Grace made her way back to the others, slinking through the woods. Although she was a woman, her movements were said to be very fox-like, even when she didn't use her amulet. She had always been a very lithe woman, very aware of her body's motion, and always careful of where she stepped. She had to be, given her lack of footwear and light frame. The young woman knew these woods like the back of her hand, or sole of her foot, as she would sometimes say. Every surface, every rock, every blade of grass was familiar to her on some level, and she knew almost instinctively when something was wrong, or if there was an intruder in the forest. A law far older than that of man operated here, and she knew it. Perhaps this was why she had little respect for the current laws of men.

Arriving at the camp, she quickly found Kurokama. "Hello, there. I suppose you were wondering where I was all this time? I was following some of the 'lord's men' in the forest. The brutes were cutting and hacking at all the plant's they... sorry. I didn't mean to delay things. It's just that ever since I got this amulet, I've been very sensitive to what's been happening in the woods. What are my orders?"

Sable nodded at acceptance of his orders and as he left the tent he saw Grace joining their camp again.

"Bear wants to see-" He went completely unnoticed as she passed him by, already going to his quarters.

It bubbled in him a bit before he let it go, though he felt like he still wasn't being treated like an officer of this camp... as if he weren't any better than a rookie just joining the Kurokuma bandits...

"Listen up!" Sable shouted as he tried getting the attention of the others, but they kept going on with their business which made him boil some more "I said, LISTEN UP!" he broke a nearby chair against the table it was at, the out burst received the attention of many "We need 30 men to gear up, have ourselves a special mission in the coastal villages. Be ready to fight some soldiers we leave when the Big Bear's orders."

Sable stormed out of camp looking for Lucas next, that boy was on sentry duty and the fluffy noble walks right into camp. He would find him sitting in a tree, a tree Sable furiously kicked.

"Wakey Wakey, The Gods are watching!" he shouted as he kicked.

Lucas looked down as he felt the tree shake a little and some one shouting furiously at him. He leaned over the branch and looked down at Sable. He gave out a cheeky smile that clearly said yes Sable? and also Gods? Watching? His gray eyes were alight with excitement and he flipped out of the tree. He landed on the ground in a crouch in front of Sable. He found Sable amusing. That didn't mean he didn't respect the man. He crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. Before Sable could get after him for letting the diplomat in. He gave a series of gestures that said He wasn't a threat, I thought it would be funny. He let out a wink and then started to walk back. He honestly wasn't that afraid of the group, they were a fun group of people that was always good for a laugh.

Admittedly they were a bit loud at times, and also annoying but they were all just out here trying to survive. He stretched out his legs looking around and watched his surroundings. He realized that he might be a little younger than everyone else in the clan. But he had progressed to third in charge and everyone had come to accept him, well almost everyone. A few people might have not have accepted him. He had gained the rank considerably faster than the normal thief. Kurokuma probably had more faith in Lucas than was appropriate. He glanced back at Sable making sure that he wasn't going to tear Lucas apart.

Gehrhart rode with Wren in tow to the tree Lucas was lounging in. "Sable" he nodded to the man as he looked up to the young man in the tree. Lucas is the lead hunter, he would know the forest well enough Gehrhart thought and called up "Lucas, I need a guide to the healer in the woods, one of the recruits has been injured and i lack the skill to mend his wounds."

After that he faced Sable "I saw some men prepping, I take it Kurokuma has decided to act on our visitors advice?" he asked looking down at the man. What he didn't mention was that he had seen Sables outburst, respect is earned Sable he thought and the men do not give it freely. Gehrhart was not particularly fond of Sable, he felt the man carried entitlement to closely and he had never liked mercenaries, but Kurokuma had brought him on and Gehrhart trusted him so he had let Sable join without complaint and so far Sable had remained loyal.

Sable fumed silently in frustration as Lucas silently 'explained' why he let the diplomat pass, their stereo silence was broken when Gehrhart rode in on them.

"It does look that way, but Lucas has also been asked to see the Bear, possibly his own task if we are getting involved in this thing. No need to worry though, I just so happen to know where the healer is so if you lemme get my mount we can be on our way." Recalling Gehrhart's story he always wondered if he would stand up for himself if he must contest the chain of command and why he did not simply slay the runt who was their commander in his sleep. He could see it now, the crime would go unnoticed when discovered that he was behind a massacre and his list of enemies too long to count.

Sable mounted his horse as continued to contemplate his 'superior' and his past. Surely the thought crossed Gehrhart's mind on how things would be different had he not let the chain of command restrain him. He himself was not entirely bound to that chain and that even know should he ever find someone desperate enough to try and buy him... well it would take a lot of coin to make him betray the Bear... a lot of coin.

Sable returned mounted rather quickly "Alright I will lead the way" he looked to Lucas "We will have words later, but Kurokuma wants you now so don't leave him waiting." Sable rode forward into the woods expecting to lead Gehrhart and Wren to the Healer.

It didn't take Sable as long to find the pale-haired healer as it normally would have. Dove was still sitting out near the path, like a pale blonde beacon against the greens and browns of the forest.

At spotting two men with a clearly injured youth riding in her general direction, she stood and walked over to the edge of the path, raising her slender hand to hail the two of them to stop. She wasn't sure if they were looking for her or another healer, but injuries were injuries, and were best treated as soon as possible. She looked at the youth with her peculiar dark eyes, trying to gauge how he was injured. However, she couldn't see him clearly, only knowing he was injured by the pain on his face. Her brow furrowed slightly as she waited for them to either stop or pass her by.

"Here she is" Gehrhart said as he saw the pale young woman "You'll keep your arm yet Wren". Wren meanwhile had become rather pale and drawn his injuries obviously taking a toll.

As they rode up to the small house Gehrhart dismounted his horse and gave a bow to the young healer. "Fair Lady, One of our company has been injured and we have brought him here in hopes that your skills may aid him" Gehrhart hoped that The healer wouldn't ask to many questions, the noble who had appeared had known much about them and he didn't want strangers privy to the clans movements.

"We will of course compensate you for your assistance" he added throwing some incentive in. "Boy!" Gehrhart said to the other young man riding with Wren "Take your brother inside and help the lady with anything she may need" the young man looked confused for a second then realization dawned on him as he nodded confirmation and began gingerly helping Wren down.

walking over to Sable who had remained on his horse Gehrhart Said, "Thank you for helping us get here, Now ride back to the Caravan and tell them we shall return shortly,Dear Brother".

Sable caught on to the 'dear, brother' routine just as quickly as the other did. He silently nodded before turning around on his horse and riding back to the camp, though this did not stop him from sneaking some glances at the healer. He hadn't let on how much he actually knew about her from his informants, but she wasn't much like anyone he had met before. Healing any who could be saved with little to nothing as compensation, she sustained herself in her home... alone. Rumors said she was a strange witch who was trying to attain a peaceful afterlife from the gods by doing good deeds but witches were supposed to be hideous creatures scarred by the gods. Whatever she may be, she had caught Sable's eye... there had to be something else, no one is EVER that clean. He had considered many times going out himself to spy on the healer but he wouldn't risk alerting her with the rattling of his armor. Though having seen her he is wondering if he had were wrong to have waited so long to finally see this woman.

She listened politely, and then beckoned for the young man to bring Wren inside. Her dark eyes scanned the both of them before Sable left. She looked at Gehrhart with a knowing glint in her eyes, and purposely left the door open, so as to let Gehrhart supervise her if he wished. She scowled at the filthy rag on Wren's arm.

"The only compensation I need is knowing you'll bring any more of your injured caravan directly to me or another healer instead of trying to use disgusting rags like this to try and bind a wound. Had you waited any longer the rag would have no doubt caused an infection, and the poor boy no doubt would've either lost this arm or died," she said without looking up, tossing the rag dismissively aside and producing a clean one, which she set at her side.

Then she set to work, her slender fingers gently prodding at and around the wound and up and down the arm. She waved the other young man aside, but let him watch. Perhaps he would learn something from watching her. Young people tended to be rather clever. Especially observant ones. She made sure to clean the wound out well, along with setting it and immobilizing it in a splint.

After her work was done, she then took a bit of the spare bandaging and made it into a small pouch with some herbs inside and handed it to Gehrhart. "These are for his pain. They can be mixed in with whatever he drinks, but only mix in a pinch. They're rather concentrated, and cause significant drowsiness. Too much will either make him sick or kill him. I've already given him some. Let him sleep once you get back. As long as the wound is kept clean and he doesn't use that arm for about a month and a half, he should be fine. Make sure he moves it around a little, though, or else the resulting stiffness of immobility will be even worse," she instructed flatly.

Tarvos was a bit impatient

Maybe it was because he'd been sitting for quite a while, watching the hustle and bustle of the camp. Maybe it was because he'd finished the book he'd brought along, in case he had to stay. Maybe it was because he wanted to get home to make sure that he could greet Lady de Vale in time. He wanted to get what he wanted ready, and prepare these bandits to become something more than bandits.

He slowly stood, then approached Kurokuma. "Kurokuma, I have a favour to ask. I need to return to my home, and prepare a few things for a guest that's coming to me in a few days. If you wish, you can send some men to escort me, and you'll know where to find me. I believe I've provided you with everything you need."
