Name: Freya Takahashi
Age: 18
Appearance: A natural platinum blonde with a single gray eye, Freya stands at a staggering 187cm of height with a toned build, and she would have been an statuesque beauty with an aura of radiance if it wasn't by the multiple burnt and disfiguring scars all over her body (she is even missing an eye) that she usually tries to cover with sombre accesories, sleeves and hairstyles all over her uniform. For that very reason, she is also fond of hoodies and in general sleeved clothes, trousers and boots.
Mana Crystal: A prosthetic left eye, which is not that distinguishable from her actual eye. It becomes blue once active and shines under the eyepatch when using magic.
Virtue: Wisdom- The ability to make a correct judgement, and to sort between what is good and bad. Freya has a keen intellect, and maturity beyond what her physical age might imply.
Magic: Eye of the Mind: Freya lost her left eye, but when her magical powers awakened, she gained a new sense to make up for that. Eye of the Mind is like a keen sixth sense that allows her to react to incoming threats more efficiently and give her a sense of premonition to feel when something is "off".
Primum non nocere: Freya's powers are more focused towards healing, and she can heal all but the most grievous wounds by applying a touch and magic on a friendly target. This can also be used to dispel any kind of noxious vice influence, but the cost is proportional to the gravity of the affliction.
Pulvis et Umbra: Freya's insight allow her to catch on specific weaknesses or weak points faster when examining targets, and she can throw small magical knives at them with great accuracy. This makes her able to exploit those weaknesses for her or her allies' benefit (By tagging them with a knife).
History: Freya was born in a mixed ancestry family as the eldest of three siblings. Daughter of a doctor who was a bit too much in norse mythology and a physiotherapist, she was always a girl of slightly strange tastes. Nevertheless, her grades were rather good, and it seemed she was on the way to inherit the prowess of her father and follow him in the path of medicine. Freya also learnt rather quickly to put her selfish and bratty whims aside and aid her mother to rein in her more rambuctious siblings. However, she was very aware that this did make a boring social life, despite the fact that her name and blonde features had created a "cold beauty" legend among middle schoolers. She was also popular among the budding sport practitioners as she had picked up a trick or two from the household.
The accident, however, changed things forever. During a mortal car crash where her parents took the worst of the brunt and died almost immediatedly, Freya sustained horrific wounds including the loss of her left eye while trying to extract her younger siblings from the burning car wreck. Her fast thinking allowed to save them, but she would remain forever scarred. Freya's uncle and aunt then decided to send her younger siblings back to Europe, but the bedridden Freya would have to endure the gruesome rehabilitation process. She applied herself to it, and eventually managed to raise again on her feet. However, she would no longer exude a "cold beauty" aura anymore. The scars and the muscular definition she had gained during the process and subsequent exercises would make her more like a thug.
But for Freya, this was not really that important. She was able to keep in touch with her siblings. She was able to keep on living. To make friends in high school, despite her odd name and looks. She even engaged in silly activities like a courage test. It was during such when she caught sight of the Vices. Being the most fit and composed, she decided to stall the inevitable and let her friends escape while trying to hold the creatures who had ambushed her and her friends in vain. It was then, when the Keepers noticed her.
And thus a magical girl was born.
Other: Denies being a mother hen.
