The more you know... now when I play it, I'll never be able not to notice these facts. xD

One more for you...

...In the opening scenes of the game. If you allow the game to run through its introduction video uninterrupted you will notice German Mark V Panther tanks rolling into Paris for the first time. I assume this is when the Germans first invaded Paris in 1940. The only problem with that video is the Panther was designed in 1942 and began production to be issued to front line Panzer units in 1943.

Once upon a time, I was mechanically inclined and fascinated. For no apparent reason, I have since lost all of my interest in engineering or mechanics, yet all the books sit on my shelf be them automotive to architecture. Related to this, all of my proficiency and ability in it vanished at roughly the same time. Now all of my talent in it, what does exist in void, is intuitive rather than learned.

At the last Skillet concert, I was pulled up on stage and got to play a short solo on Jen Ledger's drums!

...aaaand then I woke up.

But srly, I did get to high-five John Cooper so there's that.

Lucky bastard.

I'm so fucking ready for Halloween.

And for it to officially be autumn. I love autumn. The weather, the fact I can wear hoodies again... and the fact everything changes colors. Everything is just so.. green here.

Me too. Go ahead and tell the story. In fact, I've dodged more than a few, but I was employed as a Railroad Conductor for five years.

I demand to hear it.

Well, a week of procrastination later...

A few years ago around my birthday, my mother called me and we went to an early clean up at the city river, called the Cahaba river. I went and picked up some trash along the river but realized a lot of it had already been picked up. Across the river though, it looked dirty as hell. So I kept going until there was a steep incline and I climbed it to find a train track and more people cleaning.

The tracks also went across the river, and that was the only thing that could get me across. So I decided to take it and I started walking across it. What got me after was that each track was about half a foot apart and if I got my foot stuck in any of them I'd be dead, but at the time I thought the tracks were abandoned. Well halfway through I hear a huge BEEEEEEEEEUUUUURRRRR in the distance, and then I hear a woman screaming "hey! hey!" and I turn around to see a woman running towards me.

I then turn back to where I was GOING and I see a train turn the corner past the trees, only its not a train. Just the first section, so it's going like 60-70. Well I hurry the fuck up and then leap off of it to the rickety railing on the side, then leap off that to skid down onto a rock that overlooks the river. I thought I would have had to jump 30 feet into the 4 foot water, but luckily I didn't need to.

What was funny was, when I got back later and got into the car, P.O.D.'s "Alive" was on the radio.

I'd like to think so! Although that gianormous black hairy thing growing on his face is scary. Then again, I don't get the whole bushy beard thing with dudes. Is it some kind of rite of passage into manhood? I mean sure, if you're a barbarian...

Hales, I think you need to make a thread so we can discuss, lol

@POOHEAD189 Your story is more exciting than mine. That was a narrow escape. Happy to see you alive, bro.

I used to work for a railroad as a conductor. I was spotting an empty "boxcar" at a customer's dock. I backed into the customer's spur and tied my empty onto an existing empty rail car already on spot. Since the existing car already had a hand brake on it, I did not put one on the new car I was leaving. I assumed the hitch was good and that the knuckles would hold the car in place. I closed the air valve on the last car I was taking back into the rail yard tied onto the engine and then pulled the lever to separate from the car I just spotted. I told the engineer to take it ahead over the radio and then had him stop just past a derailing device on the customer's track. The spur was on slightly elevated ground. We shoved the train up hill to spot the car. If a car were to get away on the spur track, it would roll over a derailing device before it re-entered the yard. I stepped between the rail to put the derail back on the track. I heard a noise and looked to my right. The empty rail car, weighing roughly 25 or 30 tons was heading at me, at about two or three miles an hour. When I spotted it, it was about ten yards away. I yelled an expletive and dove out of the way. The runaway rolled over the derail and went on the ground. I was safe, but shaken. Apparently, the hitch was not good, the knuckles opened allowing the downhill car to roll away. The air reservoir used to hold the brakes had bled out. There needs to be a high amount of air pressure in one reservoir and zero psi in the other in order for the brakes to hold. The reservoir that should have been under pressure, was also at zero psi. When the two reservoirs have equal air pressure, the brakes release.

I'm sortta indifferent to beards, tbh. Some guys can pull them off, some can't. One thing I don't understand is why sometimes they let them grow as long as I do my hair.

Hmm.... You actually gave me an idea. xD We shall see.

Yea, I don't care for beards that grow beyond maybe 6 inches or so. I only grow a beard in November. It has never been my style anyway. I just do it to see what it looks like on me. I have always been the type to look years younger than I really am. I have only a few gray hairs on top of my head. But when I grow the beard, it is all gray. Ugh. Better to keep it shaved.

Vodka, tequila, whiskey... xD

I'm not that picky, tbh. Granted, I am under the legal drinking age, so I have to take what I can get as it comes to me.
