Shina was out in the middle, specifically in the middle shopping centre to get some groceries for food, she wasn't really keen on doing some groceries in the skyline since she didn't want anything high end, like half a pound of fish that cost like $2000. She enjoyed the middle, much more than anyone would like, she was stood there in the produce isle in the grocery of the shopping centre, she wasn't wearing her visor but instead wore a beanie and a black eye mask, this kept most her features of being a Cirath out of the way, but other than very obvious blue skin it may not be the best disguise, then again it wasn't a disguise it was more of a casual look for the Cirath Weapons designer, she wore a black hoodie, jeans, gray gloves and white high tops.

Shopping had it's problems, she could still see where everything is through her heightened senses but she can't really read or decipher anything on how it looks, but she knows the general gist of something just by the texture and how she senses it. She had an assistant with her, someone to read and say if the thing she's buying has gone bad or something, it was short girl, dressed all formal like a secretary, even though Shina herself said it was unnecessary for her to wear anything like that but the girl insisted.

"Melissa, Is this still good?" She asked, holding up fresh iceberg lettuce.

Melissa took time to examine it, then replied. "Yes ma'am it's good."

"No need to be formal here Melissa, we're friends after all, please call by my first name." Shina stated as smiled at her, being formal out of work is something she didn't see fit.

"Oh uhm... If you say so... Urr... Shina." Replied the girl.

Shina clapped her hands and nodded at the girl, she then placed the lettuce in her basket then moved on. Suddenly, after a few more isles down, Melissa suddenly pulled on Shina's shirt and said. "Ma'am- I mean, Shina, it's Ms. Emberlee, you told me to always inform you when we see her."

Shina smiled and nodded, "Thank you Melissa, you can go home now if you want, Scarlet and I are going to have quite the chat."

"Are you sure ma- ur, Shina?" Melissa asked

"I'm sure." Shina replied

"Sure, if you say so... Be careful on your way home." Melissa said.

"I will, thank you Melissa." Shina promised.

Shina then walked over to Scarlet who was looking at a carton of milk, examining it and mumbling to herself. She then held out her finger and poked her neck.

Scarlet was in the dairy section, Jacob needed milk for some reason and she didn't know why, but she was gonna get it anyway. Though all of a sudden, something cold touched her neck, she flinched then turned to see what it was. It was Shina.

"Hey, what the hell!" Scarlet exclaimed, as she rubbed her neck.

She didn't like it when she did that, but she does very often, way too often.

Walt Grismer

Walt was already a good distance from the jewelry store, he hadn't seen any heightened alert so he figured the associate had just figured he couldn't take the smell and then left himself, it wasn't like the worst smell, more like a really bad fish. Walt set himself down at a table in the food court, he took off his jacket and flipped up the collar, "Gotta keep it safe, don't need a random Drow pat down." he muttered to himself as he stared to enchant the studs under the collar and stick his invisible bounty to them. Walt was always impressed with himself, he had to alter his clothes to make the most of his magic, and he tended to carry small stones around now, but for a transporter like him, it was a small price to pay.

Walt took a moment after getting his coat back on to look about there were lots of people around, more people than he expected even for a mall opening, ring city was quite the bustlong metropolis. He got up and snagged a couple slices of pizza from a nearby court restaurant, before sitting down to people watch, there were so many people, it was always interesting to see who you'll find.

Anything Goes

Liam and Gabrielle finished eating their food, cleaned up, and walked out of the food court. They had both bought a lot of things and were getting bored of the shopping centre at the moment. The siblings made their way through the large shopping centre, looking for the exit. Suddenly, all player characters could see an unusual green outline appear around them and feel an uneasy feeling in their chests. Everyone then found themselves on a mysterious empty subway train. The train started to speed up to impossibly fast speeds for a few seconds, scaring some of the passengers inside before abruptly stopping at a station that had generated an unusually eerie feeling about it.

When they exited the train, they saw that the station was completely empty except for one, who was standing alone in the middle of the station. They were all greeted by the mysterious individual who could be identified as a human skeleton. It was wearing casual clothes consisting of a unusual looking hoodie, jeans, sneakers, and sunglasses that covered his empty eye sockets. The skeleton looked over at them, making his way over, and waved.

”Yo!”

Smoke
Location: Middle Shopping Center

"There'll be no need for that."

Smoke had been watching the situation unfold, and seeing the masked woman's response encouraged him to approach and attempt to defuse the situation. Although the happenstance before him seemed tense, Smoke retained his casual, carefree demeanor as he walked towards the cashier girl. However, he seemed to be quite a bit taller than he had been moments before, and was now at least half a foot taller than the masked woman.

"Go ahead and get back to the store. And here," He said to the small cashier, producing a stack of fifteen hundred dollar bills and giving them to the girl. "For your troubles." He continued with a smile, waving to the girl as she nervously took the money and left.

He then turned his attention to the masked woman, a glow emanating from his eyes as he stepped closer to her, the two now standing only a few feet apart. He didn't say anything for a few minutes, instead simply gazing into her eyes; the one uncovered at least. Then, with a smile, he spoke.

"So I guess material goods isn't the best way for me to thank you, is it? He asked, casually scratching the back of his neck.

"Sorry about sending the girl, rather than doing it myself. Call me a romantic, but I've always enjoyed the Secret admirer approach." He continued with a soft chuckle.

He then picked up the bag filled with a dozen various dresses, and extended them to her.

"But it'd be a crime to let these good dresses go to waste, that girl did have a nice taste. She's got a knack for fashion. Maybe you'd let me thank you, and apologize, over a nice meal? I've heard there's high expectations from the Chinese place in the food court."

It seems that Chinese wasn't in the cards for either Smoke or the masked woman as a green outline appeared around them. Smoke knew what was happening, and as they teleported into the train he instinctively stepped forward, keeping himself between the skeleton and the others. Turning to look at the strangers, he noticed that there were quite a few others in the train, and after sizing them up, he spoke.

"Stay behind me. I'll handle this."

Above the new shopping center a medium sized hover craft loomed about 100 meters above the roof. Painted jet black and with high tech engines that could outrun any police vehicle in the city the ship is quite an intimidating sight for any police who would try to give chase to say the least. It's crew, however, was a complete different story. The crew was formed of the most hardened and merciless criminals you could find in the region. Together the made up the infamous crime group called the black ring. Now a mere 100 meters above the mall 17 men of different species from the black ring stood preparing their weapons and equipment for a raid on a jewelry store that was housed in the shopping center called "Cut". The store belonged to one of the richest gem cutters in the Skyline area named Colroy Geat.

The only thing that marked the men of the black ring was every one of them was wearing a black skull mask which was upgraded with a high tech HUD that could pick up threats, non-threats, security cameras, ect. In the middle of the group Jet sat with his back leaned against the wall of the ship, he had already checked his gear over multiple times and was now waiting for the leader of the raid, Splice, to give the order to attack. Splice was a giant reptilian who stood over 7 feet tall and his heart was as cold as his blood.

15 minutes went by before the sliding door on the side of the craft slowly and silently slid open with a small hiss. Splice walked over to the edge and looked down, they were directly on top of the jewelry store. "Alright worms you all know the mission so i wont waste my breath explaining it again, take everything and leave nothing." The reptilian said through clenched teeth, "Oh and one last thing, waste any cop or security who stands in out way." With those final words he jumped out of the ship and descended on the roof. Jet stood up readied his weapon and prepared to descend.

Maggy followed the girl for a moment before a voice stopped the cashier. And of coarse it was the monkey from before, it couldn't have been some other random person could it? She let out a growl as she turned to face Smoke, but she found herself looking at his chin rather than his eyes. He'd gotten taller somehow, Maggy quickly corrected herself, now having to look up at Smoke. "So it was you..." Maggy frowned watching the cashier leave with her hands full of cash. Her eye twitched when Smoke got closer, she might've taken a step back but that would've made it look like she was afraid. Maggy couldn't have that, so she herself took another step forward, meeting Smoke part way. They were very close now, Maggy's teeth grated against one another as she glared at Smoke.

Maggy was just about done with this guy, then he spoke about thanking her. Why the hell is he thanking me? He's obviously just an idiot... Maggy wasn't amused at all, this guy was hitting on her and talking about the "secret admirer approach". Maggy was going to be sick. This dude didn't know how to take a hint did he? "Ooooh ok, I get it now. You're completely incompetent. I don't know if I made it clear enough before but. I. Want. You. To. Fuck. Off." Maggy again turned her back on Smoke and started walking off, her red eye dimly glowing with her rage. Things only got worse when she found herself telported.

She looked around at all of the people. She'd not been the only one taken onto the train it seemed, there was only a few others. Not all of them were of interest to Maggy, but there was some people who caught her attention. Firstly there was a spider chick, she looked interesting, Maggy had never seen someone with a monstrous appearance like her before. Then there was this blue bitch with a visor, she looked like an asshole. Maggy then spotted Smoke. Her red eye started glowing red, not super bright, but it would be instantly noticeable. Luckily before she could do anything the train started speeding up, forcing her to hold onto some rails for balance.

Then it stopped, the force almost making Maggy fall. Maggy hissed and walked out the door of the train, looking around to try and see what the hell was going on, it was just some skeleton in casual clothes. And... Smoke... Of coarse he needed was being the big man and was going to "Handle" this. It was just some fucking bones, Maggy didn't have time for this shit. "Yeah as if I'd listen to you, Romeo. Out of my way I'm leaving." Maggy shoved past Smoke and stormed towards the skeleton. "What way is the exit?" Maggy's red eye would twitch as she glared at the skeleton.

Anything Goes

The skeleton would notice a lady in a dress walk up to him with her visible eye glowing red. She seemed like a rude and violent individual. ”I’ll get to you later.” The skeleton said, passing the angry woman and stood in front of Smoke.

”What’s up, Dah’k? Finally died, have you?” He said cheekily before he saw a group of people behind the elemental.

”Hey, everyone. I’m your friendly neighbourhood Death.” He said, waving to all of them in a cheerful way before getting a sudden realization.

”Wait a second...” He said, pulling out a tombstone with a list of names on it, scrolling through it like a mobile device screen.

”Okay, I don’t see any of your names on here. So all of you have been accidentally transported here. I can’t just let you out of here either, we have rules down here, and The Devil won’t let me. You’ll have to survive at least two days here and then I’ll be able to get you guys out.”

The skeleton materialised a skateboard right before everyone’s eyes and started riding it over to the exit way of the station. He motioned for everyone to follow and when they did they were greeted with a place that didn’t look too different from the real world.

The skateboard the skeleton was riding then vanished and he turned to the group once again. ”Welcome to Hell!” He told them, before the skateboard appeared in his hands again.

”I’ve installed an app on your phones that will contact me when you open it. It's like an alert system. Only use it if you need me to come save your asses from anything or if you just wanna talk to your Uncle Death. I also gave those without phones a temporary one. Have fun and try not to get killed!” Upon saying that, he rode off on the skateboard, leaving them to venture through Hell.

Liam and Gabrielle turned to everybody else. “So, how’s it going?” They both said simultaneously.

Walt looked around as Death spoke, dead well he would be lying if he hadn't been expecting to go sooner or later but he had a lot of things on his list to do. A quick survey of the field told him that the big guy talking with death was tough and important, so likely heavily targeted, the pretty one looked too volatile and the two that tried to be pleasant, too trusting, not a soul here so far that he thought might keep him alive, at least he had Avaline.

Walt went ahead and just decided to head into what appeared to just be ring city, though Death seemed pretty serious about the whole he'll thing. "Sure glad to be dead." He said with a chuckle as he passed Gabby and Liam.

Scarlet and Shina were at the counter, paying for what they bought, Scarlet had this feeling still looming around her maybe it was just from the cold touching her so suddenly. Shina couldn't help but smile, teasing the shorter girl was always something she loved doing, and since Shina is much more famous throughout the Ringed City as a weapons designer than the Scarlet who works at a workshop in the middle, it is much more easier for Shina to get around (And get free stuff).

As Scarlet extended her hand to give the money, a green outline appeared around them and they were suddenly somewhere else, a metro, yeah it looked like a metro. Shina didn't expect the sudden teleport, nor was it her who did it but they came face to face with some skeleton prick when they got off the train.

They weren't the only one there, there were others as well, a tall chick in a dress, a drow of some sort, a whole lot of different things; but, Shina was facing someone specifically the man with a smokey aura, his presence was barely there, but she knew he was there, it was like she knew him or something but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

"Shina? You alright?" Scarlet asked.

"Yeah, I just thought I know that guy." Shina replied, shaking her head, it didn't seem odd for Shina to shake her head she was quite social even for a Cirath.

Shina watched as that same guy, stepped forward to defend everyone, but that tall chick had other plans, walking up herself and yelling at the skeleton thing with her eyes glowing or something, the two didn't know what he was until that point. Shina couldn't feel his presence at all and it was annoying her, but as soon as that thing spoke and said ”What’s up, Dah’k? Finally died, have you?” Shina suddenly shifted, her stance got lower and she started to feel a bit nervous.

For Shina, that name echoed in her head for a long time now, ever since her becoming of Cirath, but she didn't know who or what it was, but now that gave her enough information for her to know that she should stay away.

"Scar... Stay by me." Shina let out, in all seriousness.

Scarlet felt her seriousness and she knew that she did need to stay by her as best as she could, though she was less capable than her, she shouldn't be counted out. Shina moved her hand and wrapped it around Scarlet's wrist softly, making sure she wasn't hurting her. Scarlet had to heat up her veins so that it wouldn't feel so cold when Shina held her wrist.

"Shina... I-" Scarlet tried to say.

"Hush! I'm having trouble right now." Shina replied, rather seriously.

"I can help you." Scarlet pleaded.

"No, you can't, not this time." Shina shook her head and turned to face her.

Scarlet then just stayed quiet, maybe she couldn't help, maybe Shina can help with this. ”Welcome to Hell!” said Death, and Shina tightened her grip on Scarlet's wrist, she began to grind her teeth like this was a situation she shouldn't be in, she almost felt like she dragged Shina down here with her, but maybe not. ”I’ve installed an app on your phones that will contact me when you open it. It's like an alert system. Only use it if you need me to come save your asses from anything or if you just wanna talk to your Uncle Death. I also gave those without phones a temporary one. Have fun and try not to get killed!” Shina then fished the temporary phone out her pocket and handed it to Scarlet.

"You know I can't use this, you hold it." Said Shina.

"No I can't take it, it's bounded to you." Scarlet replied.

"Right..." Shina muttered.

Suddenly, two people spoke after Death had left with a "So, how's it going?"

"Well, things could be-" She was cut off by Shina who just pulled on her arm.

"Why are you so hostile all of a sudden? These people could help us." Scarlet whispered.

"I've never been wrong to you right? Just trust me, you don't want to get caught along with them." Shina whispered back.

Shina was rather intelligent, she knew that trusting so many people may be a bad choice, for both their statuses. Especially since she knos who one of them is.

It was halfway through scaling up a building in plain sight(cloak op), when It was... teleported to a subway train. Now, this wasn't the first time it had been abruptly teleported, and was the only time It'd seen it done to multiple people at once, seeing as though there were at least another eight people who seemed just as surprised and pissed off from the sudden teleportation, but that certainly didn't stop It from observing this "Death" from speaking. This one seemed different from this iteration of Death... more powerful, perhaps?

Regardless, It watched Death once again walk off, explaining something about being in Hell. So much for lightning never striking twice... slowly but surely, it came out of its cloak, not really worried that the group would be a threat, since they mostly looked like kids, and general thugs. Nothing It hasn't dealt with before. They spoke amongst each other, though it didn't care.

"..." It made a slight sound to announce it's presence, before making its way towards them out of the train, crushing the phone It was given as it went.
"Name, designation, and purpose?" It asked... basically everyone. The blades on its wrist coming out, deliberately slowed, as to try to at least scare some of them into information. It could use the truth serum, but that would require cutting someone, and that required effort.

Smoke
Location: Middle Shopping Center

Smoke gave a soft sort of chuckle as the Skeleton rode away on his skateboard, then turned to face the others as he softly spoke to himself.
"As if I'd die so soo-" Suddenly, he stopped speaking as his eyes caught a girl with a blueish hew of skin who clearly seemed to be having a... hard time seeing things as they were.

Smoke was torn, on one hand, there was the Masked woman who was piquing his interest more and more with each second. He had never met someone quite so defiant of a god, particularly himself. On the other hand, it seemed that a relative was among this small gathering of individuals, not to mention a certain assassin he had known for quite some time. Each one of them called for his attention, and he wasn't completely sure which one to give it to.

Well, after all, Family Comes First.

Smoke dissipated into a trail of smoke that moved almost instantaneously from his position to a mere few feet before the Cirath girl, and as he solidified, a wicked smile was spread across his face underneath of his mask.

"Hello, Niece." He greeted, his eyes completely transfixed on the girl, completely ignoring the other young woman who's wrist she seemed to be holding.

"I couldn't help but overhear, but you weren't thinking about hiding from dear old uncle smoke, were you?" He asked with a bit of a chuckle.

"After all, I'm sure you know how he feels about relatives visiting without notice." He said quietly, taking a step closer to her, his eyes pulsing white ever-so-slightly.

Smoke had long since Established a rule regarding Elemental's and their descendants when it came to Ring City. He was to know the moment one walked onto his home territory, and they were required to come running when he called. He had been attacked by the descendants of his slain brothers and sister far, far too many times to allow them free-roam like some of the other Elementals. Above all else, smoke defended his home of Ring City, and when aggressive people with the blood of Elementals appeared, they rarely did so without causing a fair bit of damage to his home.

This Niece of his was likely no exception.

Scarlet was surprised, she placed her hand on the small foldable weapon on her belt, but Shina stepped in front of her, gesturing her to stand down. She turned to Smoke's general direction, but his anchor to the physical world was so weak that she could not see very well, she was staring at his shoulder from what it look like.

"Uncle? As far as I'm aware I was told I would have no family here. I've stayed in the Ringed city for years and never have been told that you were here nor have you ever existed." Shina stated.

She gestured for Scarlet to move as far away as she can, join the others if she can, this interaction is not for her. Scarlet had to, trusting Shina never went wrong, so why break the streak; she walked off, making sure to keep an eye on them as she made distance.

"I know what you did, for all I know you caused me to turn into..." She gestured herself, "This." Said Shina.

Was this pushing it? She glanced at Scarlet then turned head back to face the masked man.

"I've been working in the Ardnasil Company in the Skyline for 3 years, and I was never told you existed, but after Death said your name... I figured that after all those years of me not being able to sleep because of that name, it must be true you live." Shina replied, rather aggressively than before.

"So what now? Are you going to kill-..." She took another glance at Scarlet, "Nevermind, forget I even said anything." Shina continued.

Maggy clicked her tongue as Death brushed her off, she was just about ready to hit something, her eye blaring red. It appeared that this Skeleton was Death, as in the Death. Maggy forced herself to calm a little, she might've been slightly deranged, but she wasn't an idiot. From what he was saying, it seemed there had been some kind of mix up and now Maggy was trapped in hell for two days. Wasn't that just perfect. And she was stuck with a bunch of wankers, well Death didn't say anything about them needing to stay together, and it seemed they dickweed with glowing eyes was preoccupied with the blue bitch. Maggy simply started walking towards the stations exit, she did't need these fools, and she'd be able to drop her disguise here in hell, and most likely kill some things. Maggy would've been a good distance away when the assassin showed themselves, shit she had no idea he was there. Maybe she'd keep her disguise up for a while after leaving the station.

She walked out and looked around, this place seemed normal so far, just like home actually. Something didn't feel right thought, something in Maggy's stomach felt wrong, not just emotionally but physically she felt ill. And not the kind of ill from her toxic bile, something was very wrong with this place. She knew it was hell, but she still didn't expect a feeling like this.

Anything Goes

A sad looking spirit would appear in front of Maggy, standing there for a few moments before moving off. When everyone got to the city, they would find lots of spirits moving about the eerie city. Some would interact with the new arrivals to hell, others kept quiet.

Liam and Gabby started walking through Hell after they realised that talking to the others didn’t seem like it was going anywhere. They got far into the city, observing all the different places that were scattered around the place. They continued walking, well away from everybody else when something very, very bad happened. A demon appeared in front of them while they weren’t paying attention, grabbing hold of Liam. Gabby tried to save her brother but the demon teleported away before she could get to it.

She knelt down, pounding the ground a few times. ”No, no, no, no. How could this happen?! Why did this happen?!” She said to herself, on the verge of crying.

She eventually pushed back the tears and stood up. She needed to find a place to stay for the time being. Doing some searching, the spider managed to find a hotel in Hell. That is where she will have to stay for her two days in Hell. She lay in her bed as she pondered how she would ever be able to find that demon.

Maggy got ready to attack the spirit, wielding a purple ball of energy in her hand. But it seemed this spirit thing was harmless, Maggy watched as it floated off, she didn't let her guard down the entire time she watched it, ready to strike if needed. Fortunately it left as fast as it came, drifting off into one of the buildings. Must be a spirit of the dead or something like that, this was hell after all. She clicked her tongue and moved on, she couldn't waste time just standing around, she needed to move, find somewhere she could hold out.

Maggy walked deeper into the city, running into many spirits along the way, she didn't touch them, not sure if they'd try suck he soul out of her body and take it for themselves. But they seemed to avoid her for the most part, she had no idea why, just like she no idea why her stomach still felt so off. But it didn't take that long before she ran into something a little more nasty looking than the spirits. It was unquestionably a demon, it had the lower half of a horse, but in place of the head it had a gruesome looking maw, a mix between a crocodile and a bulldog was the best way Maggy could process it. The creature wasted no time rushing her instantly, mouth hanging open, drooling on the floor as it's hooves thundered towards Maggy.

Maggy hurled a energy ball at the beast but it was unfazed, obviously much tougher than most worldly beast of a comparable size, Maggy switched tactics and rushed the beast head on. The beast lunged at her only to meet a fist, teeth were sent flying out of it's mouth and the creature reeled in pain. "Not that tough then." Maggy said, her red eye practically burning at the point. The beast wasn't done though and clamping down on her extended arm. Maggy hissed as the demonic fangs scraped away at her scales, some even puncturing her skin. She screamed in rage raising her arm into the air, beast still attached, then slamming it back down behind her. The demons grip failed and let go of Maggy's arm, Maggy wasn't finished though, and she started stomping into the monster mouth, crushing it's brain through the roof of it's mouth.

Maggy looked around, rage and blood lust radiating from her, as she looked for more things to kill. And surely enough that was not the only demonic hound monster, there was many many more. Maggy smiled, her disguise dropping, showing her true colours, and with both eye glowing she charged into combat with the demons.

She'd been fighting hounds for ages, their numbers slowly declining. She killed them with little effort, but did sustain injuries, her dress had also been almost completely destroyed, only torn scraps remained, revealing most of her body. She was covered in cuts, clearly the onslaught of weaker beast was succeeding at wearing her down, blood loss and fatigue were sure to set in eventually. This is when a booming voice made itself know to Maggy, all the remaining hounds stopped and backed away as something big made it's way towards her. "Trespasser! I've finally caught up to you. My scouts seemed to keep you busy enough. But your time is up."

Maggy turned to see a massive red paw. She cackled as she looked up at the rest of the massive beast. She was being confronted buy a gigantic red dog. "You face Redfang, the hell-hound. What are your final words?" The beasts voice radiated malice the creature was obviously restraining itself, wanting to rip her into tiny pieces. But it also seemed like it was following orders.

Maggy laughed, blood still dripping from many wounds across her body. "Bring it on Clifford!" She yelled leaping at the monster. The beast responded with a lunge catching Maggy in it's mouth. It found that it's prey wasn't the most receptive to being eaten and was holding his mouth open. The hell-hound started running around shaking it's head violently in an attempt to get Maggy's grip to fail, but her wing arms held onto the beasts snout and her legs pushed down on the lower jaw, keeping her firmly locked inside it's mouth.

Smoke

Smoke smiled behind his black mask as she spoke, his eyebrows raising as he began to ask if he would kill her, before glancing to her human friend and quickly ending the question. Smoke thought over what she had said before responding, addressing each thing in order.

Firstly; If someone had told her that no-elemental would be here, it was likely a knowing lie, and that person was also likely aware of how Smoke tended to respond to Elementals, or their descendants, entering his city unannounced. With that assumption in play, it seemed like someone out there was hoping Smoke would do their dirty-work for them and get rid of her.

Secondly; if she we aware of who he was, and that he was inside Ring City, she likely would have done whatever it took to stay far, far away from the man who slayed her 'Father' as if he were nothing more than a pest. So it wouldn't make much sense for her to be here if she was aware of him or his presence.

Finally; she had been working in the area for a least a period of three years, which was rarely something a public enemy as powerful as her would do. She was invested in this town's prosperity, not destruction.

"No, I don't slaughter Gods and their Children anymore dear." He said with a smile, pausing for a moment before continuing.

"Less you give me reason."

Walt Grismer

Hell... wasn't the worst place he had ever been, Walt had seen some of the shittiest places that earth had to offer, at least here, things were straight forward, no one trying to weasel their way into good graces under false pretenses, no subterfuge by conniving siblings or jealous parents, it was actually not a place he minded being in. BLAM! a demon fell silent, a hole in the forehead, this was not a place he wanted to be in anymore, spirits were one thing but murderous demons, no, not today. Walt held his pistol at the ready now, as he had no intention of being killed for real, no matter what he had to stay alive, too much left to do. Walt could hear fighting all over the place he could even see in the distance a dragon like humanoid fighting a large dog, he shook his head, not getting in the middle of that mess.

Walt kept moving along the road, it looked like his usual grounds in the undercity, the amount of spirits here was greater than the other places, but as he moved, he started to approach a hotel that he had frequented from time to time, but as he approached he was confronted by a pair of humanoid demons, spikes protruding from all over and large wings spread from their backs.

"Death comes for you today mortal. We will tear you limb from limb!" the demon hissed at him as the took false swipes at him and gnashed their mangled fangs. Walt looked at them unimpressed, as he pulled his pistol up and fanned the hammer twice, letting loosed two rounds of blinding light, as they hit the demons they howled in pain as the burned and fell to ash.

"Not wise to piss off an enchanter, holy bullets are a real pain to a lot of things." Walt chuckled as he pushed open the door to the hotel and walked in, he opened the cylinder of his gun and put new rounds in. "Two days of just chilling out in a hotel and then I go home, whats the worst that could happen?" Walt asked, tempting fate.

"I won't give you a reason, nor will I ever." Shina replied.

Shina has dealt with many threats, but if this one became one, it would be over for her, and knowing Scarlet, her too. She hated thinking about that, how Scarlet would willingly fight at her side, and even die if the time comes. She couldn't help but overthink it, why did they have to exist in the same place together, life would have been so much easier if they never met.

"Look, I suggest we talk more about this once we're out of here, I can't promise I'd be fully keen to answering your questions right now." Shina replied.

"Come on Scar, let's get through these two days." Shina stated, gesturing Scarlet to follow her.

"Yeah, right." Scarlet replied, her voice was low, it was kinda awkward being present at that point.

As they walked through, it got warmer; Scarlet didn't expect the city to look like this, but Shina on the other hand kept walking like it was a normal Tuesday in the middle. Scarlet hurried along, making sure to steer Shina away from anything she can't sense.

"Hey, you been here before?" Scarlet asked, kind of seriously but not really.

"No, I just don't see Hell as that much of a threat." Shina replied as she kept.

"... What?" Scarlet, baffled by this just couldn't say much.

"What? It's not like I'll allow myself to get hurt here." Shina stated.

"Yeah but-" Scarlet said.

She was cut off by a gangly demon or whatever he was, he seemed like a normal human but he had a glowing tattoo all over his body, he had a scruffy beard and fangs.

"Well, aren't you two pretty, where are you two going?" He said, his voice was scratchy.

"Where we're going does not have anything to do with you." Shina replied.

"Oh, you're gonna be like that." He said in a rather sad tone that obviously faked, "Fine then." He said with a smirk.

The man held out his finger and poked Scarlet right on the head, he then whispered. "32 hours."

"What did you do to-" But before Shina could finish, he vanished.

"You alright?" Shina asked.

"Yeah, that was just weird, his finger was sweaty and rough." Scarlet said, wiping whatever was on her head with the loose sleeve of her shirt.

"Alright, let's avoid as much things as we can." Shina offered.

"Got it." Scarlet replied.

They walked, but Scarlet wasn't at a 100% anymore, something was definitely off.

Anything Goes

Two days have past and Gabby still hasn’t found her brother yet. She lay in her bed, distraught at her inability to rescue Liam. She opened her eyes but found that she couldn’t move a single limb, not even a finger. There was a shadowy figure with red eyes in the corner of the room, staring right at her. The thing looked evil and Gabby was starting to fear for her life.

Several moments pass and she began to feel movement in her body again. Still with her eyes on the mysterious creature, Gabby blinked, and the thing was gone when her eyes opened again. She was confused about the whole situation. Did she experience sleep paralysis? It didn’t matter to her, it was time to leave this place.

She got everything she needed when she got a text from Death, telling her where the meeting place was. Everyone soon arrived at the meeting place, the eerie train station that everyone arrived in on the first day. Gabby saw an unusual costumed individual among the group of people, he had an weird but familiar feeling to him. Was he a friend of Death or something? Everyone got in and the train started moving. It sped up to impossibly fast speeds again before they all found themselves on the streets of Ring City once again. They survived Hell.

Ji-Eun was suddenly surprised from the large amount of people who just popped up in the street. Suddenly her form changed and she stood there in her Avarian form. She analysed everyone there and held on her needle before walking a bit forward towards them. She scanned to see a redhead, a spider-girl, a blue skinned girl with a visor and a lot more. Her stance was low trying to see where they came from or from what magic this could have started in.

"Where did all of you come from?" Her emotionless voice sounded quite intimidating, but that might not stop those who do not fear her.

This wasn't the first time people come to this alley, but after she had looked at the blue girl and then she saw the redhead and she knew exactly who they were; though Ji-Eun had a choice on which one she would approach first, she chose the redhead.

"Ms. Emberlee." Said Ji-Eun, "I don't know what you are doing here along with these others, but I want to thank you for taking the burden to forge this weapon for me, I'm grateful." Ji-Eun thanked, kneeling down in front of the inventor.

Her eye also never trailed far from the blue girl, she knew she was a Cirath but maybe the Cirath didn't know what Ji-Eun was. Her form them switched back, she was good ol' Lee Ji-Eun again, wearing a gray hoodie, a gray bonnet, black pants, and brown boots, she even had earphones trailing from her ears into her pocket, but yet the needle stayed by in her arm in it's full form.
