I'm just saying. The dice gods are fickle beings, sometimes they love you. Other times they enjoy your plight.

Well either way, if you want to distract the cyclopes instead, be my guest.

Well... Well angus has alreafy mentioned he has an idea. Lilt can use her barfic inspiration to help you with that twelve.

You can also kick back a bit as Roy and lilt have better dexs. Lilt can squeeze into places no one else can. And she also has Minor Illusion. While she can't use it to create something large and move it. She can use it to create a sound of any volume.

You have the knowledge of that. Trouble with her is you need to convince the coward she will be fine

If there is a cliff somewhere, maybe we can fool the beast into falling to it's death?
If nothing else, Lilt can use her minor illusion to help Angus while Roy is ready to make a secondary distraction if dice rolls go bad and the barbarian gets in a bad spot with the cyclopes.

I wonder if it is stupid enough for that.

I do hope so. Stats for cyclops in regards to intelligence and wisdom are pretty bad.

Youd probably have a better time pulling an Odysseus. Blind him and sneak by on the belly of sheep. But we can shoot him in the eye and lead him off the cliff... Or just piss off the trogdolytes... Or lure him away and sneak past.

Which is what either Angus or Roy are about to do.

You wouldn’t need to roll since you can definitely tell you’re still along the coastline and it looks pretty flat. Unless you intend to have the Cyclopes climb that cathedral you guys rested at in the beginning there isn’t a fall anwywhere near enough to cause significant damage. Falling from the cathedral wouldn’t even kill the Cyclopes unless he was already damaged.

Also most Cyclopes aren’t covered in armor plates and live in ruined cities. Don’t take stats online and expect every enemy your face to perfectly conform to them. The Ruins of Norn is the last place you should expect “normal” monsters to be at.

I miss the old inspiration mechanics. Knowing I only got 1 more inspiration to give just feels depressing :/

EDIT: Also, I don't mind taking risks. If you want the Kobold to use suggestion, you'll need to convince her to do it. Which would mean, if it works, we can just tell the cyclops to kindly walk in a general direction for about 8hrs.

Due to bardic inspiration, Angus' stealth roll is now 15. Also when deciding if Angus succeeded or failed his stealth check, please note that Angus is going to wait until everyone has hidden themselves as per his suggestion before moving and Angus himself will keep out of the cyclopes' line of sight as much as possible.

Is it bad that I am hoping for a failure? So Kobold can just use suggestion, and say "Dearest Cyclopse, my boy! I know we've angered you! But if you'd spare a moment of your time to do as I ask? Just take a walk down that way, if you'd kindly. And just keep on walking!"

Of course... that'd be hoping for it not being undead, being able to understand common, rolls low. Cuz my DC is shiiiit.

So in case it wasn't clear, the cyclops definitely didn't spot you guys. Move yourself as needed, you can proceed to the next part of your plan.
