Stealth is only needed if you’re doing anything more than sitting and watching, like trying to hop buildings or set up something big. If you’re just waiting for the others or doing minor things like drawing your weapons I won’t make you roll for it.

I'm in stealth just to prepare for the movement needed to get to Angus if something goes wrong.

Prestidigitation can be used to dirty things. Can it be used to give someone camoflauge. Coating someone in a layer of mud basically.

@Tangletail

You can’t use it to give camouflage (minor illusion does that) but you can use it to mask a scent so you can make someone smell like the rest of the squalor and waste around here.

Yeah Im sure Angus would appreciate it. Though I doubt the orc can sniff someone out.

And... Did you say the cantrip can give camo? Well hell, I guess the kobold can do something. I mean, I can understand disguise self doing that.

Situational camo you know. If you're standing still and colored the same pattern as the brick, sure, adv on a stealth check. But it's not an active camo that'll change as you move, at least not unless you're moving very slowly. The classic method I use Minor Illusion is to Solid Snake myself some foliage or rubble "around" my character as he slowly crawls forward.

Here's how I sorta use Minor Illusion, albiet with illusions that can only fit within a 5-foot cube (which is still big but not tall).

You can use what you had before, I recommend you go ahead and do whatever it was you plan to do to actually lure the cyclops away now.

And with that, I want everyone to roll initiative. Everyone has a surprise round sans Angus since his surprise round action was the javelin attack that'll trigger this encounter.

I have a question, and this is something I always ask gor small characters.

If I am in threatening range of an enemy, and an allyunit is nearby. If I move i to the allys area and out of it, Do I get 3/4s or full cover from the attack of opportunity.

@Tangletail

You'll get half-cover if the ally is in any position to defend themselves. That's effectively a +2 to your AC i believe. Only way you'll get 3/4 is if the ally is even bigger, like large sized aka a horse or some such. And of course there could be other risks involved with such a thing too, like your ally getting hit if the monster rolls a nat 20 or something.

Ah. So two sizes larger then. So a small creature would get 3/4th with a large. And Medium the same for Giant.

Well... I think all should be fine! As long as this doesn't happen.
