((Introductions))

Beach
Arin was watching the waves as usual while waiting on his girlfriend. Sometimes he would take an opportunity to meet someone new as well if that were to happen.

House - Park
Price made sure to bring his guitar this time. He went to his usual spot in the park and sat down on the bench. Holding his guitar, he began to think of what song to play.

Bookstore
Tyler was busy restocking the shelves as the shop would open soon and he needed to make sure everything was in order before any customers arrived.

City
Alexander was walking along the sidewalk. He had finally figured out what he was or at least had an idea, but he didn't like the possibilty of the shark killing people or was it eating them? He couldn't tell. Ever since he found this out, he would run off any time he felt his shark side get hungry. As for now, he just kept walking.

Alleyway in the City - Bookstore
Ky sighed as nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary yet. The only crimes he saw were the common ones he knew the police could handle. He was hoping for something more interesting. For now, he decided to visit the bookstore and made his way towards it.

Park
Juno arrived at the park as he knew his friend would be there. He soon found him on a bench playing his guitar as usual. He walked up and sat next to him. Hey, Price. He said to him in telepathy.

Location - Ursula's Brew, a coffee shop in town.

As was typical of Ursula's Brew. it was already flooded with people whose daily routine mirrored millions of other souls: begrudgingly get out of bed, put on the clothes they loathe to wear, and do everything in their power to acquire some of that liquid fuel. Specifically, coffee. And if it came with good bagels or other eat-as-you-go foods, that was all the better.

Luckily for them, Ursula's shop catered to all of these desires. Due to her condition, sleep was unnecessary for her, which could be seen as ironic considering the business model she decided to pursue. It helped her get hundreds upon hundreds of bagels in different varieties baked, breakfast wraps prepped, and coffee brewed every second of every day. Her shop only closed when she decided to leave, but otherwise, it was always open. If she could find more reliable employees she would keep it open all of the time, but finding a dedicated employee in the food industry... That was a laughable concept.

Though she didn't need to, Ursula let out a yawn as she slid a coffee and a bagel across the counter to a tired looking woman with horns jutting out from beneath her hair. Ursula wasn't sure how or why, but it seemed like more and more Inhumans, like herself, were showing up all around town. They were becoming such a commonplace occurence that most Regulars, normal humans, were beginning to shrug off the oddities.

The morning was so mundane that it became a fuzzy blur in her mind as she automatically served each customer in queue. Nobody had interesting news, other than more Inhumans arriving in town. She was hoping for scandals or murders, or even a good fisticuffs at the very least, but nobody seemed willing to oblige a bored Lich.

A lull came in the customers, and where there were thirty to forty customers in her shop just moments ago, now there were one or two. They sat at tables and looked at their phones or at the holo-papers while they sipped on their coffee and carelessly ate their bagels, scattering crumbs all over the tables and floor.

β€œCan't beat 'em, join 'em.” Ursula mumbled and laid back in the air with one leg folded over the other. Her phone rested on her chest as she scrolled through news and media, often times taking her to memes or funny videos that she chuckled at.

Damien- Ursula's Brew

@LazerSyrup

"You're tired, Damien." A soft voice said.

The young man sighed as he rubbed his eyes underneath his glasses. "Really, Morg? I couldn't tell..." Damien yawned as he stretched out his arms, walking down the street. This is what he gets when he chases demons all night. If anyone was looking at him, they would think he's having a very one-sided conversation with himself, but that couldn't be any further from the truth. Damien's weapons almost never needed to rest, it got kind of annoying. The only quiet one was Bael really.

"Hey, Kid. We can't fight when you're tired, genius."

Damien sighed and rubbed his temple. "Yes, Ravana. Thank you." He said rather bluntly. "Jesus Christ..." He muttered under his breath.

"We heard that."

"Oh my god!" He shouted out loud, burying his face into his hands. He looked around to see people staring at him. He tutted and put his hands in his pockets. However, as he looked around, he spotted a particular shop. "Ursula's Brew", huh? Yeah, coffee sounds good. Damien walked over to the door and put his sunglasses into his jacket pocket before walking in. Seemed pretty quiet for the most part. He walked over to the counter and looked at the menu. Damien looked at the spectral server. "She's cute." Onna piped up in her chirpy tone. Onna seemed to be the youngest of the five weapons, judging by voice. Damien winced at her words and averted his gaze back to the menu.

Alekis

Location - Park

It had been a rather slow morning for Alekis. He had woken up grabbed a cup of coffee from his the local coffee shop, Ursula's Brew, and went to pick up the dogs he was going to talk that day. Today it was his turn to take the three large pit bulls from a nice old woman that lived in the wealthier part of the city. The oldest one, a red nose pitbull, was named Cayan, the middle one was a blue-eyed pit bull named Star, and the smallest was a white and black pit named Spots. All three of them walked in front of Alekis as they walked down the path of the park with Cayan leading the pack. Alekis had gotten this job a while back, Marcus had convinced him of this job in particular because he knew Alekis loved animals and he needed to go out more. At least he was enjoying meeting all kinds of dogs and walking the three pits were his favorite days.

"We'll take a break in a bit," Alekis told the three dogs that just glanced back at him with their tounges hanging out before continuing to look around the park. Spots, the youngest of the three, picked up a particular smell and began to tug Alekis and the other two towards the direction of the scent. Within a few seconds, the other two dogs picked up the scent and began to drag Alekis towards two men sitting on a bench.

Marcus

Location - City Streets (Photographing the city)

Marcus held the camera between his hands. Click. A perfect shot of the busy city streets during rush hour. Every morning Marcus took a walk around the city to snap shots of the busy life here. He liked capturing people go on about their lives and making their way to their jobs. He was glad that he didn't have to do that. The wealth of his parents guaranteed him an easy going life, of course, he wouldn't leech on their money too much. He had been making money and a name for himself as he had traveled the world years before moving to the city. His photographs were well known in the Photography community, a few winning awards. Most of them were of natures or documenting life in other places in the world.

Now, Marcus was more interested in photographing ordinary people in the city. He had landed a salary job shooting concerts or sports events for the local news station. Today was his free day, so he wanted to photograph the city's people and their daily routine. Something he didn't do too often.

Aurora

Location - Bookstore

Aurora's white cane bumped into the bookstore's door. She walked closer with her hand extended before her until she was able to push the door open. Aurora wasn't completely blind, her left eye was still able to make out shapes, colors, and light, but it was still difficult for her to walk around. Hence the white cane she used to get around. Besides, it gave her an excuse to bump into people she didn't like.

Aurora made her way into the store and scanned the small shop for a clerk or someone that would help her find what she was looking for since she couldn't really read the book titles. She needed new braille books that would keep her busy and a book for Alekis. His birthday was coming up, and he wouldn't stop hinting that he wanted a new spellbook or a leather journal to write all the new spells he was learning. She just hoped this place sold either of those things.

"Uh, excuse me?" She called out when she didn't see a human shape by the checkout counter by the door.

Price finally came up with a song and he was about to play it before seeing a man from behind being dragged towards him and his friend. If this guy was human, he'd had to hope he wouldn't get too close. As he got a closer look without actually getting up, his suspicion was confirmed.

Juno followed Price's gaze and also the same man being dragged towards them.

@Rodiak
Tyler stopped what he was doing as he heard customer come in and walked over. "Yes, how can I help you?" He said with a warm smile.

Alekis

"Stop stop stop!" Alekis pleaded the pits to stop dragging him across the field as they came closer to the two men sitting in the park bench. "Oh, my-" And then the dogs stopped right in front of the smaller men and began to sniff him, their tails wagging as Alekis tried to pull them back with their leashes.

"I am so sorry! It looks like these dogs are so much stronger than me- Oh Spots don't lick the man!" Alekis leaned down to pull back the black and white pit bull. "Again, I'm so sorry." He laughed nervously as he tried to pull them back again. This time Cayan began to sniff the man with the black hair, her tail wagging and hitting the smaller man on the leg with it. "Oh, you three are in so much trouble." Alekis scolded the dogs.

Aurora

"Hello." Aurora turned her head towards the voice. She scanned the shape of the man before clearing her throat. "I'm looking for braille books. Anything you have would be good." There weren't many sold in bookstore and most of them had to be ordered online, and Marcus was the one who had to do that for her. This time, she wanted to buy her own and not have his brother worry about her after all this was a rare occurrence for her. Not so often Marcus let her wonder the city by herself.

"I'm also looking for journals, preferably with a leather cover," Aurora said, her monotone voice filling the bookstore.

Ayaka went to the beach. She figured her boyfriend would be there. He usually chose there to wait for her after all. It didn't take her long to find him. She walked over to Arin as soon as she saw him.

Arin turned around and saw his girlfriend walking towards him. As usual, he greeted her. "Hey, Ayaka."

@Rodiak
Juno didn't seem to mind being sniffed by the three dogs. It's alright. He thought to him. He gave an amused smile as one hit him on the leg with her tail.

Price didn't mind the dogs too much as they wouldn't trigger his demon form. He seemed to be looking at the human instead though he somehow felt he was being creepy. "It's fine."

@Rodiak
"Right this way, follow me." Tyler hopefully lead her to the aisle where the braille books and journals were.

Natalie - Bookstore

Nozunali let out a deep sigh as she finished her regular daily exercises. She may have a frail body, but that was no reason not to stay as fit as she could, and her telekinetic prowess had to be maintained as well. With that out of the way, she began her usual research on the humans' progress of interstellar and faster-than-light travel. They were unfortunately rather primitive compared to her people, but that couldn't really be helped. They had only discovered some poor raw materials to work with, such as iron and coal, and it was unclear whether there would be anything of greater value on Earth. Such was the life of living on a wet rock of a planet.

Her efforts remaining fruitless as usual, Nozunali dressed herself up in a simple black-and-blue dress and set off for her usual bookstore. Perhaps there would be some new masterpieces to discover in there. If not, then it was at least a good idea to meet up with some of the humans wandering about. Humans proved to be quite the diverse species, and she found it interesting to hear what they had to say.

Entering the bookstore, she found it was still getting stocked up. A quick look-around revealed that the books she was looking for were not filled in yet. It seemed like she had arrived earlier than expected. Well, that was fine, she could wait. As she did, she spotted a man walking towards her. She greeted him with a smile and wave. "Hello there," she said to Ky.

Cayan barked at the one with black hair and jumped up, her paws right on his knees. "Cayan!" Alekis quickly leaned down to pull her back and put her back down on the floor. Oh, this was so embarrassing. He should have been a little more resistance when the pits had begun to drag him towards the two men. "Okay, stop it guys. Cayan don't just again!" The dog didn't listen, and she jumped on the man again. This time Alekis wrapped his arms around the dog and pulled her back, keeping her in his arms. She was heavy, really heavy, but he held on to her as he took a few steps back from the bench. "I am so so sorry!" The man's jeans had gotten dirty from Cayan's paws.

Aurora

"Ah yes, follow you." Aurora cleared her throat and began to hit her white cane against the bookcases so she wouldn't bump into them. She could see some of the shapes of the bookcases and a few colors of the spines of the books that filled the shelves. She heard when the man stopped, but she kept walking until her white came hit him on the feet. She didn't apologize; she just turned her face towards the shelves. "Can you red me a few titles? Or do you have anything historical in braille?"

Location – Ursula's Brew

@GingerBoi123

Ursula let out a bleat of laughter, high pitched and giggly, as she squirmed around mid-air, hugging her phone to her chest. Through the tears of laughter, she noticed a new customer from the corner of her eye. She slipped her phone into her back pocket and twirled around to give her newest customer her attention.

For a moment, Ursula wasn't sure what she was seeing. The man before her was certainly something to look at – and tall, which Ursula inwardly disliked just for the fact that it made it harder to look him in the eye – but that wasn't the mere sum of the man in front of her. Chains made out of metal and flesh faintly appeared around him and disappeared into nothingness just a foot or so away from his body. Where the chains would have led there seemed to be faint auras of void, as if reality ceased to exist in the way that Ursula understood it.

Ursula blinked and wiped the tears from her eyes, but those things still lingered all around him. He was definitely an Inhuman, but she hadn't seen something like this before. Ursula grinned at him devilishly, her mind was already made up: He looked like he could be the start of something exciting, and she was going to have some fun.

β€œHey there, handsome. You're lookin' like you could use a mug of dark, hot, and with enough kick to get you energized. What'll you have? The β€œScreamin' Bean” is one of my personal favorites.” She looked up at the menu. β€œThe β€œFlaming Cadaver” or the β€œGrumbling Ghoul” are also good choices. The Cadaver is rather spicy, though. And on fire.”

Damien- Ursula's Brew

@LazerSyrup

Damien suddenly snapped to attention, listening to the small ghost lady in front of him. As much as romance and stuff like that didn't interest him that much, Onna wasn't exactly wrong. She was kind of cute. Damien smiled as she explained some of the menu items. "Hehe, I'll go with your recommendation. A "Screamin' Bean, please." He requested. As much as Ursula was trying to work out what Damien was, or rather his companions, Damien was trying to work her out too.

She could fly, or at least float, and her visible aura of purple and blue made it very apparent that she wasn't human. Undead, maybe? Some sort of ghost. "You guys got a clue?" He whispered, asking his weapons. The five weapons had a moment to think about what this woman could be. "Is she a Ghost?" Yuki suggested. "Depends. There are multiple kinds of ghosts and spirits." Ravana explained to Damien and the others. Rav was clearly the leader of the five, but he was also the most battle-hungry.

Damien could work it out later. If she was undead, maybe she's been to Hell too? That would be an interesting conversation. Most other demons Damien came across were trying to destroy shit or enslave people. It seemed every weapon conveyed a certain emotion or personality type primarily, and none of them seemed capable of dominating the other. Ravana was probably most akin to Damien, especially when it came to fighting. In fact, only when it came to fighting really. Morgana seemed to be the motherly type of the group, whereas Yuki and Onna were the impetuous twins of the group, Onna being the more... innocent of the two. If Bael was a person, he would probably the strong, silent type. Speaking of which, he still didn't say a word.

Arin looked at her. "I'm alright and what about you?" He said.

@Scarifar
Ky finally arrived at the bookstore and went inside. As he began to look around, he almost didn't notice he had walked towards someone until she spoke. "Hello." He replied as he turned around to face her.

@Rodiak
Price almost wanted to laugh at the scene that played before him, but held back. "Again, it's alright. I'm not worried about it."

Juno just shook his head at the dogs in amusement. He wanted to go into cat form, but wasn't sure if he should do that in front of the dogs.

@Rodiak
Tyler read a few titles to her before hearing her other question. "Hmm, let's see." He browsed the bookshelves until he came across one. He took it out and handed it to her. "Could this be what you're looking for?" It took for her cane to him in the feet to realize she was possibly blind so he put the book he was holding closer to her.

Mikkish always found great amusement fucking around in the affairs of humans and humanoid creatures (usually vampires and mutants) but he HATED when he wound up in a kitchen sink of a place. Here there was all kinds of sentient life, from goblins to dragons. It was just...overkill to him.

Sure, he could torture them just as well, but he felt it would be less fun. Oh well, soon he would meet up with John and then the real fun could start. Before he hatched some evil plan to ruin this universe and escape to another one, however, he would need some caffeine.

He came to a coffee shop, Ursula's Brew. Well at least he could find a coffee shop that wasn't Starbucks.

He opened the door to find it wasn't too busy, but not dead. He walked up behind the man standing in line, and while Mikkish was used to human cities, the ghost woman was no shock to him at all. He had seen way to much at this point, and the days when a ghostly barista would shock him were almost forgotten. He wanted the most caffeinated thing they had, but decided to scan the menu first.

"At least let me buy you guys something for causing you so much trouble!" Alekis said almost falling over when Spots tugged the leash to try to climb in to the smaller man's lap. Although the pit was a puppy of three months he was almost as big as Cayan. "I'm Alekis by the way," He said as he pulled all three dogs back. "Would a coffee be okay? I don't want to leave you two after these dogs pretty much stopped all over you."

"Look." Aurora chuckled and rolled her eyes. "I can't exactly look." She felt the book move closer to her and she took the book. Her finger tips graced over the braille title. "Alexandria's Library," she read out loud before nodding her head. "This will do. As for the journals?" She knew she sounded rude, and she didn't care much, but she was still grateful that the man was helping her but what she needed. She just didn't know how to show that. She could always say thank you? Would that be enough?
