I disagree, While ive seen rps that keep in touch with discord die off on the guild, one of the rps I’m still active in from here has been kept alive thanks to discord, and it’s been active for almost 2 years now and still runnning.
Discord helps keeps roleplays lasting, but that in of itself won’t keep it alive.
@Pyromaniacwolf I mean yeah, everyone has different experiences. I would be fine with either decision really, but this is what the OOC section is for ya'know.
@Valorous you're liking OOC posts. This is dangerous. You've given us express permission to drag you into this quagmire. GET 'IM EVERYBODY! GET ALL THE LURKERS!
Oh wow, I completely missed that the thread was up >_>
As of right now I am the only chaotic evil god, and one of the only evil gods. A majority of the gods are neutral which is good and a few are good or lawful so they probably won't like what he does. As such, I have a sense of purpose to bring true terror into the world.
Haha, I kinda expected this to happen, Divinus Mk I and Mk II had this one thing where a lot of players played neutral, few players were good, and there was so much chaos eventually that most neutral gods started becoming comparatively good. I know that is why I pushed for good in this version, at least.
I was thinking about making a chaotic evil god of power and strength that would "test" mortals with war and plague and the like, but to an extent his niche has been filled by Gremju. (@Pyromaniacwolf is a ninja wolf)
If the gods of evil and chaos start struggling too much and the storyline stagnates for it, there are still plenty of ways that we could shake things up.
You thought you could escape Seihdhara's eagle-eyed gaze! You were mistaken!
Oh yes! A god of life is definitely a good, strong choice. Our last goddess of life did an amazing job of populating Galbar with many strange and wonderful things
Here is my CS. This thread on my phone has so many squares >_>
Kap Gam
The Ephemeral Queen, (...) Female
Dᴏᴍᴀɪɴ & Pᴏʀᴛꜰᴏʟɪᴏ
Supernatural (Souls)
Supernatural is that which is above and under the laws of nature, the orders of existence often unseen and the perceived acts of entities such as spirits. It is not equal to Paranormal, as the Supernatural is not adjacent to reality neither can it be explained. It is not equal as occult as it does not deal with the rituals and knowledge of such forces neither does it purposefully hide from mortals.
Souls are the atom of a mind, the seed of proper intelligent life. Even to gods very little is know about them beyond it being what a makes a being be, they are of similar nature to the interuniversal motifs that lead to similar features appearing in many universes, and often, even when stripped of all its memories and aspects and reduce to its very core, seem to be attracted to the same strings of fate.
Aʟɪɢɴᴍᴇɴᴛ
Chaotic Good. Kap Gam is a moral being, a protector of souls. At first glance, one might believe the stoic being is a protector of laws and the status-quo, at a second glance, one would be wise to notice their mistake.
Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ
Kap Gam is a tired being, often acting in a stoic manner, few words ever escaping her mouth and rarely making any movements beyond the necessary. Yet, her mind does not mirror her body language, often home to unseen impulsiveness, defeatism, and paranoia, but also of keen observations and lasting determination.
She is a benevolent entity, accepting that all mortals cannot be helped, but still making an effort for mortalkind's well-being. She is an ardent defender of souls, while she can overlook murder in the great cycle of things, the abuse of souls is unforgivable. Kap Gam is deeply machiavellian but not scheming, she simply believes that announcing distastes and entering in meaningless showcases of power is counterproductive to any cause, she much prefers a sudden and clean cut strike that solves the problem for once and for all.
Gᴏᴀʟs
Mater Lei's universe may be less of a glorified trap than other universes, but it still is a very taxing experience. While Kap Gam just needed to stay in it long enough to meet someone and retrieve something, the very transition forces her to stay for a bit longer and recover. It would be hard for her to lay low during that time, to even start to recover she needs a universe with a flow of souls, which forces her to get involved with aspects of reality and the intrigue of the divines.
Aᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ
A tall figure with olive skin. She has a youthful human face, black eyes, and delicate features, her facial expressions are always that of someone who looks like they are about to fall asleep at any moment, yet there are no signs of unwellness typical of an exhausted or sick person such as bags under the eyes. Floating above her wavy cloudy-black hair, there a little ring with two colorful triangles on each side.
She wears a heavy looking cloak that seems to be made from something similar to wooden blocks and that covers most of her upper body, the hood of said cloak, however, is silky and white. Under it, one can peak at simple black clothes along with weird accessories that feel somewhere between amulets and devices, from one of those, a tube that is discreet in size but not in color goes up to her neck and connects with the skin. Just like with her face, the body hiding under the cloak looks healthy and strong, in stark contrast to her slow and tired movements.
Life is the aspect of existence that processes, acts, reacts, evaluates, and evolves through growth. The crucial difference between life and non-life (or non-living things) is that life uses energy for physical and conscious development. Life is anything that grows and eventually dies, i.e., ceases to proliferate and be cognizant. Can we say that viruses, for example, are cognizant? Yes, insofar as they react to stimuli; but they are alive essentially because they reproduce and grow. Computers are non-living because even though they can cognize, they do not develop biologically (grow), and cannot produce offspring. It is not cognition that determines life, then: it is rather proliferation and maturation towards a state of death; and death occurs only to living substances.
Furthermore, In Life there is anguish; Mental, Physical, Spiritual. Within this pain, healing has it's genesis. By formal definition, the meaning of healing is broad and complex: To Heal = to restore to health or soundness. To set aright; mend. To restore to spiritual wholeness. To return to health. Because of this, Ipeyr is often found influencing his followers amidst the bodies of dying, so they return them to health. To Life.

Lawful Good
Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ
Ipeyr is in all ways a benevolent being. He is heavily dedicated with his followers, whom describe him as "A truly kind god" or "A savior". These statements are in fact true, as he's never once enacted ill-will upon the world, nor allowed a being to die.(A being whom he deemed wasn't ready to die. He is well aware that while Life must ebb eventually, that is the only way for it to begin again). Despite being a god, he's oddly laconic, only saying whats important and not much else.
He's not known to converse with the other gods, nor interfere with their plans. It's a matter of mutual respect and simple not caring for matters he deems "unimportant"
Gᴏᴀʟs
Simple; Ipeyr is on the side of Life and thus wishes to aid it, mainly his followers.
Aᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ
When he does choose to manifest in a physical form(always human), Ipeyr normally dons simple stark white-well-everything. It's really an eyesore and a dramatic contrast to wherever he appears. His hair is wheat gold and droops in messy curls like a veil in front of his visage. Said visage consist of light olive skin, embellished with thin pink lips, a rather flat nose, and finished with warm umber hues. Nothing to differentiate himself from a normal person, other than his unusual clothing.
Gotta let you guys know, my country's going insane lately. Last two days I've had my electricity rationed for a total of 12 hours each day, going from noon up to early morning in most cases. So if the IC starts and I don't post quickly, you know that I'm being a caveman and smashing rocks with wooden clubs in my apartment.
Best of luck, Ug I mean, dude.
As of right now I am the only chaotic evil god, and one of the only evil gods. A majority of the gods are neutral which is good and a few are good or lawful so they probably won't like what he does. As such, I have a sense of purpose to bring true terror into the world.
I find that tension will arise naturally whether or not the gods are good or evil, so long as they disagree strongly enough in other ways. And of course, we have a whole other axis of alignment to consider- we have many irreverant chaotic gods, and only a few lawful ones. I feel like things will get interesting the moment they start to disagree.
By the way, I suggest we make a discord server or something for ease of communication , also so we don't clog up this thread with idle chatter and dumb stuff.
There's nothing wrong with cluttering this zone so long as the important details are where everyone can find them. If quick group talk seems necessary later, I can make a channel once we're all settled in.
