Possibly. I might include the 'uncivilized races' which are more tribal/savage compared to the others and currently include centaurs, goblins, and orges.

@Ithradine, I did forget to ask the obvious question regarding Vampires, but do they have fangs? I assume not since it wasn't in the lore and they are essentially "Elves who consume blood" from what I understand.

Would it be possible for an Aetheri to be attuned to Illusion? Or otherwise naturally learn to perform such magics? I was thinking about playing a prankster sort of pixie type of fey that's the black sheep of some Aetheri Royal family. If not, that's fine. Just want to consider my options.

EDIT: Oh, and another thing. When you say they can 'grow in size' for a short time, is that the size of your average human?

Okay, I'm going to have my vamp character hail from the City of Amaranthine in the Dremorian Empire, and through a series of unfortunate events (which I'm working on atm), she was exiled and has been, more or less, a nomad.

So...just throwing out an idea, but I imagine the Dremorian Empire as being more or less very Gothic and rigid in it's architecture. Massive towers, castles, etc, and even the towns within the Empire share similar styles. That being said, their armor/weapons/wardrobe, etc would reflect that type of aesthetic.

Does that sound plausible, or did you have a different idea?

So, is this classic rules? Could a forest guardian be a character, so long as she falls under one of the races?

Are you planning to expand on the Shattered Lands, Leviathan Islands and Isle of the Lost?
Also, my idea of a character is a High Inquisitor from the Kingdom of Caraxis with countless successful hunts in his career. His latest high profile case required him to go beyond the borders of his Kingdom with a group of trusted inquisitors. They all died during the mission but he managed to wound his target and followed them to The Sanctuary.

Now if that idea is acceptable I would like to ask about the technological level of weaponry in Caraxis since they are superior to any other place as far as pure magicless technological advancements go. How can you use science to nullify magic? Is the magic nullifying magic an exception to the no magic rule in the kingdom? Are they advanced enough to implement bionics, chips our simply replace body parts with mechanical arms?@Ithradine

Thanks for the likes on my profiles @Glyph & @ShwiggityShwah. Yeah it is indeed long in terms of her history since it has 33,780 characters worth of a History. Ironic enough I crafted all the other portions of her profile before I worked on her history. But I enjoyed crafting her history for this specific roleplay. Stephanie's parents are as if they are demons in human skin since that's what that nightmare more or less signified. Even though, they are humans. The Asshole scale puts them at an 8 out of 10.

Besides that I am going to enjoy seeing your profile, Glyph. In terms of the exiled Vampire from the Dremorian Empire. And I am enjoying reading the Veidish Prophet's Profile, ShwiggityShwah. I can't wait for the Veidish's profile to be finished. Since it is highly intriguing as a whole.

I believe that should be perfectly fine. Being attuned to illusion magic would make your character a rare case among the Aetheri which might help your idea of being a black sheep.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head regarding their architecure and clothing style. Also, it is funny that you should choose Amaranthine as your city because it is home to one of the most powerful vampires in the world named Catherine St.Claire and her two sisters.

That idea fits very nicely within the lore for Caraxis. Their technology level is around pre-industrial era with some bits of steampunk tech gained from the Dwarves. There are certain magical materials that feed off of magic. One such device is a collar that drains all magic power from the user. Another is a shield using a refined alloy mixed with a crystal that blocks magical attacks.

I might give the islands around the main continent some more information once I set up the full RP. The Leviathan Islands and Shattered lands are mostly unexplored places with either tribal races or savage monsters.

In any case, that is fine with me as long as they have a reason to go to the Sanctuary. The occupation or role you had outside of the Sanctuary can be completely up to you as long as it doesn't break the current lore or is too powerful.

Hey boss. Is my character's divine connections okay for the story? I want to use it as a way of kind of adding some potential gods into the story. Make them as terrifying or comically petty as you want, they can act through the walking tree that is Nidhogan.

I just want to make you aware that the war against the Lich King occurred 10,000 years ago in the history of this world. No living beings would still be alive to remember anything about it.

Other than that, I don't have problems with it being able to hear the voices of some gods but I would rather not add more gods to the current pantheon.

Oh good, I like when the hammer doesn't miss the nail. So...I do have another idea for Amaranthine specifically (although I suppose other cities within the DE can adapt), but what if there were "Houses" that belonged to various families. (i.e. like in GoT, House Stark, House Targaryen, etc) For instance, Lord-governor Encel Armenis might be at the top of the chain, and then there can be houses under that. Perhaps the "houses" are vying for power/influence over each other or neighboring cities within the DE.

Just a thought :)

I do really like the idea. It would add some political flavor to the Dremorian Empire. The lazy part of me see that a bit too much work right now so if you want to include it somehow with your character, it would be just Amaranthine for now
