@Eviledd1984 You're accepted, but please make sure to read the OP in detail, as well as at least two or so pages of the game so far. Try to keep up with the standard of effort we've seen so far.
You're free to ask for clarification if anything seems wonky to you. Note that the hero section is out of date and will be scrapped.
[@everyone else]Turn has changed, you may regenerate Might according to your level and number of sanctuaries.
I'd also like to make something as clear as possible, given that it's lately caused some problems:
If you want something to be canon, you should write it.Creation sheets and summaries are fine for writing details that don't fit in the prose. Implying minor details is fine too. Writing details as they become relevant is also, generally, fine. Don't sacrifice your prose for the sake of clarifying everything.
But if you want something done, you must do it, and if you want something created, you must create it. If you try to bring something up as canon that you haven't actually written about, you're liable to be overruled.
For example, in
this post, Lasis created a species of insectoids to defend her holy site. They're created in two sentences and we know absolutely nothing about them other than what they look like and that they resist corruption. We don't know what they're called, what they're like, what they do, or how many there are. More importantly, none of them have actually done anything in the prose, even in non-speaking roles.
For now, this is fine. You don't need to flesh out a creation as soon as you create it! Sometimes you don't necessarily need to flesh it out at all.
But at the moment, because they're not anything in particular, they're also not disciples of Lasis in any appreciable way. I'm extremely disinclined to hand out 2.5 Might for a footnote.
Divinus is a very free-form game and every rule can be easily changed or bent when the time is right, but claiming Might without the required prose, or writing prose without the required stats, is both against the rules and against the spirit of the game.
Because it's the first time this has come up and because I've played with WrongEnd before, I'm going to let it slide. In the future, if you want rules to be relaxed for you,
contact me about it. If you have questions or concerns,
contact me about it. The you feel like the rules are bothering you or restricting your natural writing,
contact me about it.That's all.
