You can mostly expect me to be in the interest of collecting information and learning new things. Separated as he may be from his home universe, Joseph is not separated from his connection to the Arcane magic that permeates the folds of all universes, poor as he may be at this moment at tapping into it, and a lot of his information gathering is focused on this. He would also like to actually figure out how to work this hat (not knowing that there isn't really a defined solution to getting it to work). In combat, he is generally inclined towards attempting powerful feats with the hat - usually things turn our alright, if not at all in the ways he expects.

Camddealltwriaeth - the hat of ultimate power. Also hard of hearing, a bit stubborn, and is only fluent in welsh. All things considered, Joseph has about a 5% chance to get it to do exactly what he wants. also it's stuck on his head. makes it a bit annoying to sleep with.
Second Level Wizard - Joseph is a low level magic user in his universe, capable of producing relatively low-power magical effects a few times per day.
H I S T O R Y
Joseph the travelling Wizard is a low level adventurer from a Pathfinder campaign set on an Earth-copy Fantasy universe who accidentally came across an extremely powerful artifact made by a rather eccentric and extremely powerful wizard, Gneradnyp Sloamjest. Gneradnyp chose to give the hat almost as much power as he himself had, but also chose to make it intelligent, and nearly impossible to use. he then created a dungeon out of nothing, filled it with treasure and monsters that posed little challenge to any but the newest of adventurers, and put the hat on the head of a zombie in the middle of it, hoping that some hapless low-life would end up with the hat and provide him with some entertainment for a bit.
Joseph has accomplished many great feats with this hat, including but not limited to
-accidentally polymorphing a dragon into a 14 foot tall hamburger
-stopping a flood by creating a small volcanic eruption under it
-turning his body into a remarkably rubbery, bouncy, and impact resistant form for 3 weeks, with the major disadvantage that the form also made him morbidly obese
-accidentally transporting himself to this universe last monday.
M O T I V A T I O N
This world is considerably safer and more interesting to him than the one he came from, so he's actually mostly interested in actually making a name for himself here and having a reason to stay. so far, being a "superhero" is the thing that most closely aligns with his skillset, so here he is. He is also somewhat moral, and does value saving lives.
