Hiroshi Hon

To protect those who have faith in the village ... that is my goal.

With the last of his students arriving to the Hokage Monument, Hiroshi gestured her to sit down. Once she sat down, he turned towards them and stood up, side to side with Hirudora." Well, it seems that the entire Team Six is here. Let me introduce myself to you. I am Hiroshi Hon, the Jounin Sensei of Team Six, Captain of The Wolf Guard and the founder of the Hon Compound in our village. I fought in The First War when I was fourteen years old. I journeyed the world for ten years on my own in my quest for discovery of myself. I have led and survived the defense of the Hon Estate. And this is Hirudora, my long time friend and companion. Why am I telling you all of this? Certainly not to boast about my accomplishments - especially since it is nothing to boast about. I told you all of this so you can know something about me, and in turn, I would like to ask a few questions as well. Questions with answers that might be deceiving."

With that,he sat down a bit closer to them." We will be working together as Team Six from today. The former Sensei of this team, Zakito Hon left me in charge of it. First of all, I want all of you to know that as your Sensei, I am here to help you in all aspects of your shinobi life - be it morals, opinions, or training. I can give you advice but I cannot make decisions for you. We shall begin our training today, but before that, I would like to get to know all of you a bit better. So I am going to ask you to tell me something about you, whatever you feel like telling me. After you tell me about yourself, I would like to know what you think about the meaning of the word teamwork. Whoever feels like starting may go ahead." With that, Hiroshi waited for them to star with a warm smile on his lips, with Hirudora lying next to them and curiously watching the students.

Masami Hyuuga

Wow, Masami though for herself as she listened to Hiron Sensei speaking as soon as the entire team gathered. He bears a certain resemblance to both Zakito-sama and Hiro-sama, but he is ... serious. Way too serious. I shall better not slack off or anything. These thoughts raced in her mind as she listened to the man introducing himself. Not that she was known for slacking or disobeying orders - she just wanted to make Hiron-Sensei know that she is definitely worth of it to be assigned to his team. Also, to prove both Zakito-sama and Hiroshi-sama that their faith placed in her was in the right place. And she wanted to prove it to herself - and this was the perfect chance. The lightning crackle she heard made her sure she will do her best to please Hiron-Sensei, and she decided she will do so right in their first mission.

As they made way towards the Main Village Gate, Masami listened carefully to the instructions. They were to stop a ... special kind of turtle from leaving the country. That sounded a bit weird to her, but she learned not to underestimate anything - and she will not underestimate this turtle as well. Especially after Hiron-Sensei told that the it already fooled several Chunin ranked shinobi. And also, this mission was to prove to her Sensei that she really is Team 9 material. With that, her determination to succeed raised even more." Understood, Hiron-Sensei." The reply was maybe unnecessary, but she wanted to let him know that she is ready.

Shinri Rai

Kirigakure Genin

Rai listened to the orders without a word spoken. He was not fond of taking orders, but Mika-Sensei somehow managed to gain his respect. He was not sure about it himself, but it was that way. The woman know her way about assassination and he could not picture her hesitate in making the kill, and that was something he respected. Being an assassin in training, he decided he will carry out her orders to the last point. After all, he could learn a lot from her. As for the part of not obstructing each other, Rai almost scoffed. He got used to working alone, but three new persons could not do that much harm, now could they? Certainly not. And if all else fails, Rai can still use them to draw attention from himself while he is doing his bloody work, as he calls it sometimes. He returned to reality just as Mika-Sensei was explaining their mission to them.

A group of bandits should not be that hard of a task for them to accomplish. He had no idea about the skills and abilities Haru and Chou possessed, but something told him they will be skilled enough. The other thing was if they were prepared to take out the bandits. He was sure he was going to kill again - the rush of adrenaline and fear he felt every time he did so was terrifying and satisfying at the same time. But he wanted to be an assassin - and assassins do their job. No questions asked, no answers told. Just the job. He took a deep breath and decided to ask away.

" Mika-sensei, is lethal force authorized?"

Takeshi Shun

Dew Islet

Takeshi watched as his third student sauntered slowly up to the islet. From the boy's pace it was obvious that he was taking his time. Letting out a small sigh, Takeshi shook his head. He was going to have to change that. Laziness was not to be tolerated, unless of course it was by him... then it was okay. Turning his attention back to the two fighting students, Takeshi noticed that they were stopping their sparring match. So they had noticed the other boy show up. Sighing to himself, Takeshi stood. I suppose now is as good a time as any he thought to himself as he began moving through the mist towards the islet and his new students.

As he moved forwards, a thought occurred to him. Smiling devilishly, he gathered lightning in his fist and sent a low powered chidori spear towards the student who had shown up late. The attack would miss the student, by a hair, but it would certainly startle him. With that, Takeshi continued on his way towards the islet.

Tsuyoshi Nakagawa

To think the first thing Tsuyoshi would experience was being slammed into by some hyper kid. Seemed to be a pretty oblivious fellow, since he didn't even apologise and just started waving in front of him and informing him he had arrived. "Yeah, I can see that. Hiya." He returned his wave, though not half as energetically as this kid. Tsuyoshi was an active man, but he had a feeling he didn't have half the energy this guy did. But next came the real fun. Raion was here. And he didn't sound happy. Tsuyoshi had an enormous grin on his face the whole time Raion put on his little show of bravado. Tsuyoshi knew they had a bit of a competition going on, but nothing amused him more than seeing how seriously Raion took it all. Here he was, trying to make a more impressive entrance of all things. "You keep telling yourself that...." He mumbled as Raion spoke the words "Master Swordsman".

But despite all these shenanigans, their Sensei didn't seem terribly fazed by any of it. He started to talk and got straight to the point. Tsuyoshi had to appreciate his plainness, at least. From what Tsuyoshi could gather, this guy was called Nori Osamu and he had come up with a fairly obvious "teamwork" game to test them all out on. It was hardly anything new. Tsuyoshi had heard of countless variants of the same test from his family, older ninja and the like. But maybe he had a twist up his sleeve that would throw them off in the end. Whether he did or didn't, Tsuyoshi was more amused at the idea of him and Raion working together. Or more specifically, at the idea of Raion having to stomach it. If he took it half as bad as he seemed to take seeing Tsuyoshi here in the first place, this was going to be an amusing show if nothing else. As Nori started walking away, Tsuyoshi turned to his rival. "Alright, Raion, shall I let you have the first crack at him? Or would you feel the need to try and be more polite than me too?" What Tsuyoshi honestly hoped to see was for Raion to speed off in an attempt to show him up and get tuckered out from the effort. But perhaps it would be equally amusing to hear Raion agree to work together. Perhaps he would try to claim he was being more co-operative than him?

Suzume Hanamoto
Team 6

Stepping forwards and taking initiative in the introduction part of the shinobi squad life she decided to be away with this as soon as possible. "My name is Suzume Hanamoto. I was born in the Land of Iron and moved here almost two years ago. The Hokage's had a lot of fun in containing me out of any active life eversince my first sensei got maimed, later killed, or something vague like that. I don't like anything at all, not even this village. Teamwork is a necessity when working with mutliple individuals to avoid running in eachother's way." She said rather monotonely and stepped back. She grabbed one of her fans and waved herself some fresh air on this rather warm Februari morning and tried her best to not completely ignore the others. Okay, that was a lie. She'd remember every detail about what they'd say here, but it didn't interest her at all. Why should it?

Shizumi Uchiha
Konoha [Team 6]
Genin

Shizumi jumped at the opportunity given by his sensei, as he squeezed between the two of his peers. "I'd like to go first, Hiro-sama!" Shizumi said, using his thumb to point to himself. "MY NAME IS SHIZUMI UCHIHA, MIGHTY SEED OF THE INFAMOUS UCHIHA CLAN!" Shizumi could feel the fire in his belly begin to burn as the words began to roll from his tongue to the ears of his peers. "I WAS RAISED TO THWART THE AMBITIONS OF THOSE THAT DARE OPPOSE THE UCHIHA CLAN! MORE IMPORTANTLY, I WAS RAISED TO BECOME STRONG ENOUGH TO PROTECT THE LEAF AND THOSE WITHIN IT'S INTEREST!" Seeing that his sensei had provided his full attention to him and his new set of peers was fuel to Shizumi's fire. "I BELIEVE THERE IS NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN FRIENDSHIP! IF YOU CAN MANAGE TO MAKE FRIENDS OF THOSE YOU MUST WORK CLOSEST WITH, TEAM COHESION IS A PIECE OF PIE!" Shizumi growled through his teeth as he spun around to point at his mates. "FROM HERE ON OUT, I LOVE YOU BOTH! YOU TWO ARE WHAT WILL ULTIMATELY KEEP ME ALIVE AND VICE VERSA! TRUST IN ME TO ALWAYS HAVE YOUR BACK THROUGH THICK AND THIN!" Shizumi shouted out, his arms like iron rods pointing to his peers.

He placed his hands on hips and ran his eyes over the two before spinning back around to smile at his sensei. "Haha! That's all I have. I figured I'd be the one to set the tone." Shizumi was one talkative kid and often used his charisma to his advantage. He figured the quicker he warmed his peers up, the quicker the bond between the three of them could begin to form. Scratching his head, Shizumi squatted after turning back to his peers. He was dying to know more about them. "Well, go on!" he shouted as a wide grin spread from ear to ear. This was the beginning of a new journey for Shizumi and his passion to progress began to burn brighter and brighter. Academy was a piece of cake for the kid, he knew operating in the field as a team would be a bit more challenging though. Challenges were something Shizumi enjoyed and often sought. What lie in store for the boy and his squad?

Shikaroku Nara
[Team 9]
Konoha
Mission Time

Seeing the two ninken approach him, Shikaroku eyed them warily. He knew of the Inuzuka clan and their animals, and he knew just how unwise it was to try and treat them like simple street dogs, or pets. Bowing politely to Mia, he spoke briefly, "Your animals are quite impressive." After listening to Hiron's brief speech, Shikaroku nodded his head, grimacing on the inside. He hoped that he wouldn't let his team down, but he knew just how debilitating his migraines could get.

As they all headed out to the main gate, Shikaroku followed close behind. Hearing their mission caused Shikaroku to smile a little. It wasn't that he found it funny, nor did he think it was going to be too easy, but he was confident that this mission would not strain him to the point where the crippling pain would come back. Or, at least he hoped it wouldn't...

Raion Torikumu

Raion listened intently to Nori's words as he spelt out to them the challenge they would be partaking in. Great! He had loathed the idea of just sitting around and exchanging pleasantries. The fact that he could show off his undoubtedly limitless skills at the same time was just all the more appealing. His hands balled up into fists slightly at his side in anticipation, but he managed to keep the rest of his excitement under wraps.

That was when his Main Rival Arch-Swordsman Nemesis Number One interjected and offered him the choice of going first or working together. The choice, in Raion's mind, really was quite obvious. He let out a loud and purposeful single laugh. Rolling up his sleeves, Raion set himself into an almost pouncing position.

"Watch me get this guy with nothing but a bit of boundless enthusiasm!" he announced grandly with a wide grin.

The young boy set off at some speed. However, in the midst of his, ahem..."boundless enthusiasm", Raion failed to notice the rather large plank of wood he'd left delicately on the floor. Right in front of him. His first step, though fast, was his only one as his foot clipped the heavy object. With all the momentum he had gathered, the young ninja was sent toppling head over heels into the ground, hitting it with the most satisfying of sounds. For a while he simply just lay there in a slowly dissipating cloud of dust, but eventually he managed to raise a hand of friendly suggestion.

"O-on second thoughts....maybe I should give you guys a chance too," he said, rather more meekly.

Regaining his gusto, the boy crawled back to his feet and turned to his two new teammates. He held each arm out, as if to instigate a huddle, and lent in, somehow managing to exaggerate every motion.

"Alright gang, what's the plan?!"

Mamoru Senju

Heading out!

As Mamoru listened to Aiko explaining their mission to them, he could not help but already think about a best way to get to know Koike better and start working on their teamwork. Seeing they are both Kenjutsu users, the similarities will hopefully help them to work along, not creating a bitter rivalry between the two. Returning to their mission, it turned out to be quite straightforward - get to the south of The Fire Union and help settle problems. Pretty much what shinobi work means. Standing up as Aiko placed some money on the table, he looked around - people were looking at his armor in confusion since he entered the tea shop, though he only noticed it now. Still, his armor was his pride and he will wear it as long as he can. As Aiko asked away, Mamoru looked at her and replied to her smile with one of his own.

" Not from me, Aiko-sama. If you ask my opinion, it can be anything - from neighbor disputes to insurgents trying to disturb the peace that was achieved through untold hardships. Whatever the case, we should be careful not to underestimate anything. At least, that is my opinion, Aiko-sama."

Kumori Yotsuki
Kumogakure Genin
Team 5

Kumo had a confused look on his face, thinking hard about something. Suddenly, he threw his hands up and fell backwards onto the ground. "Oh, I get it! He's the teacher! That means we have to catch him. Aw, that's boring, I want to be 'it'." Kumo turned his head around to watch his teammate trip over a wooden pole. "Wow, you must be stupid or something mister." Spinning his legs around, Kumo managed a perfect backflip off the ground to land on one foot, spinning around to face the direction their teacher had gone in the same fluid motion.

Taking on a parody of an old man's deep voice, Kumo clasped his hands behind him and, still facing away from the two older Genin, said, "Plan? Plans are for fools. In battle, chaos is the only plan you need." Kumo spread his arms wide. In a whisper he said, "No, no plan. Now men, is the time to..." Raising his voice to a high pitched battle cry, Kumo turned and winked at his teammates and finished with, "CHARGE!"

Whispering to himself under his breath, Kumo recited the handseals for the jutsu he knew. 'Dragon for power, tiger for flow, and hare for the rush." A jet of water came from Kumo's mouth, and he added the tiger seal to shape the water into a water copy of himself. The boy grabbed his much lighter water clone and threw it into the air, and with another blast of water he shot his clone, and the kunai it held - one in each hand and a third hidden inside its body, an explosive tag wrapped around the handle of the hidden one - through the air and across the field, right in the direction of the Jounin team leader. Kumo wasted no time and chasing after, as fast as his feet could carry him. If this was supposed to be a chance for each of the team five Genin to show what they were capable of, he wasn't going to hold anything back.

Koike Hon
Konohagakure Genin | Team 8

Koike listened to the words of Aiko. When Mamoru rose up, so did Koike. The calm expression on the boy's face revealed that he had no actual problems with the mission. He nodded after Mamoru had spoken. ''Think we're ready. After you, Aiko-sama.'' Koike said, quickly checking if the strap of the scabbard was all good and the sword on his back was still in place. It was a kind of a habit of him to do whenever he had to leave. Like if he wanted to be one hundred pro cent sure that the sword was still there.

But he did wondered what kind of troubles they could encounter. Hopefully nothing too bad. For now they were with simply two genins and a jounin. One of Konohagakure's most feared Genjutsu user, but still, he pondered on it. Then again, they wouldn't send a three man squad to a heavy troubled zone. It would likely turn out to be nothing more than a bit of helping around and solving some things. At least, he kind of hoped it wouldn't be anything too big. Waiting for the others, he would follow Aiko as he was ready for this mission.

Hiron Hon,
Konohagakure Jounin-sensei | Team 9

With both the genins saying they understood the mission, which wasn't that hard to understand actually, Hiron picked up the pace. He gave the order for the formation. ''Masami, you at the back. Shikaroku, you at the left. Mia, you at the right. We will move in this formation. Stay wary and cautious at all times. And remember.'' Hiron glanced over his shoulders for a moment. ''I will watch every movement of yours. One moment of a goof and you'll know why I have my nick.'' His voice had became a bit lower and very serious. Looking back in front of him again, Hiron quickly managed to move himself up a tree. Using chakra focused at his feet, he then jumped off from a branch towards another one. Their target wasn't likely too far, but he wanted to keep them going at a pace.

''Once the target is in sight, I'll stay out of combat nor will not give any orders. I hope you all know the value of teamwork.'' Hiron told them, but didn't glance in their direction. He simply kept jumping from branch to branch. He then stayed quiet as he continued to lead them to where the turtle was last spotted. It was near a lake, where the animal would have the advantage. If his students wouldn't be able to stop the animal from reaching the waters. Hiron wondered how good they would perform. He had heard some things over Masami, but other than their profiles, he knew not that much over Masami nor Shikaroku. This could become interesting to watch, he figured.

Nori Osamu - Team 5 Leader

Though he didn't turn around to look, he could hear his students interacting behind him. A small smirk formed on his face. Two of them seemed to be the energetic types, and the third was undoubtedly semi-reserved. Probably excitable as well. The sound of water behind him let Nori know that Kumori had performed some water technique to start the exercise off. Wasting no time, he thought to himself, before performing a quick string of handseals. Upon turning around, he saw the water clone Kumori coming at him through the air and Kumori a little ways behind running directly at him.

A small grin formed on his face. "This is an exercise on more than just personal ability," he noted aloud, before putting his hand in his shuriken pouch. In one quick motion, he threw a bunch of shuriken at the water clone. However, as each one flew through the air, they all let off an incredibly bright shine. Almost blinding to look at, and certainly disorienting. It would be difficult to pinpoint precise locations for dodging or blocking. And while that group flew toward the incoming water clone, Nori repeated the motion and threw another handful at Kumori himself, the shuriken also taking the dazzling brightness of the first batch. He figured he wouldn't kill the kid, but knew that if any of his students got hurt too severely he could just stop the exercise.

Mia Inuzuka - Team 9

A slight smile graced her lips as she recalled Hiron saying something like that before. she opened her mouth to speak and enquire about it but the look from Hiron told her to keep her mouth shut about it. Mia followed her two new team mates to the gate her ninkun following close behind, she wondered how they would cope with their new assignment.

Mia decided that she would stay behind the two Genin and not do the mission to her full potential as the two Genin needed to learn. She didn't know what the two genin were thinking about this mission but she listen as her sensei gave out orders, and she got into formation without a word or hesitation.

When the turtle was spotted Mia was slightly hesitant she was not yet in sync with the other two members so she was cautious. with one motion of her hand she sent her ninkun to another side of the lake so that if the turtle did go in the water they would have a chance of flushing it out onto open ground again. she them watched and waited to see what the genin would do.

Waki Sanosuke

The old jonin commander was sleeping when the orders arrived. Though that didn't last long as the ANBU forced him awake by obnoxiously shouting at him. With a swiftly placed panic-punch to the ANBU, Waki realized he wasn't back in the Shinobi World War and sat upright in his bed. The ANBU picked himself up off the floor and went over it again. "The Raikage requires your immediate presence. He says you two have urgent matters to discuss," he explained. Realizing what was going on, Waki began laughing and gave the ANBU a pat on the shoulder. "Sorry about punching you there. I will be in his office in a few minutes."

To his promise, he was dressed in his flashy formal wear and was out the door in less than two minutes. This left him hungry for breakfast, but he can always eat later. For a man of his age, he always surprised himself with how fit he is and what he can do, for he made the journey across Kumogakure in less than a minute. After stopping at the door, the eclectic Waki Sanosuke recomposed himself and entered Takeru's office. "You caught me napping," he joked, before laughing at his own joke. "What is this urgency I have been told of?"

Hiron Hon,
Konohagakure Jounin | Team 9

Seemed the team was ready and listend to him. That was a good start. As they neared the lake, Hiron noticed that Mia sent her ninken around it. He wondered if that was a good move. Slowly, he slowed down as he made a sign. ''He is all yours.'' With that told, Hiron would observe the team from a safe distance. The big turtle, around the size of a full grown elephant, moved slowly towards the water. It had strange features, for a turtle. A tail and a long neck. The eyes of the creature looked with a rather annoyed look. With Mia's ninken moving, the turtle looked over his shoulder. It noticed team 9. ''O-o-oh no! No! No!'' He grunted, suddenly walking a little bit faster. At the jogging speed of a human.

Seeing the old turtle getting annoyed, Hiron suppressed a chuckle. He was wondering how his students would do this. Of course, he had a history with the turtle and the latter knew what was the purpose of all this fuss. It was only going to be interesting to see if the students would be able to see the surprises the old creature had in store for them. And if they could, what would their reaction be?

Takeru,
The Fifth Raikage

The masked man sat behind his desk. He was signing some reports. The rumours of some bandits, that were causing trouble, had to be dealt with. The infrastructure was something that Takeru was aiming to improve. With some annoying ants like bandits to deal with, he could send some lower ranked teams to deal with them. The more dangerous one could be work for chuunin ranked ones. As Waki entered the room, the masked Raikage looked up. ''We need to talk.'' Was the first and rather simple reply of Takeru. Leaning back, the man opened a drawer and pulled out a sealed document. Placing it on the other end of his desk, Takeru leaned forward. Placing his elbows on the table, the man began to speak again.

''I have noticed that Jinyaru did little to improve the military of the Cloud. In fact, he did as little in the end as the Third Raikage. I am going to show I am different. From now on I want a portion of the military being ready at all times to head out or to fight. This means more stricter rules for the jounin and ANBU classified teams. I however need you to brief me on some cases and for some advise.'' Takeru explained, waiting now for Waki's response on what he had been told. The Raikage had some trust in the old man as Waki was the one with the most experience in leading the military with his record and service in the First Shinobi World War. Even with the usual attitude, Waki was considered one of Kumo's best assets. At least in the eyes of Takeru.

Takehkiko Muto
Finally in the training fields and ready to get started, Tahekiko would look back in his mind about the event that happened 15 minutes ago. About the stranger attacking that actually turned out to be his team mate. "Can't really be on a team with someone like that, randomly attacking, I'd end up kicking his ass... Oh well guess that's the way it is." Lost in thought the birds that soared would bring him back to reality as they chirped and squawked. He leaned back, stretching out his back then began to work on his legs and arms. He felt prepared and ready to take on what task Satoshi had, he hoped the two Genin on his team would be a bit more confident, one of them seemed shy, the other... He didn't know, but Takehkiko wasn't planning on letting anyone get in his way, not even a team mate. The Genin had a heart, but he embraced his selfish side as well, aware that it existed.

Hiroshi Hon

Jounin Sensei of team Six

Creating a foundation of teamwork

Hiroshi looked over his students whom were giving their introductions, and he listened to them with great care. They would spend a substantial amount of time together from today and he wanted to know them, so he can develop more than just a teacher - student kind of bond. He wanted them to know he is their teacher, mentor, friend. It was easier with some people, while being more different from others. Though, he believed that his travels around the world granted him knowledge enough so he can pass the knowledge to others. As the introductions ended, he eyed them with curiosity as he formulated his thoughts. Hirudora, in turn, eyed every one of them, Shinko with the most interest.

Suzume was by far the most difficult person he encountered since he returned to The Fire Country, but nothing he would get scared of. From what he heard, she had a difficult past with The Hidden Leaf Village, something she was in no way to change. Changing her attitude towards the things around her, bot mostly towards the village may looked like a task impossible to accomplish, but Hiroshi believed there would be a way. Hard and challenging, but still a way." I understand your grudge towards the village, Suzume-chan and I do not blame you for it. If you would grant me the chance to change anything, I would be more than happy to try and change you view on our village. It all rests in your hands. Remember - I am not only your teacher."

HIroshi´s attention then turned to Shizumi. The boy was young, full of energy. He was glad to see it and he thought about using all that energy in the favor of the boy. If he will invest most of it into his training, Hiroshi was sure he will have no trouble to progress it at good paces. On the other hand, Hiroshi had to make sure to keep it in check - too much uncontrolled energy could potentially lead to undesired effects. And that was something he wanted to avoid as much as possible." I see you are full of energy, Shizumi-kun. Being energetic is a good thing, but you should always make sure to guide your energy the proper way. It can help you to progress your training at rapid paces, but also drag you down. Remember the same thing - I am not only here to teach you."

Then, he turned to Shinko. The girl who showed much promise in her initial greeting just sat there, silently. Hirudora eyed her the most, and Hiroshi´s glance was fixed there for a longer span of time as well. It was all in hopes of getting her to speak up, but to no avail. This was a rather large dent in his efforts to create a working team, a team he will be able to lead on missions. How could they work together if they could not introduce themselves to each other." Working together means knowing each other, Shinko-chan. I am confident we can overcome this ... initial failure in the later stages of our common training."

With that, he stood up and mentioned his students to do the same." I want each one of you to grab one of these planks and to tie this rope to your waists. We are going to start our first exercise. Be careful at how you will take it on." With that, he took a few steps from them, towards a terrain formation that reminded him of a very small lake. Placing the scroll he brought earlier on the shores, he released it and filled the hole completely up with water, thus creating the environment he wanted for their first exercise." You will do your exercise in this ... call it a small lake. I want all of you to sit on the planks on the surface of the water, while tied together with the rope and to think about teamwork again. I will be joining you in this exercise."
