rebornfan320 Always looking for RP partners

Well why do I roleplay? I do it for the fun and for the creativity i want to share amongst people with varied minds. Writing can be seen as creative and I love logic. Plus i write fanfiction as well so that is another thing I can attribute to my reasons. I have a active imagination and it seems to not stop sometimes so i roleplay to help with that. I play games and read so i get moved by what had transpired. It's the creation of characters, the exploration of the character's world, plus I am an introvert so i rather sometimes interact with people away from there if they do not find anything interesting about me. Novels, video games and anime also motivate me to roleplay as well based on their worlds and what I like.

I do not roleplay on forums but by PM's.

A creative dump mostly when drawing isn't an option. Writing for me started years ago when I was playing tabletop D&D & V:TM and outlining plots, creating characters etc, which would then inspire me to draw the character (and sometimes scenarios) based on the descriptions.

While I don't have nearly the time I did, RPing is always a great way to express yourself as creatively as you can, even if it's only to entertain yourself.

I like world building and roleplay is another way to keep me sharp for writing stories and maybe one day write my own books.

Recently got back into roleplaying before I age out of the hobby.

Yet another reason I delve into roleplaying is that frankly, stores by themselves are entertaining and all in some cases, but having the dynamic of another independent agent with free will is far more exciting, namely so if there is more than one variable. Now, this obviously can range from a non-factor, such as players who contribute very little in terms of character, involvement, or development, to outright frustrating by those who are too overbearing or problematic. The fine niche in between is the rarest and most difficult, where it is a pleasure to be awaiting a response because it shakes up and alters the chemistry and dynamic, but at the same time is not based upon waiting too long and does not consistently or continually disappoint.

While writing along and alone I can always invent a plot or story that plays by itself quite well, it hasn't that true depth of freedom another player, or rather players, afford. The downside is, is that one becomes reliant on them to actually participate. Admittedly I would much rather have a mediocre partner who posts frequently than an amazing partner who posts rarely. Why? Because one I can work with - with an average company who is consistent, I can still keep the story flowing and twist, bend, turn, and change it as I whim within my limits. With the other I spend days, weeks, perhaps even months awaiting something I now need deconstruct then continue with again, then find myself in a void awaiting another reply.

That is another reason I so choose to roleplay rather than write alone, to get that social dynamic going. Sadly, that is all too rare.

Roleplay writing allows the writer to simulate different circumstances, this often leads to reading materials outside the boundary of the writer's everyday routine in pursuit of more accurate portrayal. Such as discovering the continental movements and depicting how a world might have changed realistically, then translating that into the roleplay while learning in real life.

I've really just started roleplaying, but since it's based around creative writing I know that I love the endless possibilities of it and the fact that it can go on for any duration. Forming worlds, entering charater's minds, and maybe above all is the fact that you do it with other people who can alter the outcome of your story.

I roleplay because I love writing and I love making friends that I share hobbies with.

Specifically, as an anime roleplayer, roleplaying allows me to continue or elaborate on stories that I already love. Writer's block is a real issue if I try to write my own fanfictions and once that hits, I give up and never finish. Having that other person to bounce ideas off of keeps me focused and motivated.

Well, gotta use the world building notes for something.

Not to mention it's a slow paced hobby when in NRP or Advanced, so it isn't that intrusive as long as you don't join many.
