I'll go in more detail later if there's interest but I wanted to go ahead and throw an idea out there for an RP.



With that summary out of the way what I want to do is an rp roughly inspired by the show. It will take place in the same world as Tokyo Ghoul though not Tokyo so the show's events will have little effect on our story. My focus with this particular rp would be on the Organizations that are formed. You have "friendly" Ghoul groups like Anteiku, and more hostile ones like Aogiri Tree. There's human groups like the CCG as well. Essentially the RP would work like a Mafia & Cop one with a Tokyo Ghoul skin. Each organization will have ghouls and the members of each organization (the players) will be working within their organization to pursue those goals.

What do you guys think, interested? If there are enough people into it I'll flesh out some more details. Also if you're interested say what kind of organization you'd be most likely to join, a firendly Anteiku-like one, a more hostile Aogiri one, or the CCG. Also we'll be starting out as more low rank members of the related group and work our way up. I've listed the Ghoul ranks below and a link to the CCG ranks.



CCG Ranks

I binge-watched the entire show two nights ago, so I'd say I'm pretty interested. That anime is so addictive, I wouldn't have thought so prior to watching it. If I had to make a character for a given organization, I'd like something similar to Anteiku.

@Denduris I binged it a few months back and then two weeks later grabbed my brother and binged it again. It's awesome. Saw season 3, ep 1 is on Hulu but I'll wait for an English dub of the whole season.

@dreamer I'm slowly, agonizingly watching it over on 9anime. It'd be best to wait and watch it all at once, but I was so hooked by it a couple nights back that I can't let it go now. Additionally, I'd like to add that if there isn't too much interest beyond ourselves (I doubt it), I'd be willing to do a one-on-one.

It was something I was more so interested in doing with a group to have it work the way I wanted. If there isn't a lot of interest in the Tokyo Ghoul aspect I rather be in a different rp atm.

That's okay, I was only offering it as an option. You've got your plan, and I respect that in full.

tokyo ghoul is my favorite anime of all time and i have all the manga's from S1 together now and im trying to get the Re serie as well and today comes episode 2 of the re serie :3

Oh wow that interest turned around haha. Sorry I was gone, thought the idea died in the water.

EDIT: I'm pretty open to ideas for this one. Let's discuss some of the details.

Location: I was thinking we could be US based but if you guys have ideas of where the rp could take place I'm all ears. (Just not Japan so we're not tied to the events of that story)

Society: This goes along with the location, I'm not sure if the manga goes in more detail about how places outside of Tokyo deal with ghouls but we could have different takes on how they would respond. Perhaps there's not just the CCG out there, there could be human groups both hostile and friendly towards ghouls. We'll be playing the part of the ghoul organizations mostly but groups like the CCG will have a major impact on our stories. Feel free to throw some ideas out there.

Teams: Do you guys essentially want to have teams based on what ghoul organizations we come up with? Seems like there's seven of us so far so two organizations/teams seems best to begin with.

i have the manga compleet from the first season and there is only 2-3 ghoul groups and the CCG
