@ZelosseWith Angel's character basically being a walking despair magnet I'd prefer more contemporary powers at the moment.

@vancexentan maybe just the flight mutation then. I'll work on a cs after work.

@SalviaThe quirk doesn't make much sense to me. How can steam be molded into weapons when its an incorporeal substance. That's like turning lava into a weapon without hardening it.

@vancexentan I ended using steam as the name mainly because of the apparence and aspect of it, also because it would be easier to explain. Let me try to phrase it better than I did in that prototype sheet: It's a steam-like substance, gasuous at first when emitted but may be hardened and turned solid. It can be manipulated by the user in nearly all aspects, including physical state.

Why not just steal Momo's quirk in that case? Its basically the same thing but without the side effect of having to expel that, and wait for it to harden?

Well, I also mentioned the maneuverability and distraction that the steam provides Kaito. And also, the expeling and hardening depending on what you're creating would take less than a second (a spear for example) so not much of a drawback unless it is something more sophisticated. And there's also the side effect of the Berserk state.

If I were to change the quirk, I would focus more on it since his thing is pretty much, being tactical and outsmarting enemies while sane (Dr. Jekyl) and overpowering enemies with brute force and no thought while going Berserk (Mr. Hyde).

That's one way of putting Akane.

@SalviaAlright then how durable is this? Steel? Something tougher? I'm not letting it harden in the bodies of other people because then you use the smoke, and then you suffocate any hero you come across.

No no, that wasn't my intent, plus that would be too easy. I'll add a limiter to that in the limit section.

And I do think I wrote the durability in there, depends how much time he spends and how used to the material he is. But if I were to say the extent of how hard it can get, the limit would be as hard as the real deal can be: If it's a rod of steel, then as hard as steel, if it's rope, as flexible and hard as the real deal, etc, etc.

Well by using that logic he can make Titanium walls and just laugh at people. It needs a definitive hardness limit.

True true. Let's say...yea, I guess steel works. It's pretty sturdy, not everything can go through it, but nothing someone with inhuman strength can't tear through.

Alright I can work with that. I'll allow the quirk as it is for now with that if it needs to be nerfed I'll get to that when it comes along.

@Dark Light I'm not sure what you're doing with that quirk. Are you saying you can stretch your arm or something by bending space? Wouldn't it just be easier to have an elastic body?

Ok so if he brought point A closer to point B
It would appear as what ever passes through/between these points stretches.
Point A and B don't 'appear' any closer but the space between them has condensed so if you walked or reached through it you would get a 'crazy mirror' effect.
Glass fishbowl sorta thing.

I don't know how else to explain it. He bends space, he doesn't go elastic but the most common way he uses it might give that appearance.

Alright I'm not sure I can understand this concept quite properly but bending space is often considered a form of reality warping the closest we have to that in this rp is Kazuma's ability to 'rip open' portals though this is simply just a 'get to place quick' form of movement and I don't wish to make a carbon copy of the shadow dude from the canon.

I'm going to ask that you pick another power please. @Dark Light

@vancexentan what say you to a diablo 3 archon style quirk. Pure energy, shrinks with use.

@ZelosseThat sounds a bit too much like Captain Atom. More over according to the game guide for Diablo that includes stuff like combustion, and teleport which are two individual quirk abilities in their own right.

@vancexentan was using it as an example for appearance, not necessarily how it will be used as a quirk.

If you just want to do energy based blasts I'll consider it but it would need a finite source to draw on, and a limited blast zone this isn't DBZ after all.

@vancexentan that was what i meant by shrink. His body is the finite source, his supply defined by his size. Blast radius would depend on the amount if himself put into a blast.

@Zelosse So If I'm understanding this right his body shrinks when he uses this energy? So if he uses too much energy he just shrinks into nothing? I'm not going to lie I'm much more lenient to simple powers. Cryomancy, pyromancy, super strength, etc I'm trying to hear you out I'm just not comfortable with the more abstract stuff.
