Flint, despite keeping his cool, was inwardly ecstatic. Pucey, however, was being a pain in the arse at the moment with how he was acting, but he couldn't help the laughs that came with it. He had honestly missed being around Pucey. He was one of the few that he had played well with, and it had crippled him to be away from him. But Pucey had pointed something out to him that he would never fucking admit. Ever... He may actually work with Bell better.
No... He told himself. He did work well with her, but there was no way that he could ever work with someone better than he did Pucey. Even in Hogwarts he and Puce were able to not even look at each other and just know.
Marcus shook his head, just glad that once they got these contracts signed, he could go and shower. After Bell had mentioned the fact that Pucey stunk, he became instantly aware of his own stench and it was not a good one. It would hopefully be a good night to celebrate too, even if Bell would be there, he just had to be extra aware of his drinking now. He wasn't on Tutshill anymore, and he actually gave a shit about the fact that this team could actually take him better places... Not to mention that this team had also not had the rep Tutshill did.
Once Marcus got out of the contract signing, he spotted Pucey heading his way and he stopped with his bag slung over his shoulder. "So, mate, ready to kick some arse on this team now?" Pucey said, and Marcus nodded.
"Always, mate. Always." he said, and he looked to his watch before he moved a bit. "See you later Puce, better get some grub and a shower before we meet up later."
He waved him off before he headed home, trying to avoid too many people on the way. Once he got in his door, he tossed his bag aside, and he headed straight for the bathroom and got the water as hot as he could before stripping down and hopping in the shower. He closed his eyes. This would definitely be loads different from what he was used to. Tutshill was a mediocre team, but The Falcons... This team had potential to be better than any he'd ever been on.
"Still annoying how well I work with little Bells." he muttered to himself. But he couldn't deny it... On the pitch they had the same attitude and it would help them out greatly. He also couldn't help the fact that once she was in front of him, he noticed that perhaps she wasn't quite the girl he remembered from Hogwarts. Maybe not quite the tall one, but she still had...
He turned the water immediately to cold as the thoughts flooded to him and kept it there like that for a moment before slowly warming it back up. "Don't need to think about that..." he mumbled to himself.
