HOW ARE THEY BEST RECOGNIZED IN A CROWD?
That fiery red hair, those smoldering steely-blue eyes, that teasing smile, the adorning 'baby unicorn horn,' that cleavage, that eye patch that may be worn sometimes and not always covering the same eye as when she last wore that eye patch.

WHAT IS A STRANGER'S FIRST IMPRESSION UPON MEETING THEM? HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER SEE THEMSELVES?
Reserved and watchful. A downward chin, eyes distant, yet always seeming to exude great poise and posture. A lonesome beauty lost in a brooding aura.

But they will see flashes of her true self: Forward, flirty and flowing. Izzy inititates contact once she meets someone, whether a handshake, eye contact or by simply comments; she does not always acknowledge another's personal boundaries. And do expect coy looks, sly winks, little giggles, pursed lips or chewed lower ones, even casual touches of your hand or shoulder. The redhead not only has the gift of gab but she seems to move a speak as if a song is coursing though her movements and actions.

Isabellia sees herself as a driven woman with lofty aims to find the ends to the Plague. But once upon a time she saw herself as captivating, desirable and quite the prize. She still knows the value of attracting bees with honey but the tactic will change to always get what she wants. But she feels herself quite the fraud most of the time and will sometimes break down after slapping herself several times. This mostly happens when she has to indulge and play with the male affections when she truly would rather indulge their wives or girlfriends.

WHERE DID THEY GROW UP? WHERE DO THEY FEEL AT HOME?
Coastal regions most of time, on a ship the rest of the time, yet Daemon Squall Pirate full time. The port that she and her clan dropped anchor the most was in a small fisher's town called Mo'tawabni. They loved her people there as did her people love the quaint little town. Also this little island was quite the hidden gem. This was the source of the 'spice' that the Daemon Squall Pirates dealt.

Izzy of course feels most at ease in the lush flora of an easy-breezy island setting where she can truly be comfortable and be who she really is. And of course she feels most rewarded once on the open seas, feeling that fulfillment of being given an important leadership role on her family's vessel, The Enchanting.

WHO are WERE THE MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN THEIR LIVES?
These are the ones that if asked, she would give her life for. No questions asked.
~Mother, Nikadia and Father, Borimos. Love, honour and respect. Great pirates. Even greater leaders.

~Brother, Callidae. Rivalry and competition. What an asshat but he was always there when she needed.

~Sisters, Iridanya and Iralassi. Little things to boss around and adorable twin minions. They grew bigger than her now but still she has them under her thumb. ‘Dorbs…!

~Of course, she is closest to her Father's Sister, Velissima. Her aunt was instrumental in guiding her to be a smart, proud and strong woman on deck and off. Without Velissima, Izzy no doubt, would never have garnished much respect on any vessel.

~Her best friend is was her cousin Kavanika. The trouble they got into when they were younger. The legendary and epic status fights they got into. The unbreakable bond between the two. Inseparable. No matter the hardships or problems between them, they would always find a common ground to reconcile. Besties, nyarr!!

WHAT IS THEIR PROFESSION, SKILL OR LIFESTYLE?

WHAT DO THEY THINK THEIR STRENGTHS ARE? WHAT ARE THEIR ACTUAL STRENGTHS?
She was born to command the spot light. She was raised to get what she wants. She learned the value of strength in numbers, an even greater lesson in loyalty, yet what stuck with her most of all; blood is thicker than water. Captain’s are called Flames in this family and they grow fire. A great physique with even greater charisma. A gift of gab and a tight left jab. Expert Sea-person. Expert ship commander. Expert Pirate.

Actual strength she does not realize? She is the most powerful when she inspires with words. She thinks people love her because of her looks and mannerisms; she acts like an Expert Pirate. No, it Is because she commands a confident presence and it bleeds into her followers. ‘I am the unequalled Flame. No one strays from the Fire. Ever.’ Those that follow her believe this; even more than that they want to believe this.

Izzy also has razor sharp awareness. She does not realize how keen her senses are and those little things she picks up on subconsciously actually enhance her manipulations of others. The lass also seems to have a kind of ‘danger sense’ and that gives her tremendous reaction time and reflexes. If she could focus on this strength and not passively let it run its course, she could actually raise her game from a competent combatant to that of a deadly striker.

WHAT ARE THEIR FEARS, FLAWS AND SECRETS?
Her greatest fear has already been realized; all those she loved have died and there was not a single damned thing she could do about it. How do you go on when you see the ones you love slowly succumb to the Sea-Devil herself in their bodies and minds. They were chained up till their death. They did not know her anymore. They wanted her dead… and in the end she felt the same about them. Her beloved family she had known and loved since birth; she wanted them to die. How do you go on?

But such a fate can only traumatize. Izzy fears to ever get close enough to anyone to love them again… and then only to lose them. She fears ever being only a witness to atrocity and being helpless to do a single thing to help. But what she fears the most is that she will stop caring about anything at all. But oh, that apathy does it ever creep into her life now.

The swagger she once held, she has lost, and in its place is a much more cold and demanding thing. Yes, she has quick reaction speed, but that reaction is now much more wild… violent even. Less thought and consideration is placed in her actions and interactions. But her greatest of flaws now is that to get things done now, she feels she must do things on her own. Yet even greater than that, the flaw she does not realize— perhaps she does— is that she was very, very, very dependant on her family to make her feel safe, comfortable and worth the very breath she speaks.

And if it was not apparent, one big secret is that she is still in the closet about her sexual orientation. Another secret is that Izzy would rather opt for a mercy kill; she would incinerate the plague victims rather than save them as of now.

WHAT DO THEY WANT MOST? WHAT DO THEY ACTUALLY NEED?
Vengeance. Reciprocation. Due Justice. What ever it is called… it is the source of this plague that needs to be stopped and a cure must be found at all costs.

But what she really needs is love. Isabellia needs to love again. She needs the love of another— no, most likely she needs the love of others. But most of all, she needs to shed this newborn shell of misery and love herself again.

IF YOUR CHARACTER COULD HAVE ANY SUPERNATURAL ABILITY, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Once upon a time, when people she loved called her Zebell, the girl wondered what it would be like to swim and breath like a fish and be able to speak with all other life forms in the sea. Actually, that’s not completely true. It never was but merely once a girl wondered about such things… it has always been her fancy till this day.

HOW HAS THE PLAGUE AFFECTED THEM? WHY ARE THEY ABOARD THE LEGEND'S FORGERY?
There is never a day that will go by that she will not be affected by this atrocity. Please see above about how damaged she has become; she no longer believes that she is the Flame.

When you are the last alive on your family’s vessel... When you are the only witness to such unimaginable depths of despair, misery and shame… Isabellia Courtana Faunarios, the Flame and final captain of pirate vessel, The Enchanting, tossed herself into the seas to find a final peace. She was rescued and revived by the stalwart and worthy of the Legend’s Forgery.

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THIS CHARACTER CHANGE AND DEVELOP?
Izzy is now a shell of her former vivacious and charismatic self. The path from what she is now and back to what she was previously is my goal. This however is bare minimum. For true redemption, she must command a loyal legion of sailors once more. This is not a pirate’s retread to glory. No, this is Isabellia’s journey to re-ignite the Flame and set the world on fire.

PITCH A SMALL SUBPLOT THAT WOULD BE PERSONALLY MEANINGFUL TO YOUR CHARACTER
Where is O’maunaa? This was the girl of similar age that she spent much time with at the fisher town of Mo'tawabni. What would happen if this girl became queen of her people and took over neighbouring isles? What would happen if they saw each other again. The roles of the ‘little savage’ and the ‘entitled princess’ reversed now. What if O’mauanaa still loved Izzy...? What if this was a spark to ignite the fire of the redhead Flame once more?
