Name: Alta Dupont
School: Hellsing Academy
Magic: Like most in her school, aside from her father Armand, Alta channels magic through her gun; A modified FAMAS G2 designed for marksman use.As a Gunslinger, she relies on earth magic to tap into her fire arm, but the addition of wind magic gives her the option to make her shots silent, give them extra penetrative power, or detonate a soft target with a high charge of electrical energy. Classical uses of her wind magic include the ability to make herself move more quietly or faster, while her classic earth magic allows her to construct cover anywhere.
Background: As the daughter of the headmaster of hellsing academy, Alta has been afforded training by retired french operators in weapons use, and trained by armand in magic use. She's skilled and learns her lessons quickly, but she is inexperienced in the field due to her relatively young age. She is capable of projecting her power competently, but has little to nothing in the way of defense, and prefers to be some distance from the fight. She was present and fought in the siege on the Hellsing Castle, though she fought at range and thus it isn't known how many targets she destroyed. She is a mix between a french man, and another unknown person. Runes on her body give her access to strange powers, though she's very rarely seen using them.
Personality: Alta is reserved, but overall rather chipper and friendly. She's 19 years old, but for the most part her relative immaturity is masked by her thoughtful and careful demeanor, though she is still prone to making rash decisions like most people her age. Most of her personality is mimicry of her father, who she views in the light of a hero and as someone impossible to beat. Though she isn't technically correct about his invincibility, she's witnessed first hand that she effectively is. During the siege on her home, she worked out of a back tower of the castle as a sniper, and got to witness first hand the magnitude of destruction her father could bring to bear on a target. Her mother is not known to anyone except Armand, who refuses to speak on the subject, though she has some idea of who it may be, even if she wont indicate what that idea is.
Physical description: Pale and beautiful. Alta has white hair, fair skin and striking eyes that appear to be symmetrically deformed so that the pupil twice as tall as it is wide. This doesn't appear to impact her vision, in fact quite the opposite; she remains as deadly a sniper as she is an observant woman. She's fairly short, around 5 foot 3 or so. Her weight isn't discussed, but a good guesser would put her pretty close to the 100 pound mark. She's fit, but it doesn't really seem to show unfortunately. She has what someone would call a "runners body", which is to say, thin but not muscular. Her body is adorned with several runic tattoos that are imbued with magic.
