Heyo, it's been awhile, hope you're coping well with stuff on your end.
I actually thought of something awhile back regarding this RP and the characters, and I don't know if this seems like a weird thing to do, but I've come to some conclusions about the psychological states of the Dainia princes. I'm not a psychologist, mind you. The following are just theories based on what has happened so far.
Eliezer has developed emotional detachment disorder:
- Strict upbringing has led him to believe that emotions are dangerous (as shown by his fear of feeling 'love').
- Finds difficulty in expressing his own feelings.
- Struggles to find an appropriate response when others share their feelings with him (as seen from his awkward moments when interacting with Raven).
Mathazar suffers from antisocial personality disorder/sociopathy:
- Contribution to his condition made by emotional neglect and lack of supervision as a child.
- Lack of empathy (wants brother dead so he can get what he wants, doesn't care that Raven wants to kill his father).
- Unable to form bonds with other people (Eliezer is the person who is supposed to be closest to him, but still means nothing to him).
- Is very convincing when putting on his 'nice' front (has easily tricked people into believing that he cares for them).
It's actually kind of sad, if we look at it like this :( I'm sorry if this ruined it for you though, just thought I'd share how it looks like the both of them were psychologically damaged by their upbringing.
