Because flight in any combat setting where it is not the norm gives allies a large advantage especially if wind currents come into play.

Now hear me out. In the show proper, when two members of blue rose or w/e die they suffered from loss of level. The same happened to zaryusu and all the others. Similar effects happen later to a colisseum champion, a big troll of some kind.

It is also a rarity in itself to have the spell at all, as its mid tier magic. I fancy myself something of an experienced player with a character that should fit any requirements as a holy being (Him being a divine being and all) so I'm merely asking, if not true ressurection or the one needed for shalltear which required the body to be remade entirely (thus the gold cost), what skill woulf you feel comfortable with giving a player that doesn't breach your rule.

As I mentioned, would a stasis ability that prevents death/actions be an alternative? Obviously with certain requirements to use the skill so as to not abuse its invincibility status mid fight.

The level loss was a result of the thing being an mmo. Now that it isn't the function likely has stopped working just like the message system outside of communication scrolls. The only way I would allow straight up revival if it was a part of an elder litch, or necromancy sort of build that cut the targets' abilities, or prevented them from making full use of them in some form. Shaltear's Resurrection cost as much as it did not just because her body was remade but also because she was a level 100 character with a ton of abilities. I would assume if you resurrected say your charater's pet wolf it wouldn't cost as much. But I am removing the mechanic as it leaves the roleplay feeling cheap as it gives us a dragon ball style of nulling death as a concept. A statis ability would, assuming it prevented time, or the effected area from dying out after a wound it would leave the target in a state of paralysis unable to do anything until the spell is undone.

@ZelosseAssuming you're not joking about this you can still fly as its a part of your character. Granting flight to Lord Grey would just mean tactically dropping a tank paladin on top of the enemy where he could technically just tactically nuke the enemy with his holy smite ability if they had no outs. Your character can be physically taken out of the sky if his wings are hit where it would take strong magic to do otherwise.

If it was just one ally, would that be acceptable? If not I'll remove it entirely as its not my most coveted skill.

@vancexentan fair and true on the resurrection so I'll concede to the logic of it all. Can't tell if that was a yes or no on the stasis ability though. I'll write up a skill and post it when I got time, for you to decide on when all the requirements and such are shown.

@Zelosse I'll consider it based on how you intend to use it. Statis can be used as a healing method as a combative method it may lead to more shenanigans.

@vancexentan nay friend. It would have specific health conditions that need to be met, with only a single target recipient of the spell. Likely the char would need to be fatally injured or below a 5% max hp threshold. Prevents further damage dealt/receiced and prevent any actions until healed up to a certain %, lets say 25%?
Otherwise I could just do a stasis/desoerate prayer combo and have them leap back into the fight.

Sounds good enough for me. I mean lezzbe honest, not like your guild is exactly going to be okay with a murderous, lecherous orc and her angel slave having a free run of the place. Plus even if you don’t have any plots, I can make up my own stories. Just something to do whenever I don’t have a spotlight on me.

@vancexentan Speaking of NPC's, I've finished editing Yeshua. Changed up the Angel form plus removed Resurrection for a more juiced up healing spell.

Also is Loss accepted as a standalone CS? I'd like to try and get both CS's approved before I start posting, since what my post will be like will differ greatly depending on if Loss as an NPC for backup or not.

@Spriggs27Dude I'm not sure if that was intentionally meant to make me mad or not but to give you a straight up answer you want me to make sheets for the followings characters all in full?

Claudius, Yuna, Dolton, Marcus, The Grand Patriarch, The Twins (yet to be introduced), and Severnus? That's eight total character sheets. That's straight up crap if you do. I'm the GM I'm already in control of the setting if you need to know something about them that is common knowledge, or someone would know I'd be happy to tell you however expecting me to go in depth for each, and everyone of them is asking a lot. I think I've already made it clear with Grey that my ability to make a character isn't in question. This isn't counting characters that I have not thought up of yet, and intend to introduce later including plot relevant characters who will show up later such as in the devil's kingdom arc which will bring with them a slew of new characters.

@Lucius Cypher I still asked you to remove divine awareness for the sake of it being problematic when it comes to plot. Other than that I believe it is fine.
