Frodo smiled at Gandalf softly, as he was relieved to have one of his close friends by his side through this. He looked at the she-elf with some caution. Not sure what to think about Saeril, having witnessed the argument between her, Kili and Yavanna. He glanced back at Gandalf unsure, if Saeril was safe or not.

Aragorn stood up, walking over to Frodo. "If by my life or death I can protect you. I will." he said as he bowed to the Hobbit. His sword on his knee. "You have my sword."

Yavanna walked over to Frodo; giving the young Hobbit a smile. Despite her sadness and hurt. "I shall help you, in any way I can. That is a Promise, Young Frodo."

Kili walked over to the group next. "I pledge my allegiance to you, young Frodo." Kili wasn't too happy, that Saeril would be on this task too. But he wanted to help make sure Yavanna would be alright. And if he had to protect her from Saeril; he would do so. Aswell, help the young Hobbit on his mission.

Lord Elrond smiled to himself, seeing how many people were willing to help young Frodo. Although a little worried about his daughter. Although he knew Yavanna had a good heart, he didn't want her to get into trouble by risking her life. And with things not being so good between her and Saeril. It'd be a test.

Tauriel was the next to walk over. "I shall protect you with all that I owe."

Gimli walked over to the young Hobbit. ".....and you have my Axe."

Boromir too walked over towards the group. "Your carry the fate of us all little one. If this is the will of the council, then Gondor should see it done." he said as he gave Frodo an encouraging smile. Young Frodo looked a little speechless, as so many people wanted to help him. But he was also grateful, knowing he had them all behind him.

Saeril noticed the amount of caution that everyone had displayed towards her, and all she could do was look away from them, not willingly to hold eye contact with them for too long. In all honesty, she was quite used to such reactions, but with the addition of the people she had treasured, to do the same, she was not so used to that. Even Gandalf noticed the change and, with Frodo to look back at him with the same expression, he reassured the young Hobbit with a nod, silently telling him to trust her, as well as himself. Plus, he had full-faith in the winged she-elf, knowing what really happened when he confronted her, temporarily healed her, and gave her sanctuary, in the first place.

Even with young princess to decide on joining them on the task, the Grey Wizard winked to the Lord, really to reassure him that everything was going to be alright...even though he can't really be sure that the promise was guaranteed. However, Gandalf had complete faith in the girl, as he had managed to sense some potential within her, since she was a child.

"And you have my bow", Legolas spoke up, having to stand with the others, besides Tauriel and Yavanna.

Lord Elrond saw Gandalf's wink and gave the Wizard a soft smile. He trusted Mithrandir. Knowing, Yavanna had been close to the Wizard from a young age. Surely, Yavanna would be safe with Gandalf looking out for. But not just Gandalf. With Kili, Tauriel, Aragorn and most of all Legolas looking out for his daughter. Surely, she would be safe. And he trusted Gandalf, whom had helped Yavanna with her powers a few times before, when she was younger.

Frodo trusted Gandalf and his word. Giving his friend a nod.

Yavanna felt more than relieved, when Kili, Tauriel and Legolas joined the group. Standing besides the elven Prince. Feeling more safe at his side. Like she would have usually done by Saeril. But now...she wasn't sure if she could even trust Saeril. It would be too much...too soon, after such horrible news and hurt/anger she caused to her and Kili.

All of a sudden, another young Hobbit run over from the bushes. "Mr Frodo, isn't going anywhere without me." Sam said putting his hands on his small hips. Looking up at the Elven Lord.

Lord Elrond looked down at Sam "Indeed, it is almost impossible to separate you two. Even when he is invited to a secret council, and you are not." he said with a light chuckle.

"Wait! We're coming too!" Everyone looked over their shoulder to see two young cheeky Hobbits run over from two pillars, where they were hiding. "You'd have to send us home, tied in a sack to stop us." Merry said as he stood besides his friends and those who had joined them.

"Besides, you need people of Intelligence on this sort of mission....quest...thing." Pippin said as he tried to stand tall and proud; looking serious.

"Well...that rules you out Pip." Merry said lightly shaking his head at his partner in crime.

Lord Elrond looked a little shocked, when the other two Hobbits sprung out of nowhere. They sure were sneaky. Looking at all of them together. "13 Companions....so be it! You shall be the Fellowship of the Ring!" he said as he looked at the group, giving them their title.

Pippin smiled brightly "Great!" he said with enthusiasm "Where are we going?!" His words caused Yavanna to smile a little bit. As the young Hobbit clearly didn't seem to listen enough to know their destination, yet was enthusiastic about the adventure before hand. Tauriel looked amused by the young Hobbits.

The rest of the day was rather rough: Yavanna and Kili are now avoiding her, and Saeril was left to venture around by herself, merely because she promised to be her distance from the princess and her godson. All she could give them, was time, until they could actually to each other properly, once the tension dies down. The only person she was able to talk to, was the grey wizard, who've managed to reassure her that such things take time. She could only understand that what she was speaking, was truth, and that Kili and Yavanna had to sort through their thoughts, before they come back with questions. She also knew it didn't mean her devotion to them would be any less.

Legolas had received word that he was expected by Lord Elrond, who was requesting his presence. He didn't know why, but he had any idea that it had to do something with Yavanna. Meanwhile, Arwen learned of her little sister's participation of being involved to take on such a quest. As long as she had known the younger, Yavanna has been always wiling to help others, but this particular deed worried her: She was about to step into something that could potential be the last time of ever seeing her alive. She didn't want to lose her, not like how they lost their mother.

As the day progressed; every one of the 13 members of the companionship was somehow getting ready for the journey. Yavanna was in her room, packing a few things for the long road. She did not know, how long this quest would last. Or when she would be home. But she packed a few essentials she would be needing with her, for such a journey. Walking over to her drawer; Yavanna pulled out a little trinket of sorts. It was a broken locket. Opening it up. Yavanna glanced down upon the picture of a beautiful silver haired, emerald eyed beauty; holding a new born child. Her mother. A few days after Yavanna was born. She felt the tears form in her eyes heavily. "I miss you nana." she whispered. Clutching the broken locket inside of her grip. Yavanna was said to look the most like Lady Celebrian. They had the same Emerald eyes. Everything about them seemed the same...apart from Yavanna's black hair.

Frodo meanwhile, got a visit from his uncle Bilbo....

Lord Elrond was standing on the Balcony; where he was waiting for Legolas. Wanting a few words with the Elven Prince.

A female figure had entered the bedroom of the princess, having to approach with such grace and elegance, one wouldn't notice her presence right away. She seemed to glide across the floor in how she walked, while her long black hair had draped down her back. "Is it true?", Arwen asked the younger elf, having to be quite curious. "You're going to Mordor?", her soft voice having to be a bell in one's ears.

Meanwhile, Legolas ventured his way to the place, where the Lord had been expecting him. He managed to see him at the spot, and the Elf Prince didn't hesitate to approach. "You wish to speak to me, my Lord?"

Yavanna was lost in thought; that she almost didn't hear her elder sister walk into the room. She gasped slightly, with a light jump upon seeing Arwen. Quickly blinked back her tears; closing up the broken locket that was in her hand. "I see, word travels faster than the wind." she said softly. Yavanna nodded her head, at her sister's second question.

Lord Elrond turned around upon Legolas' arrival. "Yes, I just wanted to have a few little words with you." he told the Elven Prince with a soft smile. "I know how much, my youngest has come to care for you. And truthfully, I am glad she has someone like you in her life. I couldn't wish for a better man for our beloved Yavanna." In so many words, Elrond was giving Legolas his blessing in a way. "But with this task ahead...I can't help but worry about her. She's still young, still has a lot to learn about the ways of our world. I couldn't bare if she was lost."

As soon as Yavanna confirmed on what she had just heard, Arwen didn't hesitate to approach her quickly, and wrap her arms around her little sister, having to fear for her safety, as well as not know what may lay ahead of her during the quest. "Be safe, and come home", she said to her, before letting go. As if on cue, the doors opened, and a few of the Elven servants walked in...with objects in her hands. "Take these. I've had them re-forged. They would do you some good on the road", she gestured to the bow, the quiver of arrows, as well as an Elven sword.

Legolas had his head up, having to feel proud at what the Lord was recalling about the princess. "I've come to find her, as one of the most purest people I have ever come to encounter. I've grown rather fond of her, my Lord, and I don't intend to lose her any time soon", he spoke with determination lingering in his voice. "I'll protect her with my life".

Seeing her elder sister approach her quickly. Yavanna wrapped her arms around Arwen. Hugging her elder sister, whom she loved and always looked up to in a tight and loving hug. Yavanna always felt the closest to her big sister. She nodded her head "I will." she said softly. Yavanna was planning on coming back home; safe and sound hopefully. When all of this was over. "Take care of father, whilst I am gone. I know he'll worry too much." she said softly. As elven servants walked in with weaponry. Yavanna smiled to herself. She hadn't a bow since Guards at Mirkwood took hers upon their capture. "Thank you, I am sure they'll come in very handy." she said softly.

Lord Elrond saw the Proudness in Legolas' eyes. He was a good man. Yavanna was very lucky to have him. He smiled at his words about his daughter. "Thank you, Yavanna is a gem." he was relieved to hear that Legolas would protect her. "I am glad, keep her safe. You're one of the few people, I trust with her safety and happiness. She has a heart of Gold, but sometimes she can be a little stubborn and get herself into dangerous situations." He recalled a few memories from Yavanna's younger days. "She would always sneak off, and follow me and my men when we would be hunting down Orcs. At times, we would always notice too late and catch her in battle. Even from a young age, she was an exceptional fighter." He was proud of his daughter. Knowing how capable she was. But he also knew, sometimes she could act on impulse.

"I will. Promise", Arwen didn't hesitate to say that she was, as long as they both knew their father. Since the loss of their mother, worry was all that Lord Elrond could display, every time his children would leave the Rivendell palace. He would never know what their fate would be, no matter what he saw with his foresight. Some were true, some were not. One could never be accurate nor certain. All he and Arwen, who shared this ability, could do, was show faith and hope. The older sister smiled gently at the girl, knowing that she would accept her gifts.

While Lord Elrond continued to explain, Legolas couldn't help but think back on the girl, wondering how and what she was doing at this point in time. He nodded in agreement, before smiling to himself. "I can assure you that she's not the first one to possess such traits", he was referring to himself, as well as Tauriel, before turning serious once again. "Her life will be in my hands upon this quest".

Yavanna was glad, of her sister's promise. At least, their father had Arwen here to stop him worrying so much. At times, Yavanna and Arwen held more faith and hope, than their father in certain situations. Walking over to the servants. Yavanna took each gift; as she admired the beauty and curve of the bow, and the sword that her elder sister had reforged for her sake.

"I am sure." Lord Elrond said with a light chuckle when Legolas said she wasn't the only one. He was thankful, he could trust Yavanna with him. "I am relieved, I don't have to worry so much, knowing she has you to turn too." Lord Elrond told Legolas. "You may go, and see her if you wish." Looking at the young elven Prince. As if he could tell he was curious where Yavanna was. "If you're looking for her, you may find her either in her Chambers or her favorite spot in the castle...which is just past the Library. It's very lovely and quiet spot."

After Arwen had left her room. Yavanna put away her sword from Erebor into her sword. It was a little heavier than that of an Elvish Sword. Once she had everything packed, for tomorrow's start of the journey. Yavanna stepped out onto her balcony. Looking out at Rivendell and what laid beyond. Her heart heavy with that day's events. Her mind filled with thoughts of her mother once more, as she played with the broken locket.

Holding the object in her hand. Yavanna decided to go for a little walk. Exiting her balcony and Chambers. Heading towards the open part of the elven castle, past the Library where Yavanna liked to go, when she needed some space.

Legolas respectfully bowed to the higher elf before making his exit...to the place that Elrond knew, Yavanna would be mostly seen. Passing by the library, like he was told, he spotted the young princess by herself in the distance. He didn’t know wh she wanted to be alone, but he figured it was her way of collecting her thoughts after what happened at the meeting. Carefully approaching her, the Elf Prince made his presence known. “Yavanna”, he called out, softly, really to not startle her from her own thoughts. He managed to reach her, by the time she would acknowledge him.

“How do you fair?”, he asked, wanting to know how she was doing.

When Yavanna reached her favorite spot in the castle. She stood near the pillars, looking down upon Rivendell. Feeling the slight breeze come into through the openness of the area, she stood. Hearing footsteps and a familiar voice. Yavanna looked over her shoulder gently. It was clear she had been deep in thought, and troubled by what had been going on. Due to the sadness in her eyes. "Legolas...how did you find me?" she asked softly. Not many knew of her spot here. "Did father, give away my secret spot?" she asked softly. Not minding that her father told Legolas, where she liked to go. If there was one person she was glad to see right now, it was Legolas.

His question, made her glance down at the broken locket in hand. Her thumb tracing it's rim. "Honestly...I've been better." she said, with heavy heart like feeling to her words.

Legolas heard her question while he proceeded to stand next to her, and look down upon the Elven kingdom; her home. “He knew I’d come for you”, he said, in response. The sight was beautiful; the gentle breeze flowing through his and the princess’ hair, while having to brush against their fair and sensitive skin. “I promised Lord Elrond to look after you upon the journey. I know that he worries”, he then looked to her, and towards an object in her hand. “May I ask...what that is?”, he asked softly, quite curiously.

If only he could ease her mind, and bring back that smile he has been enchanted by.

Hearing Legolas tell her about her father and how much he worried. It did not surprise her. "Ever since...Mother dissapeared. All he's done is worry more, even over the littlest of things." Yavanna closed her eyes slightly, holding back tears as she mentioned her mother. As Legolas seemed quiet curious what she held in her hand, she held it out towards him. A gesture; that he could open it if he wanted to, to have a closer look. "It belonged to my mother, it was a locket, her chain went missing...it's one of the few things I have left off her."

Legolas noticed the amount of restrained sorrow within her voice and, of his Elven sight was good enough, he could spot the tears that seemed to build within her green eyes. He didn’t like to see her cry; it didn’t really suit her as one of the people would mostly smile. He wanted to see that smile, but through a few circumstances, it was going to be tough. The blonde elf felt the urge to wipe them away, take away her sadness, and let her natural glow shine.

“Just like my father”, he concluded, noticing that her case was very similar to his own. However, having to see her pass the trinket to him, he carefully and gently took it into his own hands. Carefully, he opened it, having to see a picture of a woman and a child. It was Lady Celebrian, along with one of her children as a baby. She looked so much like Yavanna, with exception of the differing hair colors. A lingering feeling grew in his chest, and he silently tried to hold it down; for it to be the feeling of a heartache. His own mother came rushing back, and he closed his eyes, while closing the locket.

“I haven’t thought of my mother for ages. I tried to forget what fate had laid upon her”, he confessed, having to turn halfway around, so his back was to the princess. As strong as Legolas seemed to be, his mother and father have always been called “home”. Underneath the surface, he was actually starting to crack...

Yavanna was slowly realizing how similar their families were; in relation to loss and fathers worrying for them. As Legolas spoke off his own mother. Yavanna reached out, gently touching his shoulder; as he was half facing away from her. "I always tried not to think about it, but unfortunately...most of the time, it all comes back to me." Yavanna couldn't forget her mother's fate, no matter how much she would try. Especially with how much heart-ache her brothers had caused her regarding the matter.

"I am sorry you lost her too. I am sure, she was lovely." Yavanna said softly. Even though she knew nothing of Legolas' mother, besides what sad fate she had met. Yavanna was sure, that his mother was a wonderful person. It was a shame, such wonderful people were lost to such fates.

When she touched his shoulder, Legolas jumped a little, but relaxed into the touch quite easily, knowing that she was there to soothe him in such dark times. She was his angel; a listener; his light in the darkness. Slowly turning around to face her again, he looked down at the locket, as soon as Yavanna expressed her pity.

“She was just like you: Beautiful, wise, conscience. You remind me of her...and I like that”, the Elf Prince looked back up to her again, before reaching his hand out to her, gesturing for her to take the locket back. “You should wear it. I’m sure it would look beautiful”, he remarked, having to look into her eyes, and give sad smile; once he had not given in such a long time,

Yavanna felt Legolas jump a little bit. Her thumb gently rubbed his shoulder, giving it a gentle, loving squeeze. Even though she felt sadness herself. She hated to see the sadness in his icy blue eyes. Not having seen sadness in them often. Only the one time, his mother had been mentioned at Gundabad. Her hand gently slide down his shoulder, as he turned around. Resting against his arm affectionately.

As he held out the locket back to her, Yavanna thought about his words. Did she really remind him of his mother so much? The compliment made her blush slightly. "You think so?" she whispered softly, as he mentioned she should wear the locket. Yavanna would have to ask one of the servants to make a chain to suit it. Her free hand, gently picked up the locket from his grip. Both their eyes were filled with sadness. Wrapping her arms around him gently, Yavanna rested her head against his chest, as she hugged him.

The only response that Legolas gave, was a smile upon his handsome Elven face, when she asked him if was sure. He wasn’t lying, and he never had. He figured that the locket would look nice upon the daughter of Lord Elrond and Lady Celebrian; like it was meant to be passed down to the young Yavanna. “I’m sure she would want you to”, he encouraged her, before the princess wrapped her arms around him. The blonde didn’t hesitate to reciprocate what she was trying to give, and he was willing to return it, with one of his arms wrapped around her waist, and the other upon her upper back.

Once again, he tried to breathe the young she-elf in, while they were in the embrace. It was almost if it made him want to...know what it was like. By the time Yavanna pulled away, he looked into her green eyes, before carefully allowing his fingers to touch the side of her face. It took him a few moments to gather his bearings on what he wanted to do. Slowly, he leaned down, towards her face, and gently allowed their lips to touch.
