Hello! I'm still on board but I've been having a busy/crazy time outside of RPing. With some luck and no small amount of focus, I might be able to put up a post today.

I also understand that another user was interested in joining up, but failed to follow up with Lord last I heard. That was a few days ago.

With the holidays FINALLY in the rear view and things returning to normal, I can say finally in confidence that my unplanned(ish) hiatus is now finally done and over with and we can resume with the RP assuming all are still interested.

@LordOfTheNight We really should figure out what is effective against the cursed. I suggest that consecrated ground at least slows them. I also think that eventually Shiara will be able to create a ritual that either weakens them and makes them easier to kill, or perhaps returns them to properly dead. Of course the ritual itself won't be a fast thing, and she'll need the others to keep her safe while she casts it -- and it will only work in a specific area, either her immediate surroundings or else an area she has to mark out in advance.

Well we know that the wax that the Raven's use weaken the Cursed, dismemberment kills them along with fire, and sunlight harms them. I got no issue with your mage creating some sort of ritual to slow them down but I'm not too keen on making the Cursed easier to combat. However, it appears Fetzen will not be joining us; I am considering playing the character I had suggested for him that could both help your mage but also deal with the Cursed as well

@LordOfTheNight Shiara is probably not going to be able to fight the Cursed the way the others do, not without a lot of training. I would never make something that unbalances things -- if she does devise a ritual, you can bet it'll take long enough that everyone will need to do plenty of fighting to let her cast it. And that's more a thing for down the road. It just seems pointless to have her entire set of knowledge entirely useless. If you have other ideas for her, I'd love to hear them.

Fair enough point. I got no issue with you devising some sort of ritual to slow them down so long as it takes time. If you are interested and want to, I can type up the Raven Priest character Fetzen was going to play. Someone Shiara could relate a bit more to and perhaps learn a few things from. That is if you are interested
