Just how safe is the head of Vintair in this situation? I assume very safe, 'cause he is one of the ruling head of the city...? Just checking in wit-cha.

Also, how hard is it to kill a night lurker, what is the number of them invading, what are their stats?

There's an entry on them in the OP bestiary. They're basically giant centipedes.

Well...it's not too specific on what I need to know...but I'mma assume they're only dangerous due to occasional sheer number invasions, but are otherwise easy...

Their chitin is very hard. Not impenetrable but tough. They are capable of tearing a human apart in their jaws

As you can see in the pic, there are exposed sections of their natural armor.

They are pretty tough to kill.

Vintair might be safe seeing that he was on a second floor and guarded by his honorguard plus the other two houses

What's the "typical' armament of a townguard during these sorts of emergencies? I'm assuming at least sword and shield, maybe with a spear first than sword if they lose their spear.

Spears and crossbows. The use of swords if the spear is broken.

Grace carries a sidearm because she thinks swords are dumb and clumsy.

Swords are clumsy.........kay I actually can believe that, there are more elegant weapons out there, whips, knives, your fists. Hell the human body itself is one elegant weapon. But anyway how goes life, people?

You're only as clumsy as your inability to know what you're doing. But I digress. I've recetnly picked up Dark Souls and I'm trying to get a hang of it's brutality.

I would say good luck but that implies there's a chance of success. You dont "get used" to Dark Souls, you let it bend you over and hope it doesn't break you like a twig.

Hmph. Well I'm not going to give up just yet. I may have not yet defeated the bull demon, but I'm going to keep grinding the local zombies until their souls are no longer enough to fill my stats.

You can easily get used to Dark Souls, I played and beat Demon's and Dark Souls it's not that hard, hell Demon's was twice as hard as Dark especially because there is no level cap on who can come into your world and wreck you, I can't say how many times I was close to either getting towards the boss demon or getting to one of the extra bossish characters and would get smacked by a level 200+ as a level 50 lol. Also npcs were way less forgiving, smacking you down easily to half health if not to a 1/4 health. In Dark Souls I was surprised when the second tier soldier like enemies didn't kill me in two hits as a sorcerer.

Skender shapeshifts into his human-ish form away from prying eyes.
Luka is having fun beating a lurker down.

Well...Wondering how he can shapeshift the objects that he wears and just kills a 10 meter long Centipede creature with a single cut.

Oh, and how Luka is capable of keeping a night lurker at bay using chain whip and then defeats it by punching it.

I said the armor wasn't impenetrable but that it was tough. Bronze is tough. Not superior to steel but a steel sword isn't going to hack it to pieces. And then she punches it

Skender stabs it in the head after dropping down from a height, between two shell/armour pieces...though, admittedly, not sure about the mechanics of shapeshifting with objects on/equipped...should I change that?

Luka wears bad@$$ gauntlets...she would 't have been able to punch an armoured creature without them. Those, and her whip are her main weapon...

Admittedly, as usual, I ain't the greatest in moderation...or writing, in general...

It's just that there are two kinds of shapeshifting. One where it is only the person itself. Clothes then get torn up and such (Same with lycanthropy in this rp) and then there is the one that transforms the person plus anything he or she wears. It would've been nice to know which at the beginning

And not to harp on your writing abilities. There are not many painful grammar mistakes.

Though punching a 10 meter centipede with a mouth large enough to tear through a horse. I mean, even with armored gloves. Holy crap. That is like me punching a great white shark with legs and can breathe air armed with a length of barbed wire.
