Good to meet you all straight to the point, I've been looking to get back into actively roleplaying recently as my work schedule is finally calming down and figured the best place would be somewhere I'd never been before and I found this wonderful looking place while browsing the many pathways of the interwebs.
I work in home care-giving and thus have long and strange work hours + call ins. I try to be as active as a I can but sometimes can only be on to post every other day or so because of my work situation.
I enjoy role plays from many fandoms and also enjoying trying out original ideas and what not.
Long posts, short posts I don't mind either more one than the other, I enjoy roleplays as both a social atmosphere and a way to practice my writing skills.
Favorite literary tools would be Chekhov's Gun/Gunman and building characters backstories and personality through application of real world memetics.
I most enjoy roleplaying villains as a story falls flat without someone to hate, or love to hate, or really just an antagonist to mirror the protagonist.
I very much believe in character death, so quite often you may see me let my characters die rather than asking for a miracle out of a situation but I always ask others before possibly killing theirs off, as that's just common courtesy.
Edit- Forgot to say, I started role playing back when I was 15, turned 24 yesterday, can't remember the first site, second site was ff.net(ye I know terrible right?) but I can't quite remember for what forum, it was either Katekyo Hitman Reborn or Naruto but it was one of those.
