He also secretly admired the female form, and wished that he could try being a female, even for just a day. He heard that those VR games getting more and more realistic every day...

Now, reborn in Akohana, he was granted with a female body (and a really pleasant-looking one at that). At first he was shocked and surprised, not to mention the whole thing about being reincarnated in an entirely new world, but he quickly adapted. (S)he was now Lucian Phantasmagore. a lady mage born out of noble birth. That was the identity she had decided to go with.

Background:
He pretty much enjoyed a normal, middle-class life back at Earth. He was a smart boy, always the top of his class up until high school. But once he got into college, and then to the workforce, he realized he was no more than another cog in the machine. And this naturally depressed him, who always thought that he was at least a little special.

That's why after he was reincarnated, she swore to herself to live her new life to the fullest, and not let the chains of society or her own cowardice drag her down once more.
