When Adam said she looked like she was close to being insane she let her eyes roll behind her glasses. Before starting some witty banter about now the two of them looked and she even let out a small laugh at his come back to her jab about him being the pretty. "Hmm well I guess if you think I'm pretty I'll take it sweetie." She said back with a little bit of a smile because when he said it, it wasn't much of an insult in her mind as her calling him pretty. "And that was a cute little comeback."

She couldn't help her reaction to his grabbing her, even with barely knowing him one thing was for sure. He was rough, she wasn't used to being randomly grabbed and she really didn't like being thouched. Maybe if I tell him that he will stop. She thought for a moment. But maybe part of me don't want that because I might be crazy She thought to herself again as she let out the sigh from the relieve out of her mouth that came from his touching her arm. Soon he started telling her about the hell that he had been through.

Without even thinking about she reached out to touch his cheek, to comfort him, something that he seemed like he needed it. Though as soon as she froze she thought about pulling her hand back, and almost did. Until she felt him lean into her touch, she gave a soft smile letting her thumb run across his cheek slowly before pulling away, feeling almost a pull to lean in and try to kiss him. She couldn't let that happen, not only did he have a fiancé, but it had made things so much which for some reason last time.

She allowed herself to slide down the wall beside him as she told what her last few days, it might not been physically painful, but emotionally and mentally it was hurtful. To be company alone, no one to talk to, not even Taylor was allowed in other than to bring her food and check on her. There had been no contact with anyone for four days, and not by her choice. All the while being both pissed at Adam and wishing he was there as he clearly didn't care about the rules. There were a few times she thought she was going to go crazy.

She had felt him sliding down the wall beside her as she talked and her smile grew wider as Adam laughed about her setting someone on fire, and she looked and him before laughing a little bit. "I really hope so." She said back with a laugh, leaving out the fact Grace had threatened to put her in the cage if it happened again. Ciara didn't even notice as her guard dropped completely and next thing she knew her knees were pulled to her chest and she was asking him what they were going to do now. She could feel his eyes on her as she stayed kind of curled up into a ball, it likely wasn't helping him not see her as weak. But she was both physically and mentally tired and didn't care.

Ciara let out a sigh with Adam said that he didn't even know, part of her just wanted to get up and go home, because that part of her really hoped he knew what to do. Though the rest of her understood, because Adam was right it was too complicated, even for her. Her body tensed up for only a second as she felt Adam's arm around her shoulders but it was gone rather quickly and she let him pull her over against his shoulder. Oddly it made her feel better and slowly her knees came down from where they were curled to her chest, and she let out a sigh closing her eyes. All she could think of was how unfair it was that he somehow smelt so freaking good.

She listened intently as he spoke about his coven, about how they would take their time killing her. Just when she was about to pull away from him and ask why she had to know that? Why couldn't he just leave her in the dark about that. Ciara felt his face press into her hair, heard the words he said, and her eyes opened in surprise. She was the one that was quiet as the heavy silence hung in the air around them. Ciara's mind working a mile a moment trying to think of how to respond to his words. "You actually care what happens to me and if I get hurt?" "If you care so much why do you keep snapping at me and leaving, don't you know that hurts me?" "Why is it so bad to care about someone else?"

Ciara moved her hand slightly and slowly lifted Adam's shirt a little bit where she could see some of the marks, before looking up at him. "Adam, even if you don't believe me. Seeing this and not being able to help you feel better, hurts me inside. So I know what you mean." She said before putting his shirt back down her eyes looking into his for a moment before she sighed a little bit and took ahold of his arm softly before he could move away letting her fingers trace around the bumped up edges of him yang sign. "Besides there is the small chance your coven won't find out about me, but if we try to stay apart, clearly I'm not going to be the only one to die slowly." She said quietly her tone sad before she stopped tracing his mark.

Sitting on the cold concrete in a dark alley, it was easy to forget about the reality that was his life. It was so easy when he was next to the raven-haired girl to forget that he was battle trained to kill her and everyone in her coven. To be the warrior that killed without question. However, Ciara’s head resting on a nasty bruise on his shoulder reminded him of who he was supposed to be, and what his coven would train out of him with time. The best thing he could do for her and for himself would be to stand up and walk away without looking back, but the new found tattoo on his arm was not going to allow him to do that.

Adam lifted his head from her hair as she shifted in his arms. A hiss of pain escaped his lips at the loss of her weight against his bruised side. Slowly he looked down at his black and blue skin she revealed when she lifted up his shirt. “If you wanted me naked, all you needed to do was ask.” He commented weakly as he put his head back against the brick. “Though if you are going to strip me of my clothes, you better be willing to let me do the same to you.” He added with a smirk before pulling his shirt from her hands and pulling it back down.

Adam opened his eyes and glanced wearily at her as she grabbed his arm and traced the raises mark on his skin. The feeling of her light fingertips brushing his skin sent shivers up his arm and down his back. It was all he could do not to yank his arm away from her grasp for creating such a reaction. “It shouldn’t hurt you, love.” He replied after a moment. “If I wasn’t being treated this way, it would mean that you are dead.” Slowly he pulled away from her soft touch and the shivers she was still creating. He pushed himself to his feet slowly, willing his body to ignore the pain of the movement. “Do yourself a favor, and stop feeling sorry for me. It will be the death of you.” He turned and started for the mouth of the alleyway.

After a few steps he stopped. He needed to stop caring about her feeling. He needed to push through his training and earn the trust of his coven back. If he brought them Ciara’s head, it would all stop, he would once again be revered and trusted. His arm gave of a wave of warning pain as he thought about how easily he could sever her head from her neck. She trusted him enough to let him close. It would only take a few seconds and then it would be over. The feelings, this weakness, this training. Once again his arm flared with pain. Would his mark kill him for trying to kill her? He looked back at her still sitting behind him and knew beyond any doubt that he wouldn’t be able to do it even if he truly tried. She had somehow found a way to make him care about killing her.

“There is only one thing we can do, Ciara.” He started finally as he turned to face away from her again. “We have to meet at least every couple of days. If only to shake hands. I will see you in three days, same time and place.” He turned once more to look at her with cold and calculating eyes. “Just do not make this into some fairytale where you think a dark night is going to come in and save you. This is only to ensure I live.” With that and continued he walk back towards his coven.

It was hard to remember that she should be wary of him at this moment, with her head leaning on his shoulder. Somehow he could pull her in, Clara should be angry that if he hadn't threw one of his hissy fits last time they were together, they wouldn't have been through hell the last few days. Scared that his clan was going to kill hers off, that any change of heart and he could snap her neck like he almost had the second time. Yet, it just all seemed so unimportant here at this moment. That was a bad thing though, she shouldn't trust him this much. She shouldn't be this comfortable leaning on him. Ciara heard the hiss that came from his lips as she moved away, she had tried not to put pressure on his side when she moved, but clearly it had still hurt him.

She looked at him for a moment before muttering. "Sorry Adam." When she lifted his shirt up a little she couldn't help but feel a wave of sadness and anger. That they would do this to him, beat him like this, or 'train him' as he put it. It sounded like a form of punishment to her. Ciara looked at Adam as he spoke, saying she just had to ask to get him naked. Despite the seriousness of her words to him, she couldn't help but smile a little at his joke as as he leaned his head against the wall. Yes, please! She thought at his next words as she scoffed a laugh as she felt a light blush shaking her head. "I'll make mental note of that." Ciara said looking at him again.

She took Adam's arm and began tracing the raised mark as she talked. Though her touch was light and soft, so she never stopped to think that maybe this would bother him. Ciara looked back up at him as he started to speaking again. He said that she shouldn't be hurt by the fact that he was being beaten, that the only way he would be treated the way he was, was if she was dead. He didn't understand though, she couldn't help but be hurt by the fact she was why this was happening to him. She couldn't help but watch as he pulled his arm away from her and got up, and when he told her that she should stop caring she frowned watching him start walking away. "Adam.." She started before sighing a little and her voice getting quieter. "..you don't understand."

Ciara pulled her knees up to her chest again sighing, starting to feel colder without his extra body heat beside her. She didn't notice the fact he had stopped and looked down at her, to deep in her own thoughts as she traced the mark on her arm frowning. Though when she heard her name she looked back up at him, he wasn't looking at her but she could hear the change in his tone again. Though perhaps it was a good thing that Adam wasn't looking at her as he told his plan to her. Really? That was his plan? To just meet up very three days to shake hands? Did....did he not realize hoew idiotic that plan was? What happened when he destroyed her coven? Huh? Was he going to keep her in a cage or cell or whatever they used to come shake her hand? Ciara could feel her lips purse at him as he turned to look at her. And there that look was yet again. The one that scared her a little inside, the same one he had when he had said he would kill her.

For moment she didn't say anything, all because of the look. However, what he said next was enough to push her over the line and she started to get up as he walked away. Frowning she pushed her shield out through the alleyway, stopping him from being able to go any farther down the alley. "You know what, Adam. I don't know what the hell your problem is!" She yelled at him as she started walking towards him. "You don't want me to feel bad for you, but bring up every time that I'm the reason you're hurt. You talk all nice to me about caring if I get hurt and then are a total asshat threatening to kill me."

She still hadn't stopped walking as she let out angry laugh. "And meet up and shake hands? What the hell kind of plan is that? That isn't a plan! It isn't a solution! Its being lazy and pretending this isn't real. But news flash its real, you die and I die or the other way around! What do you think will happen to not only me if your coven takes over mine, but you when I'm dead?" She said cocking her head to the side a little, she felt herself shaking a little out of anger.

"Lastly I know you aren't my black knight, what you are is a egotistical bipolar mistreated insanly unfairly handsome prick!" She finished letting a angrily huff out, her breath lingering on his skin. Ciara had not only forgot to breath in her anger but failed to realize that she should have stopped walking as she was now in his face as she had yelled the last part of it at him. She faintly smelt hot brick from where her fire had spread on both sides behind her as she had walked and she willed it away as soon as she realized it. A small issue with her fire was knew to happen when she was really mad, but she hadn't wanted to hurt Adam, so it had stayed behind her instead of going in front of her.

Slowly, ever so slowly Adam turned around. The anger was clear in her voice but what did she really expect of him? Every logical thought in his head told him to keep walking. Let her yell at his back and never look back. The only fault in his logic was that he had no choice but to see her again. And again. And again. Damn this woman would literally be the death of him. As he turned to face her his allowed his anger to boil in his veins and he summoned his power around him. A familiar brush of shadow licked at his skin as he flickered in and out of view a few times as she approached him.

“You are mistaken, darling, if you think I give a shit about your opinion.” Adam stated in a deadly calm voice as she started in. She started walking toward him and her flames grew violently behind her. It was quite beautiful to watch her anger be poured into bright orange and yellow flashes of color. The opposite of the shadow that was dancing across his skin. Despite the heat of her flames and anger, Adam stood his ground as she continued to advance on him. His cold dead eyes stayed locked on hers as she poured herself out in her words and power. Finally she stopped in front of him, her breath tickling his face and smelling slightly of her last meal. Chicken, if he had to guess. The last word she said hung heavily in the air as he continued to stare at her with the same deadly calm. After a few moments of tense and unmoving silence, Adam let out a soft cruel laugh.

“What the fuck did you expect me to say?” He took a step forward, forcing her to take a step back least she find herself pressed into his body. “Did you think I would join you in this fantasy world you are painting for yourself?” Another step. “Did you think I would come willingly participate in some secret training?” Another step. “You naïve pathetic little girl!” Another step and he had her pressed up against the brick of the building she had just scorched. He slammed his fists into the brick on either side of her head. “You live in a fantasy world where everyone is good and perfect! I do not fit into you rainbow picture, bitch! I am evil, I am darkness, and I am death! I tried to kill you, and I would try again if it did not mean killing myself! So, yes! I will come meet you once every three days to shake your fucking hand to stay alive. And yes, that is my solid plan. And when, not if, my coven takes over yours, I will save your pathetic worm of a life and throw you in the dungeon where I will continue to visit you every three days to stay alive.”

Adam’s breath was uneven and brushing across Ciara’s face even blowing a few strands of her hair away. Up this close, he could see the details of her face from the light freckles speckled across her nose and cheek bones to the way her eyes faded from a dark to light chocolate. He became aware that every couple of breaths he could feel her breasts brush against his chest. Slowly the ice in his eyes melted. As if on its own accord, his right hand came down from the wall and he used his index finger to trace a constellation her freckles formed on her cheeks. “Ciara.” He said softly as if tasting her name for the first time.
Every instinct told him to pull away but her brown eyes were shining in the most beautiful way, and her lips looked too sweet to pass up. With one finger under her chin, Adam tilted her face up just slightly to give him better access to her lips. A shiver ran down his spine and a strong wave of power he had never felt before uncoiled around him casting the alley way into a deeper darkness. The first press of his lips was soft and almost hesitant but it only lasted for a moment. His other hand ran down the wall until it was at her waist. Then he hand was gripping her left hip and yanking her hips into his with no gentleness. Meanwhile his lips pressed against her with bruising force and his tongue was pushing into her mouth without waiting for an invitation. His right hand tangled itself in her hair as he used his body to push her back into the wall so that her every curve pushed into his hard solid body. His tongue swirled and battled in her mouth trying to taste every part of her he could reach. The darkness around them continued to grow deeper until it was almost a solid object pushing the two of them together.

Unmoving, unblinking, she stared back at him as her words hung in the air, but she could care less. She wasn't afraid of him, like she knew she should be, she was angry. The sound of his cruel laugh only made it worse as Ciara glared at Adam for a moment before he started to speak."I.." She started as he took a step forcing her to step back, and another, and another, her eyes glaring at him as he called her naïve. After the next step back, she could feel her back press against the bricks of the wall behind her. Now warmer from when her fire had scorched it, yet cooled from the coolness of the night air, and though she didn't let herself show it, this was not a place she wanting to be.

Despite her efforts not to show him fear, she couldn't help but jump a little as his fists were slammed into the wall on either side of her head. In what world was he getting that she believed everyone was all good and perfect? She knew the world was quite the opposite. Really? Rainbows? Ciara kept her eyes on him as he yelled angrily at her. Calling himself death and threatening to kill her again. He's just trying to scary me. She thought to herself, as she watched him yelling at her, unblinking. Adam had already threatened to kill her so many times in the three times they had met up, yet he never really tied but the first time. Prehaps he didnt know it yet but she was really no longer afraid of this threat.

This was still the stupidest plan she had ever heard, also. It wasn't until the threat to throw her into the dungeon that she started to show fear instead of anger, swallowing hard as he started to talk about. The idea of being in a dark cell for the rest of her life in her head now. Would he really do that to her? No, he cared about her, he said so himself, he didn't want her to get hurt. He wouldn't throw her in a dark cell, knowing she was afraid of the dark. Would he? Her eyes looked over his angry face, feeling his uneven breath on her face as she asked herself that question. "Please don't put me in the dungeon, Adam." Ciara said, her voice a low whisper as her eyes started to water a little bit.

She could see it this time, the way his look changed, the cold heartless look that he had only moments ago gone and replaced with the one he held before. Ciara could feel his finger tracing some type of drawing on her cheek as he said her name so softly it made her actually blink. Even still his mood swifts surprised her at times. His finger tipping her chin up a little making her let out an uneasy breath, she should pull away. She knew she should, this was wrong and she knew it. She should look away from those beautiful blue eyes that caught her attenion competely everytime he was pressed this close to her. But she was forced against the wall, and the only thing she wanted to do was bite his bottom lip.

As if he could read her mind at that very moment, his lips found hers. His kiss was soft at first, something she truely wasn't supecting, and it took a moment before her lips started moving with his, kissing him back. This is wrong. She felt his hand come down and grab her hip roughly before pulling her hips into his. A shiver running down her spine, a mixture of pain and excitement running through her body. As she made a small noise into their kiss, her lips moving a little faster kissing him. Oh well, I don't fucking care. Ciara thought as she felt Adam's lips push roughly against hers, his tongue forcing it's way into her mouth, his hands in her hair. Oh, kissing him was just as amazing as she had imagined it would be. A soft moan coming from her as she was pinned between the wall and Adam's hard body. Clara's tongue started reacting to Adam's tongue as she carefully put her arms on his shoulders, trying her best not hurt him, her fingers coming to rest at the back of his neck. Trying to pull him even closer to her, fully enjoying herself as well as the passionate kiss.

As much as she was enjoying being pressed up again the wall by Adam body, slowly the pressure started to become to much, her ribs starting to sting from pain. A soft painful 'hmm' sound coming from her as her hand softly pushed against his shoulder, not to hurt him but make him realize he was hurting her. When he didn't budge, she felt a surge of power run through her, her warm light shifting around their bodies so that it didn't break the kiss but pushed against the darkness roughly, until it and the pressure was done. After another moment Ciara started to slowly pull away from the kiss, her teeth bitting his bottom lip and pulling on it as she moved away. Her breath came out rushed as she moved her arms from his shoulders eyes still closed. "Wow." She said breathlessly, before her wits came back to her and she shook her head.

"No, this isn't right. You're getting married, I shouldn't have..." She started as she looked up at him, before her eyes widened a little bit looking past him, to see nothing. Everything around them was a mixture of darkness and strikes of light. The only thing that were solid was the ground they were standing on and the wall Adam had her pushed up against. Ciara side stepped away from the wall and Adam as she looked around. "Adam." She whispered softly.

Adam was in no way new to the inner workings of a female’s body. Hell, he had slept with half of his coven and at kissed the other half at least once. There had never been a girl that had turned him down when he set his sights on them. Maybe that was why he was so cocky when it came to the opposite sex. When he was with a girl he knew how to make their mind spin, their breath stop, and their heart to fall. A soft kiss there, a rough push, a needy growl, and a few rolls of his hips and any woman became putty in his hands. But with Ciara… Oh with this women! The movements of his body were not just a predator playing with his prey, they came from a deep sort of need he had never felt before. Gods help him, he was the putty in her hands. With her lips on his, her fingers on his neck, her soft curves pressed again him he could not think, he could only act.

Adam’s hand tightened on Ciara’s hip when her lips began to respond to his own. The kiss went from a soft brush to a demanding need in the blink of an eye. Normally he would have played with her, make her beg for more but with her mouth willingly slanted against his own and her hunger as tangible as the night around him he could not help but take what he wanted. And he wanted her. An unexpected growl escaped from his throat when Ciara put her hands on the back of his neck to pull him closer. Her hunger in return to his own lit a part of him he could not even begin to describe. His hand slid from her hip to rest on her lower back in an attempt to hold her body as close to his own as he could while his other hand slid gently into her hair to support her neck. His tongue eagerly explored every inch of her mouth and even when he felt her pushing back against him he did not relent.

His powers did not register the influx in Ciara’s power, or at least his brain did not comprehend what was happening around him. That was at least till Ciara started to pull away from his mouth. He was about to protest until she took his lip between her teeth and pulled a moan from deep in his chest. Adam let out a small chuckle at her statement of wonder before he pressed his mouth against her forehead in a soft caress. “Wow is one way to put it. Who taught you to kiss like that? I’ll kill them.” He said just as his eye started to open.

With the heat of her mouth away from his own, the world slowly came back into focus. The lack of a world would be a better description. Adam turned his head in either direction trying to make sense of what he saw or didn’t see. Even when he shadow walked, the world did not look this… empty. His attention snapped back to Ciara as she pulled from his grasp claiming about how this wasn’t right. Adam couldn’t help but feel as if that was the most ‘right’ kiss he had ever received or given, but there was no way he was going to let her know that. Before he could stop them, all his shields slid back into place and the fire in his eyes died. “At least now you can die knowing how a kiss should feel. I pity the fool who is unlucky enough to get you for he will never be able live up to this experience. Now you will never be truly satisfied.” A smirk played on his lips as his mask finished settling down into place.

With a cool, calm, and collected attitude, Adam turned to one again survey the world around them. When Ciara took a step, the world around them seemed to blossom. Green grass replaced the cold grey concrete and a small clearing opened up around them. Slowly, he turned in a circle looking for the cause of this new world but no one else was there, only a green blanket of grass held together around the edges by an impenetrable barrier of darkness. His darkness he realized as he came to face Ciara again. “What is this? Do you have the power of illusions?” He asked with his brows furrowed.

Ciara couldn't help but smirk at the fact she had pulled a moan from him as she bit a pulled at his bottom lip as she broke the kiss. A weird sense for cocky pride that she wasn't very accustomed to filling her. Adam revealed in making her blush. Maybe she revealed in leaving him breathless she was finding. Still she couldn't help the wow that came from her lips as the kiss ended. To say that he was a good kisser might just be an understatement. She grinned as she felt his lips kiss her forehead. Chuckling at his words.

It wasn't right though, as much as she wished that it was, and oh how much she wished it was. He was still getting married soon. Granted she don't deserve Adam, he didn't deserve to have a wife that took pleasure in hurting him. This wasn't the type of girl she was, she wasn't a homewrecker. Maybe the type of girls in his coven didn't care, but she did. Even if it wasn't fair that she enjoyed his kissing her, touching her, and being pinned against that wall….Why wasn't it right again? No, she knew why. She told him it wasn't right to, something that he should know, about to be married.

His words pulled her attention back to him, and she gave him a dirty look. Clearly he wasn't used to not getting his way with girls, and with an attitude like that, it was a wonder why. “Oh look, Prickdam is back. Don't worry sweetie, I know you can kill a mood. You don't have to prove it to me.” She said frowning at his smirk before rolling her eyes. However, she attention was drawn away from as she stepped away from him and focused on the area surrounding them. Nothing but darkness, the concrete, and the wall she had been up against. Though as she took a step the ground around them turned to lush grass, somehow that seemed so much relaxing and she smiled a little.

This was really interesting and she couldn't help but wonder what was the cause of this as she took another step forward into the grass and the clearing widened slightly. Interesting how far would it spread? Her thoughts were interrupted by Adam stepping in front of her asking what this was, she opened her mouth only to close it and give him a look at his next question. “No, I already told you that my powers are fire and a shield. I have no idea what is going on.” Ciara said before looking around her. “It's really interesting though.” She looked at him, still looking like he was blaming her.

“Think about Adam, if wanted to take you some weird place. Would I put myself there so I had to deal with you mad at me for yet another reason?” She said hand patting his arm softly, only to wince at the starp shock and she rubbed her hand on her shirt. “Damn it ouch! So annoying I swear.” Frowning down at her now red hand before shaking it. Crouching down she felt the grass around them, it was real and if this was some weird illustration it had to be strong magic. “Is this what being in your cloak is like?”

Her fingers dug into the dirt for a moment before the grass turned lighter, sprouting flowers. Ciara couldn't help but let out a surprised noise as she pulled her fingers out and stood. The clearing around them turning into a meadow of flowers of different colors. She looked at Adam. “I swear I don't know what this is. You try something. See what happens.”

“Oh, but sweetheart, you would not like me nearly as much if I stopped being Prickdam. That would mean an end to all this shakiness between us. Admit it, Ciara, you are a huge fan of Prickdam.” Adam smirked down at her but the look quickly left his face when she took a step away from the wall he just had her against. The darkness just… evaporated. In its place was a lush green meadow. The beauty and serenity of it soothed him just a little and causing his tough guy armor to crack ever so slightly.

As he took in the meadow he prodded her about her powers, curious to know if she had this power he did not know about. A half hearted chuckle ripped from him at her response. “I don’t know, Ciara. A moment ago, when you were against that wall, you would have been willing to take me anywhere.” A shock ran up his arm and into his shoulder making all the wombs there bark in agony. “Fuck!” He quickly pulled his arm from her touch. “Bloody hell… what was that?” he mumbled as he rubbed his arm gently.

The world around him exploded with color. This was not his cloaking powers. The world never changed when he cloaked, it just became empty like a ghost town. No sound, no people, nothing but shadows and darkness. With a shake of his head, Adam told her “No, this is nothing like my shadow walking. When I step through the world it just becomes empty and dark. No sound, no people, no light. Just grey bleakness.” He took a few steps away from her only to watch the oddly dark horizon stretch with each step he took. It was almost as if their presence was making this meadow grow. How far out would it expand if he just kept walking towards the horizon?

Ciara’s voice called him back asking him to try something. But what would he try? He knew nothing about this place or how it worked. Then again neither did she and looked at all of the flowers that bloomed everywhere just because she touched the ground. “Okay… maybe all we have to do is touch something…” Without any better idea, he squatted and pushed his hand to the ground and digging his fingertips into the soft dirt. Nothing happened. He sat there for a heartbeat, then another, and another…

With a frustrated sigh he stood up, “If nothing I do can manipulate this… place… then it has to be your magic.” He turned towards her and a flash of light had him flinching and covering his eyes. When he finally pulled his hand away from his face, he saw it. The bight mid-day sun that had been over head had vanished and in its place with a purple tinted black night sky. Stars more numerous then he could count twinkled brightly lighting up the grass and flowers around them in a soft glow. “Beautiful…” He whispered as he turned slowly in a circle taking in the view around him.

Ciara rolled her eyes at his words as she moved past him. “Shakiness, the want to hit you. Whatever you want to call it.” Soon her attention was drawn more to the darkness around her though, or what was darkness. Now it was a beautiful lush meadow. Was she doing this? Adam had seemed to think so. He kept asking her if this was her power, it wasn’t, she had never done anything like this before. Adam’s next words made her look up at him and frown despite the fact her face turned a deep red. “You started kissing me first. And you're getting married. It's not going to happen again.” She said before she patted his arm. The shock that came from it was likely the worst one yet, and she shook her hand. ”I don't know, I'm sorry.”

Not even Ciara expected the flowers, sure she had thought the meadow would be prettier with flowers. Even still, she didn't expect to make them grow. Pulling her hand from the ground, she sat Indian style enjoying the flowers as Adam tried something. Sticking his hand into the dirt as she did. Ciara looked around waiting for something to happen. Only to roll her eyes when he said it must be her doing because he got nothing. ”I already told you it isn't.”

When he turned to look at her there was a flash of light that even had her shielding her eyes. When she unshielded her eyes, Adam was spinning around looking at the sky. It was kind of adorable really, and she smiled before looking up at the stars and taking them in, as well as the way it made the flowers itself glow with it. It was so beautiful, as surprising as it was this would be something he did.

Still looking at the stars, Ciara slowly stood and moved slowly to where she was a little closer to Adam. ”Okay, yours is prettier.” She said softly once she was a little closer, her eyes still on the stars as they started making what she guessed was their own constellations. Then suddenly the stars disappeared, she flashed Adam a confused look. Why did he take the stars away? It was then that she realized the grass and and flowers were gone too. ”What the hell?”

Ciara couldn't really explain it, there was a slight tingly feeling throughout her body. Almost like when they fought the first time. ”Cover your eyes.” She said reaching out and taking the hem of his shirt before the whole area was covered in light. It only took her a few moments for her eyes to adjust, but as she started to pull Adam closer it was like she was hit by a ton of bricks as darkness overwhelmed everything. Hitting Ciara enough to kick the wind out of her. She felt the bricks against her back as she struggled to catch her breath. The whole world spinning back to her, Adam's arm around her waist. There was a different light lighting up the alley as she opened her eyes and the sound of voices came to her stopping her from speaking.

”It isn't a solution! Its being lazy and pretending this isn't real. But news flash its real, you die and I die or the other way around! What do you think will happen to not only me if your coven takes over mine, but you when I'm dead?" The fire lighting the alleyway spread along the walls flickering from her anger, the light it was putting off fading just feet from where they were now standing. Adam standing perfectly still as Ciara walked towards him shaking it anger. ”Lastly I know you aren't my black knight, what you are is a egotistical bipolar mistreated insanely unfairly handsome prick!"

The flames died out as Adam let out a cruel laugh. “What the fuck did you expect me to say?” Then he started walking towards her and forcing her back. “Did you think I would join you in this fantasy world you are painting for yourself? Did you think I would come willingly participate in some secret training? You naïve pathetic little girl!” His fists hit the side of the walls on either side of Ciara’s head. You live in a fantasy world where everyone is good and perfect! And when, not if, my coven takes over yours, I will save your pathetic worm of a life and throw you in the dungeon where I will continue to visit you every three days to stay alive.” The soft, actually scared whisper of Ciara. ”Please don't put me in the dungeon, Adam."

Then Adam started kissing her, and as Ciara clearly started to getting into the kissing too. The alley was pulled into darkness. Before a flash of bright light filled it.

Ciara was forced to cover her eyes, and once the light stopped blinding her. She looked and they were just…..gone. ”What the FUCK just happened?!” She said looking at Adam.
