Albert's Anima Banner is a vivid aurora borealis of gold and leaf-green colors that shifts into a holographic forest of gold and green trees as more motes of energy are invested.
Limit Break: Being captured, imprisoned, chained, restrained for longer than a few seconds, or otherwise being in the power of another being against his will.
The expression of said limit break is an overwhelming sense of despair and an urge to do the will of the person who restrained or coerced him.

Skills:Albert's strongest area is sorcery and magic; he has paid the price to attain the Terrestrial Circle of Sorcery by a pact with the Elemental Lord of Fire. His next strongest his skill in craftsmanship, both mundane and magical. Despite his seemingly weak build, he can repair almost every mundane and magical item, including a few Artifacts. His third best is in Medicine, as he can cure diseases both mundane and mystic. After that is a fairly even spread between knowledge of history, knowledge of athletics (although some say he cheated with magic), and knowledge on how to use thrown and light melee weapons.
He also knows some bureaucracy, stealth, magically better endurance and physical resistance than most mortals, and can resist having his personal form altered magically. Oh, and has decent investigation.

- My Adoptive Mother, Astrea: Heir to Salina's Legacy. (Major, Positive).
Personality: A few words or sentences to describe your character, but short enough to allow for heavy character development.
Albert is naturally skeptical of the idea that legitimate differences in power, intelligence, and physical attributes entitle one to preferment. To him, abuse against the innocent is wrong, period; it is even more wrong if it is part of a system. He has no truck with philosophical systems or political theories that amount to 'oppressing the weak', and prefers that people live life in happiness and peace. Despite this, he is no anarchist; he beleives that strength and the organization of strength are needed to protect the weak. However, safeguards and safety valves need to be placed in any political system, just like they are placed in machines.
Biography: Albert was born in an obscure kingdom in the Scavenger Lands, to a family of merchants. Thus, the boy learned literacy and basic maths, and was able to afford books of stories, lore, and history. However, he did not seem destined for greatness until another, larger kingdom attacked, ravaging the countryside and besieging the capital city, which held out for several months before finally falling to the ravenous hordes. Even then, he didn't seem fated for more than being just another slave, especially after his father was killed for his money by the opposing kingdom's troops while he himself was taken to the Guild merchants who had followed the conquering army.
He was thirteen then, and his life seemed over. Then one of the Guild personnel, a tall man clad in finer clothes than Albert or his father can afford, came towards him and said, "I have a client who wants smart children. Smart, discreete children who are still innocent. So if you want to avoid the worst parts of being a slave, come with me. Otherwise, you can stay here and suffer."
Albert wasn't foolish; he knew what awaited him at the slave markets of Nexus. So he accepted the mysterious Guildsman's offer, and he was led to another cart, which then wheeled around to turn north. There, he and a few other children were transferred to another vehicle, then another, and so on until they lost all sense of direction.
Finally, the group's current vehicle ended up in a city of gears and pistons, where great engines whose names were unknown to him operated. There, a woman with long hair that was colored like mixed orichalcum and moonsilver who simple but clean robes went towards him and the other children, who had been herded to join a crowd of other young slaves. She would then introduce herself, "My name is Astrea: Heir to Salina's Legacy, chosen of the Unconquered Sun. And I intend to free you."
It turns out, Astrea was one of the 'Anathema', but Albert can hardly care. She was also the third incarnation of Salina, a Solar Exalted from the First Age who had successfully tricked her fellow Exalted into rewriting reality to grant Sorcery to Mortals who worked hard enough. Now
that awed Albert. Astrea was more willing to work 'within the system' than Salina was, even to the point of buying slaves to free them immediately afterwards, but hated abuse of authority and power just as much as Salina did; perhaps even more
because she didn't believe that people were innately good like her previous incarnation had.
And so, for several months, Albert learned more lore of magic and technology from Astrea than most people (even Exalted) could in a lifetime. His sense of gratitude grew and grew, especially as he and the other children noticed that Perpetuator, although she put up a strong and maternal front, was sick with...something. Said something was a Wyld Cancer gained from a trip to the borders of Creation And as soon as he realized this, Albert knew he had to do something; this kind and generous woman could not be allowed to die!
So the young man waited till Astrea was sleeping, being exhausted because of the strain fo fighting the disease. Taking the hazard suit he and all the other children had been given, and grasping some anastethic and a set of fine tools made in the First Age itself, he went to work on Astrea's sickened body, trying to root out the Wyld Cancer. He should have failed. He
would have failed if not for a convinient Pattern Spider. And so, when Astrea woke up, it was to find her disease cured and Albert a Solar Exalt.
Thanking him heartily, Astrea asked the young man what he wanted in return. The response was: "To help you. And to help people so that those who are more powerful do not harm those who are not."
The response was a smile, and Albert stayed several months more. Then, after successfully learning Sorcery, he left.
Other: Albert likes both genders, but unlike my previous RPs,
this is immaterial. Albert will not romance anyone in this game.
