Personality: Ashton is brave to the point of foolishness, smart to the point of smugness. Raised with the values of a middle-class human teenager, the boy was taught the basic elements of 'right' and 'wrong' but has since learned of the existence of moral grey. But despite learning of moral greys, Ashton is still innocent and naive, and knows it; he knows that he is unprepared to tackle Omega without help. But nevertheless, he is determined to survive and even thrive if given the chance, and eventually pursue his personal objectives...
Backstory: Ashton can remember a life back on Earth, a happy and privileged life with friends and videogames and school. It was uneventful until the Reapers came, and the boy was torn from his roots as he and his parents fled the planet in a hasty evacuation. The next few years were a whirlwind of privations and movements in a refugee convoy, where the boy quickly eluded his parents' attempts to shield him from hardship and found an apprenticeship as a locksmith and programmer, helping make facilities more secure. In time, his mentor, a Batarian outcast nicknamed 'Rigger', began giving him more concrete lessons not just on cyber-security, but security in general.
When the Reaper Invasion ended, Ashton and his parents went back to Earth to rebuild their lives, but he never forgot Rigger. As the young man continued his lessons in security and cybersecurity over the Extranet, he also realized that what can be used to keep intruders and hackers out can be used to let them in. This lesson, though basic, was irrelevant for a time... Until news reached him that Rigger had disappeared into Omega itself. Knowing that his parents, or most of Humanity, would not allow a child to go off alone to rescue a Batarian, Ashton knew he had to arrange his departure from Earth as discreetly as possible.
He then began taking on cyber-security and security jobs over the Extranet, using an anonymous identity: Aegis. As Aegis, he protected several business establishments from hackers and thieves, and even managed to receive a payment from a mid-level bank in exchange for preventing a major heist even before it began. But even as he pocketed the money from these jobs, he was researching Omega, looking for an opportunity to go on a trip to the 'heart of the Terminus Systems'.
Opportunity arrived when one of his uncles who had been seperated from the rest of his family by the Reaper War and subsequent population displacements was reported to have turned up in Illium, and Ashton's father decided to visit his brother and take Ashton with him. Ashton saw it as his chance to slip away and rescue his old mentor. So upon arrival in Illum's spaceport, Ashton carefully slipped away just as his father was distracted by a toilet break, although he did leave behind a moderately-encrypted note saying where he was going and what he was doing.
Evading both police and criminals by a mix of lying, bribery, and taking calculated risks, Ashton slowly made his way towards the Terminus Systems, doing more security and cyber-security jobs as Aegis as he did so. His last operation was to do some work for a PMC Company working in Omega, in the hopes that he can get their services as 'security' in return.
But then his luck ran out. The PMC that he had done work for, and planned to hire, found out that not only was he Aegis himself, but also working alone. And as they were the unscrupulous type of PMC, they planned to enslave him and sell him off to the highest bidder in response. But Ashton, in a fit of justified paranoia, managed to plant a bot in their closed network that notified him that he was going to be kidnapped, and so the young man managed to give his would-be captors the slip... Only to find himself in Omega and without any way to survive much less rescue Rigger. Was this the end for him?
Specialty: Infiltrator
Powers/Skills: Ashton is an expert in security and cyber-security, which translates to hacking, infiltration, and preventing the same things from happening to his side. Although not a good pistol shot or knife user like actual professional infiltrators, Ashton has the brains to compensate for that and is able to act as mission control or a direct agent. He is also reasonably athletic.
Equipment: Civilian attire including a knife-proof vest underneath his clothes, a backpack containing food and water rations, a miniature flashlight that can be used to blind enemies or as a club, meta-material rope, omni-tool and miniature personal computer, and a stolen pistol from the PMC he ran away from.

Cicero has long become used to keeping a low profile; listening intently, concealing his beliefs, avoiding conflict, and speaking only as much as necessary. Coming from a place like the Hegemony to a place like the Terminus, carrying the unusual morals and closet-full of secrets that he does, it wouldn't have made him very popular- or particularly long-lived, had he been more vocal or obvious in his distaste for the status quo.
However, despite his proclivity towards keeping his distance emotionally, physically he comes across as quite friendly; which isn't a total deception. He did used to be quite the easy-going and cheerful kid, but over the years he's used that ease with people as a mask when necessary. Capitalizing on the natural artifice inherent in all Batarians due to the differences in physiology compared to other alien species, Cicero also quickly picked up the mannerisms most common throughout the galaxy, including the fondness for casual touching, partaking in alcoholic drinks, and easy acceptance of overly friendly nicknames, all of which serve to make him more likable as a companion or colleague.
Underneath it all though, shoved deep so he doesn't have to deal with it, there's a hot anger burning. Even born a rich and healthy biotic, practically gifted power in every interpretation of the world from birth, he was still powerless to stand against the wrongs of the galaxy, to change anything or make it better. He'd done small good deeds, managed quiet rebellions, but at the end of the day he'd shoved money at his problems, lied about everything, and run for it. He was angry at his family, his country, angry at the Terminus, it's gangsters, the Council and the Spectres and everyone and everything- especially himself.
He hopes that this latest job will quell the swelling volcano in his chest, that he can actually find something good and fulfilling to accomplish.

Misc: Listed as a missing persons in the Batarian Hegemony. Has a few emergency stashes of cash, but he’s beginning to run low. Often uses the codename Cicero - it used to be Si-Zero, a Batarian letter-number combo, but mingling with so many humans inevitably corrupted it until he accepted the new moniker. He never gives out his last name, or implies in any way he’s from an upper caste, going as far as passing himself off as Mesa caste when he has to.

Jem was born to absurdly rich landed slave-owners on Davan, a Hegemony colony. They were set to become the richest family on the planet and ascend from Cloud caste to Heaven, his sister Ponna was already in the process of being betrothed to a grandson of the Hegemon. Davan itself was a world on the rise; nearly five decades ago the Oran Academy of Mass Technologies was founded, since then becoming reputable school for studying element zero, biotics, and mass effect fields, and only two decades past the Hegemony invested in expanding dockyards over the planet. Davan suffered no less than twelve eezo contaminations in the last century, many of the later ones probably on purpose, and as such the Oran Academy and the Office of Recruitment have had quite a few biotics pass into the fold.
Jem's entire family are biotics, and all have studied at the Oran Academy at one time or another. His parents own a significant portion of the campus, and as such he received most of his education there, but it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. A new batch of slaves arrived to work in the Academy, and one of the new younger ones broke a mug of tea with only Jem as a witness. Fancying himself rather enlightened and above such cruelty as beating a slave, Jem allowed the young Salarian to get away with it, simply taking responsibility for it when a professor came to investigate the sound. The slave, Molan, took that as a cue that they were now friends, and whenever the two were alone or passed each other by, Molan would give bright acknowledgements or cheerful chatter. Until something went wrong.
Mysina was the name of an Asari slave that shared quarters with Molan, and one day Molan came frantically in search of Jem, going as far as to wake him in the middle of the night by barging into his dorm room. Before he knew it he was in the slave quarters with Molan, Mysina, and two other Asari. The other slaves freaked at the sight of him, berating Molan, and one burst into tears, but Mysina was clearly having problems and could hardly focus enough to be aware of his arrival.
It rapidly became apparent she was pregnant, that no one else had caught on to that fact by some miracle, and there was some kind of complication with her contractions. The decision to help them was obvious, and he jumped into action to find a medikit and a medical grade omnitool from one of the science labs. Of course when he blundered into a security officer on the way back, it took some quick thinking and blabbing something about a minorly injured roommate to get him off the hook for being in restricted wings after curfew. He hadn't planned to keep it to himself, he wasn't exactly secretive with his peers about his fondness for Molan, but the severity of what he was doing put him on the spot.
Later he would decide that had definitely been the right choice, as the Asari slaves were forced to trust him and broke protocol to have very serious and frank discussions about what would happen to them all should he tell them about the baby, which led to longer talks about what slavery was actually like without the rose-tinted visors of being the slave-owner, and then further reinforcement where the Asari implied he'd be imprisoned for treason and never heard from again for undermining the values and laws of the Hegemony- a very believable threat, if untrue. The slaves didn't quite grasp just how rich he was and what it meant he could get away with, but that threat was the last straw that set him on his inevitable path.
In order to keep the secret of Rahya, Mysina's new daughter, the slaves needed his help. Eventually everything would fall apart, but for a short time Jem managed to keep it together. Having a secret and going against the rules was actually kind of exciting, but the longer it went on the more frustrated he became with the treatment his tentative friends were forced to endure.
Being of such a reputable caste and his parents’ influence in the Academy granted Jem a bit more leeway than other students, and he transferred mid year to entirely new fields with a radically different end-goal. Previously he’d studied mathematics and engineering, with a heavy focus on designing biotic implants in particular, but suddenly he had new priorities and swapped over to a more medical focus, focusing on the biology and development of biotics, and hiring a professor from Khar’shan to teach him the basics of medical care.
His family sent their children to the Academy purely for the prestige, hardly any of them actually ended up in careers the school was actually specialized for, instead all becoming sponsors, investors, and benefactors, simply handling their money to make more money, but Jem’s aunt Khotia was a core designer in service to the Hegemony, and she encouraged his interests in breaking away from the norm and becoming a doctor.
He was still young when Rahya was revealed, a random inspection of the slave quarters landed all the Asari on a ship to a re education facility for disobedient and willful slaves. Molan, the Salarian boy, was killed when he tried to intervene. Jem didn’t learn of it until hours later in the cafeteria, when some other students were gossiping about the incident. He dropped from school that night and returned to his family’s estate, eventually forgoing his grief and dividing his attention between his new tutors and half-heartedly searching for his friends through the extranet.
He carefully gained the trust of his own family’s slaves, many of whom were better off than the slaves of a lesser caste simply because their estate was so rich and pristine they could afford good working conditions and rewards for good behavior rather than punishments for failures. It didn’t make the practice any better, but it wasn’t as life-threatening and abusive as it might otherwise have been. Eventually one of them gave up the location of a re-education facility they’d been to before, even though they weren’t supposed to talk about them, and Jem was able to hire a hacker to splice a disposable omnitool into the system, from there he found a way to read the resident lists for all associate buildings and, nearly an entire year after the incident, he found a lead on Rahya.
He found her in a Salt caste school for the education of young slaves, and traced her path back to Davan, where he found the records that led him to the location of her mother and the others, luckily all on the same planet of Copril. With his wealth he easily made the necessary connections to fund a bounty on them, with the express orders that they weren’t to come to harm and that they were to be delivered to an escort on Ilium that he bribed to pick them up and return them to Asari space. Unfortunately, just after transfering the credits to bribe a nurse in the Salt caste school, Jem’s father caught on to something going on and vigorously scrutinized his activities for nearly a month, meaning he never got to check in with them after they were free- or even check to see if the plan had succeeded at all, or suffered any complications.
By the time he ascertained that they had at least been liberated from the facilities, the Reapers were appearing in Batarian space. The Academy and the Shipyards were some of the first places to go up, leading to massive eezo leaks that turned whole swathes of the sky a bright blue for weeks, poisoning large amounts of the population. Instead of distributing his estate’s supply of scrubber-masks to the city as his mother directed, he instead left the boxes in their slave dorms, and when a gap in the Reapers’ attack formed in the sky and his father ordered him to prepare their private yacht for a hasty escape, he warned and recruited the slaves to help so they wouldn’t be left behind and forgotten while the rest of his family secured their valuables in the vaults.
They ended up stranded on the space stations over Irune, the Volus homeworld, when the Relays went down, and his father was forced to release their slaves or else be arrested by a Turian patrol, much to the amusement of Jem.
Their inevitable return to their estate on Davan was a relief for most, especially to find only the fields and peripheral plantation complexes were looted and burned and not their more precious valuables in the estate proper, thus allowing them to maintain their wealth- and even advance it. Batarian society was shaken, many of the upper castes had been killed on Khar’shan, caught in the reaper invasion, and Jem’s family was on the short list to become fully fledged members of the Heaven caste, their only faults being the unfinalized marriage into the Hegemon’s direct line and their colony-based upbringing.
Jem couldn’t have cared less though; he’d had his first taste of the cosmopolitan freedom over the world of Irune, and it was a taste he had enjoyed immensely. Hegemony citizens were not allowed to leave Batarian space, and information was strictly controlled, but they were forgiven for their flight given their circumstances, their caste, and the fact that they had come back, even after being exposed to the wonders of the free extranet and all the treasonous ideas and information it held.
At eighteen years old Jem put a bounty on his own head under a pseudonym, and had himself kidnapped by pirates after visiting the library directly next to a spaceport, making it as easy for them as possible. Once outside Hegemony space he turned on his captors, equipping a light collapsible helmet for just this purpose, and using a mass-effect bolt-thrower he’d smuggled in his underwear to blow a hole into space on the bridge, and using the confusion and his mag-boots he ditched his kidnappers and escaped on their shuttle, after putting a few more holes in the corridors.
From there it was a hasty trip to the Terminus systems, and he never looked back.

Their inevitable return to their estate on Davan was a relief for most, especially to find only the fields and peripheral plantation complexes were looted and burned and not their more precious valuables in the estate proper, thus allowing them to maintain their wealth- and even advance it. Batarian society was shaken, many of the upper castes had been killed on Khar’shan, caught in the reaper invasion, and Jem’s family was on the short list to become fully fledged members of the Heaven caste, their only faults being the unfinalized marriage into the Hegemon’s direct line and their colony-based upbringing.
Jem couldn’t have cared less though; he’d had his first taste of the cosmopolitan freedom over the world of Irune, and it was a taste he had enjoyed immensely. Hegemony citizens were not allowed to leave Batarian space, and information was strictly controlled, but they were forgiven for their flight given their circumstances, their caste, and the fact that they had come back, even after being exposed to the wonders of the free extranet and all the treasonous ideas and information it held.
At eighteen years old Jem put a bounty on his own head under a pseudonym, and had himself kidnapped by pirates after visiting the library directly next to a spaceport, making it as easy for them as possible. Once outside Hegemony space he turned on his captors, equipping a light collapsible helmet for just this purpose, and using a mass-effect bolt-thrower he’d smuggled in his underwear to blow a hole into space on the bridge, and using the confusion and his mag-boots he ditched his kidnappers and escaped on their shuttle, after putting a few more holes in the corridors.
From there it was a hasty trip to the Terminus systems, and he never looked back.

She stills struggles with her degeneration and her planted memories, but she has gotten much better since she started. Her origin of birth and her clone-like nature does give her somewhat of an inferiority complex, making her want to stand out and be as expessive and heroic as she is in order to make up for it. However, being an expressive individual, she loves to paint, sing, play music and even garden on her free time, having a love for creating the good things that come in life. She also has a soft spot for children, and is actually pretty good with kids. Whether it would be her inherent immaturity at her age or the planted memories of being a mother, Lokea would never know. With her love of creation and friendly individuals, she has a need to protect these things, a strong protection instinct having grown on her when she fought in the brief but devastating Reaper War. Powers/Skills | Lokea had inherited her powers and skills through the shared mind of the Thorian, most of her offensive capability given to her thanks to Shiala. However, her artistic, farming and tech skills were granted to her from that of the colonists of Zhu's Hope, and she uses these abilities to their fullest extent as well. Thanks to her planted commando training and her experience during the Reaper War and reconstruction, she's pretty effective with her biotic abilities, as well as with assault rifles and handguns. While she's a fantastic biotic, she's nowhere near as powerful as the likes of many heroes the galaxy has to offer. As such, while she can use her biotics for extended periods of time, she'd need to consume a lot of food to do so, as it consumes large amounts of energy from her. Biotic abilities are listed below:
Asari Clone - Thanks to the planted memories given to her, Lokea was able to tap into her natural biotic abilities with ease, and develop her talents over time. The abilities granted to her by the planted memories of the colonists and Shiala granted her skills in firearms, Asari martial arts, farming, technical skills, languages and the like allow her to excel in most combat and non-combat fields with fair to superb proficiency.
Pull - Lokea can use her biotic ability to lift objects and people into the air and towards herself, putting them in a field of weightlessness that harmlessly floats towards her.
Throw - This ability is a basic push that can hurl targets away from her, whether it would be harmlessly or with forceful damage.
Slam - Using the principles of applied force of the above two, Lokea and lift targets up off the ground, and slam them back down into it.
Charge - This culmination of biotic power allows Lokea to 'charge' through objects towards specific targets and individuals, as long as she could see what she is aiming for. She can do small charges and 'glides' with her biotic power, but an offensive charge can allow her to push people with such damaging force that it would throw them back a considerable distance.
Barrier - One of the first abilities that Lokea utilized of her biotics was basic kinetic protection. It acts in the same way kinetic shields would, but with only light focus, it can greatly reduce the effects of any incoming kinetic attacks. This barrier can be broken with enough force, or sustained force.
Biotic Focus - With enough focus, this forceful energy allows Lokea to keep give her additional strength and resistance, protecting her against blunt melee damage, as well as giving her additional strength for other tasks.
Biotic Sphere - This ability creates a defensive sphere around Lokea, allowing her to protect herself and anyone inside. Like the barrier above, this sphere can bring some serious damage protection to any who remain inside of it. With enough force, it can be broken, like an normal barrier.
Equipment | While Lokea would sometimes wear casual clothes, thanks to circumstances, all she has left is a travel bag with said casual clothes, as well as her combat-ready Rosenkov Armor. Her armor, as pictured above in appearance, was given camouflage to help her blend in with most environments, though whether or not it was actually effective Lokea doesn't know. The armor itself can protect her from low-end ballistics, other low-force kinetic attacks and quite a few hazards, though modern military-grade weapons can often pierce through it. Such armor does have several pouches and weapon hardpoints that allow her to carry the below on any given mission.
M-8 Avenger Assault Rifle - This tough, reliable firearm has been a design success, and thanks to its cheap, fast and reliable nature, it was fielded to militaries and militia groups the galaxy over during the Reaper War. Issued to Lokea when she participated in the Nos Astra Freedom Battalion, she used this weapon well, and upgraded it to her liking. Accurate and deadly in single fire mode and devastating in full auto, this weapon has only failed unskilled users.
M-6 Carnifex Handgun - Needing a basic but powerful sidearm to allow quick and easy dispatching of close-ranged targets, Lokea requisitioned a Carnifex for her use as a sidearm. Replacing her M-3 Predator pistol, she fielded the Carnifex for general sidearm use, the powerful gun itself never once having failed her.
Flashbang Grenades - Having specialized in urban warfare, Lokea makes extensive uses of flashbangs when clearing out buildings of reapers and criminals. These handy non-lethal grenades allow her to blind her targets, and quickly clear a room of disoriented combatants, giving her precious time to identify friend from foe, and promptly react.
Thermal Clips - Such thermal clips are only used in emergencies. In extended periods of fire, when Lokea is often using single-shot fire modes, she doesn't use thermal clips, and instead waits for the weapons to cool. However, in the event when the weapon is needed in that moment, she uses the thermal clip to change out the heat sinks and keep firing.
Rangefinder - This rangefinder is a smart scope that allows Lokea to see very far distances, and she has employed it when acting as a spotter for the Nos Astra Freedom Battalion sniper groups.
Omni-Tool Modules
Basic Kinetic Barriers - These basic kinetic barriers, while not military grade, protect from quick attacks, buying Lokea enough time to properly set up a defense or take cover. Said kinetic shield is small and can be concealed in clothing, and while it protects from bullets and explosions, it cannot protect against melee attacks.

Born from the genetic stock of the Asari Commando Shiala, Lokea was created under strange circumstances by the Thorian found on the planet of Feros. While the Thorian exerted its influence and control of the populace of the nearby Zhu's Hope, it created strange green-skinned clones of Shiala in order to speak for it and defend it. While quite a few were deployed when Commander Shepard arrived in search of the conduit, some were stored in sacks for a quick response measure, and deployed some in order to quickly stop Shepard, as the Thorian resisted Shepard's attempts to deal with it. However, Shepard's squad was able to quickly dispatch the clones, the creepers and the nodes that held the Thorian in the building, and because of this, the Thorian was doomed. The Thorian was killed, Shiala and the Zhu's Hope colonists were freed, and Shepard was able to use the conduit as planned, getting closer to Saren.
However, not all of the sacs were destroyed, and not all of the clones were killed. Hours after the incident, Lokea surfaced from one of these sacs, free from the grasp of the Thorian. While she had a mixture of memories given to her by the Thorian when she was created, these memories were all scrambled, all from different minds and different bodies. She struggled to figure out who she was, what her name was, and who to speak for. She struggled to unscramble her thoughts, even as she walked amongst the corpses of the creepers and clones that had fallen in the battle earlier. Once she got hungry, she remembered what needed to be done. Using her commando skills that was granted to her through muscle memory, she managed to stalk and kill quite a few varren with her biotic abilities, finding her innate talents granted to her from Shiala's muscle memory. She wandered around the ruins of Feros for at least a week, attempting in solitude to unscramble her memories, and try to learn who she really was. It wasn't long before she stumbled into an Exogeni salvage crew, who gave her immediate medical attention, and sent her to a proper medical facility in Terra Nova for further treatment and study. She made a full recovery, but medics and eventually scientists were a bit shocked by the developments they found when treating her and examining her.
While all of Lokea's anatomy resembles that of an Asari, her green skin coloration was rather odd, though it was due to the mixed green pigment that came natural with most plants. When asked for a name, Lokea could only come up with many, being that of Shiala, Ian, Fai and many others, matching the records of those who were last recorded as those in Zhu's Hope. The interviewers asked her what she would come up with for herself, and after careful deliberation, Lokea called herself as such, as it meant 'hope' in the Asari language. 'Zhu' was added in as a suggestion, which Lokea took. Careful research and questioning, as well as corroboration with statements given from the colonists and salvage teams, suggested that she was one of the few surviving clones from it, and that she shared a mind with the Thorian. This gave her memories and skills that were possessed by the others (biotics, combat abilities, technical skills, languages, and vague history). While it did give Lokea a head start, she still needed to learn how to figure out which memories were hers and which ones weren't. Further tests have shown that the creation of clones such as herself, while creating a perfectly capable asari with biotic ability, gave them some strange form of accelerated degeneration, with doctors giving Lokea an estimation of about 60 years left to live. After an extended stay at the hospital, with some research done by Alliance scientists, Lokea was given medicine and treatment for her strange degeneration (medicine not normally used for this purpose but ended up helping Lokea regardless), regular doses allowing her to live about to an estimated of 90 years old before her organs fail. To this day, Lokea takes her weekly doses of her medication to keep her degeneration at bay.
Having spent six months at Terra Nova, she learned all about the Battle of the Citadel and Shepard's exploits, as well as the various stories that happened around the galaxy. It took her a while to piece everything together, but she was able to get a decent history of the galaxy and it's denizens in her head, connecting the dots between all of the accounts she had in her mind. Government officials on Terra Nova advised her to travel to an Asari world in order to find better treatment (as almost all of the medical facilities in Terra Nova were human), so Lokea immediately boarded a ship to Illium. She arrived there without incident, and settled down in a poorer neighborhood in Nos Astra. She spent her time on Illium learning about herself and her talents, trying to paint a better, clearer picture of herself from the many planted memories that came with her. She also spent her time using the skills she inherited from these planted memories, perfecting them. These skills were also used to help her with employment as well, having a slightly difficult time adjusting to work life but with a set routine, she was able to get the hang of things. She spent the next two and a half years in Nos Astra working at one of the shipping facilities, using her biotic abilities to help with package handling. She spent her free time tapping into her other talents of gardening, painting and playing musical instruments, learning how to express herself in fun, creative ways. She made quite a few friends in Illium, but that all changed when the Reapers arrived.
Lokea remained on Illium when the Reapers arrived, and when it happened, it was chaos. Lokea, having honed some of her biotic abilities at this point, decided to put them to good use, protecting the few friends she made with her biotic spheres, and forcing the invading reapers back. A local resistance was organized within weeks, and Lokea quickly became an active part of what was known as the Nos Astra Freedom Battalion. Using her skills as a commando to strike hard and strike fast at important enemy installations, she was able to help the Freedom Battalion keep Reaper troops off their planet for a while. Lokea used her time in battle to learn more and more about her biotic potential, finding out new ways to use her abilities. Often times, she would use them for more defensive purposes, but her abilities were effective at bringing troops out of cover and keeping husks at bay. While she enjoyed fighting with her biotic abilities as well as with her assault rifles and pistols, she didn't enjoy seeing what few friends she had perish in the war. Seeing bodies litter the streets, watching friends and loves ones burn away, it only made things worse for her already fragile mental state. In the months ensuing, Lokea continued to fight against the Reapers, until they fell.
All that was left to do was to rebuild. No more fighting, no more suffering, just rebuilding. Taking back what is lost. Lokea spent most her time in the efforts to rebuild Nos Astra with what was left of the Freedom Battalion, trying to cope with the scars that the war left her. While she rebuilt the homes of her own and her loved ones, she grieved with the survivors, and used her biotics to heal the wounds and scars that the Reapers left on the city. When there was nothing left to rebuild, Lokea took some time to revitalize the art that was abandoned during the war, and used her hobbyist skills to help bring back the culture she loved dearly. The art, the music, and the gardens that used to be there, she helped bring back with some of her living friends that she now considered family. Her distinction during the Reaper War and reconstruction within the Nos Astra Freedom Battalion made her a recognized hero of sorts, having used her talents to help the downtrodden. Even after the war was over and during reconstruction, there were still people who never learned, and there were still entities that preyed on the innocent. While the Freedom Battalion downsized since many of its members went home to rebuild, the militia was still an effective fighting force, keeping criminals away from the innocent. Due to the Freedom Battalion interfering with the interests of Nos Astra's corporate elite, the local government forcefully shut down the Freedom Battalion, leaving Lokea without a job. Thanks to being blacklisted in Illium, Lokea had no where else to go, and had no income to keep her medicated, and to keep her home. She sold her home to her friends, and she was rendered homeless for about a few weeks. Things were looking down until she got that fateful message from Saris Fen...

After an extended stay at the hospital, with some research done by Alliance scientists, Lokea was given medicine and treatment for her strange degeneration (medicine not normally used for this purpose but ended up helping Lokea regardless), regular doses allowing her to live about to an estimated of 90 years old before her organs fail. To this day, Lokea takes her weekly doses of her medication to keep her degeneration at bay.
Having spent six months at Terra Nova, she learned all about the Battle of the Citadel and Shepard's exploits, as well as the various stories that happened around the galaxy. It took her a while to piece everything together, but she was able to get a decent history of the galaxy and it's denizens in her head, connecting the dots between all of the accounts she had in her mind. Government officials on Terra Nova advised her to travel to an Asari world in order to find better treatment (as almost all of the medical facilities in Terra Nova were human), so Lokea immediately boarded a ship to Illium. She arrived there without incident, and settled down in a poorer neighborhood in Nos Astra. She spent her time on Illium learning about herself and her talents, trying to paint a better, clearer picture of herself from the many planted memories that came with her. She also spent her time using the skills she inherited from these planted memories, perfecting them. These skills were also used to help her with employment as well, having a slightly difficult time adjusting to work life but with a set routine, she was able to get the hang of things. She spent the next two and a half years in Nos Astra working at one of the shipping facilities, using her biotic abilities to help with package handling. She spent her free time tapping into her other talents of gardening, painting and playing musical instruments, learning how to express herself in fun, creative ways. She made quite a few friends in Illium, but that all changed when the Reapers arrived.
Lokea remained on Illium when the Reapers arrived, and when it happened, it was chaos. Lokea, having honed some of her biotic abilities at this point, decided to put them to good use, protecting the few friends she made with her biotic spheres, and forcing the invading reapers back. A local resistance was organized within weeks, and Lokea quickly became an active part of what was known as the Nos Astra Freedom Battalion. Using her skills as a commando to strike hard and strike fast at important enemy installations, she was able to help the Freedom Battalion keep Reaper troops off their planet for a while. Lokea used her time in battle to learn more and more about her biotic potential, finding out new ways to use her abilities. Often times, she would use them for more defensive purposes, but her abilities were effective at bringing troops out of cover and keeping husks at bay. While she enjoyed fighting with her biotic abilities as well as with her assault rifles and pistols, she didn't enjoy seeing what few friends she had perish in the war. Seeing bodies litter the streets, watching friends and loves ones burn away, it only made things worse for her already fragile mental state. In the months ensuing, Lokea continued to fight against the Reapers, until they fell.
All that was left to do was to rebuild. No more fighting, no more suffering, just rebuilding. Taking back what is lost. Lokea spent most her time in the efforts to rebuild Nos Astra with what was left of the Freedom Battalion, trying to cope with the scars that the war left her. While she rebuilt the homes of her own and her loved ones, she grieved with the survivors, and used her biotics to heal the wounds and scars that the Reapers left on the city. When there was nothing left to rebuild, Lokea took some time to revitalize the art that was abandoned during the war, and used her hobbyist skills to help bring back the culture she loved dearly. The art, the music, and the gardens that used to be there, she helped bring back with some of her living friends that she now considered family. Her distinction during the Reaper War and reconstruction within the Nos Astra Freedom Battalion made her a recognized hero of sorts, having used her talents to help the downtrodden. Even after the war was over and during reconstruction, there were still people who never learned, and there were still entities that preyed on the innocent. While the Freedom Battalion downsized since many of its members went home to rebuild, the militia was still an effective fighting force, keeping criminals away from the innocent. Due to the Freedom Battalion interfering with the interests of Nos Astra's corporate elite, the local government forcefully shut down the Freedom Battalion, leaving Lokea without a job. Thanks to being blacklisted in Illium, Lokea had no where else to go, and had no income to keep her medicated, and to keep her home. She sold her home to her friends, and she was rendered homeless for about a few weeks. Things were looking down until she got that fateful message from Saris Fen...
Specialty | Biotic Commando / Vanguard
Powers/Skills | Lokea had inherited her powers and skills through the shared mind of the Thorian, most of her offensive capability given to her thanks to Shiala. However, her artistic, farming and tech skills were granted to her from that of the colonists of Zhu's Hope, and she uses these abilities to their fullest extent as well. Thanks to her planted commando training and her experience during the Reaper War and reconstruction, she's pretty effective with her biotic abilities, as well as with assault rifles and handguns. While she's a fantastic biotic, she's nowhere near as powerful as the likes of many heroes the galaxy has to offer. As such, while she can use her biotics for extended periods of time, she'd need to consume a lot of food to do so, as it consumes large amounts of energy from her. Biotic abilities are listed below:
Asari Clone - Thanks to the planted memories given to her, Lokea was able to tap into her natural biotic abilities with ease, and develop her talents over time. The abilities granted to her by the planted memories of the colonists and Shiala granted her skills in firearms, Asari martial arts, farming, technical skills, languages and the like allow her to excel in most combat and non-combat fields with fair to superb proficiency. Pull - Lokea can use her biotic ability to lift objects and people into the air and towards herself, putting them in a field of weightlessness that harmlessly floats towards her. Throw - This ability is a basic push that can hurl targets away from her, whether it would be harmlessly or with forceful damage. Slam - Using the principles of applied force of the above two, Lokea and lift targets up off the ground, and slam them back down into it. Charge - This culmination of biotic power allows Lokea to 'charge' through objects towards specific targets and individuals, as long as she could see what she is aiming for. She can do small charges and 'glides' with her biotic power, but an offensive charge can allow her to push people with such damaging force that it would throw them back a considerable distance. Barrier - One of the first abilities that Lokea utilized of her biotics was basic kinetic protection. It acts in the same way kinetic shields would, but with only light focus, it can greatly reduce the effects of any incoming kinetic attacks. This barrier can be broken with enough force, or sustained force. Biotic Focus - With enough focus, this forceful energy allows Lokea to keep give her additional strength and resistance, protecting her against blunt melee damage, as well as giving her additional strength for other tasks. Biotic Sphere - This ability creates a defensive sphere around Lokea, allowing her to protect herself and anyone inside. Like the barrier above, this sphere can bring some serious damage protection to any who remain inside of it. With enough force, it can be broken, like an normal barrier.Equipment | While Lokea would sometimes wear casual clothes, thanks to circumstances, all she has left is a travel bag with said casual clothes, as well as her combat-ready Rosenkov Armor. Her armor, as pictured above in appearance, was given camouflage to help her blend in with most environments, though whether or not it was actually effective Lokea doesn't know. The armor itself can protect her from low-end ballistics, other low-force kinetic attacks and quite a few hazards, though modern military-grade weapons can often pierce through it. Such armor does have several pouches and weapon hardpoints that allow her to carry the below on any given mission.
M-8 Avenger Assault Rifle - This tough, reliable firearm has been a design success, and thanks to its cheap, fast and reliable nature, it was fielded to militaries and militia groups the galaxy over during the Reaper War. Issued to Lokea when she participated in the Nos Astra Freedom Battalion, she used this weapon well, and upgraded it to her liking. Accurate and deadly in single fire mode and devastating in full auto, this weapon has only failed unskilled users. M-6 Carnifex Handgun - Needing a basic but powerful sidearm to allow quick and easy dispatching of close-ranged targets, Lokea requisitioned a Carnifex for her use as a sidearm. Replacing her M-3 Predator pistol, she fielded the Carnifex for general sidearm use, the powerful gun itself never once having failed her. Flashbang Grenades - Having specialized in urban warfare, Lokea makes extensive uses of flashbangs when clearing out buildings of reapers and criminals. These handy non-lethal grenades allow her to blind her targets, and quickly clear a room of disoriented combatants, giving her precious time to identify friend from foe, and promptly react.
Thermal Clips - Such thermal clips are only used in emergencies. In extended periods of fire, when Lokea is often using single-shot fire modes, she doesn't use thermal clips, and instead waits for the weapons to cool. However, in the event when the weapon is needed in that moment, she uses the thermal clip to change out the heat sinks and keep firing.
Rangefinder - This rangefinder is a smart scope that allows Lokea to see very far distances, and she has employed it when acting as a spotter for the Nos Astra Freedom Battalion sniper groups.
Omni-Tool Modules
Medigel/Healing Module - This omni-tool module allows her to perform basic first aid easily on any wounded victims. While it doesn't cure them, it can buy wounded victims enough time to get proper help.
Basic Hacking Module - Also known as the "Advanced Communications Module", this module allows Lokea to hack into anything that has the most basic of protection, ranging from wireless audio devices to basic locks.

Said kinetic shield is small and can be concealed in clothing, and while it protects from bullets and explosions, it cannot protect against melee attacks.
Misc | Lokea also has some other aspects to her that should be taken into consideration.
• Her time in the Nos Astra Freedom Battalion, while earning her quite a few friends, has also earned many enemies amongst pirates, mercenaries and other criminal factions. Her green countenance is almost unmistakable, and now that the Freedom Battalion was shut down, Lokea is all alone.
• While Lokea regularly takes her medication to help her live her life normally, it has the side effects of making her memory a little foggy. Without her medication, however, her biotics are a little more unstable, she feels pain in various parts of her body from it just naturally falling apart, and she couldn't eat certain foods without vomiting. Lokea's biology with natural plant genes creates some incompatibility within her body, and thanks to this, she is infertile and unable to reproduce. Alexis is friendly enough, if you don't mind the fact she's about as delicate as a drunk Krogan. Speaks her mind, has little love for protocol and regulations, and can generally be defined as a wild card in anything she does. Reckless, a bit competitive and thinks she's the hottest thing on two legs. Don't expect her to confine herself to the back lines. Doesn't like being insulted or yanked around by people.
That said, she's a good sport and tends to laugh off most things, even if someone makes fun of her, just expect a jab back. Generally keeps things casual and loose, and spends most of her free time tinkering with tech be it guns, robotics, or occasionally messing with a FTL drive. Cinnis functions as an extension of Alexis' own combat abilities. It can manifest in this way as a functional combat drone that harasses enemies or helps with remotely hacking enemy machines or doors, though often only functions as a distraction. The Combat turrets are linked with itself and it fires more precise, mechanical rounds. It has some control over her lesser brain functions, such as the administering of certain brain chemicals.
It should be noted the AI has no wireless functions outside of the above, and is entirely confined to Alexis unless physically linked with another machine or Alexis allows it through the use of her Omni-tool.

Alexis' backstory would ideally be started with her parents. One, a now retired Mercenary by the name of Katherine, the other a Multi-billionaire businessman by the name of David Sinclair.
Katherine, a former Eclipse mercenary for over thirty years. Racked up quite the reputation among her peers as a woman that could get the job done. With her hefty use of biotics and ruthless nature she made quite the name for herself...and quite the number of enemies, as one could imagine. Her career came to an end however, when she was shot and presumed dead after being betrayed by some snitch.
Her dad, was a businessman from the Citadel, an overall upstanding and morally righteous of a person as one could be. The only reason he had occasionally hired Eclipse - her moms squad specifically was because he could respect their discretion and ruthless nature...and well, he might have had a thing for her. It was during one of his jobs on searching for some sketchy data on one of his business rivals who conveniently started getting some hefty sums of money from somewhere was she snitched on.
Luckily for her, she was saved by David, given a new identity and the two settled down together and had a daughter - Alexis. By all means, she was nothing special, aside from a bit of fun with hacktivism. Hacking was only a side job - her real passion laid in robotics and from an early age she was tinkering with them.
In the end, the Reaper War passed, Commander Shepard saved the day.

All they requested from the wealthy businessman was backing - and they'd save his daughter for almost nothing.
With no other options, her dad accepted their deal.

Some sort of AI human Hybridization using some salvaged and re-purposed reaper tech to create a form of super soldier aided by a completely subservient AI to aid with aim, monitor vitals, and other such applications.
The procedure did well. Extremely so. Alexis adapted to her implants very quickly, aside from suffering severe migraines occasionally she was able to function as a well as anyone else. More so, even, with the AI monitoring her vitals and having some limited control over motor functions, as well as some brain activity. Of course, the Cell was eager to get their hands on both her talents, and her new abilities for further testing.

A rather basic Tech skill that fires a high explosive plasma round at an enemy from her Omni-Tool. Highly volatile and could potentially cause some explosive shenanigans. Works best on armored enemies and organics, less so on shields.

A skill that overloads electronics, shields, and barriers by hacking and disabling them. Not so great against fleshy organics, but incredibly devastating to anything remotely synthetic.
- Cryo Blast
Fires a super cooled mass of subatomic particles that flash freezes an enemy. Does no damage on its own, but incredibly useful in a support capacity. Following it up by blasting someone with an explosion.
- Combat Drone

Its mostly designed to be a personal medical AI that monitors her vitals and keeps her body and her implants running.
In theory. It's quite the dry and sarcastic twit that likes bothering people and often complains about the woes of being confined to a fleshy prison.

Cinnis functions as an extension of Alexis' own combat abilities. It can manifest in this way as a functional combat drone that harasses enemies or helps with remotely hacking enemy machines or doors, though often only functions as a distraction. The Combat turrets are linked with itself and it fires more precise, mechanical rounds. It has some control over her lesser brain functions, such as the administering of certain brain chemicals.
It should be noted the AI has no wireless functions outside of the above, and is entirely confined to Alexis unless physically linked with another machine or Alexis allows it through the use of her Omni-tool.

Backstory: Flame was born to Red-Sand Addicts who sold him to pirates for a sum of money. Manifesting Biotic powers early in his youth, the boy was given his implants in an unsafe age, and it was only due to pure luck that he survived and even avoided the constant pain most Biotics suffer due to their modifications. Nevertheless, as he had a control device implanted in his head at the same time, life was miserable for him, especially as the pirates kept using him to move cargo around or loaned him for 'construction projects'; they rightly feared what would happen if he were taught to fight. Nevertheless, as he grew older, Flame dreamt of freedom.
Opportunity came two years ago, when the pirates kidnapped a Batarian Noble with a bounty on his head. Said Batarian clearly had other plans than being held for ransom, and used a hidden weapon to blast their ship's bridge to pieces, turning off the 'keys' to the control device in Flame's head. Now, the boy, fourteen then, led a revolt with the other slaves in the ship and took out the remaining pirates and threw them out of the airlocks. Then, as the increasingly-damaged ship became incapable of flight, one of the other slaves managed to turn on the distress beacon and contact the Systems Alliance.
After rescue, Flame was initially treated well, before he was confronted with the discrimination against Biotics that still existed in Systems Alliance space. This got in the way of Flame's continuing rehabilitation and therapy, before he ran away once more, ran away from his abusive foster family and non-understanding 'psychiatric help'. Feeling betrayed by the system, he went back to the lawless regions of the Galaxy, planning to make a living as an Adept.
But not after acquiring two things; one, a rudimentary education and access to more due to his access to the extranet, and two, a nagging feeling that the Batarian Noble from long ago had nobler motives than expected...

Backstory:Alya has the honor of being an exile from the Flotilla. She was a general nuisance for her fellow Quarians, being an irritating trickster at heart along with stealing tech or objects from other Quarians to tinker with. Eventually her escapades came to a head with the rest of the Fleet when she mistakenly caused a small explosion on one of the liveships. Luckily it was contained rather quickly but due to several quarians being injured and the potential risk and devastating effects that could of happened if the liveship had been lost, she was put on trial and gave her a one way ticket off ship in her late teens (much to everyone’s relief). Not that it bothered her much, since she practically asked for it and cares little for her own people and the Flotilla. Why should she care for people who to her seemed more like cowards then anything else.
Following the exile, Alya managed to hitch a ride to Illium alone and homeless and in desperate need of work. Luckily, it wasn’t long before she got help from a sympathetic quarian, who landed her a spot on the Dire'Sila when it was in dire need of repairs for cheap. In exchange for the repairs and continuous management, she was allowed to stay on board and have somewhere to live. She would learn over time that the Dire'Sila crew dealt it less savory matters then normal trade goods. Their usual bounties put them in a gray area of the law in the system which had Alya learning how to use weaponry to be able to aid the crew when things went worst then expected.
Eventually though she decided to move on leaving her home aboard the Dire'Sila (along with a handful of tools and objects from her ex-crew members) and taking a small ship of her own named the Halla. She began to advertise herself as a mercenary to help afford her repairs of the Halla and supplies. She learned a trick or two on the Dire'Sila that she saw she could put to use, for the right few. Over years she was able to hone her skills while also being able to indulge in her hobby of sketching and tinkering with various forms of tech. While now the Quarian homeworld has been retaken, she has no desire to return to her people, let alone the fact that they no doubt wouldn't want her back either. She is content with her life as a mercenary.

Not the typical person you'd take for a military man, Robert is relaxed and approachable almost always with a look of mischief spread across his face. He is a deeply caring and emotional person who wears his heart on his sleeve. He likes to go out and enjoy himself when time allows for it and is a very social person. With extended downtime he travels the galaxy looking to find the best vistas and views the Milky Way has to offer.
Where there were conflicts amongst races and grudges held prior to the Reaper invasion, Rob has no issues with any other race and keeps friends from all over the galaxy. He can work with anyone when required and will always look to take the friendly approach with others.
When it comes to his job however, he is entirely focussed and efficient at what he does. He commands respect and has an aura about him that makes others feel confident in themselves and the mission being undertaken. The jokes and banter he revels in is left behind and makes way for the precise and effective leadership his position requires. He will happily throw himself into the firing line to save a squadmate or civilian. He has a lot of confidence in his own talents and skillset that should not be mistaken for cockiness. He knows his strengths and even more so his weaknesses.
BACKSTORY ————————————————————————————
Some people are born with everything given to them, others have to crawl through the muck just to give themselves an outside chance of success. Robert very much comes from the latter category. He was born in a slum in London to two drug addicted parents and it was a miracle that he survived child birth. Before his fifth birthday he was rescued after his parents were found overdosed on a park bench. This meant Rob ended up going through the foster care system for the next ten years.
The system was flawed and unfortunately the young lad was passed around from family to family, so much so that he had no appreciation for himself or others. He descended into a life of criminal activity that ranged from petty theft up to burglary. A week before his eighteenth birthday he was finally arrested and the judge made him an offer. Either go to prison or join the military. The judge had seen his history and took pity on his poor start to life. Robert reluctantly joined the Alliance military.
The initial few months were difficult both for him and for those training him. Several altercations are listed in his file and one report called for his immediate imprisonment. Fortunately for him the call for imprisonment was ignored and he was allowed to complete basic training. By time he had finished his training he had an epiphany and that was that he had finally found somewhere he called home. He was surrounded by people who supported him and wanted the best for him as well as having a place to lay his head at night.
The years that followed sent him from colony to colony on peacekeeping and anti-piracy duty, seeing some small skirmishes in his service. He progressed through the ranks and classifications the Alliance had to offer and coveted the longed for rank of N7. He was more than qualified and from his service more than proved himself, however the person who had filed the report calling for his imprisonment couldn't forget his early days of training. Using his more senior position he did all he could to stop Rob from becoming an N7 operative.
Unfortunately for Rob he never had the opportunity as the Reaper Invasion soon changed everything. He was on shore leave at the time the Reapers invaded, just outside of London. He could see the destruction from miles away, the giant silhouettes of the machines easily seen in the cloudless sky. Suffice to say shore leave was cancelled and Robert found himself in the midst of the Battle for London. For the entirety of the Reaper invasion he was in London trying to do what he could to hold the Reaper threat. Fortunately for him, Shepard eventually achieved what was assumed to be the unachieveable...the defeat of the Reapers.
In the aftermath Robert continued on in the Alliance military for a short while until it became clear that the Terminus Systems were devolving even further into heavy piracy. He held no hope of achieving his goal of becoming an N7 operative and so decided to venture out into the Terminus to try and do what he could to help protect the innocent out there.
Since arriving in the Terminus Systems he acts as a vigilante and private investigator on Omega. He has a very strong moral compass towards those who cannot defend themselves but will quite happily kill a merc without a second thought.

He was soon picked up by an elder Turian and was taught how to build and make stuff work with surprisingly little parts. He picked up the habit of tinkering all the time, and througout space he learned by himself, and became known for his craftiness. Along his travels he aqcuired a pet bird named Ethen, she's a rather cute bird. (See the bird on the left in Appearance.) He then was called on for an offer, an offer to protect others... Believing that he is the fiercest Krogan in the Galaxies, Drex fears nothing; in return, he can find himself in over his a head bit at times. Drex is a brutal killer, preferring to use his Spike Throw to disable his enemies, so he can finish them off with a brutal, brunt beating to the death using his Krogan Hammer. Drex has been known to cripple his enemies, and then using his Krogan Hammer in a fierce horizontal swing, to knock his enemies' heads right off of their bodies. If you're looking to prove stereotypes wrong by trying to make friends with a Krogan, Drex is not the Krogan you want to meet.

Drex was most known for fierce combat with his Krogan Hammer. Drex feared nothing except the thought of not being the last thing that his enemies saw, before his smashed their skulls to dust with his Krogan Hammer. Drex would come to find a love of the Graal Spike Thrower, and learn to use it well. This made decapitating his enemies all the easier, as he could just immobilize them with his Spike Thrower, and then have his way with whatever kind of brutality he saw was fitting for his weaker opponent. Taria hails from the planet Tremellia, a moderately urbanized and unusually cosmopolitan world for a Turian planet, best known for its shipyards and docks, built to capitalize on the planet's location in several important interstellar trade routes. Her family was moderately well-off, with her father serving as station security at the dockyard and her mother serving as a pilot in the merchant marine. Her home life was happy if a little uneventful, and while she was never the brightest or most popular kid around, she had a good head on her shoulders and a few close friends growing up. Things became interesting for her shortly before her tenth birthday, however, when she began to manifest biotic abilities, most likely gifted by her mother's exposure to Element Zero during a turbulent landing on one of her many trips. While most Turian children would have been whisked away to special academies that honed their abilities, Taria's parents were able to get training for their daughter far closer to home, thanks in part to biotic facilities set up on Tremellia to accommodate other races. While most Turians found biotics to be suspect, Taria was fascinated with her own biotic abilities and took to that training like a fish to water, and by the time she came of age she was an accomplished biotic ready to depart on her civil service tour.
Initially slated to be sent to a Turian Cabal, the recent assault on the Citadel by the rogue Spectre Saren caused a manpower shortage, and thanks a bit of influence from her parents and her unique status as a biotic Turian not segregated into a special unit, she was accepted into C-Sec despite her inexperience. Taria quickly proved her mettle despite her lack of training, and she was shuffled into the Special Response Division of C-Sec where her biotics proved very useful, and given further training and experience in dealing with explosives and heavy weaponry. Often given a hard time by other Turians in C-Sec because of her biotics, Taria remained steadfastly devoted to her duty regardless, making friends and serving with distinction even after she lost her father during the Reaper invasion of 2186 when Tremellia was assaulted.
As things calmed down and the galaxy tried to return to normal following the Reapers, Taria's rising star suddenly came crashing down to Earth, as the saying goes. Incidents that were glossed over during the ongoing emergency came back to light and investigations began, one of which involved an incident involving the C-Sec officer Boone Croswell that left five innocents dead on the Promenade. Croswell, who liked to use his position to shake down criminals and small-time mercenaries and had a cabal of like-minded officers at his side, attempted to weasel his way out of trouble by pinning the blame on his colleague Venok Irlam, a Salarian in Special Response Division, and decided he would do this by threatening his adjutant who the Salarian had mentored since her transferal to C-Sec, and the one person who could easily convince Investigations that Venok was at fault; Taria Lucimus.
Knowing of her dedication, Boone settled on blackmail to earn the biotic Turian's loyalty, planting evidence of corrupt conduct and gathering his own friends and a handful of Turians who didn't like the idea of a biotic Turian on the force to corroborate the evidence, making it clear in no uncertain terms that if she didn't send Venok Irlam to jail, Taria would be going instead. Initially cowed by this threat, it was ultimately not enough to corrupt her, and when called on to present evidence of her CO's culpability Taria instead gave an impassioned statement in favor of the Salarian's conduct and character. Venok Irlam was cleared of all charges, and although Boone would ultimately be dismissed from C-Sec without further penalty after his own investigation was inconclusive, his colleagues carried out his threat and Taria was unceremoniously discharged from Citadel Security and sentenced to fifteen years in prison.
Despite being humiliated and degraded throughout the whole ordeal, she held her head high in the belief that she had done the right thing, and went to serve her sentence with dignity. Even jail did not break her determination, instead refining instilling in her a desire to seek justice where the law failed, not unlike another Turian C-Sec officer who left when the law stymied his own pursuit of what was right. Planning her life after prison, Taria bided her time, visited only by her mother who never believed she was guilty of the crime she was imprisoned for, and by Venok Irlam, the commanding officer who she had saved from injustice.
A third of the way into her sentence, she was visited again by Venok Irlam, this time accompanied by a small squadron, revealing that her prison sentence had been commuted. Whisking a confused Taria away from the prison, Venok dismissed the guards and revealed a stash of weapons, equipment, and cash for her to use, explaining that he had been contacted by a Volus from Omega, who had been looking for recruits for a special mission in the terminus system. Already close to retirement, Venok felt like he was too past his prime for such a group and instead suggested Taria for the job, and the Volus had been more then happy to grease a few palms to get the biotic Turian out early. When she hesitated, Venok explained to her that the offer had only been optional, but said that someone like her was too good for C-Sec, a career she happily sacrificed to keep an innocent Salarian from injustice, and in return that Salarian wanted to offer her a chance to bring justice to those that the law had failed.

Even jail did not break her determination, instead refining instilling in her a desire to seek justice where the law failed, not unlike another Turian C-Sec officer who left when the law stymied his own pursuit of what was right. Planning her life after prison, Taria bided her time, visited only by her mother who never believed she was guilty of the crime she was imprisoned for, and by Venok Irlam, the commanding officer who she had saved from injustice.
A third of the way into her sentence, she was visited again by Venok Irlam, this time accompanied by a small squadron, revealing that her prison sentence had been commuted. Whisking a confused Taria away from the prison, Venok dismissed the guards and revealed a stash of weapons, equipment, and cash for her to use, explaining that he had been contacted by a Volus from Omega, who had been looking for recruits for a special mission in the terminus system. Already close to retirement, Venok felt like he was too past his prime for such a group and instead suggested Taria for the job, and the Volus had been more then happy to grease a few palms to get the biotic Turian out early. When she hesitated, Venok explained to her that the offer had only been optional, but said that someone like her was too good for C-Sec, a career she happily sacrificed to keep an innocent Salarian from injustice, and in return that Salarian wanted to offer her a chance to bring justice to those that the law had failed.
Taria found that offer just too good to resist.

The daughter of an Asari Commando and a Exiled female Quarian, Seldina grew up on Illium and was scared of the people as there always seemed to be someone or something that felt out of place as everyone seemed to regard her parents with great distain. It unknown what exactly happen but by the time she was 5, both her parents were killed in gun fight.
Left without anyone, Seldina turned to thievery until she was 14 when she was caught trying to steal from the group known as Eclipse.
She was captured and it's known they were ready to torture her in revenge but her hidden biotic powers emerged as she blew a hole in the middle of their base killing her would be tormentors in the progress, Eclipse once again called for her blood but were silenced when the one of Eclipse captain took the young girl under her wing to train her to become an agent of Eclispe.
For 60 years, Seldina trained under Eclipse, learning to master her biotic powers and her technical prowess which was far superior to that of the other members, due to her Quarian heritage, the commander of Eclipse is said to have taken a very special intrest in the young Asari and oversaw her induction into Eclipse as well as training her in the art of being an Asari Commando as the two woman grew very close eventally seeing each other as surrogate sisters. Seldina rose though the ranks of Eclipse quickly and remain a member for many years, her reputation and powers growing stronger all the time.
Eventally, said command would send Seldina to Omega to help with a growing threat there. As she worked under an Eclipse member there, she became increasing dissatisfied with the way he was running thing's and abandoned him. However, news got back to Eclipse and they turned on Seldina including the commander who had become Seldina surrogate sister.
Now betrayed by someone who she had loved like family, Seldina finally unleashed her full power destroying many of Eclipse's soldiers and fled for the one place she never though she would return, Illium.
This time was different though, she was an experienced warrior and she began to hire out her services as an Assassin for hire. No job would be too hard or too far, she was committed to her job, she began to use the natural Asari charm to bend people to her will, to put targets at ease before killing them or being able to snipe a target with ease. She gained credits to be able to purchase better weapon or better gear. She was even able to buy a high end house of Illium.
By the time, she was 106, Seldina reputation as a great assassin caught the attention of the Shadow Broker. She found herself meeting with an agent of the Shadow Broker who wished for her to keep tabs on an Asari woman and to take her out if she became a threat, they offered her millions in credits to take on the job, so she did and she began to watch and observe this woman.
One night, during her observation, Seldina began to notice some parallel's between her and her target. Both woman were strong confident woman who both seen to have loved and lost. Seldina became iffuctuated with this woman and wanted to learn more about this woman so against her better judgement, she introduced herself to the asari one day and from then on, the two women became fast friends.
It eventally became clear to Seldina that she could no longer in good mind, keep spying on her friend for the Shadow Broker so she began to do her own study on finding the location of the Shadow Broker base. Though her own studies, she found the Shadow Broker base and infiltrated it, ready to end or trap the Shadow Broker. It's unknown what events transpired after that, as Seldina will not revile anything apart from the fact that she had the offer of a lifetime and choose not to turn it down.
Since then, Seldina has worked as an agent of the Shadow Broker, carry out all kinds of missions for her new boss though her roots still lay in assassination so she often kills high threat targets or defecting Shadow Broker Spy's.
