Definitely a WIP, but I wanted to get this up to show progress

Below are some comments on the CS' posted so far, even the WIP. Nobody is accepted yet but for awareness i'm really happy with the variation between the real world players and their avatar alter-ego's. Very strong collection of characters so far.

@Hellion I really like the idea. I just want to make clear that hacking in The Universe is entirely impossible. However there is still an internet, corporate networks etc so she can utilise her skills in those areas. Love the avatar (Mass Effect fans are welcome ).

• Decoy: My character has a similar ability and it is listed as Common. The rest of the items seem good.

@Vocab solid character you've created here. The only thing i'd say is the limit for weapons is meant to be three but as long as you make clear what you have during each "mission" then its not so much an issue. Also, in terms of the Shaed, i'm entirely unfamiliar with the books. Just so I understand it has the capability to reduce damage and turn her invisible? If she makes herself invisible, as in she's covered head to toe, can she still operate weapons or abilities?

@CaptainSully Oof, Didn't realise that there was an intended weapon limit, I just went on the supposed impression that they had a fairly sized inventory, so it made sense to carry a fair number of weapons. Glad it's not an issue.

As for the Shaed, Yeah, it reduces damage and grants invisibility in darkness, though I had intended to alter a part but completely forgot to. The invisibility portion has been properly rewritten to be a bit clearer on its actual function. In the books, the MC survives what should have been a fatal stab with only a shallow cut, and is able to sneak past a group of trained bandits easily.

Hope that sorts things out.

Oh no, the IG "hacking" I had in mind for my avatar is similar to how Sombra handles hacking in Overwatch. Essentially, debuffing mobs, bosses, turrets, etc. Definitely a "strike from the shadows" style of play. She will also be the kind of "support" character who can slip in and out of heavily secured areas undetected using the abilities she has :)

Just think of her as the love child of Kasumi and Sombra

Gosh that took me forever.

I’ll probably make some changes to my app later today, I kinda want to go back to the first one I made a bit, so it’s not gonna chance all too much.

@CaptainSully Do TV Shows and Movies still exist as a popular entertainment medium, or has it all be taken over by The Universe? I had an idea for a character who was a child actor, living in the spotlight for most of his life, who uses The Universe as an escape, because he's gotten sick of all the attention. But, I'm not sure how viable that concept actually is within this world...

@Zaxter996 well there would be both virtual and real world movies but primarily only in the upper levels of the real world. Also keep in mind the minimum character age allowed is 18.

@CaptainSully Yeah, my idea was that he was a child actor, and now even though he's older, he's still very much in the public eye, so he uses The Universe to escape from all that. Do you think that's plausible or nah?

Alright cool. I've gotta sleep, because it's 4 in the morning, but I'll do my best to get my CS in by the deadline.

Alrighty, I made my changes and edited the app I had posted. Basically, I just kept this one mostly intact, but I took elements from my first app from the interest check. Mainly just the appearance and name of my character lol.
