Fire emblem's greatest strength is it's story, how all of your characters are just that rather than faceless goons like in say final fantasy tactics.

I agree, it adds a lot more to the experience if you can have your own creative input along side the game itself.

Also, waiting for the battle forecast to decide my next action. Given it's my knight against a mercenary though I am expecting overwhelmingly good odds in my favor.

"At her lord's command"? Please! Anyone who can read the flavor knows she did it entirely on her own! Except, well, if you're referring to "her lord" as being me the player and not Ayuna... Um, er, hahahahaha... Non-gameplay details! XD

... Do they change every round? And what happens if a character is standing on the bridge when it sinks?

Oh, man... Getting where you want on this is a challenge in itself, nevermind reaching the enemy... Hahahaha... Where's the flying units when you need one!? (didn't buy one) XD

Two of the four bridge groups will change at semi-random, preferring unoccupied bridges. If an occupied bridge falls, any non-flight units will be stranded in the water until the bridge comes back up. They can still fight but they can't move.

Apart from my rage at being dual-attacked this soon in the RP, I was wondering if there was a transfer command or if that's just "Pair" with (0,0) for coordinates.

Heh-heh. Maybe I'll challenge it sometime just because.

How did Takaho's fireball cause 6 damage? Her attack is 9, Destero's current Resistance with Iris is 7, she should cause 2 damage... ... Wait, she critted? It doesn't say anything about her critical stuff... ... ... I suppose she did! Either that, or you mistakenly read from Freeshooter's Lord's Resistance, or I've gotten the rules wrong! Hahaha!

Edit: Transfer? As in, transferring your secondary unit to someone else? No, I do not believe there is an option for that. The only way to switch partner is that you need to drop your current one, a move in itself, before another can join you or you can join another next turn. Either that or you just mean Swap, which exchanges the primary and secondary unit. I was actually kind of confused by your question. What kind of transfer?

Like transfer in Awakening, though if there is no command I'll just roll with it.

Edit: Yeah, there's no way that attack did 6 unless it was a crit, which if it was, there was no mention of.

Edit 2: Also, I would like to ask Light if he's using 2rn or 1rn for the rolls.

There is transfer in Awakening? What does it do?

If you mean the amount of dices, I believe he told me he is using a single one, not two and average. Meaning things that are 75% are actually 75%. Though I am unsure if that is what you meant.

If you have a paired secondary unit, you can transfer the secondary to another unit. If both units are paired, the two primary units swap partners.

Huh. And here I thought I'd played Awakening, at least until chapter like 13. I did not know that command existed. Do you like, unlock it at the fifteenth chapter or have I just completely inattentively missed it? XD

Why would they lock it? No, any time.

Also, I'm Kenshiro now. Gregor was nice, but he's never punched a tank into scrap.

Meaning I just completely missed it. Good going, me.

Well, I rarely use pairing anyway unless there is a desperate situation or if I want to make two units support with one another since I dislike how it restrains their movements, so I suppose that is why.

I like pairing because it basically gives me six super units instead of twelve good units. A fair trade. it also enhances survivability, and makes getting supports a breeze.

Eh, not good enough for me. When halving the number one efficiently square root the amount of movements one has available in a pinch. Also, it is unfriendly when trying to heal. If one unit is needed somewhere, the other cannot support somewhere else. Movement of units become a pain. It becomes harder to stabilize exp levels because units become restrained and it becomes more difficult to land the finishing blow you want. Besides, the upgrades one get are minor compared to the worth of actually having another. I mainly use pairing in a pinch (look at current situation) or for moving further than I could otherwise do (join a unit further ahead, the unit moves forward and drops immediately). Those are my thoughts, anyway.

Um. Olsted? You write in the flavor that Dain attacks with a "blade of wind"... Yet your commands say he attacks with Flux?

Until I gang-rape your unpaired, unprotected unit, thus denying you healing when she could be hiding behind a knight.
