Powers:
Superhuman elasticity/plasticity, malleability: Jack can make his body become a rubber-like substance and can stretch all parts of it to insanely long lengths. This can range from limbs to fingers, feet and neck. This ability also allows him to squeeze through extremely tiny spaces such as cracks in walls and floors. He can also expand his body like a balloon for the purpose of catching falling people or absorbing hits from larger opponents. This power grants him very strong resistance to bludgeoning and piercing damage.

In combat Jack's main method for battle is restraining his opponents by wrapping around them like a snake and constricting them. He can also throw elongated punches and kicks to hit foes from a distance. Jack can also perform some shape-changing, but at his current level of skill with his powers he can only take a few shapes such as cube or tree.

Weaknesses: he is very weak to heat and cold attacks.
Skills/abilities: He is very skilled in the field of chemistry and engineering. He likes to be more hands on than sitting in a study room reading a book.

Bio: Jack was born to a working class family in the Midwestern city of Buckeye Ohio. His dad worked in a printing factory, which wasn't the greatest job, but it kept food on the table and paid the bills. Though take your kid to workday was rather boring for Jack. His early childhood years were a little lonely since he had trouble socializing with other kids thanks to have anxiety.

While he was in elementary school Jack was a bit of an outcast and only had one friend who was a boy named Charlie. The two hanged out, but Charlie was more of the studying hard type while Jack was the curious and experimental kind of boy who liked to test theories of his.

Things got a little better when he went to high school and he had fixed most of his anxiety problems and found it easier to socialize. One of his tricks was being a bit of a joker, which for him was good at defusing anxiety building up inside him. It was also in high school where developed his skill in chemistry and engineering.

However it was high school where his life would change permanently. About three months into his freshmen year at George Washington High, Jack's metahuman powers activated and he discovered that he had the power to stretch and bend his body like it was rubber.

at first he used his new found gifts for practical jokes and pranks, but eventually he realized that he could use these powers for good and he created a costume and took on the name Polymer. He now is trying to fight crime with his powers all the while hoping to keep it a secret from his parents.

Eventually his dad got a job in Los Angeles and he transferred to a school in their new home. It some time getting use to and he missed his old friends and schoolmates, but he would manage. Also LA meant that he would get a chance to meet other heroes like himself and maybe learn some things about fighting crime.

Powers:
Tough Skin: Knight's skin itself is akin to incredibly durable armor. It is impenetrable by normal weaponry, such as bullets. This is not to say that Knight does not feel the impact of the blows, as he still has pain receptors. Bullets hurt, even if they don't penetrate the skin.

Weaknesses:
While his skin is thick, Knight is still prone to mental attacks and can suffer internal injuries. If you throw Knight around too much, his organs can rupture and cause serious damage. Knight's skin can be severely softened by things such as acid, which make him just as vulnerable as anyone else.

Skills/abilities:
Ninjutsu: Knight has been training for much of his life in the arts of ninjutsu. He has achieved high proficiency in Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, Kusarigamajutsu, Shurikenjutsu, Kayakujutsu, Hensōjutsu, Shinobi-iri, and Intonjutsu. His incomplete training has left him somewhat unbalanced. His methods of fighting are somewhat bastardized and fueled by anger, leaving him inferior to most trained in the art.

Bio:

It was natural in the mind of a young James that his "Uncle" Riku would adopt him after his parents were killed in a horrific car accident. The young boy had been in the back of the family's minivan when an oncoming semi ran a red light. It was a miracle the boy had survived, one that surprised everyone. And so James was raised from the age of 4 by Riku as his own son. While James believed that Riku had taken him in out of a love for his father, as the two were close friends since college, it became clear by the age of 16 that Riku had adopted the child to prevent the boy from learning the truth.

Riku was a member of the League of Assassins who inevitably went on to form a small criminal empire in San Francisco. He single-handedly trained members of his organizations in the art of Ninjutsu, creating what most would describe as "an army of ninjas." Among them was James, one of the most promising students. His flaw, however, lied in his immense anger and frustration which would cloud his judgement in life and in combat. Meditation wasn't particularly helpful in controlling the anger, leaving Riku to write him off as mostly a lost cause. He continued to train the boy to deter him from digging into his parent's death.

James wasn't much of a detective, but he was one of the best infiltrators Riku had ever taught. During a brief interaction with Riku, the boy's suspicions were aroused. James, in his sleuthing, managed to uncover a secret vault within Riku's office in their home. Inside, James found files on his father's CADMUS research, including a serum labelled "Knight 431." Not being very bright, the curious son injested the serum given the lab notes claimed it was an "enhancement." The pain afterwards was excruciating, and James was only barely able to seal up the vault and get to his room before his adoptive father returned home.

The next day, it became clear what Riku's true colors were. James was abducted on his way to the local convenience store (he wasn't a fan of going to school) by Riku's men in broad daylight. When he awoke, the mentor attempted to kill his pupil... but the sword shattered as it cleaved towards his neck. By the time Riku had managed to understand what had just happened, James had been free from his binds and managed to escape.

Since the incident, James has been on the run. It has been about a year now that the teenager has been on the run. He's managed to gather some of the finest gear that had been gifted him over the years before running away. While it would be best to keep a low profile, James has never been one to stand aside and let innocent people get hurt. He does what he can to help out those in need, and is rather distrusting of organized crime and government after learning of the trail of corruption that lied behind his adoptive father's criminal enterprise. He was the kind of person who could become vital to discovering what was going on in a place like La Vida, which led to a rather interesting invitation that James couldn't possible turn down.

Powers:

Snake Physiology: Sam shares some physical characeristics of snakes, such as scales, sharp fangs and colder blood. He can

use his tongue to smell/taste scent particles in the air, allowing him to keep track of living beings even in pitch

blackness. Sam can twist and contort his body to fit into spaces that most people cannot go and is very flexible like it's

namesake. Sam can solidify scales on his skin which help to maintain internal tempreture equlibrium and offer some

protection against the elements and slight protection from physical attacks. His body can hold water and food much longer

than most during the summer and has excellent heat protection, though due to his colder blood he is extremely vulnerable

during the winter and can die quicker than others without heavy protection from the cold. Sam otherwise has every physical sense and power commonly found in most ophidian species.

Enhanced Reflexes: Sam can react far faster than most human beings and can dodge high speed projectiles like throwing knives, arrows and baseballs, though even he has a hard time dodging bullets.

Enhanced Strength: Sam is marginally stronger than a human at peak physical addition.

Tension Control: Sam can store tension into his body and release it explosively when it is time to strike. This greatly

increases the penetration power of his physical attacks beyond what would normally be possible and can grant him a

tremendous boost in speed and leaping for charges and escapes, though the storing and releasing of this energy drains

Sam's energy quickly, thus he has to be careful not to use it too much least he face tuckering himself out.

Camouflage: His skin and scales can change colors to match his environment, making him completely invisible to the naked

eye, though thermal sensors and creatures with strong smell receptors can still detect him.

Venom Fangs: Sam possess two sharp canines on his upper jaw which he can use to pierce through flesh with ease. Sam can

generate within him a powerful neurotoxin which he can expel out of him through his fangs. Once in the bloodstream, the

venom targets the nervous system, which can cause paralysis. The potency and effects of the toxin can be altered by Sam depending on the contents and chemicals in his body at the time. The venom can be tampered by Sam to be lethal or non-lethal.

Alien beings or creatures with unusually high constituition can resist it, though the average human being will be

paralyzed in a matter of seconds by even a small amount. Sam's venom can be turned into a powerful painkiller by a skilled chemist. Sam is

immune to his own venom, though he can still be mildly affected by the painkiller part.



Strong Immune System: Sam is immune to most forms of snake venom and is highly resistant to most other forms of venoms and

toxins in comparison to the average human being.

Weaknesses:

Cold-Blooded: Sam's blood is significantly colder than most mammals and as such can be in very serious danger should he be

exposed in a cold area or hit with cold attacks. He gets frostbitten quicker and cannot live for long in such envirements

without serious protection.

Easily Fatigued: While Sam is better at storing energy for longer periods of time than most, due to a lack of warmth in

his blood any prolonged physical activity like running for extended periods or fighting can tire him out much faster than

others.

Personality Weakness: Sam has tremendous confidence in his intuition and his ideals, but it can sometimes blind him to

other people's concerns.


Skills:

Esoteric Knowledge: Samuel has spent a large portion of his life studying philosophy, astrology, mythology, psycology and

other abstract concepts like Justice with zeal, thus he has a promising potential for a scholar.

Mixed-Martial Arts Training: While only a few months worth of training in preparation for becoming an active hero, he does

know some of the basics regarding martial arts and self defense. His fighting style prioritizes striking vital areas such

as the eyes, neck and groin areas, placing emphasis on precision and speed over brute strength alone. Sam prefers to fight

only as a last resort, but should he need to he prefers to end it as quickly as possible.

Knife Proficiency: Has an uncanny skill for wielding knives and small blades.

Bio:
Samuel Sarot lived on the outskirts of San Diego, close enough to see the glitz and glamour (however much there

was)

of the city though still dwelled in the rustic neibhorhoods. Unlike very many metas who were gifted or sometimes cursed

with their powers in the middle of their lives, Samuel was born from the start with his. While his parents were thankfully

the understanding and nurturing kind, this drew ire from the people around him growing up, as well as from other metas who

thought he did not "earn" his powers as they were just gifted to him. While his parents were thankfully the understanding

sort, this often left young Sam alone and isolated throughout much of his life.

Despite the cold distances these experiences have caused within Samuel, he still felt within him a strange form of

fascination and curiosity with humans. He thought perhaps if he studied humanity, he can learn to become more human

himself. He studied his subjects with fervor, and soon fell in love with stories of knights, loyalty, and justice. This

drew from the detphs of his soul a burning desire for justice in a world he felt needed more of. In preparation for

becoming a hero to bring justice to the world, he spent some training in the martial and went on a spirit journey with a

shaman into the desert. After days of intention meditation, Samuel knew he was ready to rejoin the world and bring hope to

the hopeless.

Samuel admitatly has a hard time engaging socially and can be reclusive. Though he does not have many friends, he

is very

loyal to the few he does call friend. He has a respect for life and freedom, and has great disdain for those who would

take either away from another.

Other:

Sam always carries a copy of Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" on him at all times.

Note: Sam heard that there a series of problems that especially plagues La Vida and heard tales of metas emerging from the shadows and making a difference.
