If he has any weapons on his person they'd be confiscated but he could get them back as long as they're actually his and they're not obviously tied to an ongoing investigation... so not that big of a deal, and even if they're illegal weapons that could still work.
And yeah they probably would lol. At least in Redhaven vampires are more of a threat than lycanthropes, so if they can blackmail a Yakuza member with weapons charges or worse, and he's a powerful werewolf with a personal vendetta against vampires, he's a perfect pawn to aid investigation.
I'm about to introduce one maybe two new characters to fill some gaps... I guess it's obvious now but Hayli isn't RPing anymore. So I'm going to add a little more to the background cast with some necromancy and police corruption.
