History:
For as long as he could remember, Jaakuna has always felt like something was missing in his life. He could never place his finger on it. Growing up most of his life without a male figure in his life might’ve been the cause of that. Or maybe he was always getting into fights and the brain damage from those brawls contributed to the gap of his life. Well, at least that was what he told himself at night when he would lay his head to sleep. The truth of the matter was that much like how Jaakuna had lived his life from the moment he could throw a punch to when his powers developed, handled everything a fight at a time. No use sweating over the big stuff, right?
And so he did. Year after year, failed attempt to pass the school year after failed attempt, Jaakuna simply lived for the moment. He had fun when he could. He fought people who thought they were big and bad, only to realize that they couldn't stand toe to toe with The Sundance Kid. Seriously, it was as if something about Jaakuna was above human - well, that's what people said. They saw him as some kind of fighting god. There still wasn't anyone since the Yusuke Yuremeshi days who fought as well as Jaakuna did. Though, his overall fighting style has been described as a double-edged sword. While great in its base, something about it works but it put Jaakuna in a lot of compromising positions.
Though his studies suffered from his street fighting experiences, Jaakuna has never failed a single grade. And he’s so light-hearted about it all. The way he saw it was if he wasn’t expelled or didn’t fail a grade, then who cares if you only get through the final exams by the skin of your teeth? Life was too short in his eyes. And it wasn’t like his mother was setting an example to do exceptionally well in school. As the kids said a decade ago: yolo! You only live once, so make it count. But all of that changed when he came into contact with...something he’d never experienced.
One day while Jaakuna was fighting the local neighborhood punks who thought they could take him in a 1-on-5, he was surprised that one of them happened to be stronger than he remembered they were. When he really gave it his all, this particular person floored Jaakuna and sent him flying in the opposite direction for about a yard or so. That nearly killed Jaakuna, but then he really was in trouble when the same boy was attempting to finish the job. Never one to give up, Jaakuna met it with the same never-say-die attitude he always had. This time, however, wouldn’t go as fights usually did for him.
Then, as everything went black for a single moment, Jaakuna opened his eyes to see the boy was flat on his back. Unconscious. Only when he looked, he noticed something was off. Completely off, actually. First off, Jaakuna was floating about ten feet above the ground. He saw his house and the other houses in his neighborhood. This took him by surprise and had Jaakuna panicing, which was something that he rarely did. It was so out of character, but one could probably understand why he was so shocked because he was 10 feet in the fucking air. You try remaining calm in that kind of situation.
While Jaakuna was still in a state of shock, he had time to adjust to it by letting the days pass him by, though his mind often wandered to that day. What happened? What was it that he felt? Ever since that day, Jaakuna felt like this was something he just had to find out more. But as he would find out, since that day, he’s been having these recurring dreams. Some of them were of him fighting some weird creatures, though he looked...different. His entire body was, as he assumed, pure energy. The stars and sun and moon all radiated around him and flowed from his body and the air around him.
Days soon turned to weeks as the dreams were more frequent than they had ever been. But that wasn’t the only thing. Jaakuna had been seeing things that weren’t there before. Creatures that floated, that had tiny bodies and big horns. And then, it came to the point when Jaakuna was growing annoyed because he didn’t know what the hell was happening to him.
All of it just really womps big time.

Power and Techniques |
- Celestial Spirit Stars - Through the manipulation of his spirit energy, Jaakuna can create 4 shiny, spiritual stars that not only have high spirutual properties, but when used offensively, they can create a high, concussive force. When used one by one, the stars have a high accuracy but have a low strength when they hit their target. Likewise when Jaakuna uses them toegether in a one-hit-go, the accuracy is low but the overall power is 4-times what each individual star can produce. They move at an average speed for the kind of ability that it is.
- Celestial Spirit Stars: Barrage - One could look at this one as the multiple layered version of Celestial Spirit Stars. Through multiple uses and manipulation of his spirit energy, Jaakuna was able to create a technique that multiplies the original amount of four stars into twelve and sends them all flying in a barrage-styled attack, covering a range of ten feet horizontally and vertically. The only difference is that in this version, they cannot be combined like with Celestial Spirit Stars. This is meant to be a multi-foe technique. As a result, it is virtually useless in one-on-one fights. Additionally, the stars are not homing devices. There is zero control from the moment Jaakuna launches them. When they miss, that’s it.
- Celestial Spirit Stars: Dance - Taking into account Jaakuna’s erratic fighting style which includes a lot of acrobatics, the expansion of his Celestial SPirit Star power represents itself through the form of stars that attach themselves to his arms and legs. They only launch when he makes a certain dance-like move. This includes and is limited to: corkscrew, jerking the legs and arms, kicking/punching the air, and punching the ground.
- The Corkscrew produces an array of small stars that look as if they are one and create a sound like a whispering wind. Their power is low and the accuracy is high.
- When he jerks his legs/arms in a any direction, a wave of stars launch forward but it is a very linear path and is easily avoidable. It also moves slower then any technique that Jaakuna is capable of.
- When he punches or kicks the ground, Jaakuna’s spirit energy is sent through it and creates a slight fissure that results in a small, yet noticable, golden blast of stars from the ground. This is contained to a very linear path of only five feet in front of him.
- Celestial Spirit Stars: Aura - A powerful technique in which Jaakuna harnesses his spirit energy to such a degree that instead of creating construct of spirit energy and using them offensively as projectiles, he takes the same properties to fortify his natural capabiltieis with a thinly-layered, easily disrupted aura colored gold (not to be confused with sacred energy). Unlike Sacred Energy, this does not give Jaakuna extraordinary abilities or give him overwhelming strength. It is taking the same amount of energy that it would take him to create stars but instead giving him the same power those very stars would possess. In doing so, he is enabled a 10% boost in his speed, strength, and defense. Though, due to the early stages it obviously is in, the amount of time that it remains active until it is turned off is less than 4 minutes of real time (battle or not). It does not give him the power of flight but he can run faster. His spiritual capabilities (spirit energy output, spiritual awareness, etc) are not effected. They remain as they were before the aura’s activation. Exceeding the time limit will actually have inverse effects on Jaakuna. Instead of giving him a boost, it will actually take away from his base attributes.
