Krav Maga class was fun this morning. Mixed class: white to Black belts doing gun defense.

I've discovered a thing called 8D audio and you need headphones or 3D speakers on your phone to get the effect.

I have earned and received further recognition and promotion yet again. What is to make this accomplishment even better is that not only was it unknown to me, I was hand selected. Better still, the specific noted accomplishment that christened the decision will be a matter that will appear in one the United States' historical research centers, becoming part of history.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity

That's very impressive, congrats!

The closest I've gotten was in high school when I received a presidential award for academic excellence. It's a piece of paper with Bush's signature stamped on it, but at the time it was a big deal to me.

Thank you both, @Gunther, @Liv, and even yet receiving official recognition from the office of President of the United States is still significant, especially for academic achievement. No small accomplishment, stamp or not.

For the unrelated but essential fact, in keeping with the topic, one of the elements I dread most about roleplaying is naming my characters. I do not enjoy the process of trying to formulate a name and almost always find myself second guessing it for the reason it just does not "feel" ideal in some terribly nondescript, inexplicable way.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity I feel you on the character naming thing.. it always feels like I'm overusing names even if I use a certain name for the first time like with my steampunk character Stella. Right now I'm trying to think up a name for my character for my Blood Moon Asylum roleplay.

I decided to remove the stress of naming characters a long time ago. I always look names up online and take one that seems to fit for me. If I am writing an Irish American, I look up "Irish American" names online. Recently, I created a pair of Half Orcs and looked their names up on a fantasy name generator: Bog Bilgepump and Dura Kharzach.

Relating to my most recent status, I'm not afraid to admit that I cried a little bit at the end of Toy Story 3.

I suppose the richest moment I had in highschool was when a 5th year Senior was trying to collect quotes of "Foster-isms" because the shit I said during my freshman year of mechanical drafting was classic.

@Liv, I think I've got one of Gerald Ford's last signatures about a year before he died.
Now if only I could cash in this John Mueller signature...

Just got back from watching Escape Room, and I loved it. Ending was a bit rushed, but otherwise an extremely entertaining movie for me.

Continuing with crying at movies, the first movie that made me cry was Dragonheart. I loved Sean Connery as Draco, so that ending…

...me too and my children did not understand why.

I chew and eat coffee beans when I'm stressed.
I had to hold instant coffee between lip and gum as a form of hazing once. It was not terribly painful, but tasted disgusting.

The movie, "The Notebook" is banned from our house for this reason.

I've seen it enough times to be immune. But somehow, roughly 2 years ago or so I realized that I'll cry very easily over little things. I guess it could be hormonal, who knows.
