I have an idea in mind for my character.
Question: Do we have to answer everything the Bound Dragon asks? Cause I was imagining Satirra would ignore it for a bit and pretend what she's seeing isn't real.

Sojutsu Expert: Van has shown himself to be proficiently skilled in wielding his lance. Most of Van's fighting techniques rely on his lance as he becomes quite deadly when wielding one. When in battle, Van is at his peak when wielding a lance, often taking down several opponents quickly. Van can be seen utilizing fluid motions when he is wielding a spear giving his attacks the appearance of flowing water as it seems as though his attacks are endless. By slowing his breathing down to match his opponent's, Van is capable of entering a stance perfect for countering his opponent's moves by using the shaft of his spear in order to deflect attacks away from his person. When Van enter's his more offensive stance, he lowers his spear toward the ground. It is this stance that Van becomes far more deadly as he is able to attack an opponent from a far distance by removing the burden of weight on his arms and legs allowing him to jet toward an opponent at high speeds and maneuver his lance with far more precision.
Light Healing Magic: The way this variant works is simple — through physical contact, the symbol is copied and etched onto the target. This causes the symbol to react to the energy source and synchronize with it, then exciting it — which causes a sudden energy spike. The energy emitted from said spike goes outwards and gathers the energy within the atmosphere, causing it to gather to a single point and absorbed by the emitting source. This causes the user's body to go under a drastic change; their cells are invigorated and constantly renewed, thus able to engage the healing factor at an incredible rate. Minor wounds heal in seconds and major wounds take mere minutes. Though it can heal wounds and possibly remove poisons & minor ailments, it's unable to affect major diseases that have already existed within the body — especially if they were there for a longer period; this makes it no miracle technique and a proper substitute for actual medical needs.
Personality:Emanating a strong and stoic disposition, Vandesdelca is one of those people who just naturally command respect. Among his allies, he can be rather reserved. Yet in the presence of his enemies, he has a mouthful ready at any moment. While he is not straight up cocky, Van tends to lecture weaker fighters on their skills and how to improve them, even if he is about to end their lives. In battle he can be cruel and brutal, causing havoc on the tensest of battlefields with no remorse. He shows no mercy to his enemies, but desires to fight anyone who is "strong".
Van likes to keep his past a secret, evident from the fact that no one on his team knew his name. His desire to fight "strong" people is a downside of sorts, usually causing him to be reckless in some battles. Also Vandesdelca will kill anyone who deceives people for their own benefit. It's ironic, since the man has a alleged criminal background. He also has some sense of honor, even with his enemies. He does not use underhanded tactics or tricks at all; he despises liars. One teammate remarked that he is a "complicated man to deal with".
Background:
Vandesdelca's early life was one of solitude. He lived upon the only uncharted island alongside his mother Tear Des Grants. Tear was a legend upon the battlefield, a woman famed as being a demon, and she trained her in combat the best she could. After years of intense training, she revealed to Vandesdelca why she pushed him so hard; it was to prepare him for the day the Zweite Junta would come. That is when she dropped the bombshell that their family is one of the few that control the islands and she used to stand with them on the battlefield, slaughtering all who stood before them. Vandesdelca did not hate his mother for what she did but, he resolved to face his family when he was old enough. Unfortunately the Zweite Junta would find their little island and capture his mother after a tragic battle leaving Vandesdelca alone and with a damaged right eye.
Many years have passed since his mother's capture, and Van became leader of a small band of warriors who opposed the Zweite Junta. He stood as the face of the band, a monster on the battlefield due to his magical prowess with Light. Many believed him to be an immortal, nigh unkillable on the battlefield. That all came to a head when his band was betrayed and he was captured. The only survivor and bearer of an even greater sadness.

Punishment: Punishment is a family heirloom, created by his ancestors and infused with powerful Light Magic. Van uses this blade to pass his own sick form of punishment upon those he sees as monsters among men. Those pierced with this lance are are burned, their death's meant to be agonizing. This lance is about two meters long from end to end, painted a stunningly beautiful shade of black. Several sharp edges hang off from different places on the blade, acting as both guards as well as inflicting further damage upon those pierced.
Yes. She was one of the 13. Obviously she was replaced but his family is one of the many families vying for control. I decided since no one really did it to make someone who's a legend and would have these grandiose stories before everyone learns who he is as a person. Besides hype is fun.

@The Irish Tree
No worries, fam! One question, though: Where are our weapons and other belongings? Are we gonna have to pick up some temporary stuff until we get our standard armaments back?
