As facinated as I am by D&D and my multiple horrible attempts at trying to figure out how character sheets work, my lack of moolah for irl manuals and such all combine to make a poorly informed, starry eyed 21 year old who has never so much as held a D20 let alone felt the horror/thrill of rolling a nat 1 or 20.
I know a few terms and basic things, though that's just from peicing together things from D&D greentexts and animated YouTube videos. I might just be as noobish as it gets around here when it comes to D&D while still knowing what it is.
My entire point is... Any DM or small parties open to somebody joining and trying to learn? I've always enjoyed playing supportive roles when it matters, so I guess depending on the situation I would try my hand at rolling a cleric or druid.
