaders shouting their signature attack cries and that’s when the fight started. Blink moved to the back, observing the unfolding battle and thinking on how to turn the tides.

Just then, a portal appeared above and out came hordes of demons which only seemed to attack the X-Men. Blink scanned the area and found out that the Son of Satan was present alongside Deadpool.

Blink opened multiple portals among the demon horde to confuse them. She aided Cyclops by creating a portal in front of him that opened at a random spot within the horde so he can blast the enemies in surprise. She opened one portal just as a giant demon was bulldozing its way towards her. The giant demon went through the portal and trampled multiple demons as it exited.

She also made additional portals among the demon horde that opened at the bottom of the ocean. Huge amounts of water bursted out of the portals and crashed demons under pressure. Of course, she made sure that the X-Men and herself would be unaffected and closed the ocean portals as soon as she opened them.

She saw how Colossus rampaged through the army of demons and how he easily forced She-Hulk and Red-Hulk out of the way. An idea sprung into her head and Blink quickly made a portal and jumped through it. She found herself free-falling high into the air towards the sea below her. She saw She-Hulk and Red Hulk about to stand up and she immediately threw javelins at her side that opened portals beneath the two. The next thing they knew they were also free-falling beside her, both having a very confused and surprised look on their faces.

Blink managed to make a peace sign and stick her tongue out before opening a portal beneath her. She rolled first then kicked her feet out as she fell through the portal. The demon only managed a squeak of shock as Blink kicked the unsuspecting demon in the face. Blink rolled on the ground and when she regained her composure, she heard unmistakably loud splashes of water at the sea.

She also heard screams of pain and saw Colossus burning in a mysterious-looking fire that the Son of Satan made. Blink was very angry but she knew she had to take Colossus to safety first.

Blink jumped through a portal she made that opened at the gardens of Jean Grey School for Higher Learning. She opened another portal where Colossus fell through, still writhing and screaming in pain. She rushed to Colossus’s side as she called out for help. Officials of the school ran towards them and telling Blink that they’ll handle Colossus and she must return to the X-Men as soon as possible. Blink nodded and said her thanks as she made a portal and returned to the battlefield in a snap.
