Appearance: While sporting a light brown scruff beard, Cole stands at 5'11 with a light brown buzz cut, pale blue eyes which seem to pierce the soul of whatever he looks at, lean and toned physique, and a tattoo of a crow rests on his left arm to represent his pride in his work, and to remember all those he has killed.

Biography: Cole was born in Louisiana and raised just outside of New Orleans. His father died a few months after he was born while serving in the military on a classified operation so he never knew what happened to him. However Cole still felt pride when his father came up in conversation and wanted to follow in his father's footsteps. He never imagined how he'd do that, but when his mother took him to France while she was a diplomat over there when he was 17 his friend's dad somewhat took Cole under his wing and taught him a few tricks from his own military days. After further discussion and loving the new place he lived in Cole joined the French Foreign Legion. With that came a new identity and the last name Duponte.

With several successful missions under his belt and clearly becoming a up and coming star in the spec ops world Cole was offered a job with XCOM to which he gladly excepted. He is part of the European branch and proudly serves his country and planet by whatever means are at his disposal.

Personality: While trying to be a honorable man, Cole struggles to stay honorable when it comes to dealing with the aliens. Unlike with other countries fighting, this is a whole different matter that seems so much more important. So when it comes to the aliens honor goes out the window. While in Cole's eyes honor has to do with two wits having it out, when it comes to the aliens he just views them as close to animals, or maybe even rodents. Pests that should be exterminated and kept off the world. If they were friendly and trying to make an alliance that would be one thing, but from what he understands all the aliens want is to take the world for themselves.

In his personal life he loves to have fun, make crude jokes, drink, and train. While he wants to get married at some point, he knows that his work comes first because without doing what he does there is no future for a family he builds. It is that dream of his baby girl or boy playing in the back yard while he's sitting in a chair with a smile on his face that keeps Cole going each day in this struggle.

Other: Has a tendency to be a little overly violent or excessive with things.

Strengths: Cole is excellent with the combat knife and his quick reactions to thigns that happens around him. Once he was given a sword he was able to become efficient with that as well along with close quarters combat.

Weaknesses: Cole's biggest weakness is how much he values his friends. It is the constant struggle for him seeing his closest friends die. He gets a huge adrenaline rush when it happens and he was trained to take advantage of that, but after that initial rush or the battle is over Cole struggles heavily with getting over the loss.
