Thymund White

Thymund would remain vigilant as he made his way forward with Erin. His thoughts were well hidden behind his indifferent facial expression, however his eyes and ears were kept well open as the journey quickly drew near a place he was well more than familiar with. “Ah, I see you are still breaking rules. Can you at least be polite to a new arrival? She has had quite the long day and simply wishes to know why she is here.” It was unclear if Thymund was serious, or if he was openly mocking Erin. Given his body language the girl was more than safe standing beside her.

Thymund accepted nathanials greeting, although he did not seem to like being called brother by this individual, he let it go. “She is no snack, just to make sure that I am clear. At least, I was not informed that she was. You know that is not our decision, even if you would otherwise enjoy the choice.” Thymund seemed lax as he spoke, as though his guard was lowered.

The male- Nathaniel- snorted. "I breaking the rules placed upon me? Never!" The fae's eyes were eerie as they swirled with silver and grey. Cocking his head, Darkwing lowered his torso so he could stare up at Erin's face. A toothy smile forming on his own. "The poor dear wants answers?" Rising to his proper height, the man looked at Thymund with a innocent expression. "Why of course she is not a snack! That would be a prisoner! Not a indentured servant by Fae Law. Though the other Law does leave that up for the strongest to decide..." The newcomer looked at Erin again, with a forlorn sigh. Flipping his hand, a silvery smoke grew about Erin before it dissipated. Making sure he was standing well back as the explanation quickly came. Nathaniel was not the stronger of the two here and he knew it.

"I sent her to the Quarters is all! She'll be absolutely fine there! Well, except if she for some random reasons decides to stab herself in the eye with a fork! Before you decide I'm next on the menu!" Nathaniel raised a hand as if to ward off the oncoming proverbial fork. "Do remember who you are mated to. She will not take kindly if you slay me... Brother." The last word turned the panicked explanation into a dart. Nathaniel had never agreed with his sister's choice of mate, but he did not get that say. The Law of their kind prohibited the weaker from rights that under other Law would be granted. Such was the Way of the Strong. A law that was no such thing, yet was.

-Location: Court of Nightmares/Servant Quarters-

Noah would find himself not left alone to his chagrin. For over the way, swaying back and forth came a small ball of light. A chiming noise from within. It seemed to skate across the surface of the pool. It's voice singing a old rhyme as it skated about. The sprite was not a large creature, no bigger than a butterfly and with as much grace.

"Old were the mountains,
Great and tall!
Young were the trees,
Weak and small!
But the trees did grow,
The stone did last!
Till the night fell,
Till the wind blast!
Then shadow came,
And we did weep.
For our King!
He did sleep!
Woke he did!
Bumped his head!
But we were happy!
He weren't dead!"

Giggling the little sprite, wasn't watching where it was going thus it gave a squeal as it rebounded off of Noah. Skipping back across the water and landing on a small lily pad. Noah would have most likely not felt a thing. But the sprite blinked at the human and clapped it's little hands in glee. For there was a human figure within the light. Though it contained no features. "Human! Human! A indentured human! You are new! You are different!" The sprite chimed with gleeful excitement. Seeming to forget it's former rebound.

However, in the main common room. The Fox has been summoned away by the Lord of the UnSeelie and thus is no longer there to give answer or accept insult. The flushing red Clarice barely able to keep from curling her lip at the harsh words of the kitsune. Narrowing her eyes at Belle, she bared her teeth- but a clear voice rang out before Clarice could say more. "You do yourself no favors, Clarice Eckle. This girl is new to the Fae Realm is that not obvious? Your words are cruel and her service to you will not be given. I forbid it. Lest you wish to challenge my word?" A raven haired woman no older than sixteen glared at the red head, her hair let to fall loose around a victorian styled dress, her blue eyes gleaming with fevered annoyance. Clarice looked ready to speak against, but the stranger's next words cut her off. "Do you wish me to bring this to the attention of High Lord of the UnSeelie?" Clarice's mouth snapped shut as her little gathering of women seemed to draw away from her.

Turning on her heels the Red head stormed from the room with a spat at Esla. "Keep the dress!" Watching her go, the woman who had spoken so sharply to the red headed trouble maker, turned and walked from the common room after Clarice. Not bothering to spare a glance towards Elsa. Her face seeming slightly drawn and her brow furrowed. Elsa would see the elderly woman in the corner gesture for the poor lass who had been caught in a ugly situation to join her.

Elsa had no idea what just happened. A woman she had not seen before actually stepped up to point out the injustice that was occurring. Elsa hadn't thought such a thing was possible in this place. After pissing off Lady Bitch the woman left before Elsa could even attempt to thank her for her help. She looked after her in wonder. The woman was absolutely beautiful. Who was she that she had such great influence and power here? For the first time in a long time, Elsa felt overwhelmingly curious.
That was the kind of position she hoped to have one day : secure enough to call people on their shit.

The old woman who had been taking notes beckoned Elsa over. Obeying the summons, she approached bewildered. "I wish I could have thanked her. I appreciate her helping me when she didn't have to," she said then realized she was being rude. "I'm sorry. My name is Elsa. May I ask yours?"

After introductions Elsa inclined her head curiously. "I near meant to cause all of this. I should have never assumed anything in this place. Would you please help me understand what I am supposed to do? I really do not want a repeat of this with someone more dangerous."

Elsa wondered when they were supposed to meet the King of the Unseelie. She was getting anxious to know what her place would be. Growing up in foster care the worst was not knowing. Would you stay in this home or be moved? Would they be kind or not? Would they decide they didn't like you and toss you out like garbage? Every time to social worker came was anxiety. Would this be the time she took you from one hell hole to another, worse one?
The unknown was the most terrifying thing. No monster could compare.

Thymund White

Thymund would look to where Erin was only moments before as Nathaniel had removed her without his permission. Nathaniel’s quick explanation would be met with a fading smile, especially when he made mention that it would be against Thymund’s interest to harm him. Thymund would take a single step forward as Nathaniel would dart away. He had always wondered why Nathaniel was so eager in his attempts to anger him. A favor lost? No, Thymund was not so quick to let such rare things pass. He would not forget this and, fully expecting to be repaid, would remain silent.

Thymund would begin to make his way back through the lower quarter. He would walk with a relaxed posture, eyes wandering through the crowd as he observed the various persons meandering about. He was not wearing a disguise due to the earlier incident, however he knew that most individuals here knew of his reputation. His eyes were searching for any familiar faces that may be wanted among the courts. He was also one to frequent street vendors, often glancing over the wares of anyone who happened to near him.

Noah Griffin

Noah’s heart began to drop from its racing pace. Its influence spread to his lungs and nerves, reining them back under his control. The fear had been his companion throughout the journey. Clinging to him, he felt its weight upon his shoulders and claws in his back. It drove him deeper into the water’s depths. The levels rose to climb across his towering figure as it threatened to pull him down into its lethargical embrace. About waist deep in, the man’s attention caught the ballad sung across the water’s surface.

"Old were the mountains,

Great and tall!

Young were the trees,

Weak and small!

But the trees did grow,

The stone did last!

Till the night fell,

Till the wind blast!

Then shadow came,

And we did weep.

For our King!

He did sleep!

Woke he did!

Bumped his head!

But we were happy!

He weren't dead!"

Noah's eyes traveled to the source.

Through the pool's heat, a small bright orb darted into view. It skated across the water, barely unsettled its surface on its path toward him. Noah’s neck hairs stood upright upon watching the display. Instinctively, he retreated to the closest edge. At this rate, he was never going to get himself properly washed and should just cut his losses. He only heard the sprite skim across the water after she hit him. The sound was enough to cause him to pause midway out, lowering back down against his better judgment. His eyes looked over his right shoulder to spot the almost humanoid creature-now sitting on a lilypad- blink then clap at her discovery.

"Human! Human! A indentured human! You are new! You are different!"

What else would I be? Noah's mind sarcastically shot back. No words passed his lips since he was smarter than to sass what he couldn't understand. The desire to escape stilled as his back remained turned and hands rested on the edge. He was simply stopped by the question if such an action would provoke the resident of this world, not wanting farther trouble to haunt him.

-Location: Under the Mountain/ Lower Quarter-

@Forett Thymund would be walking through the Lower Quarter where he notices a figure heading towards one of the higher bridges in the Lower Quarter that lead to the High Road and thus the Dark Tower. The true court of the UnSeelie Fae and the seat of the High King when he was in residence. Thymund would also know this as one of Falk's Hands. General Kaeleer Savant. And someone his mate- Jessamine Darkwing- had been keeping a eye on and a keen ear out for. Though she never really stated as to why, other than it was never in desire. He wasn't of Jessamine's type after all. Highly valuing any information about the General Savant. A pop fizzles under Thymund's muzzle as a piece of parchment whirls out of shadow. "I require your presence in the Dark Tower's Grand Hall, if you would. -Falk"

[@Fallen Trinity] A message had been delivered to you. Message in as so much as a command from Falk to come to the Dark Tower could be considered a message. There was always the option of refusal, if refusal was desperately needed. But refusal was not something one lightly gave the King of the UnSeelie and for good reason. However, Kaeleer might recognize a familiar face in the crowds of the Lower Quarter. The slums and essentially rowdier part of Under the Mountain. Thymund White. He who was mated to Jessamine Darkwing. A being that often kept a eye on Kaeleer when he was in the City of Sky- Versailles. A woman of some beauty and who kept staring at him oddly. Kaeleer would know Thymund as a 'man' of integrity and part of Falk's unofficial third hand.

-Location: Court of Nightmares/Servant Quarters-

@Belle The elderly woman was kindly woman. Willowy and thin. She had aged elegantly, but there was a tremor in her hands and a weakness to her breathe. Giving Elsa a raised brow the woman, clucked her tongue slightly. "You should not give your name out so lightly, Elsa." Her admonishment was well meant but her tone was kind. Shaking her head at the young woman's foolishness, the woman clucked her tongue again. "Names are something special here and they hold power to the Fae and those within their realms. You may call me Bianca, and no that is not my actual name, but it is merely a childhood nickname. Something I chose when the Lord of Horse spirited me away from the battlefield. Blessing upon Arik for that." The woman smiled at the memory before continuing her work.

Elsa might note that while Bianca might be taking notes as she might have thought but was writing in some strange language. The elderly woman however continued talking, her hand continuing to jot down the strange words. "And you are very correct. This is not a place to assume anything. The Fae Under The Mountain are vicious creatures. Unlike the Seasonal Courts. Where you were supposed to go I gather, but the High Lord had business here. It's just as well, I suppose." Giving Elsa a stern look the woman eyed her dress with distaste. "You wish to know what you are to do here as though you've not a clue?" Blotting away some of the ink from the book, the knobby fingers set the pen in the inkwell that was sitting next to her. "Did you think of nothing? Pay no attention to the tales of the Fae? Just willy-nilly make a deal with them." Shaking her head the woman tutted. "You were brought here to pay the debt for the favor you asked for."

@Fallenreaper The little sprite peered up at Noah curiously. Tilting it's little head, the once exicted orb looked terribly confused. "Why leaving? Does not need to wash?" The chiming and giggling voice was toned down and the little sprite skimmed over to perch on the ledge of the pool. The tiny feet brushing back and forth in the water. It's body was generally gender less save the delicate grace about it that might hint on it being female. "Does need help? Scented oils? Lotions? Flowers? Feathers?" The little sprite offered, holding a giant bubble as big as it was and offering it to Noah with a very proud smile. "Bubbles! Bubbles to help the human!"

Thymund White

Thymund would fold the letter after reading it, sliding the parchment into what would appear to be thin air. He had been summoned by Falk to the Dark tower. How convenient it was that a person of interest was heading the same direction. Kaeleer Savant, A general if Thymund remembered correctly, was making his way to the highroads. Jessamine did not often show interest in people. When she did it was normally nothing of consequence, however it also never lasted for long. This individual had broken these bounds and in doing so had captured Thymund’s attention.

Thymund would notice that he was not being sneaky around the same time the individual spotted him. Without secrecy there was little point in attempting to change face. Thymund would begin to approach Kaeleer openly. He was on the path Thymund had to take, and why travel alone? “What an interesting face to see so far away from home.” Thymund’s usual tone would crisp the air as he spoke near Kaeleer. “A pleasure to know that it is a familiar one, Kaeleer. I wonder if you are going to the same place I am.” Thymund would say after allowing Kaeleer to see who is speaking to him. If Kaeleer did not stop walking, Thymund would keep pace so long as his path stayed on course with the Dark tower.

@Forett

The Timeless Fields of Elysium held no quarter to past or present. It was a section of the Faewild that seemed to stretch on infinitely, the everlasting sun above and cool breeze reflected the beauty of the faewild and simply complemented by the history that littered its fields. Some within the Fae, Fae creatures and freed humans of the like, had made homes in some places along the fields, aquiring the benefits it offered, such as prolonged life. Objects and people of the human world which had the misfortune of finding themselves on the rolling sea like grass of these plains never found age or corrosion. They remained as they were, magically intact by the mana that flowed through the tall weeds and grass. U.S Navy flight 19, Captain Henry Every's treasured ship and many others scattered the miles upon miles of historical stories and myths. even the poor souls of these disappearances remained, no decay showed despite their age.

In this field a man, whose body emanated smoke knelt down in one of the many clearings like a black flame in the light. The smoke seemed to defy the wind, hugging close to its body, only to violent whip around with each gust of wind like a long ethereal cloak. Glowing gold eyes peered down at a bloodied mess of a human as crimson ichor dripped off its long blade onto the ground. The poor soul equaled a gaze with a cat-like eye. Its arm cut off, leg torn asunder and an eye that was no more. It was dying.

"This is not over Kaeleer. Though I may fall, another shall take my place and continue my work. You fae are nothing more than imitation of man. You will never know sympathy, empathy, love. You will remain as a creature of violence and misfor-"

"An imitation of man? You are mistaken, Witcher. Man is weak, hopeless, bound to rules dictated by others who are weak and hopeless. The blind leading the blind as it so implies." His words were cold and calculating. Disgusted eyes glanced towards a ship that rested not to far from where they stood.

"And you think you are different Hound!? You, who is chained to a being of malevolence and power dare call me blind. One should take a look into his own reflection in order to see the cold truth." Kaeleer cocked his head to the side and smirked.

"You are right. He is of power and as such I follow him out of my own free choice to do so. You however, bound by your oaths and codes will never know freedom. Only the imitation of such... I grow bored of this talk as enjoyable as it was." Kaeleer rose tall as the other figure struggled to move. Clinging onto whatever life was left. The gentle hands of death slowly crept over the witcher's eye as darkness began to take hold. It was almost time, its thread of fate nearly severed.

"You will die here, Witcher, in the Fields of Elysium. You will not rot, the worms will not feast but your soul will remain, never to cross over. Farewell, Witcher." Before a quip or remark could be made, a heavy thunk was heard as the head of the human rolled away only inches from the body. The figure with a flick of his blade, cleared the remaining life essence of the being. Whatever remained was absorbed into the blade itself. The smoke around his body soon dismissed itself and he turned towards his home in the fall court but not before turning his head back towards the body.

"On the matter of sympathy, empathy and love. It is not that I do not feel them...I find them to be...distracting." "With that he leapt forward, his body shifting into his hellhound form, his paws connecting with the earth hard enough to rumble the nearby structures. As he ran, a voice pulled at his mind and he opened himself to it.

The Fall King himself. Had it been any other such as Yin or any of the others, he would not give it thought. But as he recognized the smooth, analytical tone of his King, he must answer. With a snarl and bark, which shook the nearby objects that littered the fields he took off in a full sprint, his fur slowly grew longer and much like before when he knelt over the human, it trailed of smoke. In only few moments his visage howled into whirlwind of black and grey and launched forward into the approaching forest. Time progressed and he soon found himself once again Under the Mountain. The creature that stood guard glaring at him, though the glare did not phase him. He was on business now for the King and no one, not even a wall crawler such as her would stop him. It was a thing to note that Kaeleer, when on business for the King, did not take kindly to those trying to delay him. Even so much as brushing into him could cause one to find themselves in manacles or worse. His steps echoed through the open caverns as he made his way along the High road that lead to the tower. Usually, any voice that called to him would fall on deaf ears, but very few could get through.

“What an interesting face to see so far away from home.” Kaeleer slowed as he glanced behind him, to see the source of this intrusion on his business.

“A pleasure to know that it is a familiar one, Kaeleer. I wonder if you are going to the same place I am.” He leaned his head back lightly and took in the familiar sight, his stoic look remained save for the faintest of smirks.

"Thymund, a familiar face indeed. It has been some time since we had last met, though I assume you have had your share of work to do." Kaeleer patted him on the shoulder with a nod and turned sharply back towards the tower.

"I do not see you often in the Kings hall save for special occasions or the dawn before something significant. What omen brings your presence I wonder..." Even as they walked together, Kaeleer had to slow his pace, his size towered over most of the fae and thus walking along side others was difficult...and time consuming. He would prefer to walk ahead or simply beast shape to quicken the pace but he kept those thoughts silent or hidden behind stoic features. Nevertheless, his walk held authority and rigor, as a general's should.

"I was surprised you did not attend the gathering. We had a human whose mouth reminded me of an endless river, but whose contents held poison. She dared to speak out of place and disrespected Faulk. So as an interesting punishment, we set her free, only for Yin to retrieve her. I saw it to be amusing." The twitch of a smirk showed.

"Digressing from before. You said you were requested by the Fall King himself correct?" He asked, glancing down at Thymund.

Noah Griffin

Noah had pressed against the pool’s edge now. It was obvious he wasn’t clean by a long shot. Grim still clung to his dark skin, barely hidden by his complexion, as he listened to the sprite’s cheerfulness tone down notably. He wasn’t sure if that a good or bad thing. Her-his mind set on the fairer gender- demeanor reminded him of a child for the most part. The only thing breaking that illusion was the fact she had no specific facial features and her figure was far too small. He estimated he could easily lift her up in his large hand then toss her several feet without breaking a sweat. Not that he would.

It made him uncomfortable in a completely different way than the fox.

Things weren’t always as they seemed. As if prompted, Noah’s mind unearthed prior memories. They shifted from the Kitsune’s ripping off his face to a cat-eyed woman grinning at him. Her fingernails seemed to dig past the coat, the flesh and into his very core. His soul.

Everything he has seen or heard made him question what type of place this was. Aside from being a very, very dangerous one.

Noah cast off the fear tingling along his skin when the sprite held out a bubble toward him. He frowned a bit as he held out his hand, palm upwards, to make a makeshift table for her. Beyond that, it wasn’t meant to be an accepting gesture at all.

“Soap would do better,” He countered quietly at her comment.

It was more of an obvious fact as he glanced down at himself, noticing how filthy he was.

Elsa listened carefully to the old woman who seemed much older than a human normally got. Did the Fae world lengthen your life? Did time work differently here? Or was your life span in the hands of the Fae King, made longer or shorter at his whim? So many questions...

She cocked her head in confusion. "Deal? I didn't make any deal? Not that I know of at least..." she thought aloud, trying to make sense of everything. "I was playing the piano then I woke up in the Fae world," she said, shaking her head. "I have never heard any stories about the Fae, at least none that Disney hasn't bastardized into sappy musicals where everyone always gets a happy ending, good always triumphs over evil and spells are broken by true love's kiss from someone you just met. Utterly stupid," she said, shaking her head in disgust. "I did read Grimm's Fairy Tales. They were more dark."

Elsa thought hard. "What deal could I have made? I really don't know. I was playing my favorite piece... I was thinking about how the music made me feel... and how horrible my life had been up to that point... I think I... I think I may have wished that I had a different life, away from the people who turned me into the broken person I am. Would that have been considered a deal?" She wondered aloud.

"I appreciate your advice," she told Bianca. "I would love to learn more from you, if I could. Anything to help me survive as you have."

Thymund White

Thymund’s semblance to a human was strange in the way the he spoke. His voice, despite his size, carried a strange tone that seemed to fall ever so slightly deeper than it should for Kaeleer. Thymund was never one to seem intimidating within the courts. It was strange that an individual like Thymund had the authority that he did. His eyes did not line up in color or in likness with any known fey, however this alone was not a giveaway. His talent for always being present before or around something of great importance was almost as well known as he.

Thymund did not react to being touched as Kaeleer grabbed his shoulder lightly. He would smile as he was greeted, persisting through the comments of Thymund’s knack for showing up before significant events. Thymund felt strange to touch for the general. Despite being a foot shorter and slightly smaller, the man was un-naturally tough to the touch. “Omens come in many forms, though I do not think myself an omen today.” Thymund would speak with a little poise now that he was in proper company.

After listening to the story of the human who had to be “retrieved” Thymund was interested in the sudden story change. He remembered that Kaeleer found favor in death and cruelty. He let the man continue to speak. It was after he finished that Kaeleer gave away the information Thymund had wanted to know. “I did not, though I presume that you are on your way to give audience to Falk at the Dark Tower in that case?” Thymund would look up at Kaeleer as they walked. “Though this does answer my question if you are; As well as to give you proper escort to the Dark Tower.” Thymund would say as they continued to keep pace. “This aside, I see you have been doing well given your attendance to such events.” This statement sounded like it should have been a question, however Thymund was quick in his conversations at times. “You have been doing well, have you not?”

@Forett @FallenTrinity You both begin making your way to the High Road. Passing many Fae, high and low alike. Soldiers do not stop nor question you as they move from the gate onto the High Road. The great bridge spanning from the rim of Under the Mountain the Dark Tower in it's center. The Dark Tower itself is a massive collumn of stone black as Jessamine's scales but far more dull. The courtiers on the walk way move from your path in their finery and give speculative glances as they whisper to each other rather openly about possible reasons that The General and Thymund White are walking together towards the Dark Tower. Ranging from treason, to plots of murder, to possible lovers and nothing really interesting.

-Location: Court of Nightmares/Servant Quarters-

@BelleBianca shook her head looking slightly peeved. "Fae cannot just simply snatch you from the cradle. Not anymore anyways. They have laws and breaking those laws isn't wise for the Fair Folk to do. As for advice? Don't make a fool of yourself. Accept nothing unless it is freely given and said to be freely given." Closing her book she looked at the young girl with a long sigh. "You have you're head in the clouds, child. Bring it down to earth before you make a deal you'll regret. You're an indentured servant, you can't be killed, but you can endure nightmares and the Fae can make your life harder than it needs to be."

@FallenreaperThe tiny sprite looked pleased as it hopped into the water. "Bubbles! Bubbles! Soap! Clean!" It squeaked as it splashed out the water, a trail of soapy water following in it's wake. The bubble in Noah's hand slowly swirled, condensing and turned a pastel violet. The bubble turning from a light weight to something more substantial. If popped the liquid would turn solid. A globe of soap smelling of lavender and lilacs. Apparently the little sprite giggled on it's lily pad as it poked bubbles about it. "Fun fun fun!"

Noah’s head jerked up when he heard the small plop. His eyes caught the swell of water foam up into bubbles, followed by the small, high pitched squeaking of the sprite. It wasn’t hard to realize she had jumped into the water. Her giggling made it easy to locate her easily as he stepped back a bit. His thighs swished the water’s surface while he lowered himself into the warm water. It trailed across his grimy skin as he suspiciously eyed each bubble that drew near him.

His attention drifted to the bubble in his hand. The weight had immediately changed, becoming heavier and thicker in appearance. Even the color had changed. Cautiously Noah examined the bubble, half expected it to explode in his face before it popped in his palm. The thick liquid gushed across the creases. It felt like shower gel against his skin. Realizing it won’t hurt him. Noah began to bring it to his skin and lather it up The thick liquid melted into the creases of his skin and coated it lightly. It reminded him of thick, fragrant shower soap. Though it wasn’t any scent he usually used. Seeing as he needed to be clean, he gently rubbed it on his skin causing it to soap up and peel away the dirt.

Omens. They did come in many forms and even amongst the Fae there were some who believed that even omens could blossom into boons. It was subjective in nature. But for Thymund to be here it must have been a boon guised in the dark veil of an omen. The General glanced at Thymund for a brief moment and looked back to the tower at the question regarding his attendance record and scoffed with an ever present scowl adorning his grayish skin.

"My...record for punctuation has been improving, yes. Though I feel this answer warrants my defense of said tardiness to include I have my reasoning...I do stride to meet Lord Fall expeditiously when given a message by him directly however. I am the Hound of the King and as such loyalty to Faulk stands above all others." He sighed. It was a bit taxing to travel from one side of the kingdom to the other in order to meet with the King for even arbitrary matters, since some ends of the kingdom were more than three dawns and a dusk away. However, he was Faulk's right hand and as such he was under the obligation to answer the call.

"But do understand I am not some simple servant. I am the Wraith of War as many of you feel the need to call me. As I do enjoy the moniker it must be made known that I am a General of Fall and as such have other priorities that need to be handled as well."

Their walk took them to a rather long bridge that arched over many of the dwellings below and Kaeleer glanced at those who he passed, a bit of ire in his eyes for those who stood in his pathway to the dark tower.

Elsa stared at the old woman in concern and bewilderment. What kind of deal could she possibly have made? She thought hard, trying to recall. It was such a blur. Had she made some kind of deal and could not remember it?
"Is there a way to find out what deal I made? Because I truly do not remember," Elsa asked.

It was a relief to know she could not be killed. At least she didn't have to worry about that. As far as nightmares... well she had lived a nightmare though her entire childhood. She could take a lot more then people thought she could.
"When do I get to know what I'll be doing?" was Elsa's next question. "Am I going to get to meet the ruler of this place?"

She wasn't sure if she wanted to meet the ruler or not. Seeing the fae she had met so far it wasn't reassuring. Did being the ruler mean he was more civilized... or more savage than the others?

Thymund White

Thymund would maintain his smile as they passed the whispering crowds and individuals. Thymund’s titles were simple and mysterious. His titles were not official, yet the King himself seemed to regularly task him to various ends. Thymund was rumored to be a hunter under guise of fey magic, capable of wielding black iron and silver without being harmed… likewise, it was also rumored that he was the King’s son. Neither rumor was true to anyone with auspicious relation to Falk. Without the rumors, the truth known of Thymund was laughably simple; Most of the deaths that have befallen important individuals that have lost favor with Falk met their end after the appearance of Thymund White. As true as could be, his presence was either an Omen of dire meaning, or a blessing of anomalous origins.

While there were plenty of grave stories involving Thymund, there were also stories of his involvement in the defense of several individuals. His perception was his weapon, if nothing else was. “You have indeed traveled far, though you do not seem busy with any matters other than your summons.” Thymund would speak on Kaeleer’s appearance, his eyes staying forward as the two continued to walk along the bridge. “Though I would comment on what urgencies you may have, Kaeleer, I would not wish to become involved. Your loyalty to Falk is apparent, however your definition of what is urgent is far more easily questioned.” It was unclear if Thymund was insulting him.

Thymund would clarify by continuing. “Enjoying a task always seems to derive any urgency from the subject… It makes the task simple, though not always easy I feel.” Thymund spoke of his own tasks, not Kaeleer’s, though he did not specify so. “Your calling could be said the same, Kaeleer. A general being called from across the realm would leave a great deal of questions among those that whisper.” Thymund would glance at Kaeleer out of the corner of his eyes. Thymund had always enjoyed this individual’s company. Kaeleer was not one to shy himself away from anyone nor was he afraid to speak openly of his intentions. These were rare traits to witness so close to the Dark Tower.

Samhain Intrigues

@LovelyAnastasia @Belle @Fallenreaper @Forett

-Location: Under the Mountain/ Lower Quarter-

@Forett @FallenTrinity The grand door soon stands before you, pale blue light blooming over it as it yields to let you two enter. Closing behind you with a ominous closing. A sound that echoed through the massive halls and drew looks from the darkest and most powerful of Fae Under the Mountain. The weak did not dwell within the Court of Nightmares for long. The floor was a shiny white that was at odds with the gleaming ceiling of dark stone and glittering gems and metals. The walls were decorated in various paintings and trophies from various hunts. Skins, heads, horns, claws and fangs. But the runners of dark deep blue that covered the marble, offering a weak warmth from the chill of the stone, led the eye up to a second door. This one just as large, and up a grand staircase. A woman on one side was holding the handle and thus hand of the man on the other. She was fair to look upon. With an angular cat-like face her eyes were pure emeralds that looked at one with the door. The man on her opposite was as wilde as she was not. Storm winds whipped his great cloak about him shrouding his body in mystery along with his face. Though the moon at his back echoed the rose at hers.

This was the door to the Grand Hall of the Court of Horrors, the Court of the worst side of the UnSeelie. Behind those doors was a long hall filled with pillars of moonstone and silver holding up a ceiling that disappeared in the darkness. The mirror polished black floor was covered in the petals of roses, lilies, moon flowers and the like. Braziers stood between the pillars offering some warm to a room that carried the chill and weight of the Mountain above. At the very back, sitting on the throne shaped from the skull of a dragon, blackened by age was the Lord of UnSeelie. Her hands a folded steeple before him, as he seemed lost in his thoughts. Upon the raised dias, there was a trail of blood to a body that laid at the base of the throne. The wrecked form of a winter-born Fae. He was unable to kneel or move at all, for the Fae's body had been wrecked by some giant beast. The vacant eyes of the man also told that his mind had been torn from him by the King. Something Falk did not do lightly or without reason. Across the chest of the King's blackened armor was looped a decorative image of a dragon. Each detail making it seem almost alive. The grey-black hear reading over the clasp were the cloak on the King's back was held in place. The ruby eyes gleaming in the faint light. A clawed paw clamping on the other shoulder as the dragon's tail circled about to rest on the center of the King's chest. Blood dripped from the false dragon's maw and claw. Then again it was sprayed liberally across the man's chest and dripped from his hand. Though merely a single scratched was landed upon Falk himself. A slice along the wrist that was shallow.

-Location: Court of Nightmares/Servant Quarters-

@Belle"You will need to speak with a Lord of Records, Algar the Centaur, or petition the High Lord of the UnSeelie or one of his men." Bianca shrugged. "And don't be so quick to want to meet the High Lord." The older woman hands shook sharply as she gave Elsa a disapproving look. "He is not a Fae to be trifled lightly with, though you would know that if you came from the Collection." Shaking her head and making a annoyed huff, the woman gave Elsa a look that clearly said she thought the girl was a tad bit slow. "You're duties... Their whatever need doing. If you play an instrument and are asked to do it. In all reality, every task is recorded and stowed away against your debt. When it's paid you can leave or remain as you see fit. No one will stop you. However, if you remain but leave, you will no longer have the protection that extends to humans."

@Fallenreaper The sprite is very pleased with helping Noah and Noah would find fresh clothes in the from of a general tunic, shirt, breeches and soft slippers upon a bench in the room when he was finished. The little sprite sitting next to it with a giant smile as it looked pleased at it's 'help'.

The woman was clearly becoming annoyed with her. Elsa couldn’t help her own irritation rising as well. Yes she was asking questions, getting clarification. What did the woman expect? Elsa had just nearly avoided becoming a personal slave and whipping boy to a bitch with delusions of grandeur. She wanted to learn as much as possible to avoid screwing up again.

“I meant to find out who I take my orders from and what I was to do now, but I can see I am bothering you. Thank you for your help. I will not waste any more of your time,” Elsa said, her former expressionless demeanor returning. This was what she was used to : people eventually getting tired of you and casting you aside. It was textbook what happened to nearly every child in the foster care system. You were ultimately disposable, by your caregivers and by society.

“I suppose I will just play until I am told to do something,” she mused aloud before going back to the piano. Sitting, she began playing a haunting melody that echoed through the halls.

Noah Griffin

When Noah finished up lathering, he edged into the deeper water. Slowly he began to submerge himself, the anxiety filling him up as the level drifted past his waist. It crept to his torso then finally reached his head, pulling him horizontally underneath the liquid. Grim peeled off his muscles, their taint drifted upward and trapped within the colored bubbles. His closed eyes gradually opened toward the surface. A watery, shimmering window to the air above. It hypnotically kept his attention while the water weighed him down into its shallow depths.

For the moment, the pressure and sense of tranquility filled him. His heart thumped loudly in the watery environment, filling his ears then his head. Seconds passed into minutes before his instincts decided it was time to get out. Impulsively he lifted upright and began to edge to the pool’s side where he planted his hands upon the border. He lifted himself out causing the water to cascade off him. Noah’s feet moved across the smooth stone toward the local bench where both the sprite and a fresh, clean pair of clothes were situated.

Again, a frown pressed to his lips as he reached for the ‘shirt’ on top. He pulled the sleeves wide to examine it, taking in any markings or oddness to it before he considered placing it on. If anything felt off, he wasn’t intending to risk his life by wearing. He didn’t trust anything in this world. Especially when it was given freely. If he found nothing wrong, he began to get dressed then exited the room. He paused just outside the bathing room to catch the music floating through the air. Curiosity pulled him toward it instead of his earlier decision to retreat back to his room.

@Forett

Kaeleer glanced towards Thymund with slight amusement. The general was known for his involvement within the legions of the Fall court and many knew of his rigid posture while on duty but only a select few could see when Kaeleer was exhausted, mentally at the least. Travelling from the ends of the Kingdom to meet with Lord Fall himself was taxing on the body yet he refused to show any form of weakness. Usually, such fatigue was hidden behind a stoic expression complemented by an even more rigid posture. His answer was to straighten up slightly more than usual and continue his path with Thymund to their destination. As they continued, Thymund pressed on in the conversation. “Though I would comment on what urgencies you may have, Kaeleer, I would not wish to become involved. Your loyalty to Falk is apparent, however your definition of what is urgent is far more easily questioned.” Subconsciously he found himself cracking his own neck to the comment, responding with a sidelong glance of irritation and annoyance; golden eyes seemingly to pierce Thymunds body with hatred for but a moment. Clenching his teeth he begun to form his next sentence, most likely meant to defend his pride against Thymund's words but silenced as Thymund seem to elaborate on the matter of urgency. As their approach to the dark tower drew he surveyed its structure in its magnificence before speaking up with slight somber in his tone.

"Unlike many who whisper into the winds I would hope that rumors of war remain out of the ears of many. Although, a warrior's death is something to warrant honor and respect..." As the doors opened he stepped through with Thymund and begun making his way towards Faulk.

"Do you know what they call me? Those who we fight and those who we stand beside in battle? I'm sure you have heard of the title. A title I do intend to uphold forever more. No other General shall be as great as I and I plan on keeping it that way for millennia to come..." Soon they would approach Faulk and sooner would Kaeleer be the first one to kneel before the Fall Lord.

"M'lord. I have received your summons from afar and made great haste to receive your orders. What is it that you with Lord Faulk."
