I also would've loved living in the 80s, not as a toddler, and then stop time in the 90s, my favorite decade.

This is a pretty good opinion my homesicle.

Both the 80s and 90s were fun. The 70s were cool to some degree. But at the same time, they sucked; good and bad. I agree with you on today. I saw a meme the other day that was quite illuminating. I cannot find it, but it was the quote that really stuck with me. "Years ago people kept a diary and got upset if anyone read it. Today, they post their personal thoughts and get upset if no one reads them."

I hate it when someone blames a whole band for one members mistake or incident.

I actually had a full conversation with a parrot at a aspca once, when I was a kid. she was trained to be able to talk, especially have conversations, but man did she have an attitude problem.

I have had hundreds if not thousands of conversations with animals. Not once have any of them ever responded to me.

Well, thank you. Both decades were awesome times so I imagine a large amount of people feel the same way.

I've seen that too. It's crazy what people put online; bad enough to make me cringe almost to the point where my psychological health suffers.

I learned a parrot can respond to you, especially if they are trained to speak. lol

So, at about 12:30a last night I had the urge to see how many pushups I could do before my arms collapsed. Sadly it wasn't as many as I though, but I'm pretty sure that the "midnight crazies" my cats have on an almost nightly basis is slowly permeating my mind. :/

I'm really insecure about my body -- like really insecure.

There's thousands of outfits or articles of clothing that I have put back or am to scared to even buy, much less wear or try out, because of said insecurities. I know it sounds stupid, but my whole life I've sort of had the idea of 'thin is beautiful' pounded into my head. I call myself fat, when in retrospect I'm what people call thick? Idk. I think I'm fat. Thick didn't even exist until like last year that I know of. I guess I criticize myself so much that my mind has tricked itself into thinking that everyone else does to upon meeting/seeing me.

Same, except the last part.

At times I contain my ramblings and musings yet I prefer anything but that in such a case. All too often is it eschewed for more menial things in life and conversation, the mundane and plain, the layman's concerns. As result I oft wonder where these discussions would truly lead if people did engage rather than make themselves intellectually elusive from them. However, the reality is, is that by and large people haven't said interest in wild flights of fancy and philosophical questioning.
